Both men had active warrants for their arrest for their previous crimes and were still given very low bail. That is not okay. The Commie Democrat prosecutors and judges keep putting the publics life and private property at risk allowing these criminals who don't value life out on the street. Being kind to these criminals is not teaching them the errors of their ways. We have a lack of self-control problem, a criminal supremacists problem and a Commie Democrats local district attorney's, judges, parole officers soft on crime problem, not doing shit to catch the criminals as in crimes go unsolved, and when they do catch the criminals, they immediately release them back onto the streets to allow them to continue terrorizing the community. These same people siding with the criminals want to take away YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to keep and bear arms in order to defend yourself, your business, your family and home against these criminal supremacists and a tyrannical government. Remember, criminals DO NOT obey laws. Therefore, criminals will have access to guns through gun trafficking venues and you will be left defenseless with no guns because the same government siding with criminals THEY'RE ALLOWING to terrorize you with guns said they wanted to keep you safe from guns. The anti-gun prosecutors are not even prosecuting gun crimes. But god forbid you kill an intruder, robber or rapist in self-defense in your home or on your private property, these same Commie Democrat district attorneys or prosecutors will charge you with murder and have you locked up for years in prison. MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two men were arrested after being accused of a shooting in Highland Heights on Sunday night.
Memphis Police officers say they responded to a shots fired call in the Tillman Street and Given Avenue area around 11:49 p.m. Two homes and one car had been hit by gunfire.
Police say they found more than 100 shell casings on the scene.
A witness stated he heard gunshots and saw several men with guns run inside a home on Given Avenue, reports state. Video taken by neighbors shows the moments Memphis Police swarmed Given Avenue and demanded the people in the house surrender.
“The police surrounded the house, and they were all behind their cars and stuff with their shotguns and everything trained on the house. And then they started shouting, ‘Memphis Police, come out with your hands up,'” said James Nolan who lives across the street from the home.
Neighbors said police made several commands before they got a warrant and went inside the house.
Suspects Demarcus Sherrod, 29, and Byron Kelley, 19, walked out of the house with several minors and were detained on the scene, officers say.
Neighbors told us there were two shootings that day. Nolan said it started in the afternoon when he heard gunshots and it appeared a bunch of young people were having a shootout with a car on intersecting Tillman Road.
“It was like a machine gun,” he said. “And then you could hear the pistols popping.”
Nolan said his truck was caught in the crossfire and police arrived when it happened again several hours later.
Reports state that the homeowner did not consent for anyone to be inside the home. It had no utilities, and an extension cord was being used to power the house.
🚨👉Sherrod and Kelley were both verified for having an active warrant 👈🚨 when their name was checked through the National Crime Information Center, according to police. They were taken to the Felony Response Bureau and later to jail.
Sherrod is charged with Criminal Trespassing, Aggravated Robbery, and Possession of a Firearm/Dangerous Felony. Bond is set at $75,000. He also is accused in a May robbery at a liquor store on Summer Avenue.
Kelley is charged with Criminal Trespassing, Evading Arrest, Intentionally Evading Arrest in Auto, No Driver’s License, and Theft of Property. Bond was set at $11,500. 👈🚨
They are both scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday morning.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Nearly 200 rounds from multiple guns were fired during a shootout Sunday just off Jackson Avenue in northeast Memphis.
Police say there was a gunfight along Wales Avenue among several men, who were using several guns. Investigators recovered 173 shell casings fired from five different weapons.
No one was injured, but there was collateral damage, as homes and other properties along Wales were hit and windows shattered in the middle of the night.
Some said they are moving out as violence is moving into Nutbush.
