But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

- Galatians 5:22-23

You may not know it, but when you gave your life to Christ Jesus, all the fruits of the [Holy] Spirit were planted inside you in seed form. Through the [Holy] Spirit you can experience joy and peace in every circumstance, no matter how difficult or painful.

You may not be a naturally patient person, but you can call on the [Holy] Spirit within to produce patience. If you’re battling unhealthy behaviors, like an addiction or some kind of bad habit, the [Holy] Spirit can give you the ability to resist the devil and make healthy choices.

The apostle Paul put it this way: When we were controlled by our old nature, sinful desires were at work within us, and the law aroused these evil desires that produced a harvest of sinful deeds, resulting in death. But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power.

Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the [Holy] Spirit. (Romans 7:5-6 NLT)

On your own, it would be impossible. But when you operate in the [Holy] Spirit, you have a supernatural ability to overcome. What a precious gift! And the more you draw near to God, praying and reflecting on His Word, the more you will experience the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit in your life. But where should you start?

It's All About Love, Love and Love

“ How do you love your neighbor? First, you must learn to receive God’s love for yourself. Until then, you can’t truly love anyone else. You may do all the right things, but your motivation will be all wrong. ” All the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit are held in place by love. Jesus said that loving God and other people is the most important commandment. “You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.”

He added, “A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’” (Matthew 22:39).

How do you love your neighbor? First, you must learn to receive God’s love for yourself. Until then, you can’t truly love anyone else. You may do all the right things, but your motivation will be all wrong. And God isn’t nearly as concerned about what we do as He is about the attitudes of our hearts (see 1 Thessalonians 2:4).

My Journey to Love

For a long time, my heart was a mess. For many years I had been verbally and sexually abused by my father. Then I married a man who ran around on me and eventually ended up in prison. By the time I met Dave at the age of twenty-three, I couldn’t remember a time in my life when I was happy.

My emotional wounds had made me harsh and short-tempered. I operated purely out of fear. And even though I knew all there was to know about Christian living, I had not learned how to receive the love of God—the only thing that can heal someone’s sick soul. It wasn’t until I surrendered control and started receiving God’s love that I finally became free.

Now I love myself! And I can’t wait to wake up in the morning and be a blessing to someone else. I study love—what it is and how God wants us to express it—more than anything else.

Begin Your Own Journey

God loves you so much, He wants you to experience that love in the deepest part of your soul. Pray and ask Him to help you be a person who walks in love. Choose to believe the best about people rather than automatically assuming the worst.

Study the passages of Scripture that talk about God’s love for you and really get them into your heart. Then ask God, “How can I encourage someone today?” Don’t wait until you feel like it. Go out and love on purpose. You will be amazed at the joy it releases in your soul! Focus on learning to love as Jesus loved, and I promise, all the other fruit of the [Holy] Spirit will follow.

HAPPY Sunday Everybody! Love You...💖

The Power to Change Your Life: Ten Keys to Resilient Living

The Power to Change Your Life: Ten Keys to Resilient Living

Stress Hardiness and a Resilient Mindset

These statistics might prompt some people to become even more worried, but that is not our intention. If we recognize the effect stress has on our lives, we will be better prepared to manage it and learn to lead more productive, satisfying, healthy, and resilient lives. Being resilient does not mean we eliminate all risks or adverse conditions, but rather when they arise we deal with these conditions effectively.

Resilient individuals possess a particular mindset and accompanying skills that help them respond to life’s challenges with confidence and grace. What are the features of this mindset? What assumptions do resilient people have about themselves that reduce their vulnerability to stress and help them to cope more productively? Certainly, one’s lifestyle, including exercise, diet, and sleep all influence the effectiveness with which stress is managed. But how do you nurture such a healthy existence? In this article, we will describe ten keys for developing stress hardiness and a resilient mindset and lifestyle. As you read about each key, ask yourself, “Am I practicing this? If not, what must I change to strengthen my resilient mindset?” Also, remember that changing one’s mindset and behavior takes time. Be realistic in what you can accomplish within a certain timeframe. Each small step leads to reaching a larger goal.

Key #1: Rewrite Your Negative Scripts

Do you find yourself saying or doing the same ineffective things over and over again? It is impressive how many people do. We often become trapped, blindly following a prescribed script that does not allow for change or creativity in the face of stress and problems. Yet, we are the authors of our lives. We can move from less satisfying, less productive scripts, to ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving that foster a resilient mindset. Identify the negative scripts in your life or things you would like to change. Define short and long-term goals related to these issues. Consider new scripts, select one that you believe has the greatest chance for success, plan for obstacles, and follow through. Change cannot take place unless we become active participants in our lives.

Key #2: Choose a Path to Become Stress Hardy Rather Than Stressed Out

Research indicates that stress hardy people engage in activities that bring purpose or meaning to their lives whether in their role as parent, spouse, co-worker, or friend or in the volunteer work they do. What would you list as the priorities in your life and do you spend time engaged in these activities? In addition, stress hardy individuals view difficult situations as an expected part of life. When such situations arise, they interpret them as challenges to confront and learn from rather than as stress to avoid. It is helpful to recall that in the Chinese language the same word is used for “crisis” and “opportunity with danger.” Stress hardy people can define the factors over which they have control and those that they don’t, focusing their time and energy on situations within their sphere of influence. You might wish to do the following. Make a list of five things you want to see different in your life and then next to each item write down whether someone else has to change first for you to achieve your goal. If you discover that your happiness is based on another person changing first, whomever it may be, you might be waiting a long time to become happy. You are likely to become increasingly stressed during the wait. You will feel empowered if you focus your time and energy on what you can do differently to improve particular situations.

Key #3: View Life Through the Eyes of Others

Resilient individuals develop satisfying relationships in their lives. A cornerstone of such relationships is the capacity to be empathic and to place oneself inside the shoes of others and see the world through their eyes. To become more empathic ask yourself, “In anything I say or do, what do I hope to accomplish? Do I say or do things in ways that will motivate others to be willing to listen and respond to me? Do I behave towards others in the same way I would like them to behave towards me?” Make a list of the words you hope people would use to describe you and then the words you think they would actually use. Reflect upon what actions you might take to change your behavior so that the two lists of words are more in accord with each other.

Key #4: Communicate Effectively

The ability to communicate effectively is an integral component of resilience and is closely linked to empathy. Effective communication includes an appreciation of how our verbal and nonverbal messages are perceived by others and our capacity to be an active listener. Active listeners attempt to understand what the other person is expressing and even if they disagree they are respectful and validate that they “hear” the other person’s viewpoint. The more effectively we learn to convey our feelings, thoughts, and beliefs verbally and nonverbally, the more successful and resilient we will be.

Key #5: Accept Yourself and Others

If you are to nurture a resilient mindset, you must learn to accept yourself. Acceptance implies possessing realistic expectations and goals, recognizing your strengths as well as vulnerabilities, and leading an authentic, balanced life in which your behaviors are in accord with your values and goals. Make a list of five things that are important to you and consider why these are important. View each item on your list and reflect upon how much of your time and energy is expended to achieve what you have listed. As you learn to accept yourself, as you gain a clear picture of your strengths and vulnerabilities, as you articulate your values, you will be in a position to remove those factors that serve as obstacles to realizing a more honest, enriched life.

Key #6: Make Connections and Display Compassion

It is difficult to be resilient if we do not nurture connections in our lives—connections to other people, to ideals, to our faith, to causes. Psychologist Julius Segal, when discussing individuals who enrich the lives of children, referred to them as “charismatic adults,” people from whom children “gather strength.” Even as adults we need people in our lives from whom we gather strength. In addition, our resilience will be enhanced if we serve as a source of strength and support for others. In this regard, consider the following questions: “Who are the two or three people who serve as charismatic adults in my life? What have they done that has prompted me to list them in this way? What people would say that I am the charismatic adult in their lives, and why? Aside from relationships with people, what other activities in my life supply me with a sense of connectedness? In what ways am I compassionate and giving?” Being connected to and helping others provide meaning to our lives and serve as nutriments for resilience.

Key #7: Learn to Deal with Mistakes

The ways in which we understand and respond to mistakes and failure are an integral part of a resilient mindset. When you make a mistake, what do you tell yourself? How do you react? Resilient people consider mistakes as experiences for learning and growth. They ask themselves, “What can I do differently next time to succeed?” Those who are not resilient typically interpret mistakes as attributable to conditions that cannot be easily corrected, such as a lack of intelligence. They feel defeated by mistakes and often end up blaming others or quitting or refusing to attempt things. Observe what you say to yourself when you make a mistake. It will give you a clue to how resilient you are and what you might have to change.

Key #8: Learn to Deal with Success and Build Islands of Competence

Just as the manner in which we understand and respond to setbacks is an integral part of a resilient mindset so too, is the way we react to successes in our lives. Think about how you understand your achievements. Those who are resilient view their accomplishments as based upon their own resources and strengths. This doesn’t mean they fail to acknowledge the support of others. Rather, they don’t dismiss or minimize what they have achieved. In contrast, people who are not resilient tend to attribute their success to factors outside their control such as luck or chance or fate. Consequently, they are not as confident or optimistic about being successful in the future. There is another feature of resilient people we wish to highlight. While they do not deny their vulnerabilities, they are able to identify their strengths or what we call their “islands of competence.” What would you list as your islands of competence? Do you regularly engage in these strengths to bolster your resilience?

Key #9: Continue Developing Self-Discipline and Self-Control

Self-discipline and self-control play a significant role in our daily activities. When we think before we act, when we consider the feelings of others, when we reflect upon possible solutions to problems, when we behave in a rational and thoughtful way, when we engage in developing a business plan, when we keep from screaming at someone who has done something to make us angry, we are displaying self-discipline and self-control. It is a major component of stress-hardiness and resilience. Self-discipline and self-control must be exercised in the following ways: Accept ownership for your behavior. Be consistent, but not rigid. Become a proactive problem solver, thinking of different solutions before you act. Believe that every problem has a possible solution. Remember that with effort and patience, possible solutions become probable solutions. It is difficult to be resilient and have satisfying relationships if you are impulsive, arbitrary, and unpredictable. We believe that these negative traits can be changed as long as we first acknowledge their existence and then develop a realistic plan of action to modify these counterproductive behaviors.

Key #10: Maintaining Your Resilient Lifestyle Takes Work

If we abandon well-established diets and exercise, our health will suffer. The same principle is true when we consider the maintenance of a resilient lifestyle. Once you have developed the features associated with a resilient mindset and lifestyle, you cannot settle back and assume these qualities will be maintained on automatic pilot. Expected and unexpected challenges will emerge that will test your ability to be resilient. The more you understand the characteristics of resilient individuals, the more you can engage in daily and long-term exercises to maintain, and even strengthen, a resilient mindset. Each and every day consider: “Have I listened and communicated effectively with others? Have I responded to stress, mistakes, and setbacks in thoughtful ways? Have I maintained connections to people, ideals, causes, and faith?” Leading a resilient lifestyle should be in constant focus.

A Resilient Mindset Will Change Your Life

The road towards nurturing a resilient mindset and lifestyle, one that leads to stress hardiness, is neither straightforward, nor direct. The road often contains obstacles and detours that interfere with reaching your destinations. However, the more knowledgeable you are about the components of a resilient mindset, as well as the roadblocks to its attainment, the more diligent you can become to change any existing counterproductive ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving. By so doing, you will become better equipped and confident to discover those paths that lead to a productive, fulfilling life, a life that encourages you to plan and dream, to bring joy to others, to laugh, and to appreciate that you truly are the author of your own life.

6 Steps to Transforming Ego into Soul. Awesome Guidance! ♥

I added the picture above to the message I've shared with you below.

written by Gary Z. McGee
[source: Fractal Enlightenment]

We live in an excessively unhealthy culture. We are constantly surrounded by victims. This is because we are all victims of an egocentric society, and hence victims of our own ego-attachment to such perspectives. I’ve written about transforming wounds into wisdom and victims into warriors. This article will analyze tactics for transforming Ego into Soul; to go from a state of instability to a state of impeccability.

1. Expand all boundaries

“If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.” –Bruce Lee

Utopia is a goal, never an end. When I walk two steps, the goal moves two steps further into the horizon. What is the goal for? It’s a reminder to keep moving, to keep going. Don’t stop, because the goal is constantly moving further and further away. Indeed, the journey truly is the thing. Keep stretching your comfort zone until it becomes the world then keep stretching it until it becomes the universe, and then keep going. Never stop. Like Sarah Lewis wrote in The Rise, “Masters are not masters because they take a subject to its conceptual end. They are masters because they realize that there isn’t one. On utterly smooth ground, the path from aim to attainment is in the permanent future.”

2. Subsume nature

“Tradition is the illusion of permanence.” –Woody Allen

Exhaust the primitive. Nothing remains the same. The only permanence is the impermanence of nature. When we subsume nature we realize that we are nature. We realize that we are constantly changing along with nature. The only healthy response to an every-changing system is to be open to change. We do so by exhausting the primitive both within and outside us so as to shatter any and all illusions of tradition or permanence.

I always hear this argument against the nature-based perspective: that the primitive is nowhere near as efficacious for the control of nature as our domesticated civilization. To which I retort: But of course, nature-based living may not be able to control the world, but at least it isn’t in any danger of destroying it. Our civilization controls the world up to a point at which it seems to be destroying it. And so we have become the antithesis of man as human animal (ego), whereas nature-based man is the apotheosis (soul).

Instead of only using our vainglorious narcissistic faces as mirrors for each other, we need to once again learn how to use the entire cosmos as a reflection. Like Jung fabulously articulated, “What is needed is to call a halt to the fatal dissociation that exists between our higher and lower being; we must unite the conscious aspect with the primitive.”

3. Verify the irrational

“Let go of certainty. The opposite isn’t uncertainty. It’s openness, curiosity and a willingness to embrace paradox, rather than choose up sides. The ultimate challenge is to accept ourselves exactly as we are, but never stop trying to learn and grow.” –Tony Schwartz

Nothing entrenches the ego in itself more than certainty. Always leave room for doubt, especially in such areas as religion, nationalism, sexuality and racism. The soul flies when the ego dies. It is from the blood and guts of the ego that the soul gets its fuel for flight. Like the blood and guts of the caterpillar must be annihilated in order to transform into the butterfly, so too must our egos be annihilated. We do this by consistently verifying the irrational. We do this by constantly interrogating our worldviews. We do this by daily questioning and re-questioning our perspectives in relation to others. Like Philip Guston wrote, “To know and then how not to know is the greatest puzzle of all… so much preparation for a few moments of desperate play. To learn how to unlearn.”

Remember: God interrogating itself to the limit is you; you interrogating yourself to the limit is God. Like Gerry Spence said, “I’d rather have a mind open by wonder than one closed by belief.”

4. Obtain a sublime reputation

“The day you stop racing, is the day you win the race.” –Bob Marley

When it comes to advice about life, my attitude is very simple: seek it out, absorb it, synthesize it, but when you are in the throes of living, forget it, and just live it. There is transcendence in letting go of transcendence. The daily rat race of chasing money for the sake of money has us all going through the motions of chasing each other’s tails through an indecipherable maze of one-upmanship. Let. It. Go! Live your life. Don’t let life live you.

If there is somebody telling you it can’t be done, inspire them by showing them how it can be done. Uplift the downtrodden. Move the unmoved. Exalt the un-exalted. Don’t just inspire, inspire awe through daily acts of courage and love. The status quo is the Ego’s prison. But the bars are an illusion. It’s up to you to realize that fact and free yourself, and then act as an example for others through your sublime reputation. Then again…

5. Create one demon at least

“The demon that you can swallow gives you its power, and the greater life’s pain, the greater life’s reply.” –Friedrich Nietzsche

Create at least one monster. Life is full of shoulds and shouldnots. It’s also full of should-a, would-a, could-a. One way to decalcify the ego, and thus magnify the soul, is by creating our own art: the kind of art that rejuvenates the spirit and is cathartic for the ego. Art is less about what you have not done and more about what you have done. The demon to be created and then consumed is the transformation of what we have not done into something we have done. This usually takes the form of art. Like Bertolt Brecht said, “Art is not a mirror held up to reality, but a hammer with which to shape it.”

This seems contradictory to #4 but this is only because art is contradictory. Objectively, art is alive in a way forbidden natural objects and, subjectively, in a way subsuming the subjects who create them. We humans are a fallible species. More so we are an excruciatingly complex and insecure species. Art is the cathartic process of our self-actualized inadequacies. Through our own creative expression we, in one fell swoop, free our demons and give them wings. Like Scott Adams wrote, “Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.”

So create at least one monster. Scare people with it. Shake them out of their too-comfortable comfort zones. Have the courage of the artist. Her courage is the ability to swallow the status quo and create new forms of perceiving. Like Bansky brilliantly tagged: “Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable.”

6. Inhabit everyone

“Just as one candle lights another and can light thousands of other candles, so one heart illuminates another and can illuminate thousands of other hearts.” –Leo Tolstoy

Sojourn with all things. Try your best to “walk a mile in their shoes” or “stand on the shoulders of giants.” If you can consistently do this, then your wisdom will become a force to be reckoned with. The reason is because of the interconnectedness of all things, cosmically, and our need for empathy, socially. We need each other. Our insecurity alone reveals that absolute fact. Empathy shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s vulnerability. Being vulnerable is constantly being in a state to receive new information without fear that it will change us; because it will change us. And that’s okay.

Like Alexander Velazquez pointed out: “Buddha mapped enlightenment as the nautical ley lines to inner peace. Jesus walked on waves of self-sacrifice and plotted love as a way to helm the soul to salvation. Nietzsche rode against currents of religious piety—and in the face of that behemoth, sailed the breakers of nihilism to eternal joy. King sailed through channels of racial inequality and anchored western culture to paths of desegregation.

Malcom challenged legions of racist warships and conquered waters of racial identity and power. Sartre showed us clouds of self-creation and tactical action as the guide to horizons of happiness. Gödel built compasses of mathematical rebellion to defy currents and streams, enabling circumnavigation through new straits. Wittgenstein stripped ships of their excess cargo of intangible and irrelevant philosophy in pursuit of truth. And Jung, by covering the entire ocean of the spirit, drew our first maps of the person. It is in studying carefully these great maps and utilizing their initiatives that we can invent new means and passages to distant frontiers.”

Characteristics of Self-Actualized People: Something We Can All Aspire To Become...💖

I added the picture above to the message I shared with you below.

Characteristics of Self-Actualized People
written by Kendra Cherry
[source: About]

Abraham Maslow proposed a hierarchy of needs that represented various needs that motivate human behavior. The hierarchy is often displayed as a pyramid, with lowest levels representing basic needs and more complex needs located at the top of the pyramid.

At the peak of this hierarchy is self-actualization. The hierarchy suggests that when the other needs at the base of the pyramid have been met, the individual can then focus their attention on this pinnacle need. Self-actualization is described as "…the desire for self-fulfillment, namely, to the tendency for him to become actualized in what he is potentially."

Self-Acceptance and Democratic World View

Self-actualized people tend to accept themselves and others as they are. They tend to lack inhibition and are able to enjoy themselves and their lives free of guilt. Other people are treated the same regardless of background, current status or other socio-economic and cultural factors.

Realistic

Another major characteristic of self-actualized people is a sense of realism. Rather than being fearful of things that are different or unknown, the self-actualized individual is able to view things logically and rationally.

Problem-Centered

Self-actualized individuals are often motivated by a strong sense of personal ethics and responsibility. They enjoy solving real-world problems and are often concerned with helping other people improve their own lives.

Peak Experiences

Self-actualization is also characterized by having frequent peak experiences. What exactly is a peak experience? According to Maslow, these "Feelings of limitless horizons opening up to the vision, the feeling of being simultaneously more powerful and also more helpless than one ever was before, the feeling of ecstasy and wonder and awe, the loss of placement in time and space with, finally, the conviction that something extremely important and valuable had happened, so that the subject was to some extent transformed and strengthened even in his daily life by such experiences."

Autonomy

The self-actualized individual does not conform to other people's ideas of happiness or contentment. This original perspective allows the individual to live in the moment and appreciate the beauty of each experience.

Solitude and Privacy

Self-actualized individuals value their privacy and enjoy solitude. While they also love the company of others, taking time to themselves is essential for personal discovery and cultivating individual potential.

Philosophical Sense of Humor

Self-actualized individuals generally have a thoughtful sense of humor. They are able to enjoy the humor in situations and laugh at themselves, but they do not ridicule or make fun at the expense of another person's feelings.

Spontaneity

Another characteristic of self-actualized people is a tendency to be open, unconventional and spontaneous. While these people are able to follow generally accepted social expectations, they do not feel confined by these norms in their thoughts or behaviors.

Enjoy the Journey

While self-actualized people have concrete goals, they do not see things as simply a means to an end. The journey toward achieving a goal is just as important and enjoyable as actually accomplishing the goal.

The Journey Of Self Discovery: Sure Fire Secret To Personal Self Discovery.

Sure Firer Secret To Personal Self Discovery
written by Louis Redemption
[source: Personal Development For Smart People]

The decision to take responsibility for our actions and seek a path of self discovery and self fulfillment for our life is the beginning of self development and self discovery. This tremendous journey when embarked upon could take minutes to decide upon for the quick and irrational person to decide. It could also take days and years to discern a true self worth path of calling. Irrespective of the deference in human behaviour and choice, it boils down to one factor FREE WILL. The journey of self discovery and self development means different things to different folks. Although with slight similarities in pattern of wants. Happiness, love, success, fame, wealth, spirituality... are all possible pattern of choice we may seek to on the glorious path of self discovery and self development.

Self discovery and self development is about taking and making vital decisions to create the lifestyle you really want. Embarking on this journey is not a day’s job, neither is it one that can easily be actualized under a short period of time. To discover your inner person, you must be patient, enthusiastic, persistent, consistent, wise decision making and to sum it up the drive and energy to make it work even when all odds tell you its not possible. To succeed you must have dogged determination and a NO for an answer to all negativity that rear its ugly head around you. Note, because you have chosen to succeed and be different, it ain’t gonna be easy and obstacles are bound to come your way. That is indisputable because loads of obstacles will surely come your way on your path to self discovery and development.

Life is an ever changing and continuous evolving state of existence, so therefore your ability to adjust and remodel your plans of action as you learn along the corridor of life dictates the pace at which you grow tremendously. Invaluable facts will reveal itself to you as your self developmental circle matures. The pains and mistakes caused on the part to your development are key instruments of your successes to come if only you learn wisely from them. Oftentimes there are things that have occurred in our lives that have sparked unforgettable memories that keep coming back, there tendency to forget the factors that propels us on the journey of self development and self discovery. Those memories can trigger unpleasant thoughts that make it hard to put a plan into perspective to change and develop our lives the way we want them. There is a lot to benefit from on this singular decision of finding out your inner calling in life.

The key to unlocking the hidden treasure that lay within your destiny is the willingness to seek out that which life has in store for you. Taking this step is the best thing that can ever happen to you. Think of the goldmines of talents buried in the cemetery with their hidden treasures. This world has lost more Talents with mind blowing inventions that never saw the light of day. Ask yourself this question, do you want to live this world without leaving your footprint in the sands of time? If the answer is no, now is the time to tap into your inner self and seek a path that would propel you into the chambers of self discovery to a newplane of existence.

ENGLAND: Marxist BLM Leader Sasha Johnson Who Calls For Enslavement Of Whites Was Shot In The Head By Black Men At A Party In London. BLM Activists, Politicians Claim Shooter Was White

A prominent Black Lives Matter activist was shot by a group of four black men at a party in south London, police say.

Sasha Johnson is critically ill in hospital after being shot in the head at a property in Peckham on Sunday.

Met Commander Alison Heydari said the men had "entered the garden of the property and discharged a firearm".

Ms Johnson's party said she had previously received death threats but police have said there was "nothing to suggest" it was "a targeted attack".

Cdr Heydari added detectives were also "not aware of any reports of threats made against her prior to this incident".

Ms Johnson, 27, was left in a life-threatening condition following the shooting at the property in Consort Road at about 03:00 BST.

On Monday Ms Johnson's party, the Taking the Initiative Party (TTIP), said she had undergone an operation and remained in critical care.

Another man, who was thought to be in his 20s, also suffered a "superficial knife injury" during the attack.

He went to hospital but was discharged following treatment, the Met said.

Det Ch Insp Richard Leonard, who is leading the investigation, said about 30 guests had been at the party, which was being held in the back garden of the property.

He said the four attackers had been dressed in "dark clothing" and went into the garden "through a side entrance".

"In the ensuing melee a firearm has been discharged injuring Sasha," he said.

Det Ch Insp Leonard added: "Our investigation continues to make progress but we need the assistance of the community to find out who was responsible for this horrific attack."

Ms Johnson, who works in community activism and community support and got a first in social care from Ruskin College in Oxford, has been a leading figure in the Black Lives Matter movement in the UK and is a member of the TTIP's leadership committee.

In a statement on Monday evening, the TTIP questioned how police could conclude it had not been a targeted attacked "without being able to speak with Sasha regarding the death threats".

However Charles Gordon, one of TTIP's founding members, added: "I would like to say that we need to stay cautious and aware - the truth is that we don't know what has happened here."

Imarn Ayton, a friend of Ms Johnson's, previously told the BBC she understood "the incident is more related to rival gangs as opposed to her activism".

On Monday afternoon a vigil was held in Ruskin Park, close to King's College Hospital, where Ms Johnson is being treated.

During the event well-wishers played African drums and prayed for the 27-year-old to pull through.

USA: Vandals Smashed Up Cars At A Black-Owned Auto Repair Shop In Spring Lake, North Carolina. Swastikas And KKK Spray Painted On Cars. Surveillance Cameras Show 2 Black Men Did It.

Tuesday May 25, 2021

SPRING LAKE, N.C. — Vandals returned to a Black-owned auto repair shop to do more damage less than a day after the owner installed security cameras.

Over the past couple weeks, Dwyane Haynesworth's business in Spring Lake has been targeted with racist graffiti. One vehicle was stolen off his lot about a month ago, he said.

Cameras were set up at the lot on Monday around 5 p.m. The security footage caught two men walking onto Haynesworth's property from the highway that night.

The two men spent several minutes rummaging through vehicles, then smashing windows of cars that were already damaged.

Spring Lake police did receive a copy of the security footage. Police didn't fingerprint any of the cars because they need permission from the owners of the cars, Haynesworth said.

The alleged white supremacist at White Bear Lake High School turned out to be a black girl after the FBI investigated.

After school walkouts, protest marches and an FBI investigation, authorities concluded that a black girl was responsible for creating an Instagram account that sent racist messages to students at White Bear Lake High School.

The city of White Bear Lake was torn by controversy last month as tearful students made protest signs and gave speeches outside their school after an anonymous Instagram profile called members of the school’s Black Excellence Club racial slurs. Protesters subsequently demanded action be taken to hold whoever ran the profile accountable.

However, it looks like they will not get their wish, as the black student responsible for creating the account will not face any charges.

The College Fix recently obtained a police report which identifies the owner of the account as a black female student and member of the same Black Excellence Club targeted by the racist account. This student will not face penalties for the hate-crime hoax or for lying to investigators during the local and federal investigations, authorities told The Fix.

“I didn’t send those messages,” the student told investigators, per the police report, after investigators concluded that the messages were sent from her home IP address. “Like, I have a question, did the messages come from my house, or was it just the account created at my house?” she continued, attempting to defend herself.

The city of White Bear Lake appeared to make excuses for the student, saying she merely sought to “raise awareness of social and racial injustice due to past incidents that occurred at school.” Although the original news release containing this excuse has since been deleted, it remains quoted across several Minnesota news outlets and Newsweek.

It appears as though the school, authorities, and city all understood that the owner of the racist account was black but refused to release this information as protesting was in progress.

The White Bear Lake superintendent also seemed to be aware that the account was not run by a genuine racist when he assured parents that the controversial posts were a “hoax.” He was then forced to apologize for this characterization but still did not reveal the race of the apparent perpetrator.

Before the race of the offending individual was disclosed, students came to the conclusion that the perpetrator was Avery Severson, a girl who founded a conservative club at the school. Even after her name was cleared, Severson still reported feeling unsafe around her angered peers.

“I was just shocked when I saw that they were accusing me. I felt unsafe. I felt unsafe at school … I just felt unsafe in my community,” she told Fox News.

It remains unclear why the involved parties were hesitant to release information about the account owner’s race when such a revelation may have calmed the town, assuring that there was no genuine white supremacist threat.

Meanwhile, some members of the media seem to suggest that the existence of genuine racists is irrelevant as “false threats” cause “real fear.”

Police in Minnesota have used forensics to determine that the creator of an Instagram account from which racist private messages to black students was a black female student at White Bear Lake High School.

In yet another "hate hoax" incident, it appears that the girl was sending racist messages to other black female students, although police could only confirm that she was the one who created the account. As far as individual messages go, they can, however, confirm that the messages did originate from her home IP.

According to The College Fix, the messages were virulently threatening and racist in nature, containing such phrases as "die, ni**er", among others.

One message said, 'Go back to Africa. With your tribe.' Another post said, 'GET HANGED. DIE. KILL YOURSELF," KSTP-TV reported.

The unidentified girl, who has been confirmed as a member of the Black Excellence Club, and said that she couldn't publicly admit that she created the account to her friends because they are "not stupid," implying that they will realize right away that it was her that sent the messages, despite the lack of definitive evidence.

For that reason, she was "unsure if she should tell us who else was with her and sent messages with the account," said the report. She went on to state that "there was only one other person involved and did not want to say that person’s name."

The girl originally told the police that it wasn't her that created the account, but later changed her story and confessed to creating the account in the face of evidence.

At this time, no charges will be laid in connection with the "hate hoax" messages.

The hateful messages received last week by Black students at White Bear Lake Area High School were a “hoax,” sent by a female student who was trying to raise awareness of problems at the school, according to school and city officials.

The FBI helped identify the student who created the anonymous Instagram account, and she took responsibility Monday afternoon, Superintendent Wayne Kazmierczak wrote Tuesday in a letter to families.

Kazmierczak wrote that the student “poses no threat to students of color.” And he described the messages as “a hoax sent under false pretense.”

The superintendent’s letter left many in community confused about what actually happened, and a school district spokeswoman on Tuesday declined to provide more information, citing the “ongoing investigation.”

But on Wednesday, the city of White Bear Lake issued a press release that shed light on student’s motives and identified her as “a juvenile female.”

“The juvenile involved indicated during the investigation that the purpose of their post was to raise awareness of social and racial injustice due to past incidents that occurred at school. We shared this information with the school district and added that the investigating officers believe the juvenile does not pose a physical threat,” the city said.

City police continue to investigate. They said they haven’t determined whether additional people were involved in the deception.

The anonymous messages, sent last week through Instagram’s group chat to several Black students, contained death threats and repeated use of the N-word. They appeared to target students who formed a group for Black students at the school.

Students walked out of school Friday morning to demonstrate against racism in the school.

Kazmierczak wrote in his letter that the school community is “united in supporting our students in speaking against racism and in support of our students of color.”

In a separate letter Wednesday, the superintendent said he regretted using the word “hoax” and that he didn’t mean to “minimize the impact that racism or racist acts has on students and families who have been marginalized throughout history and in White Bear Lake Area Schools.”

Kazmierczak said he would recommend the student responsible for the posts be expelled for violating the district’s bullying and harassment policies.
