Poll shows Clinton with big lead in West Virginia!

(CNN) – Even as she faces pressure from some to call her White House bid quits, Hillary Clinton holds a commanding lead in West Virginia, according to a new poll released Friday.

Clinton has a 43-point advantage over Obama, 66 percent to 23 percent, according to a new survey from the American Research Group.

West Virginia, one of the six contests left in the Democratic presidential race, votes next Tuesday.

If I'm not mistaken isn't West Virginia a critical state? So why doesn't Barack Obama care about the voters enough to fight for their VOTE? So what if everybody has told him that West Virginia will be voting for Hillary Clinton. The point I am trying to make is that if he were fighting for change as he says that he is, why isn't he trying to prove it to the people of that state? Instead Barack Obama has conceded that Hillary has already won?!? Is this the kind of President you want representing you? Someone who gives up THAT EASILY?!?!

I have taken the following from a CBS news article:

“West Virginia has a record of picking presidents. West Virginia made it possible for President Kennedy to become president of the United States,” Clinton told hundreds of supporters who packed a local gymnasium.

“West Virginia in the general election votes for the winner and if West Virginia had voted for our Democratic nominee in 2000 and 2004 we wouldn’t have had to put up with George Bush.”

Historically, West Virginia has voted for the winning presidential candidate more often than not. Clinton told the enthusiastic crowd, “West Virginia is a real indicator on which way the political winds are going to blow come the November election.”

I have taken the following comment from the CNN politicalticker blog because Ann’s statement echo’s my sentiments exactly.

You know, the Obama supporters are just amazing. They talk about change. They talk about how nasty Hillary is and then all they do is make fun of Hillary, her supporters, and the state she's doing well in.

Don't think about the fact that in order for him to win in November, Obama is going to need the votes from states like West Virginia. Oh, that's right, since he doesn't need these votes RIGHT NOW, let's just make fun of the voters there and then love 'em up come the general election campaign time. Yeah, I see the "change".
