USA: Commie California Governor Newsom Signed 2 Bills That Help Children Get Gender-Changing Operations And Abortions WITHOUT Parental Knowledge Or Consent. Plus Other Bills He Signed

California Gov. Gavin Newsom outrageously signed two bills on Wednesday that help children get gender-changing operations and abortions without parental knowledge or consent.

“California has been a leader in protecting access to sexual and reproductive rights, but as we’ve seen recently with unprecedented attacks on these rights, we can and must do more,” Newsom proclaimed in his statement.

“I applaud the establishment of the California Future of Abortion Council and look forward to its important work to advance our state’s leadership on this vital issue. I’m proud today to sign these two bills that demonstrate our dedication to strengthening and further protecting access to reproductive health care services in California,” he declared.

Bill AB 1356 will create new offenses that will charge those who record or photograph patients or providers within 100 feet of the entrance to a reproductive health services facility with a crime. The other bill, AB 1184, ostensibly keeps patient information confidential for those who are not the primary policyholder for their health insurance. That includes children. Services kept confidential include “reproductive health care and gender-affirming care,” according to Newsom’s statement.

AB-1184 blocks health insurers from requiring authorization from a child’s parent(s) to get a procedure. The bill makes it illegal for any communications, information, or receipts to be divulged to the parents unless the child gives their authorization beforehand.

The governor made a point of saying in his statement that the two bills come after Texas enacted their “fetal heartbeat” law that bans abortions after six weeks of pregnancy. He vowed that California would “remain a haven for all Californians, and for those coming from out-of-state seeking reproductive health services here.”

“These are dark days. I don’t think one can understate the consequential nature of the moment that we are living in,” Newsom asserted according to Fox News. “It becomes of outsized importance that California assert itself.”

The nine Republican members of the California Senate adamantly opposed bill AB 1184 and sent a letter to the governor urging him to veto it. He summarily ignored them.

“We should be encouraging parents and family to be involved in their children’s lives, not removing them further from it. This bill, in an effort to further hide information from parents and caregivers, would put policyholders in the impossible position of being financially responsible for bills they did not incur and cannot verify as being legitimate. Additionally, it further limits parents’ abilities to protect their children by removing them from sensitive conversations as early as 12 years old. Parents have a right to be involved in sensitive medical decisions for their young children,” stated the letter.

Jonathan Keller, who is the president of the California Family Council, stated that the newly signed bill should have distinguished between a 25-year-old on their parent’s healthcare plan and a 12-year-old.

“Parents should be consulted before their minor children are given life-altering medical treatment,” Keller stated. “It’s deeply concerning that the Legislature and the governor continue to usurp parental authority.”

Newsom’s reproductive law is set to go into force in July of 2022.

Since beating candidate Larry Elder in the recall election, Newsom evidently now feels empowered to pretty much sign into law whatever he sees fit whether Californians approve or not. He also just signed a $15 billion climate change, wildfire package into law and Assembly Bill 701 that bars mega-retailers such as Amazon from firing warehouse workers for missing quotas.
