USA: The Texas Supreme Court Has Ruled That Houston Cannot Send Unsolicited Mail Ballot Applications To 2 Million Voters For November’s Election. Another Blow For Democrat Fraudsters.

AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Supreme Court ruled Wednesday that 2 million Houston voters cannot receive unsolicited mail ballot applications from local elections officials who are dramatically expanding ways to vote in November in the nation’s third-largest county, a key battleground in Texas.

The decision by the all-Republican court is the latest defeat in a string of losses for Democrats whose efforts to change Texas voting laws during the coronavirus pandemic have largely failed.

Polls show unusually tight races this year in America’s biggest red state, intensifying battles over voting access. Texas is one of just five states not allowing widespread mail-in voting this year. Republican Gov. Greg Abbott has resisted calls to expand eligibility and courts have sided with GOP leaders who say fear of catching COVID-19 doesn’t qualify voters for mail-in ballots.

Abbott also continues facing lawsuits, including one filed Wednesday by the Texas NAACP, over his decision last week that barred Texas’ 254 counties from operating more than one drop-off box for absentee ballots, which forced the closure of dozens of drop-off sites in Harris County and other Democratic-led counties.

Mail voting in Texas is generally limited to voters who are 65 years old or older, or who have a disability.

In the ruling, the justices sidestepped the issue of whether mail-in voting was safer in the pandemic, ruling instead that current Texas law wouldn’t allow Harris County to send mass ballot applications.

“The question before us is not whether voting by mail is good policy or not, but what policy the Legislature has enacted. It is purely a question of law,” the court wrote in its ruling.

Democrats, who believe this year’s election is their biggest opportunity in Texas in decades, slammed the decision. “Once again, the all-Republican Texas Supreme Court steps into this election against the interests of voters and a functioning democracy,” said Gilberto Hinojosa, chairman of the Texas Democratic Party.

The case is among several significant battles over voting in Texas that are still playing out in courts with four weeks until Nov. 3. An appeals court reversed a federal judge’s decision to reinstate straight-ticket voting in Texas, which Democrats had sought over concerns of voters waiting in long lines on Election Day during the pandemic, particularly in large counties that have longer ballots.

Abbott had also faced a lawsuit from within his own party over his decision to extend early voting by six days, part of an extraordinary backlash the governor has faced from the right wing of the GOP over his handling of the pandemic. In a separate order Wednesday, the Texas Supreme Court rejected that effort to scale back early voting, saying the challenge came too close to the election.

The weekslong battle over whether mail-in ballot applications can be proactively sent to every registered voter in Texas’ most populous county has not appeared to dampen interest in the option. More than 200,000 voters around Houston have already requested a mail-in ballot, roughly double the number in a typical presidential election year, said Susan Hays, an attorney for Harris County.

Houston is a stronghold for Democrats, but the surrounding county still includes GOP-held seats that are helping keep Republicans in power in Texas. Democrats are most energized by their chances of winning a majority in the Texas House for the first time in 20 years, needing to flip just nine seats to take over the chamber.

Harris County officials are implementing a $27 million plan to expand voting access by tripling the number of early voting centers — including seven that will be open 24 hours for an entire day — and adding more polling locations on Election Day. Like other cities with NBA teams, the Houston Rockets’ home arena, the Toyota Center, will also be used as a polling location.

Fresh on the heels of Monday's report detailing alleged illegal vote harvesting in Minnesota, comes news of explosive affidavits filed about even worse vote harvesting in Texas.

Combined with new reports about significant illegal voter registration, also in Texas, and another huge foul-up in a postal voting system in New York, these stories all highlight some of the dangers to democracy posed by widespread use of voting by mail and other insecure practices.

They join other stories of huge voting screw-ups in recent months, ranging from the 223,000 undeliverable ballots mailed out in this year’s primary election in Las Vegas, to the judicial race in Atlanta that may need to be voided because of double-voting and other irregularities. Meanwhile, liberal judges across the country are risking tremendous confusion and fraud by unilaterally rewriting state laws in order to force the counting of ballots that arrive after Election Day.

For all of President Trump’s over-the-top trash talking about whether he’ll abide by election results, the truth is that it’s the political Left that actually is doing things nationwide that could create conditions for reasonable people to question the legitimacy of some of this fall’s contests. Sometimes paranoia can be well rooted in elements of truth.

Let’s take today’s three new stories as examples, saving the most apparently corrupt one for last. The first Texas story involved records going back three decades showing that, on average, more than 100 illegal immigrants per year were allowed to register to vote in Harris County. If they voted in close elections, they could improperly tip the scales to the wrong winner.

That's small potatoes, though, compared to the voluminous foul-ups experienced in New York City’s attempts this year to expand use of vote-by-mail. In spring primary elections, more than 20% of all ballots had to be thrown out, and it took weeks to determine official results in some races. Some people still question whether those results were accurate. Just today comes news of continuing goofs: Large numbers of people who asked to vote by mail were sent ballots inside “official absentee envelopes” containing the names of other voters. Voters who don’t catch the mismatch could see their ballots invalidated, through no fault of their own.

As reported by the New York Times, “the printing errors appear to be widespread.” It is not known how many of the more than 500,000 mail-in-ballot applications (so far) contain the error.

Those are just the innocent mistakes that easily can plague systems that over-rely on mailed ballots. The attempts at outright fraud are even more worrisome. And fraud is exactly what is alleged by two Texas private investigators: one a former police officer and the other a former FBI agent. Their court affidavits detail what they say is a large, illegal vote-harvesting scheme run in part by Dallas Jones, Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s state political director. Jones is allegedly conducting the effort under the direction of a county commissioner and a Texas state senator.

The affidavit of former Houston Police Captain Mark Aguirre claims there are “video-taped interviews of witnesses attesting” to “widespread” fraudulent practices, including not just improperly taking advantage of nursing-home residents and forging the names of homeless people, but also voting in the name of people who are dead. The affidavit of former FBI agent Charles Marler is similar, alleging that one of the fraudsters boasted that he could harvest up to 700,000 illegal ballots.

Vote fraud is very real, and it becomes significantly easier with widespread mail-in voting. This year’s near-national embrace of that practice seriously endangers this fall’s electoral validity.

A Biden Campaign operative in Texas is attempting to rig the 2020 election with the help of others in a massive ballot harvesting scheme, according to two private investigators who testified under oath that they have “video evidence, documentation and witnesses” to prove it. With the help of mass mail-in ballots, the illegal ballot harvesting operation could harvest 700,000 ballots, one Harris County Democrat operative allegedly bragged.

The investigators—a former FBI agent and former police officer—claim that Biden’s Texas Political Director Dallas Jones and his cohorts have been “hoarding mail-in and absentee ballots” and ordering operatives to them fill out for people in Harris County illegally, “including dead people, homeless people, and nursing home residents in the 2020 presidential election,” Patrick Howley of the National File reported.

While law enforcement agencies are reportedly investigating these potential crimes, nothing will be done about it until “well after the November 3, 2020 election” the former FBI agent said.

Dallas Jones was appointed the Biden campaign’s Texas Political Director in late August.

Mark A. Aguirre and Charles F. Marler provided sworn affidavits as part of a class-action lawsuit in the Texas Supreme Court, Steven Hotze, M.D. et al., against Harris County and the state of Texas.

The National File obtained the private investigators’ affidavits.

In his testimony, Aguirre stated that he is a retired captain with the Houston Police Department and now a private investigator.

“I am currently involved in an investigation related to a wide-ranging and fraudulent ballot harvesting scheme in Harris County intended to rig the elections in the Houston/Harris County area. This scheme involves voter fraud on a massive scale,” he stated.

Based on interviews, review of documents, and other information, Aguirre identified three individuals, including a state senator and the Harris County Commissioner, who are working with Jones on the ballot harvesting operation: “District 13 Texas State Senator Borris Miles, who is the handler of Mr. Jones, political consultant Gerald Womack, and Precinct 1 Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis.” Aguire added: “One of the companies these individuals are using as a front for this operation is AB Canvassing, although there are others that have been identified that we are investigating.”

Aguirre noted that the ballot harvesters have been exploiting the elderly with the complicity of nursing home staff.
I have in my possession video-taped interviews of witnesses attesting to the aforementioned people having groups of people completing thousands of absentee and mail-in ballots, including completing ballots for deceased individuals; illegally going into nursing homes, with the complicity of the nursing home staff, and filling out and forging the signatures of nursing home residents; signing up homeless individuals to vote using the ballot harvester’s address then completing the ballot and forging the homeless individual’s signature.

This entire operation is being run by the elite politicians of the Democrat Party in Houston/Hams County. FURTHER AFFIANT SAYETH NOT.
Private investigator Charles F. Marler stated in his testimony that he formerly worked for the FBI where he was an Investigative Specialist “conducting undercover operations on espionage and terrorist targets.”

Marler stated that former Harris County Clerk Diane Troutman was so concerned about being implicated in the fraud, she resigned earlier this year, citing “personal health reasons.”
“In December of 2019, I was approached by two individuals who witnessed activity from an illegal ballot harvesting operation in Harris County. Since that date, I have been investigating the illegal ballot harvesting operation,” he testified.
During my investigation, a core group of names continued to surface regarding the organization and operation of the voter fraud scheme. Witnesses have stated to me that Precinct 1 Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis and District 13 Texas State Senator Borris Miles are leading the illegal ballot harvesting operation in Harris County, Texas. Their chief lieutenants are Houston businessman Gerald Womack and political consultant Dallas Jones who work directly under them in executing the ballot harvesting operation in Harris County, Texas.

Witnesses have shown me and described to me how the ballot harvesters take absentee ballots from the elderly in nursing homes, from the homeless, and from unsuspecting residences’ mailboxes. The ballot harvesters then complete the ballots for their preferred candidate and forge the signature of the “voter”. Two witnesses stated to me that there are two individuals employed at the Harris County Clerk’s Office who are aware of the illegal ballots and help facilitate and mask the processing of the ballots into the legal stream of ballots.

I have been made aware of a law enforcement investigation in the Spring of 2020 regarding illegal ballot harvesting. Several interviews of individuals were conducted. After the interviews became public, former Harris County Clerk Diane Troutman, resigned alleging health concerns due to COVID-19. However, witnesses have told me that Ms. Troutman was arguing with Commission Rodney Ellis about the legality of the mass purchasing and mailing of mail-in ballots and that Troutman was concerned she would be included in the eventual arrest pertaining to illegal ballot harvesting. Instead of coming forward and exposing the scheme, Ms. Troutman abruptly resigned. Witnesses have stated that Commissioner Ellis was not deterred and continued to move forward with the plan to mass mail ballots and expand the illegal ballot harvesting scam. Another witness stated to me that an employee of Commission Ellis, Tyler James, has bragged that he could guarantee that the illegal ballot harvesting operation, with the help of mass mail-in ballots, could harvest 700,000 illegal ballots.

It appears that law enforcement agencies are currently investigating these alleged crimes and I will provide them with the evidence that I have already collected and am continuing to collect. Sadly, these law enforcement agencies will be working to prosecute these crimes well after the November 3, 2020 election.
Citizen journalist Colleen Vera had previously discovered evidence of what appears to be a massive vote harvesting ring operating in the state of Texas involving mail-in voting and various Democrat political campaigns.

Vera’s evidence includes video of a Democrat campaign surrogate harvesting mail ballots from a nursing home during a 2018 primary race, and audio of a Democrat campaign worker admitting to harvesting ballots from a nursing home, and mail-in ballots from Harris County that all have the same handwriting and envelope process.

According to the National File, the ongoing private investigation is working with law enforcement.
