I'm Watching My Favorite Movie, Somewhere In Time (1980). I'm A Huge Fan. I Know Every Little Bit Of Minutiae About This Cult Classic...❤ Enjoy! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿฅ‚๐Ÿฟ Message For Adam Aron, CEO Of AMC.

It's one of those nights I just want to cuddle on the couch and watch my favorite movies. This movie tops my list. I wish Somewhere In Time would get more air time on any of the networks so a whole new generation can be touched by this masterpiece. Maybe, just a thought, hopefully Adam Aron the CEO of AMC Theatres and King Silverback Gorilla of Ape Nation is reading this, he might consider it a great idea to play this cult classic movie at AMC theatres across America and possibly other beloved classic movies? You can make it a themed day like Sundays are reserved for the classics or Thursday are reserved for the classics. I believe this idea will have great apeal with the masses especially the older generations that I'm sure AMC would like to attract back into their theatres. It can attract grandparents who would want to take their grandchildren to AMC Theatres to introduce them to their favorite classic movies or a good old fashion date night for the older generations. Pretty please. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿคž

The video above is one of my favorite scenes from this timeless classic. This movie was not a big hit when it was first released in 1980. In fact, it was a flop. But years later, those who were deeply touched by this movie turned it into a cult movie and now have a huge following. Avid fans meet annually at The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan where this movie was filmed. The soundtrack is AMAZING too! I still want to cry when I hear Rachmaninov: Rhapsody On A Theme Of Paganini by John Barry. In this scene, one of the main characters named Elise Mckenna, played by Jane Seymour, has re-written the entire first scene from the play she is acting in. Her heartfelt message is for Richard Collier, played by Christopher Reeve, who is sitting in the audience taken totally by surprise. ๐Ÿ’–

"The man of my dreams is almost faded now. The one I have created in my mind. The sort of man each woman dreams of in the deepest and most secret reaches of her heart. I can almost see him now before me. What would I say to him if he were really here? Forgive me. I've never known this feeling, I've lived without it all my life. Is it any wonder, then, I failed to recognize you? You've brought it to me for the first time. Is there any way that - that I can tell you how my life has changed? Any way at all to let you know what sweetness you have given me? There is so much to say. I can't find the words, except for these... I love you. And that's what I'd say to him if he were really here."

I'll be watching this tonight for the gazillionth time. In heaven. :) ♥

Oh and one more thing before I log off. You must watch this movie from the very beginning. This story begins as soon as you hear the music playing and people chatting. I already have goosebumps just thinking about it. See you later alligators. :)
