There has been so much going on in my life lately it is amazing to me that I'm still standing. That is the key phrase here 'STILL STANDING'. The week ended on a simple note, one that I believe many feel quite often and that is 'thank God I survived'. There have been many times in my life where I look back and say to myself 'I know I didn't get through that period of time on my own strength.' I always have to give God Almighty all of the credit. I had a very interesting conversation with a friend at work today. We began talking about the world's dependency on oil and how every owner of a car today is held hostage by the oil companies. I've mentioned this before, if the price per barrel sky rockets tomorrow our gas stations will have to follow suit in order to stay in business. We, the consumer will have NO other choice but to pay whatever is being charged if we want to continue to drive our gasoline powered vehicles. Er don't we? NOT IF WE, THE CONSUMER DEMAND CHANGE!
I was sharing my perspective on wind powered generators. I mentioned how an oil tycoon like T. Bone Pickens has seen the light and is making efforts to persuade our government and the public that converting to wind powered generation and using natural gases would help our nation become independent and also provide clean energy. I continued by suggesting that if we could convince other billionaires to invest in his vision, perhaps the 'Green-friendly Revolution' can began NOW and not stall 10-20 years. There has to be incentive for all parties involved (the investor, the innovator and the consumer).
My friend countered with her perspective which after listening intently to her argument ENLIGHTENED me so! She left me eager to learn more. She suggested that HYDROGEN is the wave of the future. If we could use this natural inexhaustible resource and find a way to recycle the water created from the hydrogen cells than we can as a nation become self-sufficient. The other countries will follow our lead.
I began researching the topic and was blown away by the progress hydrogen vehicles have made since inception. There are more automobile manufactures seriously considering and have actually created hydrogen prototypes that are being leased in order to work out any kinks before mass production.

Darkness leads the globe in homicide. They lead the globe in rape. They lead the globe in alcohol and drug addiction. Because they did not know how to function in the absense of the son. There is something to be said. I believe that they might have been able to adjust had they always lived in darkness. But because they were exposed to what it means to be in the LIGHT. It took their minds into a regressive state. Where their mind begin to shut down. There are two entities that keep the mind healthy. What meets the minds mandate to maintain its equilibrium and its healthy stratum is that the mind needs nutrients and it needs LIGHT. There are daily mandatory requirements for LIGHT and nutrients for the mind to operate in peak performance.
Our lives my brothers and sisters are in a constant struggle between trying to get the nutrients from the inside and the light from the outside. The problem is, is that so many of us try to get our energy, our substantation from the outside because we have no foundation on the inside. And so all of who we are is predicated on how other people define us. So we need other people to tell us that we are valuable, that we are attrative, that we are intelligent, that we are gifted, that we have something to offer. But that is only half of it. The MAIN source is that you've got to find something on the inside so that if nobody recognizes the value that I have to bring to the table, that I understand that I am something without you. So that if you never applaud me, if you never affirm me, if you never recognize my God given gifts grace and talent, I understand that I have it going on even if you leave me. Because I was something without you. So I didn't need you to make me whole. I was whole when you showed up. All you can do is just compliment and accentuate who I already am. That's why I'm not desperate for friends. You don't have to call me. I don't have to go eat with you. You don't have to sit with me in church. I learned to enjoy my own company. If nobody else will celebrate with me, than I've learned to give God the glory all by myself.
See some of you have never gone through some lonely seasons. But I might as well tell you that isolation always comes before elevation! God wants to see how you can maintain when you're by yourself. When you don't have any cheerleaders. When you have nobody encouraging you. Like David, you learned to encourage yourself. This is the season in your life that you don't need no prayer partners. You don't need no praise partners. But you learned how to celebrate God while you were alone in your house and you said, "when I think of the goodness of Jesus and all that He's done for me, I get JOY when I think about all that God has done for me."
Hear this, darkness wants to stop you from learning. Darkness wants to stop you from creating. Darkness wants to stop you from analyzing. Darkness wants to stop you from processing. LIGHT is necessary for you to learn, for you to create, for you to analyze and for you to process. It is no accident that when we go back to Genesis 1, that the very first miracle that God ever created, He said "Let there be LIGHT". Now I don't want you to leave that on a surface value. Because when God was saying "Let there be LIGHT", He was not talking about the sun. Because He does that on a different day when He separates the day from the night. When He was saying "Let there be LIGHT", He was speaking to the entities that did not exist yet. He was speaking to us who we were already on His mind. When He said "Let there be LIGHT", what He was saying is let there be in you something that is creative, let there be in you something that is constructive, and let there be something in you something that is critical.
The reason why the enemy can not stand you is because you do not fit in the mold of how other people ought to be. The get upset when you don't go along to get along. But you can't help it, it's just something creative about you. God gives you ideas, dreams and He gives you visions, He gives you flashes of your future. The other folk around you because they can't see what you see they get upset when you start sharing with them what God is showing you in the middle of the night. But I'm preaching to 500 of you in here. God has shown you a vision and you don't know how it's going to happen, you don't know how it's going to be paid for, you don't know how God is going to bring it together. All I know is that God showed it to me and if He showed it to me than it's coming to pass!
For some of you who never get to the movies early, because I know that most of you don't get there early, let me help you understands what happens. If you get to the movies early, look out for some clues, some insights. Look out if you get there early for the lights to go off. When the lights go off, that's an indication something is getting ready to happen. You don't know what it is, but something is getting ready to happen. Whenever God turns the lights off on a situation where you can't see, He's got to remind you that I walk by faith and not by sight. So when I praise God, I'm not praising God based on what I see. I'm praising Him based on what He promised. Now if God has never promised you anything, you can't shout in the dark. But if God has promised you something and you don't have it yet, I dare you to praise Him off of the promise that it's coming.
I don't know what it is that you've lost over the last couple of years. But if you will still attend Him in the dark. If you were able to see God in the middle of a bleak situation. God is having me to tell you that what I'm getting ready to release to you is not necessarily something new. It's what you thought you lost. In case you missed it let me see if I can help you. I'm giving you what you thought you lost. You thought you lost TIME. But what I'm getting ready to do is give TIME back to you! You thought you lost opportunities. But NOW I'm going to give you a DOUBLE portion. So that the next opportunity will be worth double what it is that you would have got years ago. I went outside after posting my last song and I began singing this song in my spirit! I swear I have not heard this song in a long while. But the words 'Absolutely NOT' was first received in my spirit like a whisper. I was puzzled and kept repeating the phrase, like saying huh absolutely not? In the beginning, the Twins were created in God, the Alpha and the Omega.
In an ovoid white-fire-spirit-light, the Soul was split just like the atom into two identical parts, or Twin Flames: each with the same identical soul blueprint, but with different purposes.
One Essence divided itself into two exactly equal and opposite intonations in order to experience form. The Twin Flames were created together, in the dawn of time, like the two faces of the same coin.
But as the three-dimensional experience unfolded, they became separated by a dualistic system which pulled them into an unbalanced equilibrium, expressing itself through two extended and separated forms. One of the great challenges before us as a nation is remaining steadfast in our fight against terrorism while preserving our commitment to the rule of law and individual liberty. As a senator from New York on September 11, I understand the importance of taking any and all necessary steps to protect our nation from those who would do us harm. I believe strongly that we must modernize our surveillance laws in order to provide intelligence professionals the tools needed to fight terrorism and make our country more secure. However, any surveillance program must contain safeguards to protect the rights of Americans against abuse, and to preserve clear lines of oversight and accountability over this administration. I applaud the efforts of my colleagues who negotiated this legislation, and I respect my colleagues who reached a different conclusion on today’s vote. I do so because this is a difficult issue. Nonetheless, I could not vote for the legislation in its current form.
The legislation would overhaul the law that governs the administration’s surveillance activities. Some of the legislation’s provisions place guidelines and restrictions on the operational details of the surveillance activities, others increase judicial and legislative oversight of those activities, and still others relate to immunity for telecommunications companies that participated in the administration’s surveillance activities.
While this legislation does strengthen oversight of the administration’s surveillance activities over previous drafts, in many respects, the oversight in the bill continues to come up short. For instance, while the bill nominally calls for increased oversight by the FISA Court, its ability to serve as a meaningful check on the President’s power is debatable. The clearest example of this is the limited power given to the FISA Court to review the government’s targeting and minimization procedures.
But the legislation has other significant shortcomings. The legislation makes no meaningful change to the immunity provisions. There is little disagreement that the legislation effectively grants retroactive immunity to the telecommunications companies. In my judgment, immunity under these circumstances has the practical effect of shutting down a critical avenue for holding the administration accountable for its conduct. It is precisely why I have supported efforts in the Senate to strip the bill of these provisions, both today and during previous debates on this subject. Unfortunately, these efforts have been unsuccessful.
What is more, even as we considered this legislation, the administration refused to allow the overwhelming majority of Senators to examine the warrantless wiretapping program. This made it exceedingly difficult for those Senators who are not on the Intelligence and Judiciary Committees to assess the need for the operational details of the legislation, and whether greater protections are necessary. The same can be said for an assessment of the telecom immunity provisions. On an issue of such tremendous importance to our citizens – and in particular to New Yorkers – all Senators should have been entitled to receive briefings that would have enabled them to make an informed decision about the merits of this legislation. I cannot support this legislation when we know neither the nature of the surveillance activities authorized nor the role played by telecommunications companies granted immunity.
Congress must vigorously check and balance the president even in the face of dangerous enemies and at a time of war. That is what sets us apart. And that is what is vital to ensuring that any tool designed to protect us is used – and used within the law – for that purpose and that purpose alone. I believe my responsibility requires that I vote against this compromise, and I will continue to pursue reforms that will improve our ability to collect intelligence in our efforts to combat terror and to oversee that authority in Congress.
Okay people how much more can we take as United States Citizens from our government officials robbing us ALL of our basic civil liberties? The new FISA Act of 2008 replaces the old one that President Bush and the house passed back in 2005. This one has extended surveillance time of one week without needing court approval. Protecting us against terrorists??? Yeah RIGHT! If they couldn't do it back in 2001 with us having the FBI, CIA, INS, no flyzone airwatch and so many other secret service and undercover intelligence agencies... In a message posted on the website my.barackobama.com Monday, Barack Obama explained his decision to support the compromise bill sitting in the Senate that would reform the nation's surveillance laws regarding foreign agents.
The bill, which modifies the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, was passed by the House last month. It modernizes and alters some of the processes through which the government can monitor the actions of suspected terrorists.
The bill, a product of months of negotiation between Democrats and Republicans, also contains a provision that would allow federal judges to grant the large telecommunication companies that cooperated with the National Security Agency's now-defunct warrantless wiretapping program immunity from civil lawsuits that allege privacy violations.
The immunity provision has been a longstanding flashpoint for the legislation -- and it has split Democrats in the Senate. Earlier this year, Obama said he would work to defeat, even filibuster, any bill that extended immunity.
But last month, Obama indicated he would support the compromise legislation. And here is why:

The biggest group on Mr Obama's own web portal was one pleading with him yesterday to vote against domestic wire-tapping of terror suspects, which gives phone companies immunity from prosecution for past misdeeds.
By 11am 18,733 activists had joined the group, a fivefold increase in a week since he pledged support for the Bill. Previously he had described this measure as violating basic civil liberties, adding: “We have to make clear the lines that cannot be crossed.”

The votes in the Senate on various amendments to the FISA "compromise" bill and to the underlying bill itself were originally scheduled for today, but have been postponed until tomorrow (Wednesday, July 9) to enable Senators to attend the funeral of Jesse Helms. Rejection of the amendments -- including the Dodd-Feingold-Leahy amendment to strip telecom immunity from the bill -- is all but certain, and final passage of the bill (with the support of both presidential candidates) is guaranteed.
Once passed by the Senate, the FISA bill will then immediately be sent by the Democratic Congress to an eagerly awaiting and immensely pleased President Bush, who will sign it into law, thereby putting a permanent and happy end to the scandal that began when -- in December, 2005 -- he was caught spying on the communications of American citizens in violation of the law. The only real remaining questions are (a) whether Bush will host Steny Hoyer and Jay Rockefeller at a festive, bipartisan White House signing ceremony to celebrate the evisceration of the Fourth Amendment and the rule of law, and (b) whether Bush, when he signs the bill into law, will append a signing statement decreeing that even its minimal restraints on presidential spying are invalid.

If nothing else, as the Democratic-led Senate follows in the footsteps of the Democratic-led House this week by passing a bill demanded by George Bush and Dick Cheney to cover up and retroactively legalize their surveillance crimes and protect the lawbreakers, there will be a clear record -- delivered to their front doors -- of what they're really doing, along with an accounting of the deceitful propaganda they are disseminating to mask and justify it.
As I have described previously, the campaign we have been conducting is intended to be only the first step -- not the last -- in taking a stand against the endless erosion of core constitutional protections and the rapidly expanding Lawless Surveillance State. We have created a new organization, Accountability Now, to conduct the ongoing battle to target and remove from power those who enable these abuses; to force these issues into our political discourse; and to prevent the Washington Establishment from continuing to trample on basic constitutional protections with impunity.
With regard to the Senate FISA vote, a new event occurred yesterday that underscores the pure lawlessness of what our Congress will do this week. One of the pending Senate amendments -- the only one with any remote chance of passing -- is an amendment (.pdf) sponsored by Sen. Jeff Bingaman (co-sponsored by GOP Sen. Arlen Specter and Democratic Sen. Bob Casey). The Bingaman amendment would merely postpone the granting of telecom immunity until 90 days after Congress receives the Inspector General's audits of the President's NSA spying program which the new FISA bill mandates, and would freeze the telecom lawsuits in place until then.
The rationale behind the amendment is clear and simple: namely, members of Congress, the vast majority of whom know virtually nothing about what the telecoms did, shouldn't grant immunity unless they know what this illegal spying program entailed. If the IG Report reveals that the program (even though illegal) was devoted to a benign and proper purpose, then Congress (if it is so inclined) can grant immunity then. But if the IG Report reveals the spying program to be something other than what the President and the telecoms claim it to be -- if it entails far more invasive surveillance of Americans or was abused for improper purposes -- then immunity would obviously be wildly inappropriate. Even the ACLU and EFF, the lead organizations behind the telecom lawsuits, favor the Bingaman Amendment.

Hi everybody. This article released by The Telegraph in the UK pretty much confirms what I have been writing about and alerting you to prepare for with regard to the global economies, the global financial markets, your money etc. Since this article was released last week the financial markets have taken a nose dive, plus oil is hitting new highs currently at $144 and climbing. It is not a pretty picture to say the least.
Plus, ADP Employer Services said today that U.S. private- sector employers slashed 79,000 jobs in June, the largest drop since November 2002, stirring worries that the government's jobs report on Thursday may also come in weak. US central bank accused of unleashing an inflation shock that will rock financial markets, reports Ambrose Evans-Pritchard
Barclays Capital has advised clients to batten down the hatches for a worldwide financial storm, warning that the US Federal Reserve has allowed the inflation genie out of the bottle and let its credibility fall "below zero".
"We're in a nasty environment," said Tim Bond, the bank's chief equity strategist. "There is an inflation shock underway. This is going to be very negative for financial assets. We are going into tortoise mood and are retreating into our shell. Investors will do well if they can preserve their wealth."
Barclays Capital said in its closely-watched Global Outlook that US headline inflation would hit 5.5pc by August and the Fed will have to raise interest rates six times by the end of next year to prevent a wage-spiral. If it hesitates, the bond markets will take matters into their own hands. "This is the first test for central banks in 30 years and they have fluffed it. They have zero credibility, and the Fed is negative if that's possible. It has lost all credibility," said Mr Bond.
The grim verdict on Ben Bernanke's Fed was underscored by the markets yesterday as the dollar fell against the euro following the bank's dovish policy statement on Wednesday.
The Fed's stimulus is being transmitted to the 45-odd countries linked to the dollar around world. The result is surging commodity prices. Global inflation has jumped from 3.2pc to 5pc over the last year.
Mr Bond said the emerging world is now on the cusp of a serious crisis. "Inflation is out of control in Asia. Vietnam has already blown up. The policy response is to shoot the messenger, like the developed central banks in the late 1960s and 1970s," he said.
"They will have to slam on the brakes. There is going to be a deep global recession over the next three years as policy-makers try to get inflation back in the box."
Barclays Capital recommends outright "short" positions on Asian bonds, warning that yields could jump 200 to 300 basis points. The currencies of trade-deficit states like India should be sold. The US yield curve is likely to "steepen" with a vengeance, causing a bloodbath for bond holders.
The bank said the full damage from the global banking crisis would take another year to unfold. [This is just the beginning folks]
