USA: Featured Women’s March Speaker Once Kidnapped, Raped and Tortured 62 Year-Old Gay Man to Death. 😧 MUST READ.

Convicted felon Donna Hylton, who once was a member of a group that kidnapped, raped and tortured an elderly man to the point of death, was a featured speaker at Saturday's pro-abortion and anti-Trump Women's March on Washington, according to The Daily Caller.

Yup, seriously.

As reported by The Daily Caller's Peter Hasson on Thursday night: "Hylton, along with three men and three other women, kidnapped 62-year-old real-estate broker Thomas Vigliarolo and held him for ransom, before eventually killing him. As noted in a 1995 Psychology Today article, when asked about forcibly sodomizing the victim with a three foot steel pole, one of Hylton’s accomplices replied: 'He was a homo anyway.'"

“I couldn’t believe this girl who was so intelligent and nice-looking could be so unemotional about what she was telling me she and her friends had done. They’d squeezed the victim’s testicles with a pair of pliers, beat him, burned him," said New York City Detective William Spurling, speaking of Hylton.

The felon/feminist hero apparently attempted to collect ransom money for the man after he had passed.

"Hylton delivered a ransom note to a friend of Vigliarolo’s asking for more than $400,000, even though the victim was already dead by that point. A 1985 article in The New York Times, which misspelled Donna’s last name as “Hilton,” put the ransom demand at $435,000," notes Hasson.

The feminist was eventually sentenced to 25 years in prison for her part in the vicious murder.

Other speakers at the March included actress Ashley Judd, singer Madonna, CNN contributor Vann Jones, documentarian Michael Moore and Shariah Law apologist Linda Sarsour. Judd spoke of her period blood-stained jeans and accused Trump of having "wet dreams" about his daughter Ivanka. Madonna made note of her incessant thoughts about "blowing up the White House." Sarsour once said Islamic reformer Hirsi Ali, a woman who was forced into genital mutilation, "doesn't deserve to be a [woman]."

Add in the reported murderous convict, and you have quite the stellar bunch!

It's important to note that the Women's March on Washington organizers barred a group from Texas from their anti-Trump march because they happened to be pro-life, yet you could apparently land a speaking gig there if you were a convicted felon who once kidnapped, raped and then tortured an elderly man to his death.

So, again: reportedly kill a man and you're in; oppose abortion and get booted.

Makes sense.

The Women’s March on Washington last week featured as a speaker convicted felon Donna Hylton who, along with several others, kidnapped a man and then tortured him to death.

Hylton’s name is listed on the Women’s March website alongside prominent liberals like Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards, activist Gloria Steinem, filmmaker Michael Moore and CNN commentator Van Jones.

Hylton, along with three men and three other women, kidnapped 62-year-old real-estate broker Thomas Vigliarolo and held him for ransom, before eventually killing him. As noted in a 1995 Psychology Today article, when asked about forcibly sodomizing the victim with a three foot steel pole, one of Hylton’s accomplices replied: “He was a homo anyway.”

Speaking about Hylton, New York City Detective William Spurling told Psychology Today: “I couldn’t believe this girl who was so intelligent and nice-looking could be so unemotional about what she was telling me she and her friends had done. They’d squeezed the victim’s testicles with a pair of pliers, beat him, burned him.”

According to that same article, Hylton delivered a ransom note to a friend of Vigliarolo’s asking for more than $400,000, even though the victim was already dead by that point. A 1985 article in The New York Times, which misspelled Donna’s last name as “Hilton,” put the ransom demand at $435,000. For her participation in the murder, according to Psychology Today, Hylton was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Organizers of the march, who banned pro-life women from participating, did not return The Daily Caller’s request for comment regarding Hylton’s participation as a featured speaker.

Hylton, who now works as an activist for criminal justice reform, participated in a panel last April in support of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’s failed presidential campaign.

Hylton’s participation in the Women’s March was first pointed out by conservative outlet The American Spectator.

Correction: this article originally attributed the quote from Hylton’s accomplice to Hylton.

USA: Libs Who Want To Move To Canada, Australia, Or Other Wealthy English Speaking Nations Blocked By Their Strict Immigration Policies.

The Daily Caller, USA
written by Luke Rosiak
Thursday January 26, 2017

Liberals seeking to move to Canada because they are unhappy with the election results are finding that Canada won’t take them because its immigration policies exclude those who won’t contribute to the economy.

One of the policies of President Donald Trump that has some Democrats claiming they want to jump ship is his pledge to limit immigration from people whose lives in America would be dependent on welfare. Trump promises “extreme vetting” before accepting immigrants or refugees.

But Democrats looking to move from the U.S. to Australia, Canada and other wealthy English-speaking nations are learning that those nations already have similar policies.

A top law firm known for obtaining Canadian visas for U.S. citizens says there are three main ways to get in: by having in-demand job skills, by owning a business or having a high net worth, or by having relatives already there.

Canada’s official immigration page also sets a high bar, listing opportunities to “immigrate as a skilled worker,” “immigrate by starting a business and creating jobs” or “immigrate by investing in the Canadian economy.” The website had so many visitors immediately after Trump’s win that the server crashed.

It also maintains a refugee category, but targets people who have already been displaced “outside their home country,” and not those who want to move from their home country to Canada.

Canada is willing only to be a last resort for refugees; such candidates are not eligible if they “have another durable solution for protection, such as an offer to be resettled in another country.”

Even then, the nation known for its hockey and its Maple syrup then asks individual Canadians to pick up the bill, by either voluntarily funding the program or taking refugees in to their own homes. Individuals must be “selected as a government-assisted or privately sponsored refugee, or have the funds needed to support” themselves and any dependents after they “arrive in Canada.”

Canada does have a special program for Syrian refugees and accepted 40,000 since November, 2015, about four times as many as the U.S. during the same time-span under former President Barack Obama.

As one hysterical liberal lamented on Facebook, “What are the actual implications of these Executive Douche Orders? Should I just pack my bags and move to Canada?” After researching the Canadian immigration system, the individual posted that he had determined that “ironically,” as an artist who could not afford to buy property and only rented a loft in Brooklyn, Canada had no desire in taking him in.

Immigration rules for Australia and similar nations are comparable, with strict rules focused on accepting people that are a net value-added to their economy.

Canada’s rules could be one reason Al Sharpton — who has failed to pay debts, including taxes — reneged on a promise to move there following Trump’s win. Lena Dunham also backtracked on her pledge to relocate, in spite of her assets.

INDIA: Indian Officials Set To ‘Detect-Delete-Deport’ 20 Million Illegal Muslims To Protect Indians From Radical Islamism Coming From Bangladesh Islamist Terror Hot Spot.

The Daily Caller, USA

November 27, 2016

Indian officials are registering Bangladeshi residents in the state of Assam in an apparent bid to reduce the Muslim population.

“The Hindu rate of population growth is declining. But the Muslim rate is rising. Most of the Muslims here are from Bangladesh. If this continues, the Assamese Hindus will become a minority soon — we will lose our language, our culture, our identity,” Assam’s finance minister told The Washington Post.

Assam shares a long border with Bangladesh, with much of it consisting of wetlands easily crossed by boat. The majority of the Indian Army and its border forces are positioned hundreds of miles away on the Pakistani border, particularly clustered over the disputed territory of Kashmir.

The registration and deportation effort is known as “detect-delete-deport.” Indian officials are now concerned that Bangladeshi Islamic terrorist organizations, like the Islamic State, can infiltrate India by posing as illegal immigrants. Officials say detecting illegal immigrants from Bangladesh will be exceedingly difficult, as some have false identity papers and have even voted.

A jihadist attack on a restaurant popular with foreigners may force the government to change its strategy.

THE Holey Artisan Bakery, an upscale café and restaurant overlooking a placid lake in Dhaka, was a foodie’s labour of love in a verdant corner of the chaotic capital. It offered French croissants and Manhattan-style brunches. But on the evening of July 1st, at the start of the Eid holiday week that marks the end of Ramadan, it turned into a place of terror. After Bangladeshi commandos recaptured the restaurant the following day, the scene might have been drawn from the Vietnam war—with shredded tropical greenery, armoured vehicles and 28 dead bodies, many of them expatriates.

The gang of about seven attackers, armed with semi-automatic rifles and improvised grenades, stormed past the flimsily guarded gates and fought off an initial attempt by security forces to storm the restaurant. In the course of a 12-hour siege they slit the throats of anyone who could not recite verses from the Koran. At one table were eight Japanese customers, some of who were consultants for the Japanese overseas aid organisation. Only one is thought to have made it out alive. At another table Italian garment entrepreneurs suffered a similar fate. The Islamic State (IS) claimed responsibility and posted horrifying images of the dead during the siege.

It was the most shocking attack in a wave of Islamist violence that before this weekend had claimed the lives of around 50 people since 2013: non-Muslims, local bloggers and assorted non-conformists. The Bangladeshi authorities rounded up 14,000 people in a week last month, but the mass arrests did not prevent the latest atrocity.

It is still unclear which local organisation was involved. All eyes will turn to the Jamaatul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). Formed by veterans of the Afghan war against the Soviet Union in the 1980s, it made a name for itself as a thuggish militia in northwest Bangladesh that terrorised leftists and bullied women into wearing the veil. It carried out a spate of ineffectual, but widespread bombings in 2005 and appears more recently to have allied itself with IS.

In public the Bangladeshi government refuses to accept that IS has taken root in the country. According to diplomatic sources, though, the government had privately conceded that IS had some form of presence in the country. In the days before the assault on Holey Bakery security had been heightened around parts of Dhaka; churches were warned to be vigilant.

Opponents of the government blame the drift to authoritarianism by Bangladesh’s ruling party, the Awami League for provoking the Islamist backlash. It has overseen the blanket repression of opposition parties and other dissenters. The government prefers to blame the opposition—hence its reluctance to admit to the presence of IS. The carnage at the Holey Bakery should force a rethink of strategy.

20 million illegal immigrants from Bangladesh may be deported from Assam after they are tagged on a registry.

"The Hindu rate of population growth is declining. But the Muslim rate is rising. Most of the Muslims here are from Bangladesh. If this continues, the Assamese Hindus will become a minority soon; we will lose our language, our culture, our identity," Himanta Biswa Sarma, finance minister in the Assam government told the Washington Post.

Apart from preserving cultural identity, it is the most immediate fears of terrorist groups from Bangladesh, a nation known to shelter radical Islamism.

"Our detect-delete-deport campaign is even more important because now Islamic extremist groups from Bangladesh are also sending their people to India along with the immigrants on this route," said Samujjal Bhattacharya, a longtime activist.

It is hard, however, to track the Bangladeshi population here. Many have managed to get local identification papers via forged documents. To counter this, officials are looking not only into individuals but also their family trees, in a $138 million project.

Illegal immigration is by far the biggest issue in the Assam primarily because sneaking into Assam from Bangladesh is fairly easy. The size of the Brahmaputra varies through the year, making it almost impossible to fence the border. Thus, a large part of the district is unfenced, making it easy for illegal migrants along the border to sneak into Assam.

In February, BJP national president Amit Shah had said that the party's victory would stop illegal immigrants' entry into the state. The party would go on to win the state.

"The Narendra Modi government has done an agreement with Bangladesh and soon the borders with Bangladesh will be fenced. Already this government has started identifying illegal immigrants; around 60,000 such illegal immigrants are identified," he had said.

In June this year, The National Register of Citizens (NRC) investigation has found that there are 27,000 illegal immigrants in Dhubri (one of the district's in Assam) alone.

As per sources, it was found out that it was ridiculously easy for a foreign national to acquire Indian citizenship by submitting fake documents or by paying as little as Rs. 10,000 to acquire one. Prabajan Virodhi Manch (PVM), an NGO against the infiltration of migrants, is of the view that the Assam government was not doing its bit to tackle the illegal migration issue from Bangladesh. The PVM has urged the Centre to intervene while alleging that documents are fraudulently being acquired by immigrants in Assam for including their names in the updated National Register of Citizenship (NRC).

"There is large-scale fabrication of documents, birth certificates, identity proof, land documents etc which needs to be uncovered by a central agency as such papers will be the basis for asking citizenship," PVM Convenor Upamanyu Hazarika told reporters

There have been at least 25 murders of religious minorities and free speech activists since 2015.

Many of those who died were political bloggers who actively opposed religious and Muslim beliefs.

Of those attacks more than a dozen have been claimed by Islamic State.

On April 23 2016, Rezaul Karim Siddique, a professor of English at the University of Rajshahi, was hacked to death at a bus stop. Police suspect "an Islamist militant group" was behind the horrific attack.

He was headed to the university campus about 125 miles northwest of Dhaka, Bangladesh, when two attackers on a motorcycle slit the "peaceful" professor's throat and hacked him to death, Rajshahi city police chief Mohammad Shamsuddin told reporters, quoting witnesses.

"Professor Rezaul was killed in a similar fashion as the killings of bloggers," Shamsuddin said, adding he was a peaceful person and had no enemies.

Liberal blogger Nazimuddin Samad was killed on April 6, 2016 after militants attacked him with a machete and shot him to death in public for his criticism of Islam.

amad was a law student at Jagannath University and blogger who was killed by radical Islamists in Dhaka for his promotion of secularism in Bangladesh.

The 28-year-old was said to be an organiser behind the Ganajagran Manch, a secular campaigning group.

Police said that three attackers on a motorcycle hacked at him at a traffic junction and then shot him, The Dhaka Tribune reported at the time.

Faisal Arefin Dipan was hacked to death in Dhaka on October 31 2015 in his office, the same day three others were attacked.

The 43-year-old was the publisher of Jagriti Prakashani, which published Avijit Roy's Biswasher Virus (Bengali for The Virus of Faith), an atheist book.

This attack followed a stabbing earlier the same day, when publisher Ahmedur Rashid Tutul and two writers, Ranadeep Basu and Tareque Rahim, were stabbed at their office in another publishing house.

Niladri Chattopadhyay Niloy, known by his pen name Niloy Neel, was killed on August 7, 2015 after six men armed with machetes attacked him at his home in the Goran area of Dhaka and hacked him to death.

Police reported that the men tricked Niloy's wife into letting them into the house before they launched their attack.

Niloy wrote for Mukto-Mona, a blog for secularists and freethinkers, and was associated with the Shahbag Movement, a series of protests against war crimes.

He had also attended the public protest which demanded justice for the murdered bloggers Ananta Bijoy Das and Avijit Roy.

Ansarullah Al Islam Bangladesh, an Al Qaeda group, claimed responsibility for Niloy's death.

On February 26, 2015, Dr. Avijit Roy, a well-known Bangladeshi blogger, was attacked with his wife Bonya Ahmed.

The couple were on their way home from the Ekushey Book Fair when the bicycle rickshaw they were travelling in was attacked by machete-wielding men.

According to witnesses, they were dragged from the rickshaw to the pavement and hacked at with machetes.

Bio-engineer Roy was stabbed in the head with sharp weapons and his wife was slashed on her shoulders. The fingers of her left hand were severed when she tried to help her husband.

PAKISTAN: A Pakistani Court ACQUITTED 112 Suspects Last Week In The 2013 Torching Of HUNDREDS Of Christian Homes Over Islamic Sharia Blasphemy (Offended Islam) RUMOR.

A Pakistani court acquitted 112 suspects in the 2013 torching of hundreds of Christian homes in the eastern city of Lahore over a rumour that one of the residents there had blasphemed, a lawyer said on Sunday.

In March 2013, more than 125 homes in Lahore's Josep Colony were burned by a mob of more than 3,000 Muslims responding to rumours that a local Christian man, Sawan Masih, had made derogatory remarks about the Prophet Mohammad.

No one was killed in the incident but there was widespread damage to the property of the mostly destitute Christians living in the neighbourhood. Two churches and dozens of Bibles were also desecrated in the attack.

Defence lawyer Ghulam Murtaza Chaudhry said an anti-terrorism court in Lahore had acquitted 112 people accused of torching and ransacking hundreds of houses.

"They were acquitted by the court because of lack of evidences against them," Murtaza told Reuters. "The state witnesses could not identify the accused and their statements were also contradictory."

All 112 suspects were already out on bail.

A road sweeper in his late twenties, Sawan Masih told police after his arrest on blasphemy charges that the real reason for the blasphemy allegation was a property dispute between him and a friend who spread the rumour.

In Pakistan, conviction under the blasphemy laws can carry a mandatory death sentence.

Masih was sentenced to death in 2014, a decision he has appealed.

Critics of Pakistan's blasphemy laws say they have long been used by individuals and religious groups to settle disputes.

This month, the Pakistani Senate's human rights panel said it would debate how to prevent the country's blasphemy laws being applied unfairly, the first time in decades that any parliamentary body had considered a formal proposal to stop the abuse of the blasphemy laws.

Many conservatives in Pakistan consider even criticising the laws as blasphemy, and in 2011 a Pakistani governor, Salman Taseer, was assassinated by his bodyguard after calling for reform of the laws.

His killer Mumtaz Qadri was hailed as a hero by religious hard-liners. Tens of thousands of supporters attended his funeral after he was executed last year and a shrine was built over his grave soon after his burial.

Hundreds of Pakistanis are on death row for blasphemy convictions.

FLASHBACK: Muslim Countries Refuse To Take A Single Syrian Refugee, Cite Risk Of Exposure To Terrorism. 16 Muslim Nations Forbid Admission To Israeli Passport Holders.

A truth the Leftist completely ignore or basically are okay with this discrimination because they hate Jewish people.

Sharing a comment made by IIan: "16 countries forbid admission to Jews and Israelis. All 16 of them are Islamic majority countries. So while the left continue expressing outrage over Trump's legitimate decision to halt immigration from Islamic countries where there is civil unrest, terror and violence, just remember there are 16 states that refuse entry to people for the sole purpose that they are Jews."

Five of the wealthiest Muslim countries have taken no Syrian refugees in at all, arguing that doing so would open them up to the risk of terrorism. Although the oil rich countries have handed over aid money, Britain has donated more than Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar combined.
Between 10 and 12 million Syrians have been displaced by the bloody civil war raging in their country. Most still remain within Syria’s borders, but around four million have fled over the borders into neighbouring countries, mostly Turkey Jordan and Lebanon, and beyond.

Lebanon, which has 1.1 million Syrian refugees, shut her borders to the Syrians in June of last year. Jordan, host to another 630,000, followed suit in August last year, preventing more Syrians from abandoning their country.

By early August 2015, European states had received nearly 350,000 asylum applications from Syrians, nearly a third of whom applied to Germany for asylum. Another 65,000 have applied Sweden and 50,000 in Serbia. Hungary and Austria have received close to 19,000 applications each although that figure is likely to rise, while the UK is processing 7,030 applications, according to the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR).
Yet amidst cries for Europe to do more, it has transpired that of the five wealthiest countries on the Arabian Peninsula, that is, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain, not one has taken in a single refugee from Syria. Instead, they have argued that accepting large numbers of Syrians is a threat to their safety, as terrorists could be hiding within an influx of people. Sherif Elsayid-Ali, Amnesty International’s Head of Refugee and Migrants’ Rights, has slammed their inaction as “shameful”.

He said: “The records of Gulf countries is absolutely appalling, in terms of actually showing compassion and sharing the responsibility of this crisis… It is a disgrace.” None of the Gulf States signed the 1951 Refugee Convention, which legally defines a refugee as “A person who owing to a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion, is outside the country of his nationality”. However, they have taken refugees in the past.

Twenty-five years ago, hundreds of thousands of Kuwaitis fleeing Saddam Hussein’s invasion were given refuge. According to Arabian expert Sultan Sooud al-Qassemi: “in Abu Dhabi, the government rented out entire apartment blocks and gave them to families for free.”
Instead the countries, all of which are within the Top 50 list of wealthiest nations by GDP, have opted to donate aid to those affected by the crisis. According to the Daily Mail, the UAE has funded a refugee camp in Jordan giving shelter to tens of thousands of Syrians, while Saudi Arabia and Qatar have donated funds, food, shelter and clothing to Syrians in Lebanon, Turkey and Jordan.

Total donations from the Gulf States are believe to total £589 million, less than a quarter of America’s £2.8 billion, and a fraction of the £65 billion they spent on defence in 2012 alone. The UK has handed over £920 million so far, but the Prime Minister yesterday pledged to increase that figure to £1 billion. He also promised to take in thousands more refugees.

Al-Qassemi has argued in the that the standing that the Muslim countries now have in the world confer on them a moral obligation to step in. “The Gulf States have emerged as the nerve centres of Arab diplomacy, culture, media production, commerce and tourism, amassing an unprecedented degree of soft power unrivalled in the region and beyond,” he said.

They also form “the most influential bloc within the 70-year-old Arab League.”

“But with great power comes great responsibility. The Gulf must realise that now is the time to change their policy regarding accepting refugees from the Syria crisis. It is the moral, ethical and responsible step to take.”

NIGERIA: A Female Islamist Suicide Bomber With A Baby On Her Back And Two Girls ALL CARRYING EXPLOSIVES Attacked Crowded Market. Islamist Necromongers MURDERED 6, INJURED 17.

Pakistan Today

Wednesday January 25, 2017

MAIDUGURI - A woman suicide bomber in Boko Haram-hit northeast Nigeria strapped a baby to her back to go unnoticed as she walked into a busy market to detonate her explosives in a recent attack, a local government official said on Tuesday.

The woman with a baby, and two girls, all carrying explosives, struck a crowded market in the town of Madagali 11 days ago, killing six people and injuring 17, according to the chairman of Madagali local government, Alhaji Yusuf Mohammed.

Nigerian army spokesperson Rabe Abubakar could not confirm that a baby had been used in the attack, and said the woman may have just been disguised to appear as if she was carrying an infant.

The UN children’s agency (UNICEF) said it was the first such incident involving a baby reported in northeast Nigeria. “We are extremely worried about the use of a baby in this callous way,” UNICEF spokesperson Doune Porter told a foreign news agency.

The suicide bombings, which bore the hallmark of militant group Boko Haram, are common in northeast Nigeria, the heart of the militants’ seven-year campaign to create an Islamic state.

The militant group preys on displaced children or young girls it kidnaps and forces them to become bombers, with some unaware they are carrying explosives, aid agencies say.

The use of children as suicide bombers by Boko Haram has surged almost five-fold since 2014, with 19 child bombings, most involving young girls, recorded by UNICEF last year.

Prior to the Madagali bombings, the youngest child used in such an attack was a nine-year-old girl, the UN agency said. The attack in Madagali is one in a series of bombings in Nigeria northeast, mainly Borno state, in recent weeks as Boko Haram steps up attacks with the end of the rainy season facilitating movements in the bush.

However, risk management consultancy Signal Risk’s director Ryan Cummings said Nigeria’s civilian joint task force (CJTF) had stepped up efforts to spot and search suspected bombers. “Several attempted attacks by females bombers have been thwarted (due to the CJTF), limiting casualties,” he said.

Army spokesperson Abubakar said security forces would be extra vigilant and ready to respond to any new strategies used by Boko Haram. The militants’ insurgency has killed about 15,000 people and forced more than two million to flee their homes.

In early 2015, the militants controlled an area the size of Belgium but has been pushed out from most of the territory by the Nigerian military with help from neighbouring countries.

Characteristics of Self-Actualized People

Characteristics of Self-Actualized People
written by Kendra Cherry
[source: About]

Abraham Maslow proposed a hierarchy of needs that represented various needs that motivate human behavior. The hierarchy is often displayed as a pyramid, with lowest levels representing basic needs and more complex needs located at the top of the pyramid.

At the peak of this hierarchy is self-actualization. The hierarchy suggests that when the other needs at the base of the pyramid have been met, the individual can then focus their attention on this pinnacle need. Self-actualization is described as "…the desire for self-fulfillment, namely, to the tendency for him to become actualized in what he is potentially."

Self-Acceptance and Democratic World View
Self-actualized people tend to accept themselves and others as they are. They tend to lack inhibition and are able to enjoy themselves and their lives free of guilt. Other people are treated the same regardless of background, current status or other socio-economic and cultural factors.

Realistic
Another major characteristic of self-actualized people is a sense of realism. Rather than being fearful of things that are different or unknown, the self-actualized individual is able to view things logically and rationally.

Problem-Centered
Self-actualized individuals are often motivated by a strong sense of personal ethics and responsibility. They enjoy solving real-world problems and are often concerned with helping other people improve their own lives.

Peak Experiences
Self-actualization is also characterized by having frequent peak experiences. What exactly is a peak experience? According to Maslow, these "Feelings of limitless horizons opening up to the vision, the feeling of being simultaneously more powerful and also more helpless than one ever was before, the feeling of ecstasy and wonder and awe, the loss of placement in time and space with, finally, the conviction that something extremely important and valuable had happened, so that the subject was to some extent transformed and strengthened even in his daily life by such experiences."

Autonomy
The self-actualized individual does not conform to other people's ideas of happiness or contentment. This original perspective allows the individual to live in the moment and appreciate the beauty of each experience.

Solitude and Privacy
Self-actualized individuals value their privacy and enjoy solitude. While they also love the company of others, taking time to themselves is essential for personal discovery and cultivating individual potential.

Philosophical Sense of Humor
Self-actualized individuals generally have a thoughtful sense of humor. They are able to enjoy the humor in situations and laugh at themselves, but they do not ridicule or make fun at the expense of another person's feelings.

Spontaneity
Another characteristic of self-actualized people is a tendency to be open, unconventional and spontaneous. While these people are able to follow generally accepted social expectations, they do not feel confined by these norms in their thoughts or behaviors.

Enjoy the Journey
While self-actualized people have concrete goals, they do not see things as simply a means to an end. The journey toward achieving a goal is just as important and enjoyable as actually accomplishing the goal.

10 Lessons for Embracing Transitions...♥

written by Andrew Pacholyk, MS L.Ac
[source: OM Times]

Our lives are made up of the building blocks of change. Transitions create the person we must grow to be. Transition happens for a reason. That reason is to allow us possibilities we may not have seen in the first place. This can be traumatic or it can be less so.

The single most important point you can make about transitions are that in most cases it’s not what faces you that’s the problem, it’s how you react to it.

How you react is determined by how you perceive a particular change. The Chinese word for crisis is “weiji”. Two characters that separately mean danger and opportunity.

Every problem we encounter in life can be viewed that way. It is a chance to show that we can handle it. Changing the way you think, can change a life of stress and discomfort to a life of challenge and excitement.

Transition shows itself in many forms. The move to a different career, by choice or not, the loss of a loved one, the loss of a relationship, the move to a new home or simply the change in the weather and how we feel.

It is important to embrace the transition!. Struggling, kicking and screaming and dragging your heals will only prolong trying to control the uncontrollable. Learn to recognize strengths you may have overlooked. Embrace optimism and reform your old belief system. Honor the new you, which you are transforming into. Here are some ways to embrace your transitions:

1. Often, in any situation, we must take the quiet time to be with ourselves to observe this change. How is it going to effect me? Better yet, how am I going to let it effect me? What am I going to do to get through this? Allow the answers to come to you in your quiet time.

2. Take Everything one day at a time. Sometimes situations can become overwhelming when looking at the big picture. Again, take your quiet time to observe the moment. Allow yourself to take all the time, take the space that you need to grasp the change.

3. Breath. Deep breathing allows us to open our chest and expand. It clears our minds and bodies of toxins and should be used as a tool for change. Allow the breathe to cleanse you and make room for change. Make room for something different.

4. Support. We are always put at ease when we have support behind us. In these vulnerable moments, we can find strength in others. If you have a good friend, a family member, a loved one or a community group that you can turn to, do so. Be sure that this support comes from a positive, unbiased source. Otherwise, it can be more damaging than good. Rest assure, there have been others who have gone through what you are experiencing right now. See if you can take away with you some of their positive pearls of wisdom.

5. Love Yourself. You are the true source to your own happiness. You have to live within yourself. You have to be at peace within yourself. Only you can do that. Only you can make that happen. We each have our own way of being with ourselves, but there is only one way to be at ease with your soul. That is to love yourself, always.

6. Our Belief System is one of the major factors that can get us through situations or can cause our life to crumble around us! I do believe that there is a lot of innate goodness and balancing our minds do subconsciously to get us through hard times. The other portion of this is how we “program” ourselves to deal with any given situation.

7. Let go of Ego. Embracing peace of mind, optimism, the ability to forgive, and a sense of humor are all good ways to allow the ego to step aside and make room for some humble pie.

8. Allow Emotional Release. Identifying, expressing, experiencing, and accepting all of our feelings is your doorway to accepting all change in your life.

9. Be Flexible. You have a rigid, mind set about work, relationships, kids or lifestyle. Learn a lesson from the willow tree and its ability to bend in the great wind. Where as, when we are rigid like the old oak tree, we can easily break apart under the stress of change. Learn to relax and follow the path unfolding before you.

10. Their Is No Security in something that is irrelevant or no longer has meaning. When we let go of the familiar, we have the power to embrace the new. Embrace it!

Woot! I'm Watching Saturday Night Fever (1977) On AMC Right Now. I Have To Share Tony Manero's Epic Walk and Epic Dance With You. 😊💖

I found this AWESOME video dedicated to Tony Manero and his cool style! I love it. I am one happy camper right now! 😁 This is one of my favorite movies. It brings back such fond memories of my club days. It was always a delight to see my friends and acquaintances. But what I enjoyed most was dancing to amazing music. We sure had pretty magnificent clubs back in the day and we dressed to impress. ;)

This movie is superb because it highlights growing pains, the love of dance and the desire to become a better person. I can relate to this movie in so many ways. I have no regrets. It was a phase in my life that I grew out of, and now for the time being, I comfortably live the life of a monk who loves disco lol ;) I can reminisce with a smile in my heart and soul.

I wish they included the mirror scene in this vid!

Yaaay... I FOUND IT! I am so happy somebody actually uploaded this scene! This was totally me during my club days. Getting ready and sporting my new outfit was a big deal. Oh and the hair... fuhgeddaboudit! lol Enjoy. :)

This song makes my heart sing. Enjoy these beautiful lyrics...♥

Happy Chinese New Year Of The Rooster 2017. I Was Born In The Year Of The Rooster. I AM The Rooster! 💖 Rise And Shine Sleepy Heads. Time To Wake Up. It Is A NEW DAWN.

Rise and shine sleepy heads. Time to wake up. It is a NEW DAWN.

I am really excited about entering the Year of the Rooster. Most of what I read about this year focused upon the Rooster being noisy, strutting his stuff, and being an egoist. But when you stop and think about what a Rooster's role is on a farm, the Rooster maintains law and order on the farm, aside from procreating. The Rooster protects the hens on the farm against all predators. That's a very good thing for all of us who want to live in a world of law and order vs chaos and confusion. The Rooster is putting the darkness on notice... your time is up. It is a new dawn.

Chinese New Year 2017

New Year, or the “Spring Festival” as it is known in China, is the longest and most important holiday in China. The Chinese New Year 2017 begins on January 28, 2017. The Chinese New Year’s festivities end two weeks later on the 15th day of the first month on what is known as the Lantern Festival.

During the Chinese New Year’s celebrations, there are many traditional activities, some local and others celebrated universally. The Chinese believe that as they enter a new year, they should start a new beginning. They clean their houses, pay off all of their debts, purchase new clothes, paint their doors, and even get new haircuts in order to have a fresh start for the new year.

Homes throughout China are decorated with special banners, many of which are red and gold; the traditional representations of happiness and prosperity.

One very fun tradition of the Chinese New Year is exchanging gifts. A traditional present that is given is small red envelopes filled with “lucky money”. These envelopes are given to children by their family and friends.

The dragon is a very popular symbol for the Chinese New Year. It is a symbol of strength and good luck. A Chinese New Year 2017 celebration would not be complete without a giant dragon parading down the street. The dragon costume is always very colorful and can be up to 100 feet long. People inside the costume make the dragon move up and down as it zigzags past the spectators.

During the Chinese New Year 2017 you will see fireworks and hear firecrackers! There are many beliefs about why fireworks are used. One belief is that the noise of the fireworks is supposed to scare away all evil spirits allowing the new year to begin without misfortunes.

The Chinese New Year begins on the first New Moon of the year, which is January 28th, 2017.

Last year was the year of the Fire Monkey, which brought many surprises and unpredictability. A lot of people felt all over the place in 2016 but now in 2017, things are going to feel more grounded.

The Rooster is an organized, practical and grounded animal that likes to plan and take calculated risks. While the Monkey is all about the element of surprise, Rooster energy is more about making planned decisions.

In 2017, it is going to be necessary to plan your next move and to start thinking step-by-step what you want to achieve and how you are going to achieve it.

The Rooster is often the leader and commands the respect of all the hens, making 2017 a perfect year to step up and take responsibility for the direction of your life.

The Yin energy also gives 2017 a feminine quality. While you will be required to do some prepping and planning, you will also need to trust and follow your instincts and intuition.

If something feels off, or if something feels like it is not right, then the year of the Yin Fire Rooster will require you to pay attention.

In fact, if you want to strengthen your intuitive muscles and learn how to trust your instincts, the Yin Fire Rooster will definitely provide support.

According to many Chinese astrologers, Yin Fire can be an extremely volatile combination.

Yin energy is often associated with water and metal, but when put together with fire it has the potential to be extremely destructive. Yin Fire can also indicate wars, terrorist attacks and economic corruption.

If any animal can handle the energy of Yin Fire however, it is the Rooster. With the Rooster’s practical and methodical approach it has the ability to take this Yin Fire energy and keep it under control.

When Yin Fire is under control it can actually lead to peaceful resolutions, a tempering of anger and a soothing of any conflicts. It is also a wonderful energy for female empowerment and more women may be in the spotlight this year than ever before.

On a personal level, the year of the Yin Fire Rooster may help you to solve issues or complex problems in your life. It may even help to bring clarity to issues that have been causing you anger and stress.

When you use this energy effectively, it will also help you to stay productive and to make great strides, especially in your career.

The year of the Yin Fire Rooster has also been labelled the year of awakenings and this is also playing out in Western Astrology as well.

We all know that the Rooster cock-a-doodle-doos in the morning in order to “wake up” all the other animals.

In 2017, the Rooster is going to give all of us a much needed wake up call that is going to help us to further explore our intuition and to look at the areas of our lives that need to be rebirthed or transformed.

As we move through this year of new beginnings, more and more people are going to be called to awaken and the Yin Fire Rooster is going to be helping and supporting this journey.

The Yin Fire Rooster may be volatile and destructive but it is also extremely powerful and strong. When this energy is used effectively, there is no problem that can’t be solved, no intuitive message that is too complex to understand and no dream too big to conquer.

Happy Chinese New Year!

And Like The Phoenix... I RISE!

The Phoenix
A poem by Rebecca Wiles

Beautiful, glorious and sacrificing self for renewal,
you build a pyre and set yourself ablaze.
For the sake of self.
Red bird of fire you come forth through
your ashes a new bird shedding the old self
which no longer is needful.
You embrace your new strength and
fly to the heights of the sky to the city of the sun
and give the ashes unto the alter of the sun god for your immortality.
Embrace yourself for you are a child of the sun
and will live eternal through birth, death, and renewal!
The spirit never dies!

and my spirit is roaring back like a lion!

No weapon formed against me shall ever prosper!
because
I AM protected by the shed blood of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior.
AND
I HAVE legions of mighty warrior angels guarding me on all sides.
In Jesus mighty name, AMEN! ❤

Awesome message by Jentezen Franklin "Check Mate".

The thief (the enemy/darkness) comes to
steal, kill (murder) and destroy.

When the enemy whispers checkmate, You need to know that you know that you know that you know... God and all of heaven will stand in front of you and tell the enemy "I don't think so. The King has one last move."

I TRUST and BELIEVE that God will give me JUSTICE!

Relationships In Rooster Year: Tips For Mending Wounds, Finding Harmony. 💞

-TIPS FOR MENDING WOUNDS, FINDING HARMONY-

Relationships will take center stage in the Chinese Rooster Year officially beginning January 28. The build-up to that dynamic is under way now, impacting both personal relationships and relationships between citizens and the power elite. A key example is in the US, where a new leadership is preparing to take power January 20 - stirring unprecedented uncertainty and unrest. This indeed is a unique time for all of us to be alive. Continue reading to find out what this means for your personal relationships and your experience relating to the outside world.

What's Different Now

For years we have been in the midst of a revolution in how humans relate to one another. Leading up to 2017, however, new levels were reached in the ascension process as humanity's awakening accelerated and brought to the surface more of the issues hidden away in the closet.

The light has been shining incrementally brighter on humanity's shadow side. One example: the divisive US elections in 2016 unveiled a plethora of deeply-rooted hate. As this energy emerged from the shadows and played out, very old wounds resurfaced.

As we begin 2017, wounds need mending and the shadow elements now in the light must be addressed. For all of us, no matter where we live, this is an opportunity to reflect on our own shadow elements that prevent us from being as loving and kind as we want to be. Everyone has these; it's not just the crazy world showing us its shadow.

Your Personal Relationships

For your personal relationships, the Rooster Year energies will be catalyzing deeper levels of unresolved issues. That includes things you already know about, and perhaps also "new" issues arising because of past life patterns in your DNA. It's common in these times to have unresolved past life themes surface in current relationships. When they show up, they can seem new, but in fact they are ancient.

Yin Fire Rooster Year & Relationships

It will be a Yin Fire Rooster Year, carrying potentials for nervous tensions and explosive dynamics as well as innovative solutions and rebirths.

Relationship mastery in such a year can mean a huge new beginning with your partner - almost like rewriting the script you came together with. However your relationship was before, it can evolve into a more enlightened dynamic.

Tip: it's highly recommended that you explore and heal whatever comes up with your partner this year. Do this even if you are on the verge of a break up. The goal should be to complete the learning from this relationship and bring it to a more enlightened state. Then, if you still want to end things, you can do so in the highest way - without redos and without needing to again encounter that person or someone like him or her to finish the lesson.

Understanding the DNA Level

Here's a way to better understand the DNA level of your current relationships.

I recommend a long view of your relationships. You are on a path of accelerated awakening. Most likely you aren't the same being now that you were a few years back. With each stage of you spiritual growth, you are able to access new levels of awareness. It's like your energy container is larger.

This means that as you enter a new level of awareness, you as a soul are more able to address your hidden parts that need healing. They were there all along, but they don't surface all at once. Therefore, when you enter a new cycle, issues you didn't even know you had can get triggered.

Consider that the person you are having a squabble with has been with you in other key lifetimes, and that there is an important reason for him or her showing up again now. In my DNA intuitive healing work with clients, I see such connections often. To heal what's going on now, it helps to connect the dots with the past and get the big picture. Resolution in the present also happens when we can see and clear past life situations still in the DNA. These must be healed in the DNA at their past life root level in order to change the present. I'm grateful for the ability to do this work and help in this way.

Tips for Mending Wounds, Finding Harmony

Start with You

Improve your relationships with others by being a better friend to yourself. Don't be stingy. You deserve your own love and care. Ever told yourself you would go to the ends of the Earth to help someone you love? Would you do the same for yourself?

Decide now that you will initiate and maintain a healthy level of self-care in 2017. Your self-love in action - through improved self-care - changes how you feel about being alive and allows you to be a helpful force in the world.

RX for Relationships with Others

Look beyond surface appearances and be willing to go to a deeper place to explore obstacles and find solutions. If some issue continues to reappear, think of it as a gift of awareness, showing you that there is a deeper level to investigate.

The energies of 2017 will support your deeper look at relationships. Don't be surprised if on some days you feel dissatisfied with how things are in a key relationship. This could lead to a rethinking of situations you regret. Do your best to let go of the past. You can't change what happened that soured your relationship. You can, however, consciously choose to learn from it and be more loving going forward.

Good relationships don't just happen. They are consciously energized into being and tended regularly to remain alive and thriving.

When you love yourself or someone else, you allow space. This includes moments of relaxation and quiet, allowing for the processing of conversations, thoughts, and emotions. A relationship is not a race - give things time.

Seeing Humanity Through Spirit's Eyes

As you interact with the outside world and observe the dark side of humanity, factor in the big picture. Look for the light in others and find more peace living in this world. No one is all bad. At the core of all beings is light and the potential for enlightenment.

Trust that wake up calls are going to all of humanity in these moments. This includes those who have amnesia about their own light. These people are unconscious to their true selves or they would not do what they are doing. Forgive them for their ignorance.

Know that the universe has a way of energetically balancing the scales. Even the most hateful dictators will at some time in the future respond to spirit's wake up call. Hold the space for them to do this, trusting that goodness does prevail.

Be among those who choose love and kindness, each and every day. Do not allow the negativity of the world to extinguish your experience of hope. Remember that at the core of your being, you are hopeful and filled with light. Allow that light to guide you forward.

Decide now to actively commit yourself to your divine changemaker path in 2017. Invite spirit to show you what this means on a daily basis. Ask to be directed to the people, causes, courses, inner work, and situations that help you to fulfill your role.
