This is a photo taken at a Democratic event last year. Barack Hussein Obama is on the left. Bill Richardson is second and Hillary Clinton is third from the left. Look very carefully as these people on stage are listening to our National Anthem "The Star Spangled Banner". Do you SEE Barack Obama with his hand over his heart?
Now, it's been over two decades since I've been in grade school. But you better believe that whenever the 'Star Spangled Banner' is sung or 'Pledege of Allegiance' is read out loud, I automatically put my right hand over my HEART a sign of respect! I am not a fanatic. I just simply love my country and I am proud to be an American citizen.
Okay let's say for the sake of argument he doesn't agree with the lyrics of this song. Well the majority of this country's citizens associate this song with our country's roots. So if Barack Obama wants to become President of the United States and represent the people, how about showing some RESPECT? Where are his American VALUES? Where is his LOYALTY to our NATION?
Actions speak volumes to me!
Here's a little reminder of what our Constitution asks of the citizens of the United States of America:
