Dealing With Darkness Pt. 1 of 3

Oh my God! This is a must post message I want to share with all of you. This WILL help build your resolve. The reason why I'm tripping is because I was looking for a message Joel Osteen gave today. Couldn't find it. I continued searching, briefly listening to several messages from different pastors. I liked many. I kept asking God to show me which message I needed to post for my readers today. What was the message He wanted you to hear. I listened to this message for a few seconds and knew this was the one. I never heard this message until today. Well this message ROCKS! It will most definitely strengthen your resolve without a doubt! My spirit connected immediately! I hope your's does as well. This message is given by Dr. Jamal Bryant. Darkness leads the globe in homicide. They lead the globe in rape. They lead the globe in alcohol and drug addiction. Because they did not know how to function in the absense of the son. There is something to be said. I believe that they might have been able to adjust had they always lived in darkness. But because they were exposed to what it means to be in the LIGHT. It took their minds into a regressive state. Where their mind begin to shut down. There are two entities that keep the mind healthy. What meets the minds mandate to maintain its equilibrium and its healthy stratum is that the mind needs nutrients and it needs LIGHT. There are daily mandatory requirements for LIGHT and nutrients for the mind to operate in peak performance.

Our lives my brothers and sisters are in a constant struggle between trying to get the nutrients from the inside and the light from the outside. The problem is, is that so many of us try to get our energy, our substantation from the outside because we have no foundation on the inside. And so all of who we are is predicated on how other people define us. So we need other people to tell us that we are valuable, that we are attrative, that we are intelligent, that we are gifted, that we have something to offer. But that is only half of it. The MAIN source is that you've got to find something on the inside so that if nobody recognizes the value that I have to bring to the table, that I understand that I am something without you. So that if you never applaud me, if you never affirm me, if you never recognize my God given gifts grace and talent, I understand that I have it going on even if you leave me. Because I was something without you. So I didn't need you to make me whole. I was whole when you showed up. All you can do is just compliment and accentuate who I already am. That's why I'm not desperate for friends. You don't have to call me. I don't have to go eat with you. You don't have to sit with me in church. I learned to enjoy my own company. If nobody else will celebrate with me, than I've learned to give God the glory all by myself.

See some of you have never gone through some lonely seasons. But I might as well tell you that isolation always comes before elevation! God wants to see how you can maintain when you're by yourself. When you don't have any cheerleaders. When you have nobody encouraging you. Like David, you learned to encourage yourself. This is the season in your life that you don't need no prayer partners. You don't need no praise partners. But you learned how to celebrate God while you were alone in your house and you said, "when I think of the goodness of Jesus and all that He's done for me, I get JOY when I think about all that God has done for me."

Hear this, darkness wants to stop you from learning. Darkness wants to stop you from creating. Darkness wants to stop you from analyzing. Darkness wants to stop you from processing. LIGHT is necessary for you to learn, for you to create, for you to analyze and for you to process. It is no accident that when we go back to Genesis 1, that the very first miracle that God ever created, He said "Let there be LIGHT". Now I don't want you to leave that on a surface value. Because when God was saying "Let there be LIGHT", He was not talking about the sun. Because He does that on a different day when He separates the day from the night. When He was saying "Let there be LIGHT", He was speaking to the entities that did not exist yet. He was speaking to us who we were already on His mind. When He said "Let there be LIGHT", what He was saying is let there be in you something that is creative, let there be in you something that is constructive, and let there be something in you something that is critical.

The reason why the enemy can not stand you is because you do not fit in the mold of how other people ought to be. The get upset when you don't go along to get along. But you can't help it, it's just something creative about you. God gives you ideas, dreams and He gives you visions, He gives you flashes of your future. The other folk around you because they can't see what you see they get upset when you start sharing with them what God is showing you in the middle of the night. But I'm preaching to 500 of you in here. God has shown you a vision and you don't know how it's going to happen, you don't know how it's going to be paid for, you don't know how God is going to bring it together. All I know is that God showed it to me and if He showed it to me than it's coming to pass!

For some of you who never get to the movies early, because I know that most of you don't get there early, let me help you understands what happens. If you get to the movies early, look out for some clues, some insights. Look out if you get there early for the lights to go off. When the lights go off, that's an indication something is getting ready to happen. You don't know what it is, but something is getting ready to happen. Whenever God turns the lights off on a situation where you can't see, He's got to remind you that I walk by faith and not by sight. So when I praise God, I'm not praising God based on what I see. I'm praising Him based on what He promised. Now if God has never promised you anything, you can't shout in the dark. But if God has promised you something and you don't have it yet, I dare you to praise Him off of the promise that it's coming.

I don't know what it is that you've lost over the last couple of years. But if you will still attend Him in the dark. If you were able to see God in the middle of a bleak situation. God is having me to tell you that what I'm getting ready to release to you is not necessarily something new. It's what you thought you lost. In case you missed it let me see if I can help you. I'm giving you what you thought you lost. You thought you lost TIME. But what I'm getting ready to do is give TIME back to you! You thought you lost opportunities. But NOW I'm going to give you a DOUBLE portion. So that the next opportunity will be worth double what it is that you would have got years ago. You thought that you lost your mind, but in the middle of worship I gave you a mind transplant. Let this mind be in you which is also in Christ Jesus. I'm giving you everything.
