Islam Says 666 Is A Holy Number And Muslims Are Taught To Believe The Book Of Revelation Was Inspired By Satan.

Now let's be logical about this, The Bible which includes the Old Testament (Jewish Torah) and the New Testament (Grace (unmerited favor) bestowed upon us after Jesus' birth, the Gospels) has over 4,000 years of history starting with the beginning of this 2nd Earth Age. The Quran on the other hand was written AFTER Mohammad's death, translated from Aramaic to Arab by Mohammad's first wealthy wife Khadija's cousin, then many other Arab Caliphates twisted everything written in The Bible and distributed around 666 AD! That's 666 YEARS AFTER Jesus died on the cross, redeemed our souls from Satan, then resurrected 3 days later, walked with his disciples for 40 days and then ascended to Heaven to sit at the right hand of God. Come on now, it does not take a rocket scientist to understand who inspired The Quran and for what purpose. They pray to an ancient Mesopotamian moon god, a demonic deity of the underworld. Here is confirmation of 666 being linked to Allah and Islam. The Bible tells us to count the number of the Beast/Kingdom for it is the number of a man (Muhammad) and his number is 666 (In the name of Allah). The Bible states you need wisdom, to discern the number of the Beast. Amazingly the Punctuation Marks in the name Allahu Akbar “Allah is Greater” appear to be the very number 666.

So not only on Islamic flags, can we find the Greek X which John wrote, But the very number 666 itself can be discerned in name of Allahu Akbar.

Islam doesn’t even deny that 666 is connected to them. In fact they proudly claim that it is connected to Muhammad and the Quran itself.

It is interesting to note that many Muslims believe the number “666" to be a holy number. They also believe that the number 19 is holy as well. In knowing this I am not surprised that the number of terrorist that destroyed the World Trade Center was 19. They are called by many in Islam “the magnificent 19". The number “666" is believed to represent the Quran and the Prophet Mohammed.

THE SYMBOLS FOUND IN REVELATION 13:17.

The top row of symbols is in Arabic and we must remember that Arabic (as well as Hebrew) are read from right to left. The far right symbol is “Bism”—“in the name of.” The middle symbol is that of Allah himself and the far left symbol are the crossed swords of Islam denoting military conquest. The military conquest is of the world as we’ve reviewed previously as Islamic Theology states that eventually Islam will dominate the world through Jihad.

The bottom row of symbols are what appears in the original text of Revelation 13:17 as denoting the Mark of the Beast which contains its name and number/multitudes.

Putting the Mark of the Beast together in Arabic we now have the following: “In the Name of Allah there will be Jihad.” The Jihad will consist of great hordes (multitudes) of Islamic warriors just like the glory days of the Caliphate hundreds of years ago. Thus we fulfill the conditions in Revelation 13 that the Mark will contain both the name of the beast and the numbers (multitudes) of people who are part of and worship the Beast. The X character is also the symbol for Ten and the Bible tells us there will be Ten nations/multitudes in this Islamic Beast Alliance, waging Jihad in the name of Allah.

Remember what we’ve already reviewed before about Islamic Eschatology:

1) A Beast will rise up out of the earth and mark (etch/scratch) all true Muslims on their foreheads.

2) A badge/mark of servitude can be presented to Allah at Judgment as a ticket to Paradise and written on the badge is “There is no god but Allah and Mohammed is his messenger.” The badge is to be worn on the forehead or right arm.

3) Madhi and Isa will team up and convert the entire world to Islam through Jihad which is a verbal invitation first and if refused then military conquest.

The Islamic approach and symbols completely fulfill all of Revelation 13’s conditions for the Mark, as it contains the name of the Beast— Islam—who worships the Dragon Allah and does everything in his Satanic name. It’s followed up by the goal of worldwide Jihad through a large army (the crossed swords) to convert the entire world to Islam.

Revelation 20:4 and I saw the souls of them that had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as worshipped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

As Revelation states, any who do not take and wear this Mark will be beheaded and Islam is the only major religion that still beheads people. As Muslims often state, Islam is not just a religion but a system of government (Sharia Law) and commerce, which is why no one within that empire, when it comes, will be able to buy or sell unless they have the Mark.

At the Mid-Way point of the final 7 years is when the Antichrist enforces the taking of this Mark and the eternal consequences for any who do is clear:

Revelation 14:9-11: Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.

As I stated before I believe many present day Muslims will refuse this Mark and see that Jesus Christ is their Savior and I believe this confirmation to be in Revelation 15:2:

And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.

With the exception of the small state of Israel the Middle East is Muslim dominated and I can only hope and believe, what I just said in the last paragraph. Our enemy is not the Muslim people but rather the false god who rules over them and all the heresy he’s taught. Instead we need to Intercede for the Muslim people and pray that the Father will give them into the hands of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 15:2 says this crowd has VICTORY over the Beast, his image, his mark, and the multitudes of his name . . . in Revelation

12:11 they achieve this victory through the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. In other words, they get Saved and then go and evangelize to their fellow muslims. Let us pray that Christ will reveal Himself to them in the here and now!

IS ALLAH LUCIFER?

Let’s do a side by side comparison of the names & characteristics of Satan vs. those of Allah. Almost any copy of the Quran contains the 99 “Beautiful” names of Allah. Some seem quite godly and divine such as “Merciful” and “Compassionate” but others carry a much darker meaning.

Lucifer: Means “shining” one. (Isaiah 14:12). Known as “morning” or “dawn” star (Isaiah 14:12) Angels and Demons frequently called “stars” in Bible.

Allah: Also means “shining” one (Quran 24:35). Is called a star and Lord of the Dawn (morning) (Quran 24:35, 114:1-3). Also called “The Star of Sirius” (Quran 53:49).

Lucifer: Extremely Prideful (Isaiah 10:12 & Ezekiel 28:2). Note that pride is a SIN in Scripture (Romans 1:30, 2 Tim 3:2 & James 4:6).

Allah: Called “The Most Proud One” and “One Filled with Pride.” Al-Muqtadir

Lucifer: Called “god of this world” [surface] (John 12:35, 2 Cor 4:4, & Revelation 11:4) and that of “the bottomless pit” [underworld] (Revelation 9:11).

Allah: Called “Lord of the worlds” (meaning both surface and underworlds).

Lucifer: Called “prince of the power of the AIR” (Ephesians 2:2) and “ruler of darkness in high places” [the sky] (Ephesians 6:12).

Allah: Called “Lord of the wind.”

Lucifer: Called ruler and lord over demons (Matthew 12:24 & Rev 9:11).

Allah: Called “Lord of the Demons.” (Quran 69:43, 51:56, 114:1) and is SERVED by demons (79:1).

Lucifer: Demons follow Lucifer and are his allies (Matthew 12:25-26 & Rev 9:11). Note: demons are ENEMIES of God and His OPPOSITION (Matthew 13:39, Luke 10:19 & Acts 13:10).

Allah: Demons follow Allah and are his allies (Quran 72:13).

Lucifer: Knows the Bible and twists it (Genesis 3, Matthew 4 & Luke 4) and is fighting against its truths and prophecies to achieve his own goals. Knows Jesus will be victorious, that he (Lucifer) will lose and is angry about it (Revelation 12:12).

Allah: Knows the Bible and wrote his own version (the Quran) where he took truth of Jesus and Scriptures and twisted them. Created new scenario where he wins in the end. DEMONS believe Quran is inspired word (Quran 72:1-8).

Lucifer: No repentance for Satan or his demons—the destiny of every last one of them in the Lake of Fire (Matthew 25:41, Revelation 20:10). Have no DESIRE to repent—there is no truth or light in them whatsoever (John 8:44).

Allah: Some demons repent and convert to worship of Allah, Islam, and acknowledging Mohammed as Prophet of Allah (Quran 72:1-13).

Lucifer: Called Destroyer & Murderer (John 8:44, Malachi 3:11). Causer of disease and affliction (Luke 13:16, Acts 10:38). Note: The REAL God is a Healer, a Deliverer, a Father and a Savior!

Allah: Called “Al-Darr” which means “Afflicter & Causer of Harm.” Also “Creator of Suffering.”

Lucifer: Creator of evil and darkness from whom we need to be delivered from (Matthew 6:13—“deliver us from the evil one.”)

Allah: Creator of evil and darkness but Muslims urged to seek refuge in the same one who creates the evil and darkness to escape evil and darkness (not a joke).[Quran 114:13]

Some of the other Names of Allah include Al-Mudhell, The Giver of Dishonour. Al-Mumit, The Bringer of Death, The Destroyer (which is the exact name Apollyon in Revelation 9:11.) Allah is also called

The Crescent Moon and Star Image

The bible (Old Testament/First half is the Jewish Torah and New Testament is the life and teachings of Jesus, Gospels means good news) teachings date back 6,000 YEARS after the first Earth Age when we live in Heaven and Earth in transfigured bodies. You see how Islam twisted the teachings of the Torah and Bible.

“Shirk” is the cardinal sin which is to claim more than 1 part to the Godhead. Committing Shirk to a Muslim is like a Christian blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

CHRISTIANITY: God is our Father, Abba.

Matthew 23:9: “Do not call anyone on earth your Father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.”

Matthew 6:9: “In this manner, therefore, pray: ‘Our Father in heaven…’”

Romans 8:15: For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

In 4 gospels Jesus referred to God as OUR Father 21 times.

ISLAM: Allah is NOT a father (Tawhid)

Surah 112: "In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate. Say (O Muhammad) He is God the One God, the Everlasting Refuge, who has not begotten, nor has been begotten, and equal to Him is not anyone."

CHRISTIANITY: Jesus is the Divine Son of God

Matthew 26:63-64: “Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!” Jesus said to him, “It is as you said.”

John 10:37: “I am the Son of God.”

John 20:31: “but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.”

1 John 4:15: “Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.”

1 John 5:10: “He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.”

The New Testament positively affirms Jesus as Son of God 36 times and prophesied many times in the Old Testament, the first half of the Bible which is the Jewish Torah that came true.

ISLAM: Jesus was only a human Prophet and not divine—Allah never had a son

Surah 5:17: “Pagans indeed are those who say that GOD is the Messiah, the son of Mary.”

Surah 23:91: "God has not taken to Himself any son, nor is there any god with Him: For then each god would have taken of that which he created and some of them would have risen up over others."

Surah 4:171: "People of the Book (the Bible, Christians), go not beyond the bounds in your religion, and say not as to God but the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only the Messenger of God, and His Word that He committed to Mary, and a Spirit from Him. So believe in God and His Messengers, and say not, 'Three.' (Trinity) Refrain; better is it for you. God is only one God. Glory be to Him -(He is) above having a son."

CHRISTIANITY: Jesus was Crucified and Died on the Cross

John 19:16-18: “And they took Jesus, and led him away. 17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: 18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.

Multiple witnesses to crucifixion & death: a “great crowd of people,” Priests, Roman soldiers, Simon of Cyrene, John the Apostle, Virgin Mary, Mary Magdalene & thieves. (Luke 23:26-43 & John 19:23-27).

ISLAM: Jesus Never Went to the Cross (it was a hoax) Surah 4:157-159: “And for claiming that they killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of GOD. In fact, they never killed him, they never crucified him -they were made to think that they did. All factions who are disputing in this matter are full of doubt concerning this issue. They possess no knowledge; they only conjecture. For certain, they never killed him. Instead, GOD raised him to Him; GOD is Almighty, Most Wise. Everyone among the people of the scripture was required to believe in him before his death. On the Day of Resurrection, he will be a witness against them.”

Many believe it was Judas Iscariot who went to Cross!

CHRISTIANITY: Jesus was Resurrected on the 3rd Day

Muslims contend that the followers of Moses and Jesus corrupted their teachings and recorded them inaccurately whereas the Quran is perfectly preserved right from Mohammed’s hands.

CHRISTIANITY: Salvation only through faith in the sacrifice and Grace of Christ, not works.

Ephesians 2:8-9: “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

Hey I'm Ben Shapiro with Reality Check. A couple of weeks ago HBO's Bill Maher got into it with the Islamic expert and horrifying mediocre actor who should have never ever ever play Batman Ben Affleck over whether Islam was indeed a violent religion. Here's the exchange.

Ben Afflect: You're painting the whole religion with that same brush.

Bill Maher: No, no let's get down to who has the right answer. A billion people you say. All these billion people, don't hold these pernicious beliefs?

Ben Afflect: a billion five.

Bill Maher: don't hold these pernicious beliefs?

Ben Afflect: no, they don't.

Of course he's not alone in taking the PC (politically correct) position. That Muslims the world over are tolerant and liberal. He's joined by our President, Barack Obama.

President Obama: Islam teaches peace. Muslims the world over aspire to live in dignity and a sense of justice.

Wow, it's just like John Lennon's "Imagine". Now the question isn't whether Islam itself is violent. It's what its inherent beliefs because that's what they act upon. There's plenty of violent material in the old and new testament. Hey, I'm an orthodox Jew. I read the old testament a lot. But believers in those particular text are not currently ramming airliners, into towers, or beheading journalists or mutilating female genitalia. So, let's examine the question:

Is radicalism in the Muslim world a tiny minority phenomenon?

So to answer that question, we need to define our terms. We're really not talking about people who are active terrorists. Radical beliefs a lot broader than terrorists and anybody who argues otherwise is being naive or disingenuous. BUT, terrorists draw their moral, financial and religious support from those who are not terrorists themselves. SO, where are the radicals. Ben Afflect actually was right about this. There are approximately 1.6 billion Muslims on the planet and they're from 49 different countries in terms of where they have the majority. All the population stats are from Pew Research as of 2011. Indonesia is the world's most populous country. It's got almost 205 million Muslims living there. According to one 2009 poll, it showed almost 50% of Indonesians actually support strict sharia law, not just in Indonesia, but in a lot of countries and 70% blame the United States, Israel or somebody else for 9/11. So, you make that calculation, it's about 143 million people who are radicalized. You scared yet, well we're just getting started.

Egypt, 80 million Muslims. According to that same 2009 poll, it showed that 65% want strict sharia law in every Islamic country and almost 70% said that they have positive or mixed feelings about Bin Laden. So, that's 55.2 million more radicals.

Pakistan has almost 179 million. 76%, just over three quarters, want strict sharia law in all Islamic countries. That is another 135.4 million radicals.

Bangladesh, not a country you tend to think of as Muslim, but there are 149 million Muslims living there. As of 2013, just over a quarter said suicide bombings or targeting of civilians was sometimes justified. Another 82% want sharia to be the official law of the country and two thirds said honor killings of women can sometimes be justified. Honor killings! TWO THIRDS, 121.9 million more radicals.

Nigeria, 75.7 million Muslims live there. 71% favor sharia law. That's 53.7 million more radicals.

Iran, 78.4 million Muslims. 83% favor implementation of sharia law as of last year. So that's 62.1 million more radicals.

Turkey has 74.7 million Muslims and 32% in a moderate Muslim country, probably the most moderate Muslim country, 32% said honor killings of women can actually be justified sometimes. That's 23.9 million radical Muslims in our moderate ally Turkey.

Morocco, 32.4 million Muslims live there. Just over three quarters support sharia law. That's 24.6 million radical Muslims.

Iraq, 31.1 million Muslims live there. 78% say honor killings of women can sometimes be justified. That amounts to 24.3 million Muslim radicals.

Afghanistan, 24 million people. A huge majority, 76% support at least occasionally, once in while, honor killings of women. 99% actually want sharia to be law of the land. 24 million radical Muslims over there in Afghanistan.

Jordan, smaller Muslim country 6.4 million Muslims. Right now, Hamas is enjoying like a 60% approval rating. So, 3.8 million radical Muslims in Jordan. Which again is a moderate Muslim country.

Palestinian areas, where we are sending literally hundreds of millions of dollars to the Palestinian areas, we are, the American taxpayers, 4.3 million Muslims live in the Palestinian areas. 78% of those had positive or mixed feelings about Bin Laden. 89% support terror attacks on our ally Israel. 89% support sharia. We should give them a state folks (sarcasm). That's 3.83 million radical Muslims.

How in the West, let's take it to France. France 4.7 million Muslims live there. A 2007 poll showed 35% of French Muslims said suicide bombings could sometimes be justified. 1.6 million radical Muslims living in France.

Great Britain, 2.8 million Muslims live there. 78% want the cartoonist of Mohammad to be legally prosecuted. So we're talking about 2.2 million radicals in Great Britain.

How about here in the United States. Well we have a very moderate Muslim population, we do 2.6 million Muslims live here according to Pew Research. 13% said violence against civilians can be justified. 19% said they were either favorable towards al Qaeda or they just didn't know, you know because who knows really (sarcasm). That's almost 500,000 radical Muslims here in the United States.

Here is the total of the countries we've gone through just now, 680 million 30 thousand, 680,030,000 radical Muslims and that's out of a total population in those countries of 942.4 million Muslims total and it seems fair to assume that similar porportions of people in Algeria, Syria, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Yemem, Tunisia, Somalia, Libya (Pakistan, Qatar, UAE, India, Malaysia, many European nations, Central Asian nations, Caucaus region, many African nations, etc.) are also radicalized and if they are, then well we're above 800 million Muslims who are radicalized, more than HALF of the Muslims on EARTH. That's NOT a minority. That's now a MAJORITY and that's still not even surveying hundreds of millions of Muslims in other countries. In other words, the myth of the tiny radical Muslim minority is just that, it's a myth and unfortunately it's a myth that's going to get a lot of civilized people killed.

The Status of Non-Muslim Minorities Under Islamic Rule

Dhimmitude: the Islamic system of governing populations conquered by jihad wars, encompassing all of the demographic, ethnic, and religious aspects of the political system. The word "dhimmitude" as a historical concept, was coined by Bat Ye'or in 1983 to describe the legal and social conditions of Jews and Christians subjected to Islamic rule. The word "dhimmitude" comes from dhimmi, an Arabic word meaning "protected". Dhimmi was the name applied by the Arab-Muslim conquerors to indigenous non-Muslim populations who surrendered by a treaty (dhimma) to Muslim domination. Islamic conquests expanded over vast territories in Africa, Europe and Asia, for over a millennium (638-1683). The Muslim empire incorporated numerous varied peoples which had their own religion, culture, language and civilization. For centuries, these indigenous, pre-Islamic peoples constituted the great majority of the population of the Islamic lands. Although these populations differed, they were ruled by the same type of laws, based on the shari'a.

This similarity, which includes also regional variations, has created a uniform civilization developed throughout the centuries by all non-Muslim indigenous people, who were vanquished by a jihad-war and governed by shari'a law. It is this civilization which is called dhimmitude. It is characterized by the different strategies developed by each dhimmi group to survive as non-Muslim entity in their Islamized countries. Dhimmitude is not exclusively concerned with Muslim history and civilization. Rather it investigates the history of those non-Muslim peoples conquered and colonized by jihad.

Dhimmitude encompasses the relationship of Muslims and non-Muslims at the theological, social, political and economical levels. It also incorporates the relationship between the numerous ethno-religious dhimmi groups and the type of mentality that they have developed out of their particular historical condition which lasted for centuries, even in some Muslim countries, till today.

Dhimmitude is an entire integrated system, based on Islamic theology. It cannot be judged from the circumstantial position of any one community, at a given time and in a given place. Dhimmitude must be appraised according to its laws and customs, irrespectively of circumstances and political contingencies.

Dhimmitude in History

Dhimmitude can only be understood in the context of jihad, because it originates from this ideology. Infidels who submit without fighting to the Islamic armies, are granted a pledge of security. They are protected from the jihad laws against infidels which command killing, slavery, ransom or deportation for the enemies. Peace and security for non-Muslims are recognised only after their submission. Protection status is provided through the Islamization of conquered lands.

Rules of dhimmitude

The vanquished non-Muslims peoples are granted security for their life and possessions, as well as a relative self-autonomous administration and limited religious rights according to the modalities of the conquest. These rights are subject to two conditions: the payment of a poll tax (the jizya) and submission to the provisions of Islamic law.

The concept of toleration is linked to a number of discriminatory obligations in the economic, religious and social fields, imposed by the shari'a on the dhimmis. The transgression by the dhimmis of some of these obligations, abolished their protection, and threaten them with death or slavery. Dhimmis suffered many legal disabilities intended to reduce them to a condition of humiliation, segregation and discrimination. These rules, established from the eight to nine centuries by the founders of the four schools of Islamic law, set the pattern of the Muslim's community's social behavior toward dhimmis.

Jews and Christians are referred to as the People of the Book, they share the same legal status, while other religious group - like the Zoroastrians for instance - were more despised and treated harsher.

Dhimmitude covers more than a millennium of Christian and Jewish history, as well as of other groups. It is a comprehensive civilization encompassing customs, legislation, social behavior. Numerous laws were enacted over the centuries by the Muslim authorities, to implement its principles. It was abolished during the 19th -20th centuries under European pressure and colonization of Arab countries.

Today the resurgence of traditional Islam revitalizes the spirit of jihad against the dar al-harb and of dhimmitude for the non-Muslim minorities.

Rights of Non-Muslims under Islamic Rule

Zimmis (Dhimmis) and Religious Practices

Muslims believe that the Zimmis are Mushrikun (polytheists) for they see the belief in the Trinity as belief in three gods. Islam is the only true religion, they claim. Therefore, to protect Muslims from corruption, especially against the unforgivable sin of shirk (polytheism), its practice is forbidden among Muslims, because it is considered the greatest abomination. When Christians practice it publicly, it becomes an enticement and exhortation to apostasy. It is significant here to notice that according to Muraghi, Zimmis and infidels are polytheists and therefore, must have the same treatment. According to Muslim jurists, the following legal ordinances must be enforced on Zimmis (Christians and Jews alike) who reside among Muslims:

1) Zimmis are not allowed to build new churches, temples, or synagogues. They are allowed to renovate old churches or houses of worship provided they do not allow to add any new construction. "Old churches" are those which existed prior to Islamic conquests and are included in a peace accord by Muslims. Construction of any church, temple, or synagogue in the Arab Peninsula (Saudi Arabia) is prohibited. It is the land of the Prophet and only Islam should prevail there. Yet, Muslims, if they wish, are permitted to demolish all non-Muslim houses of worship in any land they conquer.

2) Zimmis are not allowed to pray or read their sacred books out loud at home or in churches, lest Muslims hear their prayers.

3) Zimmis are not allowed to print their religious books or sell them in public places and markets. They are allowed to publish and sell them among their own people, in their churches and temples.

4) Zimmis are not allowed to install the cross on their houses or churches since it is a symbol of infidelity.

5) Zimmis are not permitted to broadcast or display their ceremonial religious rituals on radio or television or to use the media or to publish any picture of their religious ceremonies in newspaper and magazines.

6) Zimmis are not allowed to congregate in the streets during their religious festivals; rather, each must quietly make his way to his church or temple.

7) Zimmis are not allowed to join the army unless there is indispensable need for them in which case they are not allowed to assume leadership positions but are considered mercenaries.

Mawdudi, who is a Hanifite, expresses a more generous opinion toward Christians. He said:

"In their own towns and cities they are allowed to do so (practice their religion) with the fullest freedom. In purely Muslim areas, however, an Islamic government has full discretion to put such restrictions on their practices as it deems necessary."

The Jizya (tribute): Pay Islamist so you can stay alive under Islamist oppression and be left alone.

Jizya literally means penalty. It is a protection tax levied on non-Muslims living under Islamic regimes, confirming their legal status. Mawdudi states that "the acceptance of the Jizya establishes the sanctity of their lives and property, and thereafter neither the Islamic state, nor the Muslim public have any right to violate their property, honor or liberty." Paying the Jizya is a symbol of humiliation and submission because Zimmis are not regarded as citizens of the Islamic state although they are, in most cases, natives to the country. Such an attitude alienates the Zimmis from being an essential part of the community. How can a Zimmi feel at home in his own land, among his own people, and with his own government, when he knows that the Jizya, which he pays, is a symbol of humiliation and submission? In his book The Islamic Law Pertaining to non-Muslims, Sheikh `Abdulla Mustafa Al-Muraghi indicates that the. Jizya can only be exempted from the Zimmi who becomes a Muslim or dies. The Shafi`i reiterates that the Jizya is not automatically put aside when the Zimmi embraces Islam. Exemption from the Jizya has become an incentive to encourage Zimmis to relinquish their faith and embrace Islam.

Sheik Najih Ibrahim Ibn Abdulla summarizes the purpose of the Jizya. He says, quoting Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya, that the Jizya is enacted:

"...to spare the blood (of the Zimmis), to be a symbol of humiliation of the infidels and as an insult and punishment to them, and as the Shafi`ites indicate, the Jizya is offered in exchange for residing in an Islamic country." Thus Ibn Qayyim adds, "Since the entire religion belongs to God, it aims at humiliating ungodliness and its followers, and insulting them. Imposing the Jizya on the followers of ungodliness and oppressing them is required by God's religion. The Qur'anic text hints at this meaning when it says: `until they give the tribute by force with humiliation.' (Qur'an 9:29). What contradicts this is leaving the infidels to enjoy their might and practice their religion as they wish so that they would have power and authority."

Saudi Arabia publicly beheads a woman in Mecca

A woman convicted of killing her step-daughter was publicly beheaded in Saudi Arabia taking the total number of executions in 2015 to nine.

Authorities in Saudi Arabia publicly beheaded a woman in the holy city of Mecca this week, according to footage sent to MEE on Thursday and local media reports.

Laila Bint Abdul Muttalib Basim, a Burmese resident of Saudi Arabia, was convicted of torturing and killing her seven-year-old step-daughter and executed by the sword on Monday.

Footage of the execution shows Basim being dragged into a street and held down by four police officers.

“I did not kill, I did not kill,” she is heard to shout repeatedly.

Basim then screamed as a sword-wielding man struck her neck. Second and third blows completed the beheading and authorities swiftly removed her body from the road moments later.

Human rights activists in Saudi Arabia explained how the woman was executed.

“Authorities have two methods of beheading people,” said Mohammed al-Saeedi, from the Eastern Province. “One way is to inject the prisoner with painkillers to numb the pain and the other is without the painkiller.”

“This woman was beheaded without painkillers – they wanted to make the pain more powerful for her.”

A Ministry of Interior statement said the execution had been done to protect “security”.

“The Ministry of Interior announces this news to confirm that the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may God protect him, is greatly concerned with restoring security and realising justice,” read the statement published by SPA.

“It implements the rulings of God against all those who attack innocents and spill their blood. The government warns all those who are seduced into committing similar crimes that the rightful punishment is their fate.”

The case has stirred debate in online forums around the way in which authorities handled the execution.

"I saw a video today of your [Interior Ministry] execution of a Burmese servant for killing her step-child," read one post on an online forum, which saw users generally agree on the punishment but disagree with how it was carried out.

"I don’t object to the sentence, but I do object to the way it was done, which some see as cruel. There are many ways to kill without using a sword, especially for women. The publication of this video will cause a wave of fierce anger around the world, which you will see very soon."

Posters explained that the sword is the "most humane" method of carrying out executions, although some questioned whether the woman was guilty given her exclamation she had not killed her step-daughter.

"A guilty offender, at the moment of execution, is plagued by their conscience, and the best conclusion to an execution is if the sentenced person confesses to the crime. This woman’s insistence that she is innocent and never committed the murder is more than a small sign that we should question how she confessed and the documents according to which she was sentenced."

Saudi Arabia has executed nine people in the first 14 days of 2015. In 2014 they executed a total of 87, up from 78 in 2013, which saw the conservative kingdom record the third highest number of executions, behind Iran and Iraq.

According to Human Rights Watch 72 of the 87 executions in 2014 took place between August and December and 43 percent of those killed were foreign nationals, including two women.

The spike in executions, according to Saeedi, is down to authorities wanting “to show people they are powerful.”

“They used to execute people in central areas of cities but since the beginning of 2014 they beheaded people all over the place,” Saeedi told MEE. “In the past when public executions took place lots of people would gather to watch. “But now, with all the killings, just a few people turn up. When there is an execution in the streets now people just walk on by, because it has become normal.”

“The situation here in Saudi Arabia is dark. And it’s getting darker.”

Footage of the execution was posted to YouTube by numerous people but has been repeatedly taken down by the video sharing website.

The National Organisation for Human Rights in Mecca held Saudi security services responsible for the video’s circulation. The group called for the person who shot the footage to face criminal sanctions.

Mohammed al-Sehli, the group’s spokesperson, told the Mecca news site security services should clear the area before executions are carried out, in order to prevent such “leaks”.

Sehli stressed the importance of investigating the person who shot the video and lodging the maximum possible criminal sanctions against him.

He also said it was “natural” for the woman to be on the ground crying out in pain given “the ugliness of killing a child”.

Saudi ‘cultural vandalism’ of Muslim heritage continues

Sites associated with the life of prophet Muhammad have been close to the hearts of all Muslims for almost one and a half millennia. Over the centuries, rule over these sites has passed through numerous hands, including the Ummayads, Abassids and Ottomans. They are currently under the control of the Saudi royal family, under the self-appointed title “Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques”. This is not just an honorific title but one of substantive authority. It is the Saudis who control which of the 1.6 billion Muslims worldwide are permitted or denied entry for the annual pilgrimage of Hajj.

Despite this title as custodians, the estimated 3.7 mn internationals that flock to Arabia each year for the annual Muslim pilgrimage of Hajj may be hard pressed to find clear evidence of what is traditionally thought of as guardianship. Instead of preserving and protecting holy sites, which the Saudi authorities themselves call a “sacred trust”, critics say they are guilty of “cultural vandalism” there.

The Washington based Institute for Gulf Affairs estimates that 95% of Mecca's millennium-old buildings have been demolished in the past two decades. The one-time desert region now has a skyline, not lit by stars, but by gaudy luxury hotels and flashy shopping malls hosting the likes of McDonalds, Starbucks, Baskin Robbins, and several Paris Hilton boutiques.

Pilgrims who have scrimped and saved for a once in a lifetime spiritual journey to the heartland of Islamic history and want, for example, to visit the site of the home of Muhammad’s first wife Khadijah will now find a block of 1,400 public toilets in the place where her home once stood. In place of the mosque of Abu Bakr – the first Caliph of Islam - they will now find a cash point. Cemeteries dating back over 1,000 years have been razed. Mountains have been crushed just to make way for car parks.

Global criticism has been muted to a large degree by fears that challenging the Saudi authorities would lead them to exert their control over the visa process; a risk not many Muslims are willing to take. Saudi Arabia also controls country quotas, i.e. how many pilgrims from each country can be admitted each year, leading to scant criticism at a government level.

Occasionally though there is vocal international condemnation of Saudi’s razing of Islamic heritage sites. In 2003, for example, an ancient Ottoman fortress that once guarded Mecca from attack and which dated back over 200 years was completely demolished only to be replaced with a giant 601 metre Mecca Royal Hotel Clock Tower - the third tallest building in the world. This did not go unnoticed and the Turkish Minister of Culture strongly condemned the destruction of the Ecyad Castle stating “I condemn the pulling down of Ecyad Castle as an act of barbarism.” He said, “Speaking on behalf of the Turkish State and Nation, after such destruction, it seems difficult to consider Saudi Arabia in a friendly light. This is not only disrespect to history, but is also a move to eliminate Turkish culture from their world and history.” However, while it may be the case that there is some sort of nationalistic element behind removing evidence of other cultures from their land, there is certainly much more to it than that.

From a Saudi perspective, the changes are all necessary. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal has dismissed criticisms and defended the developments saying “Of all the countries that have ruled Makkah, Saudi Arabia has undertaken the greatest reforms in the city. The expansion projects are conducted in a modern and sophisticated manner.” The Saudis claim that the multi-billion dollar expansion projects they are working on (including at least $6 bn to expand the Prophet’s mosque in Medina, $21 bn to expand the mosque in Mecca as well as $16.5 bn to modernise the transport system in Mecca) are necessary to accommodate the increasing number of pilgrims who flock to the region every year, and there is certainly some validity to that point. In terms of health and safety alone it is significant that more than two thousand people have been killed in stampedes due to overcrowding in the last couple of decades. Modernisation is clearly called for.

Not even Saudi’s staunchest detractors deny that expansion and development is needed but the expansion could easily be done in a way that also accommodates the preservation of ancient sites. Dr Irfan Al-Alawi, the Executive Director of the Islamic Heritage Research Foundation, a centre dedicated to the preservation of historical sites in Saudi, says “We do not deny that expansion is needed but there are ways they could expand while still preserving the historic sites. They could even move some of the buildings, hotels and so on just a mile further away into the desert area.”

One of the explanations as to why they do not do that is simple economics. The religious tourism industry is substantial with $16.5 bn in revenues in 2012 alone. According to Al-Arabiya, Mecca is one of, if not the most expensive areas of real estate in the world with the price of one square metre able to sell for well over $100,000. A royal suite in one of the Abraj al-Bait hotels can cost over $5,880 for a single night. That is quite a motivation when weighing up economics versus preserving an ancient burial plot or a centuries-old mosque.

There also seems to be a religious agenda behind the façade of modernity and development. Experts like Dr Al-Alawi directly blames the austere brand of “wahabism” that many Saudis adhere to as the motivating factor behind the destruction of historic sites. He argues that it is their fear of people committing shirk - associating anything or anyone with God – that is the driving force behind the destruction. While all Muslims consider shirk a sin, it seems the Saudis are taking their interpretation so far that they are trying to wipe out any place of historical significance that people might potentially attribute holy status to beyond those clearly set out in the Quran.

A prime example is the site where prophet Muhammad is believed to have possibly been born. At one point it was turned into a cattle market, then a library in the 1950s, and the Saudis are now on course to tear that library down, excavate the site and build part of the expanded palace, or Imam’s residence in its place. In fact, almost as if to pre-empt and quell any outrage in advance they have put up a sign at the location stating: “There is no proof that Prophet Muhammad was born in this place, so it is forbidden to make this place specific for praying, supplicating or get blessing.”

Religious figures in Saudi are cementing the status quo by not speaking out and on the contrary supporting expansion despite its impact on heritage sites. A case in point would be Saudi’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Abdullah al-Sheikh who has not only commended efforts to expand the mosques but have said that people should thank the government for the expansion projects.

Islamic historians like Dr Irfan Al-Alawi emphasise that international pressure is an important way to halt further destruction. According to him, several times in the past the municipality have changed their plans to demolish one historic structure or another as a result of negative international publicity. He called for people to keep up the momentum of complaining when Islamic heritage sites are at risk.

When asked why people are not doing more to prevent this cultural vandalism, as he calls it, Dr Al Alawi said “Muslims should have reacted to this years ago, but now we have incompetent people who lack the knowledge and experience to comment on the destruction.”

It seems that if any other group was responsible for wiping out 95% of historical sites in a city considered to be as holy as Mecca is to Muslims, there would be widespread international condemnation. Whether it is fear, economics, an austere interpretation of Islamic teachings or anything else motivating this silence, it is already too late for many historically and religiously significant sites and artefacts in Mecca and Medina to be saved.

People are already mockingly referring to Mecca as a new Las Vegas. If Muslims want to retain any of the spiritual and religious integrity of their Islamic heritage sites, they need to start acting now before it really is too late.

Mohammad's 7th century Bedouin tribe moon god named Allah is a deity of the underworld. Why else do you think Islam is represented by the Crescent Moon. And notice how Islam prays with their butts facing up in disrespect to Heaven/God of the Living and their face/head is pointing down when they pray to their god of the underworld, a demonic spirit. The Arab tribes have been killing each other since the beginning of time and still are for domination. Then the apostle went out to the market of Medina and dug trenches in it. Then he sent for them and struck off their heads in those trenches as they were brought out to him in batches. Among them was the enemy of Allah Huyayy bin Akhtab and Kab bin Asad their chief. There were 600 or 700 in all, though some put the figure as high as 800 or 900. As they were being taken out in batches to the Apostle they asked Kab what he thought would be done with them. He replied, "Will you never understand? Don't you see that the summoner never stops and those who are taken away do not return? By Allah it is death!" This went on until the Apostle made an end of them”.

A History of Islam: Its Origins, its Rise and its Decline

Mohammad was an orphaned child, raised by his uncle and cousin. Mohammad worked as a caravan trader and married a very wealthy powerful widow who was much older than him.

The Islamic world now lives in the age of the Quran, a book that was created by the very family that Mohammed fought against, by the very caliphs who exterminated Mohammed's family. Almost as important as the Quran (and, in fact, more important for practical purposes, are the hadith, that were compiled over the centuries by different groups of ulama.

The Mecca before Mohammed was a model of religious tolerance. Pilgrims came from all over the peninsula to worship their gods. The chief god was Hubal, the Syrian god of the moon, chief god of Mecca. There was also a god named Allah, lord of the kaba, the Arab name for Enlil, an ancient Mesopotamiam god. who had three daughters.

In the 4th century a man named Qusayy gained control of Mecca, collected the nearby idols, created a monopoly of pilgrimage and established the tribe of Quraysh as the wardians of the shrine ("the tribe of Allah"). Qusayy created an economic empire based on the lucrative captive market of pilgrims and on the advantages provided by the Kaba (Mecca as a sanctuary was exempt from warfare, the great commercial fairs coincided with the pilgrimage cycle). But the wealth of the Meccan elite violated the egalitarian spirit of the tribe and created social layers, with the Quraysh elite at the top. Usury became commonplace. Accumulation of individual wealth replaced the communitarian spirit of the Beduin tribe. Individual inheritance became commonplace, and this led to a patrilinear society.

There was much wealth in Arabia, although it was mostly traveling across it. Arabian trade routes to India became strategic to the Romans because of continuous warfare against the Sassanids.

At one point the Arabs were surrounded by Christians: Byzanthium in the north, Yemen in the south and Ethiopia to the east. Then there were the Zoroastrians of the Persian empire, and the Jews who had settled in the Arabian peninsula itself. Therefore the Arabian peninsula was the only place in the world where the three monotheistic religions met.

Somehow this religious tolerance upset many people, and several "prophets" emerged during the sixth and seventh centuries. One of them eventually succeeded... Mohammad.

Mohammed, an orphan at young age, was raised by his uncle with his younger cousin Ali. He worked as a caravan trader and married a widow who was much older than him. This widow, Khadija, was an exception in a male-dominated society: she was rich and she was powerful. It is likely that it was thank to her that young Mohammed became respected. It was in fact Khadija the first one who believed in Mohammed's visions. One can speculate that maybe it was Khadija who manufactured the whole story of the "messenger from Allah". After all, her only way to gain power in Mecca was through her husband. (Khadija was exposed to monotheism way before Mohammed: her cousin Waraqah ibn Nawfal was a Christian monk who had translated part of the Old Testament from Hebrew into Arabic).

The other early believers were: cousin Ali, Mohammed's slave Zayd, and finally Abu Bakr, a wealthy Qurayshi trader. Whatever the cause, at some point Mohammed started preaching against the kahins and for restoring an egalitarian society. More importantly, Mohammed adopted the view that Allah was not only the lord of Mecca, but the only god that Mecca should worship.

Mohammed's program was clearly a threat to the power of the Quraysh tribe: Mohammed's exclusive monotheism (all the other gods are false gods) would disrupt the economics of Mecca; and Mohammed's egalitarian program would disrupt the politics of Mecca. He had to leave the city and find shelter in Medina.

Medina, a Jewish city, probably provided a more favorable environment for his strict monotheism than the Beduin-inspired ethics of Mecca. In Mecca he and his "companions" basically created a commune according to a set of radical social, religious and economic reforms. To start with, Mohammed was both the shaykh, hakam and kahin. The tribe was not defined by genetics but by the "shahadah" (accepting Allah as the only god and Mohammed as his prophet). Any member of any tribe was welcome to become a member of Medina's new tribe (the "ummah"). Mohammed's egalitarian society was based on redistribution of wealth. Usury was banned. A mandatory charity ("zakat") was instituted.

After the first bloody battle, Mohammed also introduced a stricter form of patrilinear society in which women could not marry more than one man. Polygyny was accepted, probably to save the ummah after the war with the Quraysh (hundreds of widows and orphans) but it was now limited to four wives. Nonetheless, Mohammed married nine women in Medina, including nine year-old Aisha (probably reflecting the old tradition that the power of a shaykh was proportional to his harem).

Mohammed died after conquering Mecca. He was surprisingly generous with the Quraysh who had tried to assassinate him, leaving them pretty much in power. This was possibly a compromise reached by the two parties.

At Mohammed's death there was no Islam. Mohammed had simply created a social reform movement and a small kingdom. He had not created a body of religious beliefs and rituals.

The problem is that Mohammed died without naming a successor or a succession rule. Since his tribe was now the tribe of all tribes, it was not clear which tribe was entitled to appoint a successor. The Quraysh claimed the right, based on the fact that they still controlled Mecca (and probably a huge army and a huge wealth). The tribe of Ali claimed it because it was Mohammed's tribe, and because Mohammed seemed to have named Ali as his successor although this was (and is) disputed. Abu Bakr was chosen as the compromise: he was one of Mohammed's early followers and he was a Quraysh. Abu Bakr's caliphate was initially devoted to keep the tribes together, as many were trying to secede following the death of Mohammed. But within a year Abu Bakr declared war to the Byzantine and Sassanid empires and managed to conquer Mesopotamia from the Sassanids and a piece of Syria from Byzanthium. Before being poisoned to death (an event that remains largely mysterious), Abu Bakr named his successor: Umar. He is the one who finished the job: he conquered the whole of Palestine, Syria and Egypt, as well as the whole of the Sassanid empire.

A Persian slave murdered Umar. The Mecca elite chose Uthman, a wealthy Quraysh, as the new caliph, angering Ali's followers. Ali had been denied the caliphate three times now. Uthman simply restored the power of the Quraysh in all its corrupt glory, appointing close relatives and friends to all the important posts around the newly formed empire. Ali's followers saw this succession as a coup by Mohammed's enemies, who were basically undoing what Mohammed had preached and done. There is little historical question that this is precisely what Uthman and his dynasty (the Umayyads) did, but they won the confrontation against Ali's followers. Uthman, probably fully aware of the importance of having religion on his side, is the caliph who had the Quran assembled in its current form. The Quran was therefore a book put together by order of the most corrupt of the early caliphs and an enemy of Mohammed. To make sure that his version of the facts would never be contested, Uthman had all other scriptures burned in Medina. Anyone who questioned the authenticity of Uthman's Quran was persecuted and probably did not survive to tell his story. Islam as it is today is the result of this corrupt dictator's actions, of an enemy of Mohammed. Uthman was so unpopular that there were revolts against his rule throughout the empire. He was eventually murdered during one these revolts. Ali was finally made the caliph. He proceeded to undo much of what Uthman had done. However, after a bloody civil war, Uthman's cousin Mu'awiya eventually defeated Ali's armies and Ali was murdered by a Kharijite (a small sect that was allied with Ali against the Quraysh but eventually seceded). The Quraysh tribe regained control of the empire and transformed itself into the Umayyad dynasty, with capital in Damascus (in the more comfortable and safe Christian land of Syria). In fact, the second Umayyad's caliph, Yazid, Mu'awiya's son, massacred Mohammed's family, notably his grandson Husayn, in Karbala in 680. That was the real ending of the war between Mohammed and the Quraysh: the Quraysh won, Mohammed lost. Yazid quickly quelled the rebellions that erupted throughout the empire, especially in the Arabian peninsula. Mecca and Medina were raided and thousands of people were killed.

It is likely that Ali's followers, the Shiites (and the Kharijites), were in favor of Mohammed's original egalitarian ideas, whereas the Quraysh/Umayyads simply wanted wealth and power. The former saw the victories against the Christians and the Zoroastrians as proof that Mohammed had been sent by Allah; the latter saw them as an unbelievable opportunity to live luxurious lives. Which they proceeded to do for the next century, totally abandoning the desert lifestyle of their ancestors. In 749 their corrupt dynasty was brought to an end by a Persian general, who installed a new dynasty, the Abbasid dynasty, and moved the capital to the Persian city of Baghdad. The entire bureaucracy of the empire was already largely Persian and Greek and Jewish. After the deadly coup, it became mostly Persian. The Arabs had lost power (despite professions that the Abbasids descended from Mohammed's family, a claim that no Shiite bought).

Whatever the origin of the Quran, the various political groups were fighting for control of the new empire. Most of them did not even try to find justification in the Quran. They were simply warlords intent on invading other people's lands, like all previous warlords of all previous empires had done.

What Mohammed had said mattered only to a tiny percentage of the population. As the caliphs fought for secular power, a new class emerged that was devoted solely to the religious aspect of the new empire: the "ulama". As very few people were familiar with Mohammed's teachings, the ulama were in charge of collecting them and interpreting them and passing them on to future generations. The ulama are the ones who defined Islam, by collecting the "hadith" that complement the Quran and by providing the "correct" interpretations of the Quran. They used the Quran and the hadith to work out a set of rules that defined how a good Muslim was supposed to behave, and even a set of laws for creating an Islamic society, the shariha. Thus Islam was hijacked a second time, or, better, a religion was invented that was only loosely based on what Mohammed had truly meant. The ulama used Mohammed's actions and words as the basis for creating something that Mohammed had never intended to create. In fact, there were different schools of ulama, each school coming up with different interpretations.

After a little over a century, the Abbasid empire began to implode. The Buyids (Shiites) seized de facto control of Persia. The Fatimids (Shiites) seize power in Egypt. The last of the Umayyads reigned over Spain. Soon the Turks began to descend from the Central Asian steppes and, while promptly converting to whatever Islam was, they slowly replaced the Persians as the leaders of the empire. Eventually the Ottoman Turks managed to reunited a large part of the Islamic world under one sultan.

Throughout this bloody soap opera, the scriptures (both the hadith and the interpretation of the Quran) had largely evolved independently, continuously revised by the reigning ulama. Until the 20th century, very few people could actually read it (literacy was very low in the Islamic lands). Besides, the Quran (according to the ulama) cannot be translated, and in those days very few Muslims understood Arabic (even today Arabs are a minority). The caliphs and sultans, besides the millions of ordinary Muslims, were largely indifferent to what the ulama were saying. The political leaders simply used Islam (as defined by the ulama) to impose some order on society. While the ulama were intolerant towards other religions, the political leaders were mostly very tolerant. Jews and Christians featured prominently in the political and the economic life of the Islamic empire. The political leaders cared for results, not for theology.

The Quran became very influential only in recent times. It never truly mattered before the "renewal movement" that started in the 19th century, largely united by the Mecca pilgrimages (where Muslims from all over the world exchanged ideas) and influenced by the radical thinking of the Arabian peninsula. That renewal movement never went too far because it did not have the funds to establish itself throughout the Islamic world. In the age of oil, Saudi Arabia became rich. The Arabian peninsula had never been rich or influential before in its entire history. It had been largely neglected and marginalized by all the empires that ruled it, starting with the very Umayyads that came from the Arabian peninsula (and moved the capital to Syria) and then through the Abbasids (who moved the capital to Baghdad) and the Ottomans (who ruled from Istanbul). For centuries the Arabian peninsula had been one of the least relevant provinces of those empires. When it became a main oil producer and oil became a precious resource for the West, Saudi Arabia suddenly emerged as an economic power within the Islamic world. Many of its business men were from families that had traditional ties to the radical groups of the peninsula, the ones who had been associated with the "renewal movement" from its beginning. The "charities" set up by these business men indirectly helped radical clerics to turn the Quran into a very important book for the entire Islamic world. The Quran had never been as popular and important for Muslims as it became at the end of the 20th century.

The Islamic world now lives in the age of the Quran, a book that was created by the very family that Mohammed fought against, by the very caliphs who exterminated Mohammed's family. Almost as important as the Quran (and, in fact, more important for practical purposes, are the hadith, that were compiled over the centuries by different groups of ulama.

Whether Mohammed was a good man or not, an Arab or a Jew, and whether he truly intended to found a new religion or simply to defend the Christian or Judaistic religion, we may never know. What we do know is that Islam as it is today has little to do with Mohammed's will, and probably goes against his will.

Anyone who says that the modern terrorists hijacked Islam forgets to mention that Islam was hijacked a long time ago. So it is not clear what the terrorists are hijacking.
