Perhaps the group most closely associated with the name illuminati was a short-lived movement of republican free thought founded on May Day 1776 by Adam Weishaupt, professor of canon law at Ingolstadt and a former Jesuit. The members of this secret society called themselves “Perfectibilists.” Their founder’s aim was to replace Christianity with a religion of reason, as later did the revolutionaries of France and the 19th-century positivist philosopher Auguste Comte. The order was organized along Jesuit lines and kept internal discipline and a system of mutual surveillance based on that model. Its members pledged obedience to their superiors and were divided into three main classes: the first included “novices,” “minervals,” and “lesser illuminati”; the second consisted of freemasons (“ordinary,” “Scottish,” and “Scottish knights”); and the third or “mystery” class comprised two grades of “priest” and “regent” as well as “magus” and “king.”
Beginning with a narrow circle of disciples carefully selected from among his own students, Weishaupt gradually extended his recruitment efforts from Ingolstadt to Eichstätt, Freising, Munich, and elsewhere, with special attention being given to the enlistment of young men of wealth, rank, and social importance. From 1778 onward Weishaupt’s illuminati began to make contact with various Masonic lodges, where, under the impulse of Adolf Franz Friedrich, Freiherr von Knigge, one of their chief converts, they often managed to gain a commanding position, It was to Knigge that the society was indebted for the extremely elaborate constitution (never, however, actually realized) as well as its internal communication system. Each member of the order had given him a special name, generally classical, by which he alone was addressed in official writing (Weishaupt was referred to as Spartacus while Knigge was Philo). All internal correspondence was conducted in cipher, and to increase the mystification, towns and provinces were invested with new and altogether arbitrary designations.
At its period of greatest development, Weishaupt’s “Bavarian Illuminati” included in its operations a very wide area, extending from Italy to Denmark and from Warsaw to Paris; at no time, however, do its numbers appear to have exceeded 2,000. The order and its doctrines appealed to literary giants such as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Johann Gottfried von Herder as well as the dukes Ernest II of Gotha and Charles Augustus of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach. Such notables were claimed as members although it is questionable if they were actually so. Weishaupt’s illuminati were believed to have included astronomer Johann Bode, writer and bookseller Friedrich Nicolai, philosopher Friedrich Jacobi, and poet Friedrich Leopold, Graf zu Stolberg-Stolberg.
Secret societies of this kind fitted in with the idea of benevolent despotism as a vehicle for the Enlightenment, as Goethe shows in Wilhelm Meister’s Apprenticeship. The movement suffered from internal dissension and was ultimately banned by an edict of the Bavarian government in 1785. Some members were imprisoned, while others were driven from their homes. Weishaupt was stripped of his chair at Ingolstadt and banished from Bavaria. After 1785 the historical record contains no further activities of Weishaupt’s illuminati, but the order figured prominently in conspiracy theories for centuries after its disbanding. It was credited with activities ranging from the instigation of the French Revolution to the assassination of U.S. Pres. John F. Kennedy, and the notion of an all-knowing cabal of ancient masters remained a powerful image in the popular consciousness into the 21st century.

After the suppression of Weishaupt’s order, the title illuminati was given to the French Martinists, founded in 1754 by Martinez Pasqualis and propagated by Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin. By 1790 Martinism had been spread to Russia by Johann Georg Schwarz and Nikolay Novikov. Both strains of “illuminated” Martinism included elements of Kabbalism and Christian mysticism, imbibing ideas from Jakob Böhme and Emanuel Swedenborg.

Most people who believe in resurrection have no idea what this concept entails. It is in fact the product of Jewish Messianic theory which says that a Jewish priest-king will one day establish an earthly paradise and all the righteous Jews who died before the establishment of "the Kingdom" will be raised from the dead to enjoy the rewards of remaining faithful to Jehovah. Since they are coming back to this earth, they need their body back i.e. they need to undergo bodily resurrection.
The problem with the Messianic theory of the soul is that it is incompatible with the God theory of the soul that talks of an immaterial heaven and immaterial soul. What possible meaning could physical resurrection have in a non-physical afterlife?

FYI for those of you who don't know, like this "enlightened man", the Jevhovah's Witnesses do not believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and therefore do not believe in the holy trinity. From Christianity.com: "Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus is not equal with God. They teach that Jesus was created by God and not coexistent with Him." and moreover, "Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe the Holy Spirit is equal with the Father." However, Jesus Christ is Emmanuel which means God with us. In John 1:14, "The Word (Jesus Christ) was made flesh and lived among us." and the Holy Spirit is the breath of God. And in John 1:1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God." (emphasis mine)
The Jehovah's Witnesses claim that 144,000 souls will enjoy an immaterial existence in heaven with God, while the rest of the Jehovah's Witnesses will have to settle for a material terrestrial paradise. This reveals the extent to which radically different views of the soul have been combined in crazy combinations.
The Jehovah's Witnesses also claim that all non Witnesses will be annihilated. How is it possible for an immortal soul to cease to exist?

Allen and Abraham's book also asserts that secret societies have advanced the conspiracy. Nevertheless, Adam Weishaupt is implicated in the general conspiracy: "It should be noted that the originator of this type of secret society was Adam Weishaupt, the monster who founded the Order of Illuminati on May 1, 1776, for the purpose of conspiracy to control the world. This caught my attention what I highlighted above, so I had to go look it up. According to World History Encyclopedia: The Reign of Terror, or simply the Terror (la Terreur), was a climactic period of state-sanctioned violence during the French Revolution (1789-99), which saw the public executions and mass killings of thousands of counter-revolutionary 'suspects' between September 1793 and July 1794. The Terror was organized by the twelve-man Committee of Public Safety, which exercised almost dictatorial control over France.

There's a good chance that if you're viewing the Amazon.com page for "Under The Sign Of The Scorpion", you are already an adherent of the "Conspiratorial View" of history; i.e. you already believe in a very powerful coalition that pursues a New World Order in stealth. So then, why do you need to read this book? Isn't it just going to tell you things you already know? Is it so predictable you might actually be bored with it, electrifying as the subject matter is? I'll explain why this book is beneficial:
First, "Under The Sign Of The Scorpion" corrects a huge historical oversight by recognizing that Soviet Communism does not begin with Karl Marx but instead with Adam Weishaupt, the lawyer, ex-Jesuit and professor of philosophy who founded the historic Order Of The Illuminati in Bavaria on the 1st of May, 1776. Weishaupt's goal in founding his society was to establish a one-world government opposed to private property, monarchical government, religion, nationalism and the nuclear family, ideas Karl Marx would appropriate 70 years later. This book is aware that Communism is a species of Illuminism.
Second, this is a HISTORY book in the truest sense of the word. The author, Juri Lina, manages to describe a large number of events from all walks of human activity over hundreds of years in telling this story. It's difficult to write a book that possesses both depth and breadth, yet Lina manages it. Even better, the book is fast-paced and flows smoothly.
Third, much of the information in this book comes not from secondhand dealers, but from primary sources: the conspirators own writings and documents obtained from various archives, including newly opened Soviet archives. So, even if you already know this sad tale, Lina's use of primary sources adds certainty to his version.
"Under The Sign Of The Scorpion" is an exciting read, which takes us through the early days of the Illuminati, how it spread its influence across Europe by gaining command of Masonic lodges, how it used violence, deceit and blackmail to achieve its aims, the role it played in creating the sadistic Jacobin Revolution in France and how it strove to conquer the entire world. According to Lina, many Communist leaders and philosophers were also Freemasons, which explains why the Jacobin and Bolshevik revolutions were so similar. There are biographical sections on Marx, Lenin and Trotsky, a catalog of the Soviet Union's decades-long labyrinth of murder and repression, and an expose of the European Union, the current preferred method of Illuminists to achieve their globalist goals, since the structure of Communism was revealed to be derelict, crude and too openly brutal. Unsurprisingly, there is a tremendous Jewish extremist presence at the Illuminist-Communist core, including such complementary groups as the Rothschild financial dynasty, the Satanic Frankists and the political Zionists. [Zionists practice Judaic Kabbalah Esoteric Mysticism and worship Lucifer. (emphasis mine)]
The facts that I found most interesting are: a drawing of the Illuminati's hierarchical structure published in one of their own books, that Mozart and Schiller were both privy to the Illuminati's treacheries and used their artwork to preach against its influence, that the decision to assassinate Tsar Nicholas II and his family originated not with Sverdlov but with Jacob Schiff, and how Jews in Estonia (the author's home country) enthusiastically became part of the Soviet murder machine in 1940, despite the kindness and tolerance the ethnic Estonians showed them.
Occasionally, Lina makes careless mistakes. He claims that "three World Wars" (WWI, WWII, Mideast War) were planned as early as 1871 by the Confederate military general and Freemason Albert Pike in a letter to Gieuseppe Mazzini. Lina claims the text of this letter appears on pg. 186 of "La Palladisme" by Domenico Margiotta (1895), yet when this book was examined, there was no "Three World Wars" letter published inside it. The closest thing were some anti-Catholic statements. Lina also mixes together the stories of the Old Testament Israelites and the Talmudic Pharisees, as if they were the same group (the review written by "Latimer The Cat" on March 29, 2008 corrects this problem).
Another problem with this book is Lina's disparaging attitude towards Christianity. In the book's first chapter, he rants against Christianity for its "bloody history". He scoffs at the idea that Christianity should be judged by its teachings and not by the sometimes lacking behavior of self-proclaimed Christians, but gives no justification for opposing this idea. He tells us (citing Paul Davies and quantum mechanics) that theism has been rendered false by modern science but doesn't mention two of the biggest 20th century discoveries that place the evidence firmly in the Christian's favor: the Big Bang (Georges Lemaitre) and the Venus Approach (Immanuel Velikovsky). Lina, a Buddhist, tells us that Buddhism has a pacifistic history, a deeply incorrect claim, typical of naive Westerners who romanticize Eastern religions. Thankfully, this moronic and inappropriate section can be skipped over with no loss, as it has little relation to the rest of the book.
I enjoyed "Under The Sign Of The Scorpion" despite these imperfections. It is a great introduction and overview for people who are unfamiliar with conspiratorial history and Lina does a good job of listing his citations so you can cross-check them and see if he quoted them accurately, essential for a controversial subject. NOTE: for those who would reject this book as a poor investment because of its immense price, the entire text of the book can be read on the internet in PDF form if you search for it.

George Bernard Shaw was one of the left's most revered figures and the only person to win both an Oscar and a Nobel prize.
In this clip Snore documents three points that many viewers find disturbing:
1. Shaw was a vocal supporter of Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini
2. Shaw supported mass killing of the unproductive
3. Shaw advocated creating a Zyklon-B type gas to allow more "humane" mass killing
The historical record for these claims is clear, but many posters dispute the second point by stating (without support) that Shaw was being sarcastic or even joking. Unfortunately, this is clearly not the case as is obvious from reading Shaw's writings and public comments in the broad context of the time they were written.
When Shaw's controversial statements on eugenics were reported in the media, he did not dispute them or claim that the quotes were taken out of context.

Sharing this because I thought the Bavarian connection was interesting. A snippid of Adolf Eichmann's Bio: Member of the Austrian Nazi party in 1932, he immigrated to Bavaria in July 1933. In September 1934, he joined the SD (security police). In 1935, he took the lead of the Office for Jewish Affairs in Berlin. In September 1937, Eichmann flew to Palestine with Hagen in order to negotiate the Jewish emigration. Shortly after he came back, he took over the Jewish Affairs in Vienna (department IV of the security police). Within 18 months, he became expert in Jewish forced emigration. The year 1938 was crucial for Eichmann: the strong Jewish emigration started then and grew rapidly because of the Anschluss (annexation of Austria). In 1939, Eichmann replaced Müller as Head of the Office of Jewish Affairs (IVB4) in Berlin. On July 26, 1939, he opened an office in Prague. In December 1939, he became responsible of the Office for Jewish Emigration to the East. On February 13, 1940, he organized a forced emigration of the Stettin Jews, of which 230 were killed during the operation. In 1941, Eichmann recommended to use Zyklon B in Auschwitz. At this time, the extermination of Jews had not yet started.
The Narrator: Zyclon-B was a humane gas, yes, Eichmann will use the very same words. It must be said that Bernard Shaw as well as the Left in general fundamentally opposed Nazism because Hitler had distorted Marxism beyond recognition.
