SYRIA: Government Has MURDERED/Tortured 256 Children! Assad Has MURDERED Over 3,500 Unarmed Innocent Civilians JUST For Speaking Up Against Him! >:/

MADMAN Bashar Assad has MURDERED over 3,500 of his own people in Syria this year alone!!! He's had his military shoot them in the street, shoot them looking out of the window of their homes. 1000's more have been captured and held as political prisoners! 100's more have been killed trying to escape to neighboring countries. These are the people who are standing up and protesting UNARMED against his dictatorship!

To put things in perspective, approximately a dozen or so opposition protesters are MURDERED daily in Syria! Sh*t America isn't perfect and I know we have our problems here. But heck we have it made compared to the rest of the world where people are murdered in cold blood and imprisoned by their government just for speaking out. Chew on that for a while. So many of you take for granted what we have here in the United States.

BEIRUT (AP) -- A U.N. investigation concluded Monday that Syrian forces committed crimes against humanity by killing and torturing hundreds of children, including a 2-year-old girl reportedly shot to death so she wouldn't grow up to be a demonstrator.

The inquiry added to mounting international pressure on President Bashar Assad, a day after the Arab League approved sweeping sanctions to push his embattled regime to end the violence. Syria's foreign minister called the Arab move "a declaration of economic war" and warned of retaliation.

The report by a U.N. Human Rights Council panel found that at least 256 children were killed by government forces between mid-March and early November, some of them tortured to death.

"Torture was applied equally to adults and children," said the assessment, released in Geneva. "Numerous testimonies indicated that boys were subjected to sexual torture in places of detention in front of adult men."

The U.N. defines a child as anyone under the age of 18. The report was compiled by a panel of independent experts who were not allowed into Syria. However, the commission interviewed 223 victims and witnesses, including defectors from Syria's military and security forces.

The panel said government forces were given "shoot to kill" orders to crush demonstrations. Some troops "shot indiscriminately at unarmed protesters," while snipers targeted others in the upper body or head, it said.

It quoted one former soldier who said he decided to defect after witnessing an officer shoot a 2-year-old girl in Latakia, then claim he killed her so she wouldn't grow up to be a demonstrator.

The list of alleged crimes committed by Syrian forces "include murder, torture, rape and other forms of sexual violence," said the panel's chairman, Paulo Sergio Pinheiro, a Brazilian professor. "We have a very solid body of evidence."

At least 3,500 people have been killed since March in Syria, according to the U.N. - the bloodiest regime response against the Arab Spring protests sweeping the Middle East. Deaths in Egypt, Tunisia and Yemen have numbered in the hundreds; while Libya's toll is unknown and likely higher, the conflict there differs from Syria's because it descended into outright civil war between two armed sides.

The U.N. investigation is the latest in a growing wave of international measures pressuring Damascus to end its crackdown, and comes on the heels of sweeping sanctions approved Sunday by the Arab League.

Syrian officials did not comment directly on the U.N. findings. However, the regime reacted sharply to the Arab sanctions, betraying a deep concern over the economic impact and warning that Syria could strike back.

Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem called the Arab League action "a declaration of economic war" and said Syria had withdrawn 95 percent of its assets in Arab countries.

Economy Minister Mohammed Nidal al-Shaar said "sources of foreign currency would be affected" by the sanctions, reflecting concerns that Arab investment in Syria will fall off and transfers from Syrians living in other Arab countries will drop.

Al-Moallem said Syria had means to retaliate.

"Sanctions are a two-way street," he warned in a televised news conference.

"We don't want to threaten anyone, but we will defend the interests of our people," he added, suggesting Syria might use its position as a geographical keystone in the heart of the Middle East to disrupt trade between Arab countries.

Chaos in Syria could send unsettling ripples across the region.

Syria borders five countries with whom it shares religious and ethnic minorities. As they struggled with ways to respond to Assad's brutal crackdown, world leaders have been all too aware of the country's web of allegiances, which extend to Lebanon's powerful Hezbollah movement and Iran's Shiite theocracy.

The latest sanctions include cutting off transactions with Syria's central bank, and are expected to squeeze an ailing economy that already is under sanctions by the U.S. and the European Union. The net effect of the Arab sanctions could deal a crippling blow to Syria's economy.

"We've always said that global sanctions, without Arab sanctions, will not be as effective," said Said Hirsh, Mideast economist with Capital Economics in London.

Some 60 percent of Syria's exports go to Arab countries, and analysts concede the sanctions' effectiveness will hinge largely on whether Arab countries enforce them.

Iraq and Lebanon, which abstained from the Arab League vote, may continue to be markets for Syrian goods, in defiance of the sanctions. Syria shares long borders with both countries and moving goods in and out would be easy.

Still, there is no question the uprising is eviscerating Syria's economy. Hirsh said forecasts indicate it will contract by 5 percent this year and could shrink by another 10 percent in 2012 if sanctions are enforced and the Assad regime stays in power.

The economic troubles threaten the business community and prosperous merchant classes that are key to propping up the regime. An influential bloc, the business leaders have long traded political freedoms for economic privileges.

The opposition has tried to rally these largely silent, but hugely important, sectors of society. But Assad's opponents have failed so far to galvanize support in Damascus and Aleppo - the two economic centers in Syria.

The Arab sanctions, however, could chip away at their resolve.

Since the revolt began, the Assad regime has blamed the bloodshed on terrorists acting out a foreign conspiracy to divide and undermine Syria. Until recently, most deaths appeared to be caused by security forces firing on mainly peaceful protests. But lately, there have been growing reports of army defectors and armed civilians fighting Assad's forces - a development that some say plays into the regime's hands by giving government troops a pretext to crack down with overwhelming force.

The Assad regime has responded to the street protests by sheer brutal force while at the same time announcing reforms largely dismissed by the opposition as too little too late.

On Monday, a spokesman for a committee tasked with drawing up a new constitution said it would recommend the abolishment of Article 8 which states that the ruling Baath Party is the leader of the state and society.

The article's abolishment was once a key demand of the protest movement. However, such overtures are now unlikely to satisfy opposition leaders who say they will accept nothing more than the downfall of the regime.

EGYPT: Voting Continues After BIG Turnout On Day One Of First Election After Hosni Mubarak Ruled Egypt For Almost 30 YEARS! EXCITING Time!

I would like to say that I'm tired of hearing people, celebrities, the media and Bill Clinton compare US Occupiers to Egypt et al. Egypt is FIGHTING for what we already have! Egyptian people are FIGHTING, PROTESTING and losing their lives to have a political system like ours in the U.S. and being under a dictatorship for almost 30 years. Therefore, it's silly for Occupiers in the United States to mimic their strife.

How much do you want to bet most of these Occupy protesters in the United States have NEVER voted in their entire lives or voted only once. Oh and puhlease stop comparing yourselves to Gandhi. He was standing up against the British OCCUPIERS! and was not disrupting other peoples lives or creating chaos making his statement!

A second day of voting is taking place in Egypt in the first elections since President Hosni Mubarak was overthrown, with indications of a high turnout in Cairo and other big cities.

The first day of polling for a new parliament was mainly peaceful.

Voting was extended by two hours to cope with long queues and few security problems were reported.

Many protesters occupying Cairo's Tahrir Square have boycotted the vote. [They want change, but don't want to be part of the process. They are shouting in the streets and now here is their chance to say with their vote who they want to represent them. So all of those protesters died in vain? (emphasis mine)]

There had been fears the vote might be delayed after deadly protests against the interim military rulers who replaced Mr Mubarak.

The protesters fear the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces led by Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, which is overseeing the transition to democracy after decades of authoritarian rule, is trying to retain power.

At least 41 demonstrators have been killed and more than 2,000 wounded in the past 10 days, as tensions have flared in the Arab world's most populous state.

Free expression

The BBC's Kevin Connolly in Cairo says most parties seem to agree that Egypt is on course for a record turnout.

This is an indication, our correspondent says, of the pent-up appetite for democracy - allowed free expression at last.

Monday saw long queues form outside polling stations in Cairo before the polls opened and in places queues were said to have stretched up to 3km (two miles).

"We must take part, we must vote, even if we stand here for five hours, so that Egypt can go forward," voter Hoda Abdel Hamid, 43, told Reuters news agency.

"I am voting for the future of my children," she said as she queued in Cairo's Shubra district.

"We were surprised that people turned out to vote in large numbers, thank God," Abdel Moez Ibrahim, who heads the High Judicial Elections Commission (HJEC), told reporters.

Officials blamed a delay to the voting in some Cairo constituencies on the late arrival of ballot papers and a shortage of ink and administrative officers.

Some judges observing the process got lost on their way to polling stations.

State-run TV reported that 25 people were injured in election-related violence.

But monitors reported no major violence or irregularities.

In Assiut, in the south, the army said it had regained control after a shooting incident. Officials denied reports that voters there had attacked polling stations.

There have also been reports that in Cairo and Port Said, candidates' numbers on voting cards had been changed.

Leftist candidate Al-Badry Farghali, in Port Said, told the BBC this had happened to him and another candidate, George Ishaq, a well-known activist.

'Positive'

Independent US observers said there was a high turnout on Monday, with no violence or irregularities.

Rockets Fired From Lebanon Into Israel, No Casualties

Several rockets fired from southern Lebanon landed in Israel overnight, but there were no casualties, Israel's army announced in a statement early Tuesday.

After the rockets landed in the western Galilee region, the Israeli army retaliated, striking the area from where they had been launched, the army said, without offering further specifics.

"The Israeli army considers that it is a serious incident and believes that it is the responsibility of the Lebanese government and the Lebanese army to avoid this kind of attacks," the statement added.

Four rockets landed in Israel, according to a report on Israeli public radio. One caused minor damage, while another landed in a populated area but failed to explode.

Local military commanders were assessing the situation but people in northern Israel, where the rockets landed, had not been told to go to air raid shelters, said an army spokesman.

GERMANY: Incest Over 34 YEARS: Father Charged With 497 Counts Of Rape!!! This Monster MAY Get ONLY 15 Years If Convicted! WTH? That's NOT ENOUGH TIME!

Tuesday November 29, 2011

A German pensioner accused of raping his daughter repeatedly over a 34-year-period and fathering three children with her has gone on trial.

The now 69-year-old defendant, Adolf Bergbauer, admitted sex with his daughter in testimony before the court in Nuremberg on Monday but denied charges of rape. He said she consented. [And not once did this monster ever "think" that it was WRONG to have sex with his daughter? (emphasis mine)]

Bergbauer has been charged with 497 counts of rape. Suspected cases earlier than 1991 have now passed the statute of limitations and are too old to consider.

He denied the prosecution charges he started to rape his daughter when she was 12. The first sexual contact took place when she was 17, he said. "She was a willing participant," he insisted. [Of course this monster is going to deny everything. (emphasis mine)]

"I did not undress her myself," added Bergbauer, who is illiterate and used to work as an occasional labourer. He said they had consensual sex about twice a week.

However, according to prosecutors, the daughter, now aged 46, said he raped her in her parents' bedroom, in her own room and later in the woods in the back of his car.

She also said he forced her into sex at knife-point, which Bergbauer strenuously denied. "Never in my life have I done that," he said.

The daughter's lawyer, Andrea Kuehne, said her client was "shocked and furious" at Bergbauer's statement that the sex was consensual.

"My client would never have pressed charges if she had felt that way," said the lawyer.

Of the three sons born as a result, two died and the other is handicapped.

The man faces up to 15 years behind bars if convicted. [NOT ENOUGH TIME! (emphasis mine)]

An alcoholic Saudi husband returned home on the first day of Eid Al Adha, ripped his wife’s clothes and lashed her many times in front of her five little sons.

Doctors said she suffered from severe injuries on the back, hands and face.

The unnamed wife said her husband tortured her without any reason and that he had beaten her up in front of their children many times since they married 12 years ago. She said she had asked for divorce but her plea was rejected.

“Over the past 12 years, I and my children have been subject to regular beating by my alcoholic husband… I have been to court to ask for divorce but he judge rejected my plea on the grounds the children need their father,” the Saudi woman said, quoted by the Arabic language daily 'Alsaudi'.

In a report from the northwestern town of Tabuk, it said the wife’s sister informed the police about the lashing but did not make clear if the husband was arrested.

Hundreds Of Thousands Of Somalis At Risk Of STARVATION As al-Shabaab Islamic Militants BAN Western Aid Workers!!! >:/

The Telegraph UK
written by Mike Pflanz
Monday November 28, 2011

Somalia's al-Qaeda-linked Islamists on Monday banned 16 Western aid agencies from central Somalia, claiming they were "fostering secularism" and were "amplifying the refugee crisis".

Armed and masked men forced their way into the organisations' offices in the towns of Baidoa and Wajid and began removing computer equipment, files and supplies, witnesses reported.

Most United Nations organisations working in Somalia were on a list published by al-Shabaab's 'Office for Supervising the Affairs of Foreign Agencies'.

"Our office in Baidoa was taken over at 730am and all of our staff were ordered to go home," said Iman Morooka, spokesman for Unicef's mission to Somalia.

"They are all safe. It is not clear to us yet why this has happened, and why now, and we are working to understand all the details."

It was unclear for how long the ban would last, but aid workers fear that help to hundreds of thousands of Somalis, many suffering the effects of famine, would be at risk.

"You can't tell if this is one commander acting unilaterally, or a proper edict sent down from al-Shabaab's bosses," said one senior aid worker in Nairobi, the Kenyan capital where many organisations working on Somalia are based.

"But the fact is right now, everything's stopped. We're looking at what we can do in the next few days, then we'll assess longer-term strategies. It could be a real mess."

Aid agencies were "working with international bodies to foster secularism, immorality and the degrading values of democracy in an Islamic country", according to the al-Shabaab statement.

They were "financing, aiding and abetting subversive groups seeking to destroy the basic tenets of Islamic penal system" and "undermining the livelihoods and cultural values of the population", it continued.

It even claimed that the agencies – all Western – were making Somalia's refugee situation worse by "failing to implement durable solutions".

Al-Shabaab has been blamed for deepening the effects of four failed rainy seasons for the millions of Somalis who live in its territory, through taxes, forced recruitment and refusing foreign aid deliveries.

The banned agencies included Unicef, the World Health Organisation, the UN refugee agency UNHCR, Norwegian Church Aid, the Danish Refugee Council Concern and others from Sweden, Italy, Germany and France.

More than 250,000 people in Somalia are still at risk of imminent starvation, the UN said late last week.

Kenya Reports Eritrea To UN Security Council Asking For Investigations Into Eritrea’s Links With Al-Shabaab, Somalia Islamic Militia Group!

Daily Nation
written by Patrick Mayoyo
Sunday November 27, 2011

Kenya has filed a case at the United Nations Security Council asking for investigations into Eritrea’s links with Al-Shabaab terror group.

Kenya’s Permanent Representative at the UN Macharia Kamau filed the case days after the Eritrean Foreign minister Osman Saleh wrote to the council, calling for independent investigations into Kenya’s claims that his country was funding Islamic militants in Somalia.

Eritrea wants Kenya reprimanded for “serious and harmful accusations,” including claims that Asmara recently supplied three planeloads of arms to Al-Shabaab through Baidoa airport.

“Our ambassador in New York has also filed a case before the Security Council’s Sanctions Committee to undertake investigations on what we believe Eritrea is doing in Somalia,” Foreign Affairs spokesman Lindsay Kiptines said on Sunday.

Kenya recently asked the council to support its operation in Somalia by deploying African Union troops to areas taken from Al-Shabaab.

Kenya is also seeking a naval blockade of Kismayu, the port Al-Shabaab derives much of its revenue from.

The British Government has officially endorsed Kenya’s military operation in Somalia as have many other countries.

The Inter-governmental Authority on Development, the regional grouping, has made similar allegations against Eritrea.

In Somalia, two youths were on Sunday beheaded in Afmadow by militants for allegedly spying for the Transitional Federal Government and Kenya Defence Forces.

Residents said their heads were displayed in the streets in an attempt to frighten locals from cooperating with the transitional government or Kenyan troops.

In Laikipia, Internal Security minister George Saitoti said the Kenya Defence Forces would only quit Somalia after the militants were defeated.

“They made our lives miserable by their actions of kidnapping tourists and killing them. They even conducted terror attacks within our boundaries. That is unacceptable as the government has a duty to defend its people at whatever cost,” he said.

On Friday, Ethiopia accused Eritrea of using the Security Council to deflect attention from its links to militants in Somalia.

East African leaders who met under the umbrella of IGAD in Addis Ababa to discuss the military operation in Somalia also called for sanctions against Eritrea.

“Eritrea must clearly and publicly commit herself to immediately stop all of these activities and present a credible plan and timeline to implement this change in policy. The aim [of taking Kenya to Security Council] appears to be dividing the supporters of sanctions and some possibility to avoid their tightening. Given the unanimity of the IGAD over the sanctions, it seems rather naive to think that any such strategy might work,” Ethiopia’s foreign ministry said on Friday.

Ethiopia and Eritrea are bitter rivals and have fought a border war.

Terrorist groups

Eritrea’s ambassador to Kenya Beyane Russom blamed his country’s woes on Ethiopia. He claimed Ethiopia’s past operations in Somalia had revived dormant terrorist groups.

“We have never armed any group in Somalia. We want peace and stability in Somalia,” Mr Beyane said.

IGAD wants Eritrea to take radical measures, including supporting the military operation against the Al-Shabaab as a sign of good faith.

Meanwhile, Kenya will contribute troops to the African Union Mission in Somalia if the mandate is changed to reflect the situation on the ground.

“We would be submitting the request to the Security Council and to the AU. We will also request support for more troops and the Transitional Federal Government to ensure that normalcy returns to Somalia,” Mr Kiptiness said.

Kenya is also reaching out to Arab countries to support its operations in Somalia.

President Kibaki was recently in the United Arab Emirate where the leadership endorsed the war on terror.

“We are also looking for moral support to Arab states supporting TFG, especially Turkey,” Kiptiness said.

Iranian Cleric Welcomed The MURDER Of Rafig Tagi, An Azerbaijani Writer And Journalist Who Had Insulted The Prophet Mohammed! WOW!

Azeri Report
written by
Monday November 28, 2011

BAKU: The Iranian Ayatollah Sheikh Mohammed Fazel Lankarani welcomed the murder of the Azerbaijani writer and journalist Rafig Tagi. This sensational news appeared on the sheikh’s website in the morning hours of November 28.

The statement called the murder an execution and just sentence of Rafig Tagi, who he described as an apostate. The ayatollah congratulated the Azerbaijani people with Rafig Tagi’s murder and expressed joy that "the hand of God appeared among the Muslims and sent to hell the wicked man, who had insulted the Prophet."

"Without a doubt, the man, who performed the sentence and pleased the Muslims, will receive a great gift from the Almighty. Let the enemies of Islam know that decent young people will not allow anyone to humiliate Islam’s holy values and realize the intrigues of world imperialism and Zionism, and will punish those who betray their religion for their shameful acts.

I congratulate the Muslim world and, above all, the people of Azerbaijan and the memory of Ayatollah Uzma Lankarani - the man, who issued a death fatwa (sentence) on the ungodly," the statement said.

Mohammed Jawad is the son of Ayatollah Lankarani. The fatwa was issued in 2006, when Rafig Tagi published his article “Europe and Us” criticizing the Prophet Muhammad.

The attack on Tagi was committed on the evening of November 19, when an unknown man stabbed him seven times. On November 23 the 61-year-old journalist died in hospital.

Today’s announcement could have serious consequences for the Azerbaijani-Iranian relations, as it might be an official confirmation that the order for the assassination came from Tehran.

In addition, it could indicate the presence of Iranian agents in Azerbaijan, who are ready to carry out assassinations and other crimes. It is noteworthy that after the assassination of Rafig Tagi, the Iranian Embassy in Baku dissociated itself from the crime. Official Baku has not commented on the statement (Turan).

Hamas Leader Briefs Sudan’s President (Islamic Dictator) Omar al-Bashir On Palestinian Reconciliation! BIRDS Of A Feather FLOCK TOGETHER!

Sudan Tribune

Sunday November 21, 2011

KHARTOUM) – The leader of Hamas’ politburo Khalid Mish’al arrived Saturday in the Sudanese capital Khartoum where he held talks president Al-Bashir and briefed him on the progress of Palestinian reconciliation talks in Cairo, Egypt.

Mish’al also met during his two-day visit with vice-president Ali Osman Mohamed Taha and presidential assistant Nafe Ali Nafe. In a press release following his talks, Mish’al lauded Sudan’s continuous support for the Palestinian cause as well as Khartoum’s efforts to bridge the gap between Palestinian rivals.

Prior to his visit to Khartoum, Hamas chief was in the Egyptian capital Cairo where he held a meeting on Thursday with Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas, the Fatah party chief widely known as Abu Mazen, and discussed the implementation of Cairo deal brokered by Egypt to end Palestinian rift.

Mish’al briefed president Al-Bahsir during their meeting on Saturday’s evening about latest Arab and Palestinian developments. Hamas chief also appraised the Sudanese leader on the outcome of his meeting with Abu Mazen.

Hamas chief and his accompanied officials also discussed with Sudan’s presidential assistant Nafe Ali Nafe the latest developments in the region in the light of the “Arab Spring” revolutions. Mish’al said in press statements following his meeting with Nafe that he had briefed the latter on Cairo agreement which, according to Mish’al, reflected “Palestinian strength and unity”

For his part, president Al-Bashir described Cairo agreement as a true achievement demonstrating the strong willpower of the Palestinian leadership.

Kenyan Court Issues Arrest Order For Sudan's Omar al-Bashir!!! WooHoo!!! FINALLY An African Nation Standing Up Against This MONSTER Who SLAUGHTERED, RAPED, MAIMED, DISPLACED Over 1 MILLION African Natives For Refusing To Convert To Islam!

Reuters Africa

Monday November 28, 2011

NAIROBI/KHARTOUM - A Kenyan court on Monday ordered the government to arrest Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir, wanted by The Hague on genocide charges, prompting Sudan to order the expulsion of Kenya's ambassador and summon its own envoy from Nairobi.

Kenya was heavily criticised by the International Criminal Court (ICC) and foreign governments for failing to arrest Bashir when he attended a ceremony to enact a new Kenyan constitution in August last year.

The African Union has told its members not to heed the arrest warrant for Bashir - linked to his government's crackdown on rebels in Sudan's Darfur region - saying the ICC appeared to be singling out African leaders.

However, as an ICC member state, Kenya is obliged to cooperate with the court and its arrest warrants.

The Kenyan court ordered Bashir's arrest after the Kenyan chapter of the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) filed a suit against the country's attorney general and the internal security minister, seeking a new arrest warrant for the Sudanese leader.

Judge Nicholas Ombija said in his ruling that Bashir should be apprehended "should he set foot in Kenya in future".

In response, Sudan gave Kenya's ambassador in Khartoum 72 hours to leave the country and summoned its own ambassador from Nairobi, Sudan's foreign ministry spokesman El-Obeid Morawah told Reuters.

"Sudan has informed the ambassador of Kenya in Khartoum of a 72-hour deadline to leave the country," he said, adding the decision came "on the back of the Kenyan court's issuance of the ruling to detain Bashir."

Sudan's foreign ministry had earlier dismissed the ruling as politically motivated, and said it would not affect the country's relations with Kenya.

It had said the decision had was linked to Kenya's domestic disputes and relations with the ICC more than with the situation in Sudan.

The ministry had added that it believed activists upset over the ICC's "failures" to apprehend suspects and over Bashir's successful visits abroad had pushed the court into making a "political decision".

ICC judges reported Kenya to the United Nations Security Council for failing to arrest Bashir.

The Hague-based court has issued two warrants for Bashir, one dating from March 2009 listing five counts of crimes against humanity and two counts of war crimes, and one issued in July 2010, listing three counts of genocide.

The ICC has no police force and relies on member states to enforce its arrest warrants.

Bashir denies the charges, saying they are part of a Western conspiracy.

The African Union says another reason for its opposition to the ICC indictment of Bashir is the negative impact on Sudan's peace process, at a time of sensitive negotiations between Sudan and South Sudan, which seceded in July.

Courage is admitting that you're afraid and facing that fear directly. It's being strong enough to ask for help and humble enough to accept it.

Courage is standing up for what you believe in without worrying about the opinions of others. It's following your own heart, living your own life, and settling for nothing less than the best for yourself.

Courage is daring to take a first step, a big leap, or a different path. It's attempting to do something that no one has done before and all others thought impossible.

Courage is keeping heart in the face of disappointment and looking at defeat not as an end but as a new beginning. It's believing that things will ultimately get better even as they get worse.

Courage is being responsible for your own actions and admitting your own mistakes without placing blame on others. It's relying not on others for your success, but on your own skills and efforts.

Courage is refusing to quit even when you're intimidated by impossibility. It's choosing a goal, sticking with it, and finding solutions to the problems.

Courage is thinking big, aiming high, and shooting far. It's taking a dream and doing anything, risking everything, and stopping at nothing to it make it a reality.

Melody Of Love ~ Classic Club Mix

I have always LOVED the Queen of Disco! I grew up listening to her music since I was child. This song starts off slow for the 1st minute, then picks up to a great dance tune with AWESOME lyrics! Let this music permeate every fiber of your BEING! ♥

I hope you're having a GREAT weekend! Always remember to not sweat the small stuff. What is the small stuff you ask? EVERYTHING! Life is good. Enjoy the ride... :)

Melody of LOVE ~ by Donna Summer

I always
Stayed away from love
Afraid of what might
Might happen
Till I thought
I heard a sound above
Singing through my very
Own heart
Was a melody
I never heard
Like birds singing loud
To the sky

Never dreamed that
True love would help me
Find my way
Didn't know how deep I'd fallen
Until you rescued, rescued me
Suddenly
Strings began
I heard the melody again and again
The sound of music
Flowing through my head
So rare
I'm walking on air

Melody of love
Sing that song for me yeah
I want to hear somebody sing
Melody of love
Oh take me away

One lonely night
You up and danced into my dreams
Baby you set my heart on fire
So I've been burning
Burning ever since yeah
Suddenly
Strings began
I heard the melody again and again
The sounds of trumpets
Flowing through my head
So rare I'm walking on air

Melody of love
Sing that song for me yeah
I want to hear somebody sing
Melody of love
Oh take me away
Melody of love
Oh set me free yeah
I want to hear somebody sing
Melody of love
Oh take me away

Oh melody
Oh melody
I can really feel it
You can feel it too
Oh melody
Oh melody

Melody of love
Sing that song for me yeah
I want to hear somebody sing
Melody of love
Oh take me away
Melody of love
Oh set me free yeah
I want to hear somebody sing
Melody of love
Oh take me away

Fable of the Porcupine! Awwwwwe.... I LOVE THIS STORY!!! Thanks For Sharing This With Me John!

Fable of the Porcupine

It was the coldest winter ever. Many animals died because of the cold. The porcupines, realizing the situation, decided to group together to keep warm. This way they covered and protected themselves; but the quills of each one wounded their closest companions. After awhile, they decided to distance themselves one from the other and they began to die, alone and frozen. So they had to make a choice: either accept the quills of their companions or disappear from the Earth. Wisely, they decided to go back to being together. They learned to live with the little wounds caused by the close relationship with their companions in order to receive the warmth that came from the others. This way they were able to survive.

Moral of the story: The best relationship is not the one that brings together perfect people, but when each individual learns to live with the imperfections of others and can admire the other person's good qualities.

The real moral of the story... LEARN TO LIVE WITH THE PRICKS IN YOUR LIFE.

"Love isn't finding a perfect person.
It's seeing an imperfect person perfectly.”
~ by Sam Keen

You Are An Eternal Being... ♥

"You are an eternal being
now on the pathway of endless unfoldment,
never less but always more yourself.
Life is not static.
It is forever dynamic, forever creating
- not something done and finished,
but something alive, awake and aware.
There is something within you
that sings the song of eternity.
Listen to it."

Never Surrender

Never Surrender
poem written by W.A.Simmons

I'll not let you beat me, there's nothing you can do.
No force could be imposed on me, that would see me succomb to you.
No obstacle you throw at me, will block my path for long.
I'll simply find another way, my desires are far too strong.
No winds could blow me hard enough, to drive me off my course.
Your's could never hope to match, that of my driving force.
Nor waves or raging torrents, you might muster, will ever sweep.
From this path I've chosen, or all it is I seek.
So to you, I welcome your challenges, each one you may throw.
They only serve to strenghten me and with everyone, I'll grow.

Steps To Happiness... ♥

Steps To Happiness
poem written by Father Pat

Everybody Knows:
You can't be all things to all people.
You can't do all things at once.
You can't do all things equally well.
You can't do all things better than everyone else.
Your humanity is showing just like everyone else's.

So:

You have to find out who you are, and be that.
You have to decide what comes first, and do that.
You have to discover your strengths, and use them.
You have to learn not to compete with others,
Because no one else is in the contest of *being you*.

Then:

You will have learned to accept your own uniqueness.
You will have learned to set priorities and make decisions.
You will have learned to live with your limitations.
You will have learned to give yourself the respect that is due.
And you'll be a most vital mortal.

Dare To Believe:

That you are a wonderful, unique person.
That you are a once-in-all-history event.
That it's more than a right, it's your duty, to be who you are.
That life is not a problem to solve, but a gift to cherish.
And we'll be able to stay one up on what used to get us.

May God Bless you and keep you safe.

Joy Is An Attitude... ♥

"Joy is an attitude; it is the presence of love
- for self and others.
It comes from a feeling of inner peace,
the ability to give and receive,
and appreciation of the self and others.
It is a state of gratitude and compassion,
a feeling of connection to your higher self."

Are You Profound? How Can You Tell When Someone Really Isn't Profound?

‎"Those who know that they are profound strive for clarity. Those who would like to seem profound to the crowd strive for obscurity. For the crowd believes that if it cannot see to the bottom of something it must be profound. It is so timid and dislikes going into the water."
~ by Friedrich Nietzche

Grammar Despair: Do I Say "Him and Me" or "He and I"?

I just came across this great piece that I really enjoyed reading and I want to share with you for fun. Because learning should be fun. ;)

The Norwegian Artist: Norwegian Musings and Polish Thoughts
written by Carolyn Henderson, manager of Steve Henderson Fine Art
January 4, 2011

My mother was one of 11 children of two first-generation Polish farmworking immigrants. In order to attend high school, she worked as a live-in maid. She attended community college while working as one of the nation's first female airline registration agents in the 1940s. That's as far as her formal education went.

Ah, but her informal education kept her up until 1 or 2 a.m., reading a book and looking up EVERY SINGLE word she didn't know. My father commented that it took her several months to finish a volume. She, however, knew the meaning of the word "matutinal," while my father, a PhD in microbiology, did not.

She also had an incredible grasp of English grammar, something she hammered into the heads of her children whether we listened or not. And face it -- whether or not you're listening, and children frequently are not -- over 18 years of hearing, "I and He are in the nominative case, whereas Me and Him are in the accusative," something trickles through.

So, do you say, "Me and him went to the movies," or "He and I went to the movies," or "Him and I went to the movies," or "He and me went to the movies"?

In other words, do you use the nominative case (He and I) or the accusative case (Him and Me)?

Firstly, relax. You are not my mother's daughter. It's okay to drop off the nominative and accusative part.

While you're at it, drop off the He or Him, and see what you have left.

It's like this: Do you say, "I want to go to the movies," or "Me wants to go to the movies"?

I'm guessing that all of the non-Neanderthals out there use the first phrase.

Let's move on: Do you say, "He wants to go to the movies," or "Him wants to go to the movies"?

Yup: "He wants to go to the movies."

So, if both you and Bob want to go to the movies, you'll say, "He and I want to go to the movies."

(Yes, it is also correct to say, "I and he want to go to the movies," but it sounds uber, uber grammatically fanatically correct, sort of like something my mother would say.)

Okay, let's move on to another sentence:

"This gift basket is for her/she and me/I."

Oh God. Help.

Stop. Breathe. Get rid of one of the people, probably the girl since you're more important.

Do you say, "This gift basket is for I," or "This gift basket is for me"?

It's for me, of course!

And do I share this basket with her or she?

"This gift basket is, unfortunately, also for her, which means that I only get half of the items in it. I'll take the chocolate-coated macadamia nuts."

Putting it all together, you'll then say, "This gift basket is for me and her," or "This gift basket is for her and me," the latter which sounds a bit smoother to my ears.

That's it. There aren't many magical formulas out there, but this one is as close as it gets. Even non-professional writers have to write -- Artist Statements, Artist Biographies, press releases, and resumes are a part of every professional artist's life -- and it's good to be confident that what you're writing resonates well with the Queen and her English.

Oh, and by the way, "Matutinal" means having to do with morningtime, as in, "She performed her matutinal ablutions," something that sounds wildly erotic but is really my mother's way of saying, "She put on her make-up."

So, did "She and I put on our make-up," or "Her and Me put on our make-up"?

Twilight Zone Marathon On KTLA Channel 5 WooHoo!!! :D

FYI Twilight Zone lovers! I just discovered that KTLA channel 5 is having a Twilight Zone marathon today! WooHoo! I am in Twilight Zone HEAVEN. :D

I have shared part 1 of my top four favorite episodes: To Serve Man, The Obsolete Man, Time Enough at Last and The Masks. Although, I have say that ALL of the Twilight Zone episodes are AMAZING and sublime! Rod Serling was a prophetic storytelling/writing genius! I would also like to point out that the acting was SUPERB! They had GREAT producers and directors! It's like they all shared the same vision. :D

Alive, A Poem

Alive

Today is alive
with a breath not my own.
It comes to me now,
even me,
even now.
As a gift,
it comes,
this life that I breathe.
As a gift,
it comes
not from me
and I live.

Out of love,
out of love,
has the Giver breathed life.
This gift, this life,
is now mine,
even mine.
Who am I,
to have life?
Who am I?
I am loved.

Love brings me life
from the One Who gives all.
This gift has no price
it is free, just of grace.
From the Best,
life flows down,
now for me.
I am blessed.

I give thanks,
simple thanks,
in the face of my debt.
I lift praise
to the Giver of life.
For in thanks of this love,
I can breathe.
I can live.

More Than A Day
written by Karl Fuchs

As Thanksgiving Day rolls around,
It brings up some facts, quite profound.
We may think that we're poor,
Feel like bums, insecure,
But in truth, our riches astound.

We have friends and family we love;
We have guidance from heaven above.
We have so much more
Than they sell in a store,
We're wealthy, when push comes to shove.

So add up your blessings, I say;
Make Thanksgiving last more than a day.
Enjoy what you've got;
Realize it's a lot,
And you'll make all your cares go away.

Thanksgiving Delights
written by Joanna Fuchs

On Thanksgiving Day we’re thankful for
Our blessings all year through,
For family we dearly love,
For good friends, old and new.

For sun to light and warm our days,
For stars that glow at night,
For trees of green and skies of blue,
And puffy clouds of white.

We’re grateful for our eyes that see
The beauty all around,
For arms to hug, and legs to walk,
And ears to hear each sound.

The list of all we’re grateful for
Would fill a great big book;
Our thankful hearts find new delights
Everywhere we look!

Thanksgiving Day Humor!

Happy Thanksgiving Day Everybody!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Day everybody! May your day be filled with tons of love, joy and laughter! Look around you and you will find many many things to be thankful for... the most basic is thanking God for the mere fact you wake up every day and have been blessed with the gift of LIFE.

I would like to publicly thank God first and foremost for loving me unconditionally, for never giving up on me, for always believing in me and for taking care of all of my needs. I also thank God for blessing me with a great mom, great meow's, great friends, great neighbors, a creative mind, a free spirit and a loving heart. I can't forget to thank all of my readers from all around the world for all of your love and support. You are greatly appreciated. ♥♥♥

This may be a national holiday for giving thanks, a day of reflecting. Nevertheless, we must make it a point to give thanks to God every day of our lives for even the most basic needs fullfilled daily. Here are a few examples of what we could be thankful for daily: a roof over our head, a warm comfy bed to sleep in, clean running water, a toilet that flushes, electricity, a refrigerator to store food, a stove to cook, a microwave, a television, a radio, a computer, the internet, a phone to communicate with others, paved roads, traffic lights, the kindness of others, smiles, laughter, music, entertainment, the Twilight Zone... you get the picture don't you? We can get really deep if you want and we can thank God for our sight, our hearing, our sense of smell, our sense of taste, our sense of touch. Thank Him that we are in good health or how about thanking God for giving us another day to enjoy. ♥
