The Watchers, The Grigori And Their Chant To God. As I Was Reading I Kept Picturing The Vampire Strigoi From The FX TV Series, The Strain. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Jonathan Kleck Talks About Omikron Fallen Angels

Who really needs forgiveness?

Grigori are fallen angels, or Watchers. Armed with this knowledge, you now have a broader view of the Catholic Church and religion in general. There is more to this story than the church admits. Follow the trail and learn the story. Links provided.

WIKI

"Watcher (Aramaic, ืขִื™ืจ, iyr; Theodotian trans: ir; from the root of Heb. `er, "awake, watchful";[1] Greek: แผฮณฯฮฎฮณฮฟฯฮฟฮน, transl.: egrฤ“́goroi; Slav transliteration, Grigori,[2] "Watchers", "those who are awake"; Chaldean, "guard", "watcher"[3]) is a term used in connection with biblical angels. Watcher occurs in both plural and singular forms in the Book of Daniel (2nd century BC), where reference is made to their holiness. The apocryphal Books of Enoch (1st and 2nd centuries BC) refer to both good and bad Watchers, with a primary focus on the rebellious ones."
Remember in my previous post Dr. Thomas Horn told us about the Sibyl:

According to Virgil and the Cumae Sibyl whose prophecy formed the "Novus Ordo Seclorum" on the Great Seal of the United States the New World Order begins during a time of chaos when the Earth and the Oceans are tottering. A time like today.

This is when the son of promise will suddenly arrive on Earth, Apollo encarnate, a pagan savior born of the new breed of men sent down from heaven when heroes and gods are blended together. This sounds verily similar to what The Watchers did during the creation of Genesis 6 giants doesn't it? And why many believe that anti-Christ also represents the return of the Nephilim.

But to understand why such a fanciful prophecy about Apollo son of Jupiter returning to Earth should be important to you, in ancient literature Jupiter was the Roman replacement of Yahweh as the greatest of the gods. He was a counter Yahweh. His son Apollo is a replacement of Jesus. A counter Jesus. (emphasis mine)
Now that you know the Grigori, examine the Dies Irae, or medieval Latin chant of the Grigori (fallen watchers). Gregorian Chant is part of the Catholic Liturgy. WIKI

1. Day of wrath and doom impending,
David's word with Sibyl's blending,
Heaven and earth in ashes ending!

---The day of wrath is coming for the fallen beings. David has a connection to the oracle Sibyl. WIKI Heaven AND Earth ending in ashes. The Bible speaks of a war in Heaven.

2. Oh, what fear man's bosom rendeth,
When from heaven the Judge descendeth,
On whose sentence all dependeth.

---The question here is simple. Who are the Grigori? What connection does man have to the fallen beings? Are we those beings?

3. Wondrous sound the trumpet flingeth;
Through earth's sepulchres it ringeth;
All before the throne it bringeth.

---A sepulcher is a grave. The trumpet restores the one dead to life again.

4. Death is struck, and nature quaking,
All creation is awaking,
To its Judge an answer making.

---What answer will be given for the fallen beings who corrupted mankind? What debt does mankind have to pay in this? Again, what is our relationship to the watchers and why are the church leaders lamenting the Grigori?

5. Lo! the book, exactly worded,
Wherein all hath been recorded:
Thence shall judgement be awarded.

---Here, judgement is an award rather than a debt to be paid. What is being awarded? Is it a contest? The books of life record all history that occurs. Again, what part is man playing in this and why are we devoid of the presuppositions necessary to understand what is going on? Who is this written to? God is love according to 1 John. Love keeps no records of wrongs according to 1 Corinthians 13. Does this mean the books only contain good deeds?

6. When the Judge his seat attaineth,
And each hidden deed arraigneth,
Nothing unavenged remaineth.

---Who is arraigned? Who suffers and what is avenged? Again, keep in mind who is chanting. The Grigori.

7. What shall I, frail man, be pleading?
Who for me be interceding,
When the just are mercy needing?

---In other words, who will the scapegoat for man be when the advocate of man pleads the case? Again, who are the Grigori and why are they chanting?

8. King of Majesty tremendous,
Who dost free salvation send us,
Fount of pity, then befriend us!

---Salvation from the error of the Grigori is the salvation in question. Many people have often asked, "What are we saved from?"

9. Think, kind Jesu!–my salvation
Caused thy wondrous Incarnation;
Leave me not to reprobation!

---Who is the 'me' above? The Grigori. Why is this a function of the church? Who influences these chants through history?

10. Faint and weary, Thou hast sought me,
On the Cross of suffering bought me.
Shall such grace be vainly brought me?

---Was it in vain that he died on the cross? Why did God require the Son of God to suffer in this way? Who is he saving and why are the Grigori chanting this lament through the church?

11. Righteous Judge! for sin's pollution
Grant Thy gift of absolution,
Ere the day of retribution.

---In other words, please forgive us (Grigori).

12. Guilty, now I pour my moaning,
All my shame with anguish owning;
Spare, O God, Thy suppliant groaning!

13. Through the sinful woman shriven,
Through the dying Thief forgiven,
Thou to me a hope hast given.

---These next verses are what I mainly want to cover. Sinful woman is Eve. Shriven is "to hear the confession of, assign penance to, and absolve (someone). To present oneself to a priest for confession, penance, and absolution." Through the sinful woman God hears their pleading? Through the dying Thief forgiven. Forgiveness comes through a thief? Any thoughts?

I'll skip a few verses to get to the point:

18. Ah! that day of tears and mourning!
From the dust of earth returning
Man for judgement must prepare him;
Spare, O God, in mercy spare him!

---Here, we reach the point. The Grigori are asking God to spare mankind. I will now quote Enoch:

"1 And He answered and said to me, and I heard His voice: 'Fear not, Enoch, thou righteous 2 man and scribe of righteousness: approach hither and hear my voice. And go, say to the Watchers of heaven, who have sent thee to intercede for them:

"You should intercede" for men, and not men 3 for you:

Wherefore have ye left the high, holy, and eternal heaven, and lain with women, and defiled yourselves with the daughters of men and taken to yourselves wives, and done like the children 4 of earth, and begotten giants (as your) sons?

And though ye were holy, spiritual, living the eternal life, you have defiled yourselves with the blood of women, and have begotten (children) with the blood of flesh, and, as the children of men, have lusted after flesh and blood as those also do who die 5 and perish. Therefore have I given them wives also that they might impregnate them, and beget 6 children by them, that thus nothing might be wanting to them on earth. But you were formerly 7 spiritual, living the eternal life, and immortal for all generations of the world. And therefore I have not appointed wives for you; for as for the spiritual ones of the heaven, in heaven is their dwelling. 8 And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon 9 the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling. Evil spirits have proceeded from their bodies; because they are born from men and from the holy Watchers is their beginning and primal origin; 10 they shall be evil spirits on earth, and evil spirits shall they be called. [As for the spirits of heaven, in heaven shall be their dwelling, but as for the spirits of the earth which were born upon the earth, on the earth shall be their dwelling.] And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble: they take no food, but nevertheless 12 hunger and thirst, and cause offences. And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them."

Note the woman mentioned in relation to the children of men. Again, we are not being told the whole story.

From the FX tv series 'The Strain'

"Dr. Ephraim Goodweather, the head of the CDC's New York-based Canary Project, is called upon to investigate when an airplane lands with everybody on board dead. What his team discovers is a viral outbreak that has similarities to an ancient strain of vampirism. As the virus begins to spread, Goodweather works with his team and a group of the city's residents to wage a war that could hold humanity's fate in its hand. The show's executive producers include Oscar-nominated writer Guillermo del Toro and Emmy-winning producer Carlton Cuse."
As I was reading about the Watchers and the Grigori I kept picturing the vampire Strigoi from the FX tv series, The Strain. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ (emphasis mine)

Special emphasis is placed on Vampire — also referred to as Strigoi — biology as mirroring that of parasitic creatures as opposed to supernaturally immortal undead of pop culture (but nevertheless have supernatural roots in their origin since they are essentially perverse creations of The Master, one of seven Ancients who in turn, are the splintered fragments of a fallen angel known as Ozryel). The life cycle and physical adaptations of a human-turned-vampire are covered in great detail throughout the series. They serve as the universal antagonists of the series.

As of the events of the Night Eternal, the entire species was rendered extinct after the Master was destroyed by a nuclear bomb.

The vector for vampirism is a small, needle-thin capillary worm known as the Strain worms, which, once introduced into the human host's bloodstream (either through a vampire's feeding or direct invasion by the worm through a wound or orifice), introduces an incurable and fast-acting virus directly into the hosts body. By manipulating the host's genes, the virus causes a human to undergo numerous, radical physical changes that slowly but inevitably transform them into a mature Strigoi vampire.

Judges 2:13 And they forsook the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth.
**********
So, Jonathan Kleck talks about the fallen angels and David Bowie's videogame he released in 1999 titled, Omikron: The Nomad Soul.

At 20:43 he shows a clip from the videogame:

OMIKRON: Astaroth was locked up for thousand of years by Kushalainn, the hero of the Cobalt Wars. Now that he's free, the demon needs to build up his power again because it dwindled over the centuries. To do so, he needs souls. Thousands of souls.

THE PLAYER: Where does Astaroth's power come from?

OMIKRON: He derives his power from suffering souls. They endure infinite tortures in the Reservoir, it is this endless suffering that will enable him to recover his former power.

THE PLAYER: Why does Astaroth come looking for souls in my dimension?

OMIKRON: The souls here are grey and withered. He can't get much power from them. The juiciest souls are in your dimension. Astaroth created the video game called Omikron in order to capture them. The game you're playing at this very moment.

THE PLAYER: How does Astaroth's game work?

OMIKRON: He uses Omikron to attrack souls. He asks players to put their spirit into a body  in order to enter into our dimension. As soon as the soul has come here it only takes a demon to catch it and take it to Astaroth, who condemns it for all eternity, which very nearly happened to you.

Setting

The Nomad Soul is set in a futuristic city known as Omikron, which is a densely populated metropolis on the world of Phaenon. Omikron exists beneath an enormous crystal dome, which was constructed to protect against the ice age that Phaenon entered into after its sun's extinction. The city is split into different sectors: Anekbah, Qalisar, Jaunpur, Jahangir, and Lahoreh. Because it is forbidden for the inhabitants to leave their respective sectors, each area has developed independently, which is reflected by the divergent lifestyles and architecture.

Plot

At the start of the game, the player is asked by an Omikronian police officer named Kay'l 669 to leave their dimension and enter Omikron within his body. After doing so, the player continues with the investigation of serial killings that Kay'l and his partner were originally working on. The player begins the investigation in the Anekbah sector, where they uncover information that suggests the serial killer they are looking for is not human, but actually a demon. Members of an apparent underground, anti-government movement contact the player and confirm their suspicions.

The investigation deepens and uncovers further information; one of Omikron's chief police commanders, Commandant Gandhar, is a demon pretending to be human and luring human souls into Omikron from other dimensions by way of The Nomad Soul. Kay'l 669 asking the player to help him turned out to be a trap: supposedly, if the in-game character dies, the real human playing the video game will lose their soul forever. Despite many assassination attempts on the protagonist's life by other demons working behind the scenes, the player destroys Gandhar with supernatural weaponry.

After this brief victory, the anti-government movement is revealed to be named "The Awakened", who invite the player to join them. They work in tandem with an ancient religious order led by Boz, a mystical being that exists in purely electronic form on the computer networks of Omikron. The Awakened refer to the protagonist as the "Nomad Soul", since they have the ability to change bodies at will. The Nomad Soul learns afterwards that what is going on in Omikron is merely an extension of an old battle between mankind and demons spearheaded by the powerful Astaroth. Astaroth, who was banished to the depths of Omikron long ago, is slowly regenerating power while using demons to both collect souls and impersonate high members of the government. The Nomad Soul harnesses ancient, magical technology in order to destroy Astaroth. They return to their own dimension, and prevent their soul from being captured by demons.
