BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Officials with the Baton Rouge Police Department are investigating after a shooting left multiple people hurt in Baton Rouge Sunday, April 10.

Mike Chustz with EMS confirmed multiple people were shot in the 2700 block of Lorraine Street, not far from Plank Road, just before 1 p.m. Sunday.

One person is reportedly in critical condition.

Over on Government Street, BRPD officers are investigating a second shooting scene near the intersection of Camelia Avenue.

According to first responders, a unit was flagged down by someone who was shot.

BRPD confirmed the four victims across the two scenes are linked to the same incident.

There is no word on a possible suspect or motive at this time.

BATON ROUGE, La. - Officials with the Baton Rouge Police Department said they are investigating a deadly shooting on Wednesday, April 6.

Authorities said they were called out to the scene on Willow Street, which is located off North 23rd Street between Jefferson Avenue and Fuqua Street, shortly before 2:45 p.m.

Witnesses on the scene said the victim was found dead inside a car in the middle of the street.

According to officials, 25-year-old Garry Camel was found inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Camel died at the scene from his injuries.

A second occupant in the vehicle was a 20-year-old male who had no injuries.

Authorities believe the gunshots were fired from a passing vehicle.
