1 Corinthians 12: Concerning Spiritual Gifts
1 Corinthians 12 AMPLIFIED
[source: Biblegateway]
1 Now about the spiritual gifts (the special endowments of supernatural energy), brethren, I do not want you to be misinformed.
2 You know that when you were heathen (pagan, non-believers), you were led off after idols that could not speak [habitually] as impulse directed and whenever the occasion might arise.
3 Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking under the power and influence of the [Holy] Spirit of God can [ever] say, Jesus be cursed! And no one can [really] say, Jesus is [my] Lord, except by and under the power and influence of the Holy Spirit.
4 Now there are distinctive varieties and distributions of endowments (gifts, extraordinary powers distinguishing certain Christians, due to the power of divine grace operating in their souls by the Holy Spirit) and they vary, but the [Holy] Spirit remains the same.
5 And there are distinctive varieties of service and ministration, but it is the same Lord [Who is served].
6 And there are distinctive varieties of operation [of working to accomplish things], but it is the same God Who inspires and energizes them all in all.
7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the [Holy] Spirit [the evidence, the spiritual illumination of the Spirit] for the common good and profit.
8 To one is given in and through the [Holy] Spirit [the power to speak] a message of wisdom, and to another [the power to express] a word of knowledge and understanding according to the same [Holy] Spirit;
9 To another [wonder-working] faith by the same [Holy] Spirit, to another the extraordinary powers of healing by the one Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles, to another prophetic insight (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose); to another the ability to discern and distinguish between [the utterances of true] spirits [and false ones], to another various kinds of [unknown] tongues, to another the ability to interpret [such] tongues.
Unity and Diversity in the Body
12 For just as the body is a unity and yet has many parts, and all the parts, though many, form [only] one body, so it is with Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
13 For by [means of the personal agency of] one [Holy] Spirit we were all, whether Jews or Gentiles (non-Jew), slaves or free, baptized [and by baptism united together] into one body, and all made to drink of one [Holy] Spirit. [For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body. NIV]
14 For the body does not consist of one limb or organ but of many.
15 If the foot should say, Because I am not the hand, I do not belong to the body, would it be therefore not [a part] of the body?
16 If the ear should say, Because I am not the eye, I do not belong to the body, would it be therefore not [a part] of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where [would be the sense of] hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where [would be the sense of] smell?
18 But as it is, God has placed and arranged the limbs and organs in the body, each [particular one] of them, just as He wished and saw fit and with the best adaptation.
19 But if [the whole] were all a single organ, where would the body be?
20 And now there are [certainly] many limbs and organs, but a single body.
21 And the eye is not able to say to the hand, I have no need of you, nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 But instead, there is [absolute] necessity for the parts of the body that are considered the more weak.
23 And those [parts] of the body which we consider rather ignoble are [the very parts] which we invest with additional honor, and our unseemly parts and those unsuitable for exposure are treated with seemliness (modesty and decorum),
24 Which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so adjusted (mingled, harmonized, and subtly proportioned the parts of) the whole body, giving the greater honor and richer endowment to the inferior parts which lack [apparent importance],
25 So that there should be no division or discord or lack of adaptation [of the parts of the body to each other], but the members all alike should have a mutual interest in and care for one another.
26 And if one member suffers, all the parts [share] the suffering; if one member is honored, all the members [share in] the enjoyment of it.
27 Now you [collectively] are Christ’s body and [individually] you are members of it, each part severally and distinct [each with his own place and function].
28 So God has appointed some in the church [for His own use]: first apostles (special messengers); second prophets (inspired preachers and expounders); third teachers; then wonder-workers; then those with ability to heal the sick; helpers; administrators; [speakers in] different (unknown) tongues.
29 Are all apostles (special messengers)? Are all prophets (inspired interpreters of the will and purposes of God)? Are all teachers? Do all have the power of performing miracles?
30 Do all possess extraordinary powers of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
31 But earnestly desire and zealously cultivate the greatest and best gifts and graces (the higher gifts and the choicest graces). And yet I will show you a still more excellent way [one that is better by far and the highest of them all—LOVE].
Romans 12: A Living Sacrifice, Love In Action
[source: Biblegateway]
A Living Sacrifice
1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Humble Service in the Body of Christ
3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. 4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Love in Action
9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 On the contrary:
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Love Fulfills the Law
8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. 9 The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
Life Needs A Balance Between The Depth And The Height
Life Needs A Balance Between The Depth And The Height
[source: Osho International]
I want people to be so awake that their whole consciousness goes to the deepest part of their being, and also to the highest peak. A vertical growth -- just like a tree grows. Its roots go down into the earth, and its branches spread towards the stars. Its blossoms flower into the sky, its nourishment comes from the deepest part of the earth. It is always balanced: the higher the tree goes, the deeper the roots. You cannot have a cedar of Lebanon tree, four hundred or five hundred years old, rising so high in the sky, with small roots. It will fall down immediately.
Life needs a balance between the depth and the height. I teach you both simultaneously. In your entering to the center in meditation, you are growing your roots deeper into the cosmos. And bringing the buddha out from the hidden center is bringing your fragrance, bringing your grace, bringing your ecstasy higher, where it can blossom into the sky.Your ecstasy is a movement towards the height and your meditation is a movement towards the depth. And once you have both, your life becomes a celebration.
That is my work, to transform your life from a sad affair into a celebration.
If we can fill the earth with laughter there is not going to be any war. If we can teach the soldiers to tell jokes to the enemy, there is not going to be any war. They will throw their guns and sit down and share jokes! And when somebody is telling a joke, can you kill him? When he is bringing laughter to you, can you destroy him?Every man now is responsible to create a buddhafield around himself, an energy field that goes on becoming bigger and bigger. Create as many vibrations of laughter, joy, celebration, as possible; dance, sing, let the whole of humanity by and by catch the fire of Zen and the wind of Zen.
Nobody is really interested to be sad. Nobody is interested to torture himself. It is your religions and your politicians who go on making you sad and miserable, because in your misery is their whole business. If you start laughing, if you start dancing, throwing the gun away; if you take up a guitar....
Jesus says to his disciples, "Carry your cross on your shoulders." [Osho misunderstands this statement, I will explain below. (emphasis mine)] I say, don't listen to such nonsense. Carry your guitar on your shoulders, and fresh and fragrant laughter on your lips. Make this whole world a merry-go-round. You don't have that word. You have the word `SORRY-go-round'. I have to create language for you!
Just your laughter will be enough to prevent the war. Your celebration, your dance, will be enough to prevent the war. Your ecstasy, your meditation, will create a tremendous force which will be far higher because it is life-affirmative.
Your religions are life-negative. Your politicians are life-negative. Your religions prepare you for beyond life, not to live here joyously. And your politicians create weapons to kill you. Politicians kill you and priests console you: "Don't be worried. After your death you will be entering paradise -- beautiful women and rivers of wine." No prohibition, no marriage... have you ever heard that in paradise there are marriages?
I am creating a paradise herenow. I don't wait for death -- why should one wait for death? And if there is going to be a paradise after death, please prepare for it! Be ready for it! Enjoy here, so that you can enjoy there. Only those who are capable of enjoying here, and dancing here, and singing here, and loving here, will be able to enjoy paradise...

"Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me." [Matthew 16:24 NLT]
This statement Jesus makes above sounds pretty self explanatory to me. But many misinterpret what Jesus is trying to say here. This other bible verse sums it up for me, "Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect." [Romans 12:2 NLT]
When you reach a point in your life when you've had it with the world and are done trying to figure it out and are done trying to make everything work in your life on your terms becomes a critical stage for you. The moment you surrender yourself to your Source, that is taking up your cross, when you open up your heart and invite Jesus (Yahshua, the living breathing WORD of God.) into your life, you are welcoming the Holy Spirit (the breath of God) to fill your being. When you accept and welcome this transformation to take place in your life, you are then being led by the Holy Spirit with Jesus (Yahshua) residing in your heart, you are following Him (His guidance, spiritually speaking) and you do turn from your selfish ways because you have given up the self(ish) part of you and are slowly but surely overtime becoming self(less). It is a process. Eventually you become one with existence (God) after much cleansing away of the old self molded by environment to become the very being God had always intended you to be.
The cross analogy was never meant for us to look upon our surrendering to God as a burden. Jesus (Yahshua, the living breathing WORD of God) already made that sacrifice for all of us on the cross. Jesus says his yoke is easy and his burden is light. He says to take this easy yoke upon ourselves. Jesus will help you straighten out the mess of your life. You can learn from him because he is gentle and humble. He will gently, and without condemnation help you to get your life right. You won't have to do it alone. You will have spiritual help.
"Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”" [Matthew 11:28-30]

(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher (1967)
~by Jackie Wilson
Your love, liftin' me higher
Than I've ever been lifted before
So keep it up, quench my desire
And I'll be at your side forevermore
You know your love (your love keeps liftin' me)
Keeps on liftin' (your love keeps liftin' me)
Higher (liftin' me, liftin' me), higher, and higher (higher)
I said your love (your love keeps liftin' me)
Keeps on (liftin' me, liftin' me)
Liftin' me (liftin' me) higher and higher (higher)
Now once I was downhearted
Disappointment was my closest friend
But then you came and he soon departed
And you know he never showed his face again
That's why your love (your love keeps liftin' me)
Keeps on liftin' (your love keeps liftin' me)
Higher (liftin' me, liftin' me), higher, and higher (higher)
I said your love (your love keeps liftin' me)
Keeps on (liftin' me, liftin' me)
Liftin' me (liftin' me) higher and higher (higher)
Awww
I'm so glad I finally found you
Yes, that one in a million girls
And I wish my lovin' arms around ya
Honey, I can stand up and face the world
Let me tell ya your love (your love keeps liftin' me)
Keeps on liftin' (your love keeps liftin' me)
Higher (liftin' me, liftin' me), higher, and higher (higher)
I said your love (your love keeps liftin' me)
Keeps on (liftin' me, liftin' me)
Liftin' me (liftin' me) higher and higher (higher)
Saying Yes and Being Open To the Journey of Self-Discovery

This guest post, from the enchanting Evita Ochel of Evolving Beings, is part of the Self-Discovery Series — a series dedicated to helping you along your own path of self-discovery and development. Her story is one that deeply resonates with me, and I hope you will find it as inspiring as I have. Please be sure to leave your comments for Evita — Enjoy!!
Traveling, taking journeys and exploring is one of my most favorite things to do. To date I have visited over 15 countries and numerous cities. Each journey, each trip was unique and filled with so many new experiences and lessons. Each exploration provided so much potential for personal expansion. Yet, out of all my trips, no experience can compare to one particular journey that I chose to experience—the journey of self-discovery.
Although it can be argued that we are each on this journey since we are born, I think it is not until we take conscious responsibility for it, when it begins to take on meaning. If I had to pin it down, I would say that my journey of self-discovery began exactly 10 years ago. Earlier in my life I had feelings that something was missing, that somehow there was more, but it was at this point that I became vaguely aware that I was embarking on a journey like no other. It was at this time that various events were making me look deep within my self to figure out who was it, that I really was and what was life—my life—all about.
It wasn’t however until 5 years later, when I became fully conscious of the journey of self-discovery, at which time I was propelled through a drastic personal and spiritual transformation.
A Journey of Self-Exploration Begins
Sometimes the biggest changes in our life come on very strong. Yet more often, the biggest changes in our life, begin as subtle steps that end up turning our whole world and life upside down. I can definitely relate to the latter, as to how my self-discovery unravelled.
It began so innocently with me meeting the man who would become my husband. Slowly, but surely I began fitting into and re-membering some deep part of myself that had laid dormant till this time. Slowly, but surely my take on life began to take a different twist. Up to this time I thought I knew who I was, and I thought I knew exactly where I was going. However I did not enjoy the ride of ups and downs, drama or being at the mercy of external circumstances. So along came life, waiting with open arms to show me a different way. I readily accepted.
Within the next year, transformational coincidences became more frequent. The climax of which was the coming of a book, which I credit for officially launching my journey of self-discovery. Here is how the story goes…
It was a hot August day and I was living with my parents, who happened to be away on vacation. I got the mail and a small package caught my attention. It was addressed from an acquaintance I had once heard of, but whom I knew my parents did not really keep in contact with. Intrigued, I opened the package to discover a book inside. The book was not in English, but rather in my parent’s native tongue. Inside the cover was a small note. “I hope this book changes your life, as it changed mine.”
Now my attention was really piqued. I glanced back at the cover and reread the title, “Conversations With God – book 1” by Neale Donald Walsch. Instantly, given my religious upbringing, I thought “oh sure, a religious book that promises to save us if we only devote ourselves.” Mind you at this time, I was still very much a part of the religion I was born into and took it quite seriously. However not having an interest in devotional religious books, I was about to put it down, but something within me held onto it. I began to flip the pages and read a few lines here or there. I sat down. I continued to flip and read. I was completely taken aback by what this book was saying. I did not know its full scope, but one thing was for sure. This was no religious book.
I shared the story with my husband (then boyfriend), as we were both experiencing profound life changes, and instantly began looking up the English version. Something within me was pulling me to this book, and I knew enough to know that this was no ordinary book. Within weeks, we got the audio version only to discover that this book was part of a trilogy and even had a documentary made based on it. That is when it all began to pour forth. The concepts this book was sharing were challenging the core of who I was and everything I stood for and believed in. It began to turning my life inside out. I wish I could say that it was a smooth, pleasant and happy journey, but it wasn’t. There were some very challenging parts and shed tears that had me questioning everything. Step by step, it empowered me to release everything that no longer served or represented me, including conditioned and limiting beliefs. Interestingly enough when my parents got back from their holidays, they wanted nothing to do with the book. There was no doubt in my mind that the book was meant to find me, and it definitely changed my life.
The Journey Continues
Over the next 2 years, thanks to more books, films, lectures and seeking, I can honestly say that everything in my life transformed. The views I held about myself, others, the world, life and the Universe completely changed and expanded. I had nothing short of a spiritual transformation, or awakening as some call it. I became free to see myself as a magnificent being of creation, whose potential was unlimited, rather than an unworthy human being at the mercy of external forces. The way I related to others changed. The way I related to myself changed. The way I viewed nature, politics, religion, health, nutrition, death, and everything in between got completely re-aligned. Looking back now, I became more congruent to who I am within—the spirit part of me—rather than simply being a by-product of society and culture.
Everything that made sense in the past all of a sudden no longer made sense. The religion I was part of felt empty and foreign, to that point that it felt suffocating for my being to have any association with it, or any other religion. My relationships changed and deepened. Those friends who did not resonate with who I was at my deeper core, naturally faded away, while new friendships emerged. Forgiveness, joy, gratitude, peace and compassion became the foundation of how I lived life on every level. From what I chose to eat, to what I chose to give my attention or energy to was consciously considered.
The Benefits of Self-Discovery
Since then, the journey has only continued to unfold and deepen exponentially. There was and is no time at which I would dare to say that I now know it all. No, it is the most amazing process of exploration of the depths and potential of the human being. Even more importantly it is a process of remembering who I really am—the unlimited, spiritual being who is beyond this body and any image or identification attached to it.
I cannot begin to share the amazing benefits that deciding to embark on this journey has gifted me with. Today, I feel confident to know the purpose of my life. I live with meaning. I live in a state of inner peace. I live loving life.
When I look back at how it all unfolded, I stand back in awe. This is why today my biggest advice to people no matter where they are on their life path, is to simply be open and allow yourself to work consciously with each moment. Say yes to the constant opportunities that come your way. Don’t be quick to judge, don’t close yourself off. Every moment presents an opportunity for growth, expansion and personal renewal.
Be open to living and loving life to the fullest—discovering and remembering who you really are along the way.

The decision to take responsibility for our actions and seek a path of self discovery and self fulfillment for our life is the beginning of self development and self discovery. This tremendous journey when embarked upon could take minutes to decide upon for the quick and irrational person to decide. It could also take days and years to discern a true self worth path of calling. Irrespective of the deference in human behaviour and choice, it boils down to one factor FREEWILL. The journey of self discovery and self development means different things to different folks. Although with slight similarities in pattern of wants. Happiness, love, success, fame, wealth, spirituality... are all possible pattern of choice we may seek to on the glorious path of self discovery and self development.
Self discovery and self development is about taking and making vital decisions to create the lifestyle you really want. Embarking on this journey is not a day’s job, neither is it one that can easily be actualized under a short period of time. To discover your inner person, you must be patient, enthusiastic, persistent, consistent, wise decision making and to sum it up the drive and energy to make it work even when all odds tell you its not possible. To succeed you must have dogged determination and a NO for an answer to all negativity that rear its ugly head around you. Note, because you have chosen to succeed and be different, it ain’t gonna be easy and obstacles are bound to come your way. That is indisputable because loads of obstacles will surely come your way on your path to self discovery and development.
Life is an ever changing and continuous evolving state of existence, so therefore your ability to adjust and remodel your plans of action as you learn along the corridor of life dictates the pace at which you grow tremendously. Invaluable facts will reveal itself to you as your self developmental circle matures. The pains and mistakes caused on the part to your development are key instruments of your successes to come if only you learn wisely from them. Oftentimes there are things that have occurred in our lives that have sparked unforgettable memories that keep coming back, there tendency to forget the factors that propels us on the journey of self development and self discovery. Those memories can trigger unpleasant thoughts that make it hard to put a plan into perspective to change and develop our lives the way we want them. There is a lot to benefit from on this singular decision of finding out your inner calling in life.
The key to unlocking the hidden treasure that lay within your destiny is the willingness to seek out that which life has in store for you. Taking this step is the best thing that can ever happen to you. Think of the goldmines of talents buried in the cemetery with their hidden treasures. This world has lost more Talents with mind blowing inventions that never saw the light of day. Ask yourself this question, do you want to live this world without leaving your footprint in the sands of time? If the answer is no, now is the time to tap into your inner self and seek a path that would propel you into the chambers of self discovery to a newplane of existence.

Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now, We're On The Move...♥
I was out running errands this afternoon and on my way home this awesome classic song played on the radio. It so expresses the way I'm feeling today!!! I am ready God! :) ♥
Life loves to be taken by the lapel and told: “I am with you, kid. Let’s go.” ~by Maya Angelou :) ♥

Ain't No Stoppin Us Now! (1979)
by Mcfadden & Whitehead
Ain't No Stoppin Us Now!
We're on the move!
Ain't No Stoppin Us Now!
We've got the groove!
There's been so many things that’s held us down.
But now it looks like things are finally comin' around.
I know we've got, a long long way to go,
And where we'll end up, I don't know.
But we won't let nothin' hold us back,
We're putting our selves together,
We're polishing up our act!
If you felt we've been held down before,
I know you'll refuse to be held down anymore!
Don't you let nothing, nothing,
Stand in your way!
I want ya'll to listen, listen,
To every word I say, every word I say!
Ain't No Stoppin Us Now!
We're on the move!
Ain't No Stoppin Us Now!
We've got the groove!
Ain't No Stoppin Us Now!
We're on the move!
Ain't No Stoppin Us Now!
We've got the groove!
I know you know someone that has a negative vow,
And if you're trying to make it they only push you aside.
They really don't have, no where to go.
Ask them where they're going, they don't know.
But we won't let nothin' hold us back,
We're gonna put our selves together,
We're gonna polish up our act!
And if you've ever been held down before,
I know you'll refuse to be held down anymore!

As Snowy Owl and Shooting Star climbed the path to the Star Temple they noticed Evening Star shining brightly low on the western horizon. The sisters knew she must be an important part of this Full Moon celebration as she had been at the last Full Moon. Her message then still echoed in their minds. Evening Star had said “In the faraway time, at Winter Solstice in the north, I will begin a backward journey into the Underworld. The purpose of this journey is for the two leggeds to find their authentic self and discover their Spiritual Power. Not everyone will be willing to go on this journey for it requires surrender of the ego. But for those who do there will be many blessings”. Snowy Owl and Shooting Star knew that backward journey would begin in four sunrises.
When the two young women settled in the center of the Star Temple the dark night sky was clear as the Cloud People were nowhere to be seen. Snowy Owl and Shooting Star watched as Sister Moon in her silver glory climbed higher into the night. Here in the North Country the air was very cold and there was a rainbow aura around Luna. As always the sisters felt a connection to the mystical when Sister Moon was in her full face. This night that was especially true.
Sister Moon spoke “The Wandering One who is my guide for this lunation is Hermes Thoth, the holder of Ancient Knowledge and Wisdom. In the far away time he is called Mercury, the messenger. He is a symbol for the thinking mind and that is what has gotten the two leggeds into trouble. They have forgotten how to listen to their intuitive knowing. The gift of this Full Moon is for each human to reconnect to Ancient Knowledge and Wisdom and let that guide their lives. As Evening Star said the purpose of her journey into the Underworld is to lead the two leggeds to find their authentic selves and discover their Spiritual Power. She too is my guide at this Full Moon. When she goes on her Underworld journey she will evoke the Ancient Power and Wisdom of the Goddess Tradition. Be ready to take that journey with her and you will forever be changed.”
Snowy Owl and Shooting Star felt the power of Sister Moon’s message. They were ready to take the journey into the Underworld as Evening Star made her transformation to Morning Star. She would then rise before Grandfather Sun and be known as Spiritual Warrior and Bringer of the Light.
On the surface the planetary dance at this Full Moon seems quite light and pleasant. There are trines (ease and flow) and sextiles (ease and opportunity) but when you look below the surface there is a much deeper message. Mercury in Sagittarius rules the Gemini Moon and Jupiter in Cancer rules the Sagittarius Sun. The problem is they are in an inconjunct aspect at this Lunation. That is the aspect of tension and confusion. Mercury in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Cancer both ask us to focus on our Spiritual Vision and Spiritual Destiny Path. The problem with the inconjunct is we may be feeling confused about exactly what that is at this time. If that is the case for you do not try to sort out the question “what is my Soul Purpose Path?” at this Full Moon. That will be the theme for the Venus in Capricorn Retrograde journey Dec 21, 2013 to Jan 31, 2014. Venus in Capricorn is the Soul Centered ruler for the Gemini Moon. We will describe her influence on this Lunation shortly.
In the astrological system there are major aspects (conjunction, sextile, square, trine, and opposition) that influence us harmoniously or challenge us to grow. In current day astrological interpretation many astrologers read what are known as the “minor aspects”. For example the inconjunct aspect (150 degree separation) we talked about (between Mercury and Jupiter) is commonly used to interpret the planetary dance at any given time. It is considered a “minor aspect” but also seen as having a powerful influence creating a need to release the old and embrace the new.
There is another “minor aspect” playing its part at this Full Moon. It is called a Nonagen or Novile. The angle formed between planets is 38 to 42 degrees. Astrologers who work with this aspect consider it to be karmic and linked to what needs to be transformed from the past in this lifetime and past lives. Some even describe it as an aspect of bondage related to the past that keeps us stuck in the old patterns. This Full Moon planetary dance is the opportunity to break free.
The distance between Mercury in Sagittarius (traditional ruler of Gemini) and Venus in Capricorn (Soul Centered ruler of Gemini) is 39 degrees so the aspect formed is the Nonagen. The Karma here is to let go of doctrines and dogma that keep us stuck in old belief systems that prevent us from living our truth. The Animal Totems who guide us are Owl (the wisdom to see through deception) for Mercury in Sagittarius, and Snow Goose (following your dreams and vision) for Venus in Capricorn. Snow Goose will also be our guide for the Venus journey into the Underworld.
The distance between Venus in Capricorn (society’s structures and rules) and Chiron in Pisces (healing the world wound) is 40 degrees so the aspect formed between the harmonizer (Venus) and the healer (Chiron) is the Nonagen. The Karma here is to heal our own wounds so we become Wayshowers for others and help the world heal. The Animal Totems for Pisces are Cougar (coming into your Spiritual Power) and Wolf (the Spiritual Teacher). Chiron is sextile (new pathways) the South Node in Taurus (releasing the past) and trine (removal of obstacles) the North Node in Scorpio (transformed new directions). The Animal Totem for Taurus is Beaver (releasing the past and building the new) and for Scorpio it is Snake (transformation and rebirth).
Powerful breakthrough energies are ours to embrace at this Full Moon. Uranus in Aries (breaking free to the authentic self) begins his forward motion at 12.40pm EST today. He has been retrograde for the past five months giving us all the opportunity to identify what prevents us from being our true selves. Now Uranus adds his energy to the theme the Nonagen aspects have activated. We all have the opportunity to reconnect consciously with the Ancient Knowledge and Wisdom that our Soul carries and heal and release the past.
The Animal Totem for the Moon in Gemini is Deer, sensitivity, compassion and Love. For the Sun in Sagittarius the Totems are Elk, strength of community, and Owl, wise perception. Sometimes we need to step out of the safety of community to discover our authentic self. That is the theme of this Gemini Full Moon. The Clan Mother for the Gemini Moon is Storyteller. She is the guardian of speaking the truth with compassion and supports us on the journey as we create our new story. For the Sun in Sagittarius the Clan Mother is Gives Praise. She teaches us to be grateful for all our life experiences that help us grow and live our truth. More of their stories can be found in the 13 Original Clan Mothers and Earth Medicine both by Jamie Sams.
Moon in Gemini activates the Tarot Constellation of The Lovers; Relationship and Choice. That will also be the theme for the Venus in Capricorn retrograde journey. Capricorn is also found on this Tarot Constellation. The Sun in Sagittarius activates the Tarot Constellation of the Hierophant, the principle of learning and teaching. As we learn our life lessons we become wise teachers for others.
Gemini is only found on the 2nd Ray of Divine Love and Wisdom. It is the Ray of Compassion for all. Archangels Jophiel, creative power and vision, and Constance Christine, illumination, are our guides. Sagittarius is found on the 4th Ray of Harmony Through Conflict or Beauty and Peace with Archangels Gabriel, transformation and resurrection, and Hope, renewal, guiding us. It is the Ray of humanity. Also it is active on the 5th Ray of Knowledge and Healing with Archangels Raphael, the shinning one who heals, and Mary, unconditional love. It is the Ray of current humanity. Finally Sagittarius is found on the 6th Ray of Idealism and Devotion, with Archangels Uriel, peace and love, and Aurora Grace, harmony. It is the Ray of the vegetable kingdom.
We have included insights about Solstice and the Venus in Capricorn retrograde journey in the outline below. As we said this Full Moon appears gentle on the surface. But when you look deeper you can see the wonderful healing blessings available to us all.
Happy Solstice and holiday blessings to all,
Dale

Go For It – The Power of Boldness! Heck Yeah! It's Time To Take That Next Step. :) ♥

[source: Vivid Life]
Do you consider yourself bold or someone who goes for it with passion in life? Some of us do, but most people I know and work with, myself included, admit that they don’t often think of themselves as a bold person. Or, if we’ve done or said bold things in our lives, they seem to be few and far between…and they also seem to scare us half to death. Hence, we often don’t find ourselves going for it in our work and our life – or not nearly as much as we’d like (especially these past few years).
Being bold, while scary and challenging for many of us, is essential if we’re going to live an authentic, successful, and fulfilling life. Boldness is about stepping up and stepping out onto our “edge” in life – pushing the limits of what we think is possible or appropriate. It’s about living, speaking, and acting in ways that are both courageous and true to who we really are.
Because we’re all unique, our individual versions of boldness will look quite different. Something that might be “bold” for me, may not be so for you – or vice versa. Going for it has to do with us getting in touch with our deepest truths, passions, and desires in life and then having the courage to live and act “out loud” in a way that is congruent with this.
Here are five key reminders of what it takes to be bold and go for it in life:
1) Be True to Yourself – Tell and live your truth with courage, vulnerability, and commitment. We must also remain in a constant inquiry with ourselves about who we are and what’s important to us. It’s okay and necessary in this process to admit when we’ve made a mistake, gone off course, or done something that’s out of integrity for with ourselves, as well as if we feel totally lost (which we will at times). Being true to who we are is about being ruthlessly honest and forgiving with ourselves (and with others) in a way that is both fierce and compassionate.
2) Live with Passion – Passion comes from within us, not from the external circumstances, events, activities, or people in our lives. Being bold is about going for it, not holding back, and giving ourselves fully to our work, our relationships, and our lives. To do this we must generate authentic passion, which is both a powerful emotion as well as a state of being as well.
3) Step Out – Challenge yourself to say and do things that are outside of your comfort zone and that scare you. This will force you to “step out” in your life and step in to who you really are. We often don’t think we’re “ready,” we sometimes don’t know exactly what we’re supposed to do, and we almost never have a guarantee that things will work out. So what! As Ray Bradbury famously said, “Jump, and build your wings on the way down.”
4) Lean on Others – Support, inspiration, and accountability from other people are essential along our journey of boldness and authenticity. We can’t do it all by ourselves and it’s imperative that we reach out to others who believe in us, will tell us the truth, and can help us when we get stuck. Create a “dream team” of powerful and supportive people around you with whom you can share your hopes, dreams, and ideas. And, be willing to ask for and receive their support, contribution, and generosity.
5) When You Fall Down, Get Back Up – It’s important to make peace with the fact that you will fall down, probably a lot, if you’re really going for it and playing big in life. How we respond to falling down is what truly makes the difference in our lives. When we make a commitment to ourselves to get back up, dust ourselves off, be real about how we feel and what happened, and not let it stop us from being who we are and going for what we want – we tap into what true power, boldness, and authenticity are all about!

Dear Friends,
Full moon is Tuesday, December 17 at 2:28AM MST (Mountain Standard Time). You may wish to celebrate it the night of Monday, December 16. Use this full moon to expand your sense of what could be. The time between this full moon and the Winter Solstice should be honored and quality time should be carved out to do what brings you joy. What brings you joy? What feeds you spiritually? What do you still need to adjust and revise and modify? What do you need to let go of? What needs expansion and more inspiration? Ask these questions and then go for it!
The energy definitely shifts as we approach the Full Moon and then the Winter Solstice (on the 21). You may feel jerked around by things seeming one way today and upside down tomorrow. This is a time of sudden adjustments often made by others but affecting you. There will be many lessons around attachments to how you think things ought to be and how you think people ought to behave. It is important to keep asking the questions, to keep focused on your own truth and on what you want and to stay out of negativity and judgment. Make the adjustments and move on.
Blessings,
Lena
Gemini Full Moon

It's All About Change
Gemini Full Moon energizes all our connecting capacities. We communicate with greater clarity; we network and activate our connections and light up our neural networks. Our perceptions shift easily - what was struggle, becomes ease, what was lack, becomes fulfilled. Info gathering will heighten, and we reach out to tweak the web of all our relations to strengthen the lines. Gemini's symbol, The Twins, rules the arms, the hands, the lungs, shoulders and the all-connecting nervous system network while emphasizing duality, polarity, the mind, and perception. Gemini/Sagittarius is the continuum of perception and beliefs, of information and understanding. It's where the mental parts of our selves seek stimulation and through our expanded experience we form our beliefs. Full Moon says time to shake up your perceptions, welcome in something new, and question the beliefs that are holding you in a too tight, no longer relevant reality with feet in another century.
The Gemini Full Moon opposes the Sagittarian Sun; Mercury, Gemini's ruler, travels with the Sun lifting our mental energies to a higher frequency. Gemini is how we think, speak, write, communicate, how we gather and share information, but Sagittarius, also a sign of learning, is thought of as 'higher mind' and represents our beliefs. Being able to call upon a vision of our best possible life, situation, outcome, etc....is a gift of this Full Moon (make it an inclusive, cooperative heart-centered vision, and you're making the best possible use of Jupiter in Cancer that rules Sagittarius). This mutable air/fire combo in positive, enthusiastic signs brings a welcome updraft of creative energy into our lives. Fan the flames on your curiosity and exploration of some new horizon. We're more adaptable, versatile, broad-minded, motivated, hopeful and full of trust with this influence.
Uranus moves direct just after Full Moon. We've been gestating all matter of changes in the last five months in our lives, experiencing sudden, unexpected loss, shifts, and realignments, but now Uranian energies launch us forward as the New Year begins. Some aspect of you is embracing change. Uranus in Aries gives us courage to step up to something new, explore and take a risk for a bigger more fulfilling life. We've dug deep through the period of fall Scorpio eclipses and exact Pluto/Uranus square and we are leaner, more connected to Spirit, and now ready to hold more light. As Uranus picks up speed in the new year, we will be resonant to personal change, right action, questioning authority, and creative problem solving - problems can appear to solve themselves when we open to the high frequency creativity that Uranus represents. Lean into it.
Sagittarius' fiery inspiration and vision leads the Sun to its powerful point of Solstice. The extremes of the Sun's movement relative to Earth are celebrated in cultures ancient and modern around the globe at the Solstice points - Winter Solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere/Summer Solstice for the Southern Hemisphere. Longest night for the Northern Hemisphere/longest day for the Southern Hemisphere. In the north, the Sun now turns on December 21 and slowly begins to regain power and increase life-giving light. Ritual ceremony of candles, drumming, singing, gifting and story telling are shared to show gratitude to the Sun for its abundance and generosity and to ensure the return of light. While in the southern latitudes, gratitude for the abundance, fertility, and pleasures at the fullness of Summer is marked as the Sun slowly begins to wane in strength. On Solstice day, Venus, our feminine archetype now so beautifully the evening star, begins her retrograde period where she will move closer to the Sun's light and 'disappear' and move underground before she reemerges as the morning star in mid-January. A feminine time of mystery is upon us affecting relationships, what has worth to us, aesthetics and our desire nature! Retrograde gives her an extended four months time in Capricorn so we can make practical and real all that is stirred and brought forward in the time of mystery.
Post Solstice until the end of the year should be an interesting time. Mars has moved into Libra on December 7 where it will be for six months instead of six weeks. Mars as well as the Sun both in cardinal signs will begin to align and challenge the Pluto/Uranus square. A challenge or crisis can move us forward as much or more than a windfall of grace. Mars, the God of War, brings an assertive nature and instinctual action; Mars exactly opposes Uranus on Dec 25 and squares Pluto on Dec 30. The Sun will square Uranus on Dec 29 and conjunct Pluto on Jan 1st - New Moon, and square Mars on Jan 2. We will need to be in good balance to weather this influence. Our need for balance, fairness and harmony (Libra) may feel compelled by Mars to be more self assertive and create some boundaries. Those holding to old paradigms may be particularly triggered. We may be treated to old-school sword rattling and line drawing in the news. Most of us are experienced enough in the challenges of change and evolution and will be not be attracting negative influences but instead harnessing these energies for movement, change and transformation. Mars is preparing us for the coming Grand Square in April 2014 in cardinal signs (Aries, Libra. Cancer, Capricorn). Don't let pressure build up. Get active, use your body. The Moon will bring some helpful and mitigating influence to Uranus, Mars and Pluto so stay aware of your feeling center staying aligned to your inner voice.
Heads up! New Moon in Capricorn is on New Year's Day just hours after midnight. A wonderful influence to begin a new year with powerful new intentions.
Blessings on Us All!

Full Moon in Gemini – December 17th, 2013 Get ready, get ready get ready! and hang on. Enjoy the ride...♥

[source: Celestial Space]
OVERVIEW: The Full Moon in Gemini occurs at 26 degrees on December 17th, 2013. The few days leading up to this full moon phase will be interesting as transiting Uranus in Aries at 8 degrees moves into Direct motion (outward expression). This particular full moon will not be boring and will have an unpredictable vibe along with it. What was stuck may suddenly begin to move or shift. If emotions are clogged, they may surface and flow. Allow this. Be with it as loving as possible with your self and others.
Within the lunar cycle in astrology, the Full moon phase symbolizes illumination of something that has been in the shadows or within the dim corners of the subconscious and it comes into awareness. Though there may be waves of emotions since this phase in the lunar cycle suggests high tide within the emotional level.
The Sun and Moon are in opposing signs. The Sun is in Sagittarius ‘opposition’ to Moon in Gemini, this suggests the potential to find harmony with the truth and be flexible with additional information and feelings. It will help to check facts before making assumptions and jumping to conclusions and reacting. With the Full Moon in Gemini, there may be an emotional restlessness or anxiety that is felt for things are not moving as fast as one thinks they should. Accept things as they are in the here and now and that puts you in touch with a different future.
The potential of the Full Moon in Gemini is to become aware of where you are engaging in dualistic thought, emotions and behaviors on auto-pilot. This may be generating a lot of mental stress and tension plus sending out mixed signals to others and the Universe. This illumination under the symbolic rays of the Full Moon in Gemini is helpful indeed, for then you have many more options towards changing things towards what is healthy and loving.
Those on “auto-pilot” may be extra chatty (Gemini) or spew verbal and emotional pent-up, undigested “garbled stuff.” No one wants to hear useless chatter from within the mind and emotions. Process your issues away from Social Media, you do not need to broadcast (Sagittarius) every fragment of thought or speck of emotion. The Full Moon in Gemini suggests inquiring about how you feel, what’s going on emotionally and then be objective in understanding the insight and wisdom from within the issue or situation. And this can be done in the space of self-reflection and meditation. Then share your insights on a broader scale.
Bolt of Lighting Brings Awareness
Also happening today, transiting Uranus in Aries at 8 degrees now in Direct motion. This suggests powerfully direct energy for progress, innovation, change and creating new paths within Consciousness, technology, projects and life itself. There is no room for procrastination, nor for excuses. Uranus in Aries symbolizes taking bold action, having confidence and courage to address things and issues as well as being spontaneous and being free individually and on a collective level.
Join Me Down The Rabbit Hole...
This is an 8 minute video clip taken from the movie, "What the Bleep Do We Know". Someone put together a compilation of different segments leading us all to a higher level of understanding and consciousness. Why are we here? Time and space? Enjoy!
"How can any man or woman sin against such a Greatness of mind. How can any one little carbon unit on earth in the back waters, indeed the milky way, the boondocks, betray God Almighty. That is impossible. The height of arrogance is the height of control of those who create God in their own image." ~ From What the Bleep Do We KnowI can only show you the door... YOU are the one that has to walk through it...
FREE your mind! Expand your level of awareness. Make an effort to remove the limitations that have been placed on you throughout your lifetime. We are finite beings living in an infinite Universe. Dare to step outside of the box of conventionality. You can only grow as a person if you choose to explore outside of your comfort zone and overcome your fears one at a time.
Fear, hate, and discrimination are forms of oppression and bondage. These emotions are what limit our evolution as human beings. They are forms of very low frequency. Meaning negative energy. These emotions subtract from your growth potential.
Our behavior is domesticated and our thinking is conditioned from birth. The authority figures I speak of and who influence us throughout our lifetimes are our parents, family, friends, teachers, community and government. All with the intent to maintain a standard. But who set the standard and which one is correct? Do we dare question the status quo?
Why don't you start first by talking directly to God. There is NO formal way for you to talk to Him. Just talk to Him in private just as you would another person. Trust me, you will start getting ALL of the answers you seek. Then God will reveal to you His standard and NOT the standards that have been set forth by MAN!
There have been several teachers throughout the history of man sent from up above to guide us to re-discover our Higher Self. However, it IS our responsibility to make that effort and re-connect 'WAKE UP' to the Source of our Being, our Existence. God = LOVE, Truth and Light
You have to wonder why HISTORY keeps repeating itself ?!?! People in positions of power will always use our weaknesses and our fears to manipulate, control and destroy the fabric of our Being! We keep looking to authority figures for answers, still unaware that the answers we seek, the TRUTH, lay dormant within ourselves.
Darkness can NOT exist where there IS Light
The Secret To You... ♥
Save this video clip and use it to EMPOWER yourself daily! Begin your day by reading these declarations out loud. In effect, you are saying to the Universe I AM!
We must first learn to love, respect and value ourselves before we can love, respect and value others. Thereby being able to give to others unconditionally. It starts from the inside out.
Sure the current state of affairs may be in turmoil. However, you can choose to be at cause instead of effect. You can decide NOT to become a victim of your circumstances. But to see this as a challenge for you to overcome! You MUST be determined to not let the negative forces that surround you have control over you. Don't let the dark forces steal your peace and your joy! Don't let the outside World dictate who you are or how you feel! Get to know yourself and strenghten your resolve. You are a unique and authentic person as God created you to be! Do NOT let anybody make you feel ashamed of who YOU are!!!
FEAR IS your greatest enemy and FEAR is a form of Oppression. People are taught to substitute fear for reason. DO NOT allow fear to seep into your spirit. CHOOSE to be happy and find peace in the midst of the storm no matter what. Try smiling even if you don't feel like it, listen to music that inspires you, watch a movie that inspires you or better yet, say out loud "I choose to BE happy". Watch and see how doing these things quickly changes how you feel. Surround yourself with positive forces!
The seeds of discouragement can not take root in a grateful heart. What are you grateful for today?
The Secret of The Universe!
This is a 4 minute beautiful calming video that will help alleviate all of our angst and soothe our souls. God knows we need it right now. Enjoy!
You don't have to be defeated by life! Whether your situation was caused by bad choices or by forces beyond your control. Just know that you are NOT your possessions, your title or status. People place so much importance on these things that they don't realize they are in essence 'devaluing' themselves and void in spirit. There is so much more to life that is far more enriching than you can imagine!
God is ABLE to make ALL grace abound toward me; every favor and earthly blessing come to me in abundance, so that I may always and under ALL circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient! = meaning possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. [2 Corinthians 9:8 AMP] "And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others." [2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT]
That IS God's promise to YOU! God loves YOU soooo much! God is just waiting for you to invite Him in... You can start by saying, "God I need you right now." God will NEVER abandon you. He IS always faithful.
Get to know God. Spend time with God by talking to Him... God will answer you in many different ways; a song on the radio, something someone says on television, a movie, a billboard, nature, a neighbor, a friend, a book you're reading, or even in a dream in the form of a message.
You'll be able to tell the difference between a dream and a message. Because you'll remember every detail, it feels real and you never forget it. It's kind of like the experience people who have near death experience (NDE) have, only you do not die! God will also speak directly to your spirit. But you have to be receptive and be able to discern His spirit.
Give yourself strength/confidence by declaring to yourself every morning, I know that - "I AM a child of the most high God" - "I AM God's perfect creation" - "I AM a victor and NOT a victim" "I WILL to will Thy WILL Lord, show me The Way" "No Weapon formed against me shall prosper!" - "God help me become a better person."

Paul Franklin Crouch, Sr.
(March 30, 1934 – November 30, 2013)
It was Monday morning at 3:00am when I first learned that Paul Crouch passed away. I was getting ready for work and while watching TBN, they briefly flashed a Paul Crouch memoriam. I couldn't believe my eyes. This couldn't be true. I knew he was sick, but heard that he was recovering. I had to hustle to be at work by 5:30am. I worked 14 hour days on Monday and Tuesday. I took Wednesday off to rest. I needed to hear God's Word. I turned the channel to TBN and a pastor was honoring Paul Crouch and within seconds said Dr. Paul Crouch passed away on Saturday November 30th. I was floored and deeply saddened. Not only did he confirm that Paul Crouch passed away, but he went to be with the Lord on my 44th birthday. I will never forget this day.
My heart goes out to the Crouch family and all of their close TBN family of friends. I can't thank Paul and Jan Crouch enough for having the courage to follow the vision God put in their heart with complete trust in Him for all of the world to benefit from.
In early 2003, I was going through a lot of drastic changes and challenges in my life. I found myself crying out to God for help. I didn't feel comfortable going to a church. But wanted so much to hear from God. One late night in tears, God led me to the TBN channel and answered me through a message a pastor was giving. I began watching TBN regularly hungry to learn more. Just when my situation was turning around in August 2003, my cat and best friend of 13 years passed away. My heart was so broken, I cried myself to sleep every night and begged God to heal my broken heart. In September 2003 during my sleep I was literally touched by the hand of God. There I was crying out to God every night and God sent me Jesus (Yahshua) who instantly healed my broken heart with His presence. I woke up drenched in tears. I found out years later that Jesus said, "Anyone who has seen me, has seen the father." My spiritual transformational journey began that night. At that time, I was completing my senior year in college going full-time. As I look back, I know God supernaturally carried me that entire year of crazy schedules, school work, papers and exams. I hardly slept and had no social life. I finally graduated in September 2004 after 10 years of painstaking hard work. I heard a message by a pastor recently on TBN where he said, when the devil tells you "checkmate", God and all of heaven steps in front of you and says, "I don't think so." I can confirm this to be true. ♥
After I graduated, I continued to watch TBN regularly. I seriously needed to hear God's Word. My mom would come to visit on the weekends and I would be watching TBN. Within an hour of her being in my home, she would go ballistic and order me to change the channel. She couldn't stand listening to God's Word. I would tell her she was visiting my home. If she didn't like it, then she could leave. My mom would leave. Every time she would come over she would yell and scream and get really evil with me. At that point, I would just kick her out of my home. I never imposed what I was going through with her. I never told her what to believe. What I was experiencing was deeply personal. Here she was visiting my home and attacking me because she didn't like what I was watching... TBN. I stood my ground. It was my spiritual journey, not hers. God had touched me and began changing me from the inside out. I love my mom and didn't want to cut her out of my life. But knew I wasn't the one to change her. Only God could do that. So I prayed every night for her that God would touch her too.
I think it was about not until 2006 after my dearly beloved grandmother had passed away that my mom wanted to get to know God. She began to watch Joel Osteen on TBN on her own at her home. Like I said, I never imposed myself on her. I was doing my thing walking and talking with the Lord. Then out of the blue in 2010, she shocked me when she asked if I could buy tickets for us to go and see Joel Osteen in person at Dodger Stadium. I happily said yes of course. It was an exciting day for both of us. At the end of Joel Osteen's sermon he asked everyone in the audience who would like to give their life to the Lord to please stand up and say a prayer with him. I wasn't expecting anything. Suddenly my mom stood up and gave her life to the Lord that night. I cried so hard, thanked God and gave her a great big hug after she was done. We were both in tears. That was the best gift God could have given me. ♥
I shared my brief story with you to emphasize how important TBN has been to me. TBN is on 24/7 and is always there when I need a word from God. My home is my sanctuary and TBN is my virtual church.
Thank you Paul Crouch for providing an outlet for God to touch my heart and save my soul. I love you and I will deeply miss you. ♥

It's tradition for me and my mom to celebrate my birthday together at Disneyland. Here we are on Main Street when the park opened at 8:00am. As you can see, I still need to go buy my Mickey ears.
Here we are in front of Disneyland's Frontierland Rivers of America. You can see Mark Twain's Riverboat and the raft that takes you to Tom Sawyer Island in the background. And it was great to see Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes out and about. Oh and I finally talked my mom into wearing Mickey ears! First time ever. This was a BIG DEAL lol ;)
Here I am showing off my Mickey ears in silhouette in front of It's a Small World lit up so beautifully for the Christmas season. :)
We scored a super sweet spot on Main Street to watch "Believe... In Holiday Magic" fireworks show. Love this show, it always brings me to tears. I took this picture at the end of Believe fireworks show. It was such a breathtaking sight. We had one hour left. So we ended the night riding Space Mountain again which is always 10x faster at night than first thing in the morning. We had a total blast! It always is a magical experience. :)
We were there from 8:00am until they closed at 11:00pm.
