JAPAN: A 6.3 Magnitude Earthquake Hit Okinawa On Monday. Affected Countries Japan, Taiwan, and China.

I took these screenshots above. I had to go verify this information because no one else is reporting this news other than these two news sources. I found out from a TikTok video.

Dutchsinse hasn't uploaded any new earthquake, volcano videos on his YouTube channel for the past 7 days. I hope he's okay. (emphasis mine)

TOKYO - An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.4 struck the Japanese prefecture of Okinawa, said the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) on Monday.

According to the agency, the temblor occurred at 10:21 p.m. local time (1321 GMT) at a depth of 170 km, measuring 3 on Japan's seismic intensity scale which peaks at 7.

The temblor's epicenter was located off Japan's northwestern Miyako Island at a latitude of 26.5 degrees north and a longitude of 125.2 degrees east.

No tsunami warning has been issued following the quake.

NEW DELHI: A 6.3-magnitude earthquake hit Japan's Hirara on Monday. This was was confirmed by the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

Earlier this month, prime minister Fumio Kishida staged a televised disaster drill based on a fictional earthquake in the capital region, as his country marked the centennial of of the real-life 1923 Great Kanto Quake that killed more 1,00,000 people.

The 7.9-magnitude earthquake that struck the Sagamihara area southwest of Tokyo on September 1, 1923, just before noon triggered a widespread inferno in the region, causing most of the victims to perish in the fire.

An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 struck northeast of Taiwan region on Monday, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said. The quake was at a depth of 171km (106.25 miles), GFZ said.
