Today's message that's resonating in my spirit today is 'God WILL give you justice' and 'No weapon formed against you shall prosper'. When I received this message, I was told to say it out loud. 'God WILL give me justice. No weapon formed against me shall prosper'. This was God's way of having me declare out loud, to feel it and believe it. I recommend that you do the same. I received an email today from the Humane Society of the United States revealing the continued ATROCIOUS ABUSE to cows in the United States. After exposing a slaughter house a few months back I received an email from the USDA apologizing for their lack of oversight and promised to do their jobs more diligently! YEAH RIGHT... Once again in order to get at the TRUTH, this video had to be taken by an undercover worker who is a volunteer at the U.S. Humane Society.

If it were NOT for the volunteers risking their lives to expose these heinous crimes there would be NO JUSTICE in this country for people, animals and nature! Because FRANKLY you can NOT depend on the media, government officials or our regulatory agencies to do their DAMN JOBS! ENOUGH is ENOUGH. This has got to STOP! If we, you and me continue condoning this type of behavior by NOT putting pressure on our regulators, then you can just be sure that this type of behavior will affect SOCIETY and extend beyond cow abuse!

Lightning typically doesn't strike twice. And almost never three times. But it has in the meat and dairy industries, and they and government regulators need to do something about the systemic problem of downer cows.

Yesterday, The Humane Society of the United States released its latest undercover video showing abuses of dairy cows -- this time at an auction in Portales, New Mexico. The video shows workers kicking, hitting, dragging by chains, and electrically shocking cows unable to stand or walk. It sickens me to watch these images, and I know it must have the same effect on you.

This is our third exposé since January, and the horrifying cruelty we've documented shows why it's time for the USDA, the states, and the meat and dairy industries to act -- and to delay and dilly dally no longer. Watch our video, then urge the USDA to immediately adopt a comprehensive policy barring the slaughter of injured and ill cattle who cannot walk, called "downers." (The video will not start automatically if you prefer to take action without watching it.)

Our investigators visited five auctions and a slaughter plant during the course of these three investigations and found appalling mistreatment at every location -- providing irrefutable evidence that there are industry-wide problems that must be addressed.

Besides fostering the terrible suffering of downers, the loophole has the potential to threaten the safety of our food supply: Downers have a higher risk of harboring foodborne pathogens such as Salmonella, E. coli, and even mad cow disease, than cows able to walk on their own. How much longer can we afford to wait?

While the USDA has committed to a ban on the slaughter of downers for human consumption, it has yet to implement it. And our latest investigation shows why USDA should not wait another day. While it's at it, the agency must broaden the ban to include downers at livestock auctions and other links in the food supply chain, too. Animals -- and the American public -- deserve aggressive action to solve this problem. There is no more time for hedging or delay. Please tell the USDA to act today. Obama's Unprecedented Attack on Free Speech - Mechanisms and Results

Wow! This Op-Ed written by Newsvine totally echoes my sentiments regarding how Barack Obama's campaign managed to get this far. Seriously, this is a MUST READ! Personally, I don’t care if Obama was purple, blue, green, pink or orange…. I don’t like his character, his outright lies, his manipulation, his associations, his arrogance, his fakeness, oh yeah I can't forget to include his incompetence. The list goes on. My gosh, don't we already have a man in the White House that fits this description exactly!?

For many months now, Obama has run a campaign that has as its centerpiece the control and manipulation of the media, and the elimination of free speech. This began as a methodology designed to control the Internet. And moved to the main stream media very quickly.

The principle voiced by the Obama campaign is and was that the media must report what it wants to report and the way that it wants the media to report the "news." This includes opinion, which was to be and has been written in one way with the other ways attacked continuously by what could be a group of hired and independent writers.

Taking their cue from totalitarian regimes, Obama developed his own propaganda arm which spewed facts and figures to the media and made false claims designed to keep controversial issues dealing with the candidate off of the main stream media. At the same time, Obama attacked in merciless ways those who voiced opposition on various Internet systems and sources, including the media who dared to question him, and has now stopped debates in favor of tuning his message against McCain again with the help of completely compliant media.

The propaganda process was carefully managed turning everything damaging to Obama into racist or irrelevant issues. These included blatant refusals to print or to discuss clearly relevant issues to claims that any discussion was racism. Obama did not care about the truth. Only the message.

From this vantage point, Obama's continual attacks on Hillary Clinton supporters were continually repeated through numerous MSM channels with little or no questioning and constant support for the Obama view of the truth. Obama thereby created the most one-sided message system ever developed in US politics.

Calling Clinton and her husband just an extension of Bush, and McCain "Bush III," Obama has been able to seed the press with such false statements that the truth is far from anywhere one turns.

Obama communication and voting control systems designed to eliminate free speech rank at the pinnacle of Obama's attack on free speech. These include the following important free speech elements without which media, voters, and all in the world fail to understand the truth and could ultimately have no more opportunity to voice their differences and views than those in totalitarian regimes.

The first is Obama's successful eradication of Hillary Clinton supporters from the MSM, including especially CNN. We have never heard of such an effort, much less anyone who has successfully achieved such an eradication of opposition in any US political campaign.

The second is the system used to deny all those who were not supporters from any venue in which Obama appeared. In ASU and elsewhere, Obama operatives ensured that only supporters appeared, with opponents being rejected. Even then, the MSM learned that they were not to report anything negative about Obama, and they did not.

The third and most intrusive system of all was the use of race as a way in which to define Obama's opponent and the use of racism claims to ensure that major issues were stifled in the press. Indeed, to this day, the Democrats have continued to use racism wherever they turn. From the Wright controversy, where Dean called the coverage racist, to the war against Geraldine Ferraro claiming that she is a racist, Obama has turned the tables dramatically against free speech and toward some other place that we dare not go or discuss.

Why Can't Obama Get His Story Straight?

And this is just a taste of Barack Obama's flip-flopping on every key issue and some of his lies, gaffes and do-overs. Oh and this is straight from the horse's mouth or better put, straight from the horse's behind.

2. If you've ever read U.S. history, President Hoover is remembered for the roaring 20's and left this nation with Hoovervilles during the Great Depression. Now President Bush will be remembered for the roaring 2000's and will leave us with Bushvilles!
3. Millions of homes will REMAIN vacant and unkempt across the United States due to foreclosures UNTIL the banks DECIDE to dump their absurd inventories. This could mean 6 months up to one year or more! UPDATE 05/09/08 YahooFinance and Law.com: Empty Homes Spur Cities' Suits
4. The end-result of the MILLIONS of foreclosures across this great nation... Every state will not receive the property taxes as revenue that the states were counting on and have already spent! Which in turn means revenue being funneled down to the county's will be massively cut. Which in turn means services provided by the county's will be massively cut! Such as police, fire department, transportation services, ETC!
5. Millions of jobs have already been lost and a TSUNAMI more to come. Either through factory closures, business' closing and downsizing due to EXCESS write-offs caused by the CREDIT CRISIS! Many financial sector jobs have been lost. Not to mention, almost the entire full-time mortgage and real estate professionals that are NOT earning income and have been blackballed by employers. 6. Picture 6 months down the road for a moment please.... I say 6 months because President Bush has reduced the number of months claimants can receive unemployment insurance. It used to be 1 year. If jobs ARE being LOST and corporations are having to tighten their belt due to a reduction in earnings, which will cause hiring freezes... how on earth do you expect PEOPLE to pay for their food and board if there is very little chance for them to get re-employed??? The people still need to pay for rent, groceries, car payments, credit card payments, student loans, utilities, ETC! Can you SEE the ripple effect?
7. Expect more auto repossessions, people will be unable to pay for credit card bills, unable to pay student loans, unable to pay rent and utilities.... all of this leads to more homelessness. UPDATE 06/25/08 guardian.co.uk: Subprime crisis: US foreclosures bring homelessness to the middle class. This WILL hurt the credit card companies and lenders of college tuition, landlords, utility companies, grocery stores, retail stores, ETC!

How did you come up with the title for your new special?

George Carlin:

It's BAD FOR YA refers to the bullshit in America that's all around us, from birth to death. It's part of a longer thought - the total sentence is, "It's Bullshit folks. It's ALL Bullshit, and it's Bad For Ya." And it is. A lot of Bullshit is poisonous and toxic to you. So you have to spot the Bullshit, and know which Bullshit to walk around and which Bullshit to meet head on.

So besides "Bullshit", what can the audience expect to hear in the show?

George Carlin:

A lot of this show has to do with things we don't question. Americans don't question things anymore. We don't question things because everybody is fat and happy - and way to f**ken prosperous for their own good. Everybody has got a cell phone that'll make pancakes now. So they don't want to rock the boat. Everybody just goes along. That's how you get bullshitted; by NOT looking at things carefully and questioning them.

So what do you say to people who take it the wrong way... or take offense?

George Carlin:

If you are not offending someone, you are not doing your job as a comedian. No matter what kind of material you are doing, you have to be rubbing them a bit against the grain they have grown use to. For the artistic tension to arise: for the fun to start. If you are just, OK'ing everything, it's NOT much of a night. People who don't like me - I never hear from, so I don't know what their story is. But I don't blame them. I have my own little cut of the pie in America. My people, who like my stuff.

A New Day Has Come!

I was just outside in my yard relaxing in the shade and recalling my butterfly experience. This song came to my spirit. I began to hum and then sing this song. I have been touched by an angel with LOVE. I went to YouTube and was led to this AMAZING interpretation of my spiritual experiences. I have never heard of Sailor Moon "champion of love and justice", but now I want to learn and enjoy more.

The spiritual battle between Light and darkness is very much real. It's easy to remain content to simply exist in the flesh. What's most difficult and challenging is to accept and live with a heightened sense of awareness and then try to live what's considered a normal life. It is a huge responsibility. Trust me there are many times when I wish I could just move to Fiji. I'd be happy and content to live in a hut and start a scuba diving business. But I'm constantly being told otherwise. We ALL have been given this gift and a purpose. However, it is up to each one of us to ask God to reveal these gifts and our purpose to us and then boldly be ready to accept a new level of consciousness.

This is such a GREAT story that I must share with all of you. I was led to this website that a reader sent to me through an email. Thank you SurferGirl! You see how God responds to our needs. Mine right now just so happens to be the loss of the Butterfly. God will respond to us directly but we have to be able to recognize His voice. Or if our spirit seeks answers consciously or sub-consciously we will be led to them any which way God can get our attention and responds to soothe our souls, either through a dream, a song, a video, another person, etc.

We Live In Two Worlds...

I was led to this 5 minute video this morning still seeking answers from God. The message in this video was exactly what I needed to receive right now. I want to share this message with you in the event that you have lost someone, a pet or perhaps have a fear of death.

The butterfly God sent to me the last two weeks died yesterday. I woke up to find her dead on the ground, stiff yet beautiful as ever. I broke down crying as if I lost my best friend. I've only known this butterfly for two weeks. I couldn't understand why I became so extremely emotional over this little butterfly. I began thanking God for blessing me with the butterfly experience I had last Saturday. What an honor, that experience will live in my spirit forever. I couldn't very well just leave the butterfly on the ground like that for all of the bugs to start devouring her it just didn't seem right, so I put her in a little box I had. I then had to literally pull myself together so that I could get on to work yesterday.

To ease my grief God reminded me that butterflies are destined to live a short lifespan of a month. God also reminded me that everything on this planet is finite. Humans are born and then will physically die. Animals are born and then will physically die. Flowers bloom and then die. He was showing me pictures. He wanted me to know how LIFE is taken for granted. We must all value and appreciate the LIFE that we have been given and the LIFE that exist all around us. Life is so precious and we must do everything in our power to protect, preserve and enjoy all that is living. We must strive to live in harmony within ourselves and everything around us. LIFE is fleeting, delicate and precious. Do what you can to enjoy and take in every waking moment.

I would also like to add that when I went in to work I didn't mention what happen to me that morning to anyone. I was trying to be strong and just get through the day. God's love showed through my co-workers and friends. They could see the grief in my face through my smile. They offered their love and compassion through saying and doing anything to lift my spirit and making me laugh by giving me hugs, cracking jokes, being goofy and listening. I'm usually the one encouraging others, making them laugh and lifting their spirits. Yesterday, I experienced first hand how valuable it is to sow seeds of love and friendship. We all need each other, one way or another.

Right now many people around the WORLD need us to look beyond the surface and extend our hands and offer them love, encouragement and compassion. These are the less obvious in need of support. The rest who are being affected by natural disasters and political oppression are also in dire need of immediate attention in EVERY which way. WE, the citizens of the WORLD are their ONLY HOPE!

I've had this message on my refridgerator for as long as I can remember. The messages I kept on my refridgerator were used to help me remain focused on what was really important to me and to give me strength through the tough times. I can't stress enough how important it is to surround yourself with positive messages. I no longer have to read them... I simply know them. That is the key!

Butterfly Animal Symbolism! My Personal Encounter With A Butterfly Today...

I must share this story with you. I just came back in after having the MOST amazing encounter with the same Butterfly I wrote about last week. I haven't even told my mom yet. I was outside in my yard enjoying this beautiful day, just standing there taking it all in. Then all of a sudden the same Butterfly I met last week came flying in. She stood on the ground facing me and began flapping her wings. I got excited and I asked, "Do I know you?" I know it sounds silly, but that is the first question that came out of my mouth.

Then the Butterfly starting walking toward me. I didn't think anything of it at the time. Until the Butterfly kept walking toward me and onto my feet and up my leg and onto my shirt until it reached my shoulder. She paused along the way. I kept asking God, "Please help me understand the meaning of this experience as my heart was pounding." I have NEVER had this happen to me my entire LIFE! I have been touched by a Butterfly passing by briefly. But NEVER a Butterfly this comfortable to walk on me, not fly on me. When she reached my shoulder we were face to face. WOW! I asked the Butterfly again, "Do I know you?" She began to flap her wings again. There is more, I just don't know how to explain it to you yet. I still haven't quit understood the entire meaning of this AMAZING experience. I will most definitely keep you posted as more gets revealed to me.

Overwhelmingly, cultural myth and lore honor the butterfly as a symbol of transformation because of its impressive process of metamorphosis.

From egg, to larvae (caterpillar), to pupa (the chrysalis or cocoon) and from the cocoon the butterfly emerges in her unfurling glory.

What a massive amount of transition this tiny creature undergoes. Consider for a moment the kind of energy this expends. I daresay if a human were to go through this kind of change we’d freak out!

Imagine the whole of your life changing to such an extreme you are unrecognizable at the end of the transformation. Mind you, this change takes place in a short span of about a month too (that’s how long the butterfly life cycle is).

Herein lies the deepest symbolic lesson of the butterfly. She asks us to accept the changes in our lives as casually as she does. The butterfly unquestioningly embraces the changes of her environment and her body.

This unwavering acceptance of her metamorphosis is also symbolic of faith. Here the butterfly beckons us to keep our faith as we undergo transitions in our lives. She understands that our toiling, fretting and anger are useless against the turning tides of nature – she asks us to recognize the same.

Interestingly, in many cultures the butterfly is associated with the soul – further linking our animal symbolism of faith with the butterfly.

In Greek myth, Psyche (which literally translates to mean “soul”) is represented in the form of a butterfly. Befittingly, Psyche is forever linked with love as she and Eros (the Greek god of love, also known in Roman myth as Cupid) shared an endlessly passionate bond together – both hopelessly in love with the other.

Even Christianity considers the butterfly a soulful symbol. To wit, the butterfly is depicted on ancient Christian tombs, as Christ has been illustrated holding a butterfly in Christian art.

It’s connection with the soul is rather fitting. We are all on a long journey of the soul. On this journey we encounter endless turns, shifts, and conditions that cause us to morph into ever-finer beings. At our soul-journey’s end we are inevitably changed – not at all the same as when we started on the path.

To take this analogy a step further, we can look again to the grace and eloquence of the butterfly and realize that our journey is our only guarantee. Our responsibility to make our way in faith, accept the change that comes, and emerge from our transitions as brilliantly as the butterfly.

Caribbean Monk Seal Becomes EXTINCT!

Okay people, one by one the number of species going extinct will be growing exponentially! How so very sad for us all. How the human race has evolved to simply DESTROY, USE and ABUSE LIFE and take it for granted, to the point of EXTINCTION! Our Ancient Ancestors were FAR MORE civilized that we are today. At least they knew enough to RESPECT Mother nature and all of the inhabitants. Because I believe they simply understood that there is a CIRCLE OF LIFE. Which by the way we are part of. If that CIRCLE gets destroyed, that will also include us!

Caribbean monk seal becomes extinct

HONOLULU (AP) -- Federal officials have confirmed what biologists have long thought: The Caribbean monk seal has gone the way of the dodo.

Humans hunting the docile creatures for research, food and blubber left the population unsustainable, say biologists who warn that Hawaiian and Mediterranean monk seals could be the next to go.

The last confirmed sighting of a Caribbean monk seal was in 1952 between Jamaica and Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration's Fisheries Service confirmed Friday that the species is extinct.

Kyle Baker, a biologist for NOAA's Fisheries Service southeast region, said the species is the only seal to become extinct from human causes.

The federal agency says there are fewer than 1,200 Hawaiian and 500 Mediterranean monk seals remaining, and their populations are declining.

"We hope we've learned from the extinction of Caribbean monk seals, and can provide stronger protection for their Hawaiian and Mediterranean relatives," Baker said.

"When populations get very small, they become very unstable," Baker said. "They become more vulnerable to threats like disease and predation by sharks."

Vicki Cornish, a wildlife expert at the Ocean Conservancy, said the fate of the Caribbean monk seal is a "wake-up call" to protect the remaining seal populations.

"We must act now to reduce threats to existing monk seal populations before it's too late," she said. "These animals are important to the balance and health of the ocean. We can't afford to wait."

Monk seals are particularly sensitive to human disturbance. And the sea creatures have been losing their food supply and beaches, officials say.

"Once Hawaii, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean were teeming with fish, but these are areas under severe fishing pressure," Cornish said. "They'll eat almost anything - shellfish or finned fish - but their food supply is waning and they're in competition with man."

The endangered Hawaiian monk seals face different types of challenges, including entanglement in marine debris, climate change and coastal development.

"But we need continued support from organizations and the public if we are to have a chance at saving it from extinction," he said. "Time is running out."
