Woot! 👏 I'm Enjoying A Superman (1978) Movie Marathon Starring The Late Great Christopher Reeve On DVD. I Am A Happy Camper! :D

Woot Woot! 👏 I'm thrilled to be watching the original Superman movie (1978) starring the late great Christopher Reeve. Yes, again, for the gazillionth time.

Try as they might, no one can replace Christopher Reeve as Superman.💖 Watching Superman makes me one BIG Happy Camper! Heaven. :D

I love that they keep playing the original Superman movies p1-4 for the new generation to enjoy. I hope it inspires new fans. 💖

At the end of the movie, Superman says "Don't thank me warden. We're all part of the same team."

Me 10 years ago wearing my favorite t-shirt.
How big of a fan am I? Here's a picture of my Superman bowling bag and bowling ball. :)

Superman's birth name is Kal-El. I wanted to share these profound words with you by Jor-El, Superman's father played by Marlon Brando. This is Jor-El’s Fortress of Solitude Speech.

I typed a transcript for you below:

Jor-El message to Kal-El: My son, you do not remember me. I am Jor-El. I am your father. By now, you will have reached your 18th year as it is measured on Earth. By that reckoning, I will have been dead for many thousands of your years. The knowledge that I have, matters physical and historic, I have given you fully on your voyage to your new home. These are important matters, to be sure, but still matters of mere fact. There are questions to be asked, and it is time for you to do so. Here in this...this Fortress of Solitude, we shall try to find the answers together. So, my son, speak.

Clark Kent: Who am I?

Jor-El: Your name is Kal-El. You are the only survivor of the planet Krypton. Even though you have been raised as a human being, you are not one of them. You have great powers, only some of which you have as yet discovered.

Come with me now, my son. As we break through the bounds of your earthly confinement traveling through time and space. Your powers will far exceed those of mortal men

It is forbidden for you to interfere with human history, rather, let your leadership stir others to.

In this next year, we shall examine the human heart. It is more fragile than your own.

As we pass the flaming turmoil which is the edge of your own galaxy, we will enter the realm of the red Krypton sun: the source of your strength and nourishment and the cause of our eventual destruction. The planet Krypton, my son. Your home, as it were.

This year we shall examine the various concepts of immortality and their basis in actual fact. The total accumulation of all knowledge spanning the twenty-eight known galaxies is embedded in the crystals which I have sent along with you. Study them well, my son. Learn from them.

By the time you return to the confines of your galaxy, twelve of your years will have passed.

For this reason among others, I have chosen Earth for you.

It is now time for you to rejoin your new world and to serve its collective humanity.

Live as one of them, Kal-El. Discover where your strength and your power are needed. Always hold in your heart the pride of your special heritage. They can be a great people, Kal-El, they wish to be. They only lack the light to show the way. For this reason above all, their capacity for good, I have sent them you, my only son.

💖 I believe in us, the human race. 💖

Lois Lane: Why are you?
Superman: I'm sorry?
Lois Lane: I mean, w-why are you here? There must be a reason for you to be here.
Superman: Yes.
Lois Lane: Mm-hm?
Superman: I'm here to fight for truth and justice and the American way.
Lois Lane: You're gonna end up fighting every elected official in this country!
Superman: I'm sure you don't really mean that, Lois.
Lois Lane: [to herself] I don't believe this.
Superman: Lois, I never lie.
My other favorite scene. Lois Lane, played by Margot Kidder, shares her thoughts as she's flying with Superman...💖

I typed a transcript of the scene for you below:

Lois Lane to Superman: Can you read my mind. Do you know what it is that you do to me. I don't know who you are. Just a friend from another star. Here I am like a kid out of school. Holding hands with a god. I'm a fool. Will you look at me. Quivering. Like a little girl. Shivering. You can see right through me. Can you read my mind. Can you picture the things I'm thinking of. Wondering why you are... all the wonderful things you are. You can fly. You belong in the sky. You and I could belong to each other. If you need a friend, I'm the one to fly to. If you need to be loved, here I am. Read my mind.

✨ Superman by Barbra Streisand ✨
I love to listen to this song.
I will have this love.
I'm a huge Christopher Reeve fan. Since I was a child. There will never be another Superman like the late great Christopher Reeve. He's also the lead actor in my top of the list favorite movie, Somewhere in Time. His beautiful soul sure left an impression on me. 💖

I think I'll enjoy a Christopher Reeve Superman (1978) movie series marathon this evening. 😊👍🌟🐱‍🏍

As you can see in the picture I shared with you below I have a section of my wall dedicated to Christopher Reeve and Barbra Streisand. These pictures make me smile when I look at them. I'm looking for a nice mid-century modern piece of furniture that will fit nicely below these framed pictures to store my vinyl records and have a place for my record player and cd/radio player. It's important that your home brings you peace and joy and reflects your personality. The color of my wall for those of you wondering is called Arizona Sunset. I switch out some of the pictures too every now and then with other Christopher Reeve and Barbra Streisand photos I have.
