I know this is going to be deep for many of you. I was running errands yesterday afternoon driving store to store all within the same vicinity. Every song on the radio was a message for me tugging on my heart to get my attention. I wasn't just fixed on one station mind you. I was moving from pre-set to pre-set station after a song. Let me give you examples of what I heard: "Lean On Me" by the Temptations, "Dream On" by Aerosmith, "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion and many other meaningful songs. Nevertheless, this song "Bleeding Love" by Leona Lewis was the climactic ending when I finished my afternoon outing and I was headed home. The lyrics to this song touched me in such an unbelievable way that I had to pull over because I was crying so hard. This experience had nothing to do with another human being. But everything to do with Spirit.
Because you are His children, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” (Galatians 4:6)
And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. (Romans 8:16)
