The Lord Mayor of San Francisco has announced that playgrounds can open on October 14. Probably. With children at least 6 feet apart from each other, and ages 2 and up in masks. Some of us won’t wait. And I sure as hell am not putting a mask on my 3 year old. pic.twitter.com/3lPpbZm42L

Why does BLM co-founder and the San Francisco Mayor get to hang out at social clubs maskless?
— Noah Ring (@TheNoahRing) September 21, 2021
But not San Francisco children in school? The only standards Democrats have are double standards.
San Francisco mayor clubbing & partying maskless while your children’s breathing is obstructed attending a maximum security confinement center aka school. pic.twitter.com/1FRAKS4kO7

Yes! Meanwhile the Mayor of SanFrancisco & the co-founder of BLM party hard… because they don’t need to obey these rules…but your children apparently do. https://t.co/OKm1J2LryO

I’m excited to see our Shared Spaces legislation pass unanimously at the Board, which means that the parklets and outdoor dining we’ve come to love will now continue permanently in San Francisco! pic.twitter.com/jNgeKLZW2V

Cool, but can we have our bike lanes back? We kinda come to love it too pic.twitter.com/nBx6MF2jK3

Now to get rid of all the other parking spaces!
— insane people tweets (@MatthewShor) July 14, 2021
they are a lot less ugly than parked cars.
— Dan Connelly (@djconnel) July 14, 2021
they don’t come anywhere close to covering the rental value if the land. Relying on private garages would create private sector jobs and be more secure as well as freeing up public land taken up by street parking.
— Dan Connelly (@djconnel) July 15, 2021
Thats really great considering that the public parking lots & private parking lots for residents w/ cars are being turned into apt bldgs w/o on-site parking. So ppl in neighborhoods that use to have w/ 20 street spots, no parking lot, but pay for CA VLF for street maintenance.

So restraurants w/ parklets are going to pay for street maintenance now?
— MLB ✊🏾(Fully Vaccinated for $Free.99) (@MajorLeagueBtch) July 14, 2021
Restrauants are going to pay for DPW to clean the street draining so that when it rains heavily the parklets don't sit in a foot of water?
Bright side at night the rats & raccoons have places to hangout.
This is NOT exciting news. You ppl are making SF worse than it already is. No space for cars to park. You guys just keep pushing actual natives out of the city

Today I introduced legislation to allow fourplexes in residential zoning districts across San Francisco. We're going to have to make much bigger moves than this to address our housing shortage, but this is a meaningful step in the right direction. https://t.co/ohycz7AIqR

San Francisco just announced 9 affordable housing projects moving forward, with nearly 1,000 units of new affordable housing.
— Senator Scott Wiener (@Scott_Wiener) May 28, 2021
All will be expedited by #SB35, legislation I authored to streamline housing approvals. This could save years of approval time. https://t.co/7LeQxhyoYC
Gun violence in SF was up 100% in the first six months of 2021. There were a total of 145 people shot in SF in the first 6 months of 2021. SF could finish 2021 with nearly 300 people shot if violence continues at the same pace seen in the first 6 months.https://t.co/k1jZ97eA85
