When Will My Reflection Show Who I AM Inside?

When you do this it will lead you to discovering what God's purpose and plan is for your life. There is a reason why you are here. You are NOT here just to fill the empty space and simply exist like a mouse on a wheel and then die. Your life has tremendous meaning. Seek that out! Start by asking God to reveal your gifts to you. Ask God for guidance and to give you the strength, courage and wisdom to follow the path to fullfill His DIVINE plan for you! Yes family and friends are very important. However, we weren't born simply to please them and constantly seek their approval. There will always be critics and if you are not strong enough you will make the mistake of allowing them to hinder any progress you make. They will want to hold you back or stunt your growth for selfish reasons. We are born alone and we die alone. Therefore, we are held responsible for choosing to live out OUR OWN Divine Destiny. Yes, it is a CHOICE! That is why God gave us FREE WILL. You have TWO choices. You can live your life having a pity party blaming everybody for your misery OR you can decide today to reclaim your life and ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to become a victim of your environment or your circumstances. You OWE it to yourself to become everything you were meant to be! This is where you will find TRUE HAPPINESS and FREEDOM! This is also between YOU and God, nobody else! The Kingdom of Heaven is within you. Talk to God.

I had a boss who also became my mentor in my early twenty's who once told me the following: You must first learn, then earn, then give back to your community. He went on to tell me to start getting comfortable not having cheerleaders in your life as you progress. Because people will always find reasons to criticize you when you start to move forward as they feel you are leaving them behind. He went on to say that's why they say it is lonely at the top! But I promise you this when you do make it to the top, everybody who said you couldn't do it or didn't believe in you will always find a way back into your life to share in your success and tell you "I knew you could always do it." or "I always knew you had it in you." He concluded by telling me, you will know how to respond to them when you get there.

That will be a major turning point in your life. Because you will realize that it was you all along and only you that had to love yourself, encourage yourself and push yourself to each new level you yourself had to conquer and claim as your own! Trust me when I tell you nobody will ever truly understand the sacrifices you made or the tears you shed to get from one level to the next. Why? Because it will never be the same for any two people. Therefore, you can never compare your experience to someone else's. Although there may be some similarities, there will never be identical experiences. That is why it becomes your OWN. Claim your life today. OWN it!

Oh and for those of you who don't have role models in your life who don't come anywhere close to your dreams, READ BOOKS about people who have already achieved their dreams. You will be suprised to discover that they too had to overcome alot to achieve their dreams. It didn't come easy for any of them. That is why it is very important that you get inspiration. A good book will do that for you if your environment doesn't provide that for you. Besides, it will also help to IMPROVE your vocabulary. Remember to always keep a dictionary close to you when reading so that you can reference a word you have never heard before. If you cannot afford to buy books right now, you can visit your local PUBLIC LIBRARY to check out books for free. Movies are also great, but books allow you to create the moving picture in your mind and take you to places you have never been before by EXPANDING your level of AWARENESS. Thereby, causing you to GROW! That should be your goal... to GROW! Wishing you much self-love, inner peace and JOY! Free YOUR MIND...
