While speaking on Fox News, Mayor Garcetti was asked about LA’s decision to defund LAPD by $150 million.

“I’m not in favor of defunding police, I’m in favor of refunding communities that have been overlooked by this president,” Garcetti said, adding that LA made other cuts. pic.twitter.com/cpb7q3gpbS
The left is engaging in a campaign of deep linguistic manipulation:

• "Critical race theory" becomes "racial sensitivity training"
• "Defund the police" becomes "reimagine public safety"
• "Violent riots" become "mostly peaceful protest"
It's Orwell all the way down.
