Indescribable! ❤


I originally posted this song back in April 2008 when I woke up hearing 'God Inspiration Universe'. I was led to this video by Chris Tomlin titled 'Indescribable'. This video and song are AMAZING! This song has been playing in my spirit all morning and it is filling me up with so much JOY! That is why I am re-posting it for my readers who have not been introduced to this song. I love love love the lyrics to this song!

God is TRULY AMAZING! God is the Universe. The Universe lives and breathes in each and every one of us! We are carbon-based lifeforms, carbon units. The Universe expands and contracts. The Universe breathes in and breathes out. If the Universe is made up of Energy, then God is energy and the Source of ALL LIVING things. Connect to His Infinite Supernatural POWER outlet and allow God to live and breathe LIFE and JOY into you. Jesus Christ (Yahshua HaMashiach) IS the CONDUIT to our Source (God/Yahweh). God sets the standards for living NOT man. Get to know Him. God wants to embrace you right where you are and love's you as you are. You are a child of the Most High God. I also want you to think about this for a moment, God created us from the dust of the earth and when we die our bodies return to the dust of the earth. God breathed LIFE, His Spirit into us. God created ALL Living things on the earth. Therefore, wouldn't it make ABSOLUTE SENSE to RESPECT ALL living things INCLUDING the EARTH. I am NOT in any way indicating worship of the earth. I am however encouraging RESPECT. Afterall it is our ONLY HOME. When God told us to take dominion over the earth and everything in it, God means for us to be GOOD SHEPHERDS,  GOOD STEWARDS, CARETAKERS! Not destroyers! Dominion means home, domain, kingdom, sovereign authority, lordship. With this type of power granted unto us, comes great responsibility! NOT ABUSE! Let us all look for ways to improve waste management worldwide and get nations to stop allowing toxic waste dumping of all kinds into their rivers, destroying ecosystem in its path, and eventually makes its way to the ocean. ❤

The song is of course Chris Tomlin's version of Indescribable - and the lyrics are very literal (not very metaphorical - e.g. a river is a river, not freedom). i really tried to stretch the video story in new directions. Much of my inspiration is from Brian Green's Book "The Elegant Universe" (...if you can think of a more God-glorifying name for a book than that - let me know!!)... but also based on my own training. e.g. the cool looking formula's you see are "Maxwell's Equations", and they govern everything about light electricity and magnetism - or "electro-magnetic fields". I studied those four equations for two semesters in my undergrad engineering coursework, but didn't get a very good grade from my "fields" teacher.

Your Miracle is On the Way! ♥

A great man of God once said that miracles pass us by every day.

Well, I’m here to say it’s time for that to stop!

It’s time for miracles to stop passing us by, and it’s time for them to start manifesting in our lives—in our homes, our families, our businesses and jobs, our churches and communities. It’s time for us to expect miracles all the time, to expect God to do the extraordinary...to overrule perverted nature.

In Judges 6:13, Gideon said it like this: “If the Lord be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of?”

That question is still valid today. In the Church, at large, people don’t see many miracles happening. And they certainly don’t see them happening in their normal, day-to-day living.

So, where are all the miracles? Do they really exist? Isn’t God willing to intervene in our lives anymore?

God Is Still God

Miracles don’t just happen, my brother and sister. In part, you and I have to make them happen. We have to activate them by cooperating with God. Only by our yielding to God can His Supernatural power manifest on our behalf and override the natural circumstances we face in this life.

Galatians 3:5 says, “He therefore that ministereth [or supplies] to you the (Holy) Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?”

In other words, God, the One Who supplies us with His Spirit—or with Supernatural power—is still in the business of working miracles among us.

If you think about it, the word god itself means “one who must be worshiped as having supernatural abilities.” Take that a step further, and we find that the word supernatural means “that which goes beyond the law and power of nature.”

So we’re talking about the One Who must be worshiped as having abilities that go beyond the law and power of this natural world in which we live.

That’s why the Bible is full of scriptures such as Matthew 19:26 which say, “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

Luke 1:37—“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

Mark 9:23—“All things are possible to him that believeth.”

Still, the majority of people in our world today choose to live by their own limited resources and go their own way rather than depend upon God and go His way.

For us as believers, however, the moment we became Christians we were called to live in the realm of “all things are possible.” We took a step from impossible with man (the natural realm) to possible with Almighty God (the supernatural realm).

Now, it’s wonderful that we took that step, but as we’re about to see, there are some things we must know, and continually remind ourselves of, if we are to walk further in that miraculous arena with God—and let Him be God in our lives.

Don’t Hold Your Peace!

You’ll recall we saw in Galatians 3:5 that God supplies us with His Spirit and works miracles among us. He does it by our faith in what He says. So, we do have a vital role in the miraculous.

To understand just how vital our part is, however, I want us to examine a miracle recorded in Luke 18. Let’s begin with verses 35-39:

And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging: And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

First, notice that the blind man was begging.

If we do not learn to yield to the power of God, Satan will have us begging through life—and, all the while, our Father has made every provision in heaven and earth so we shouldn’t have to beg a day in our lives.

Truthfully, I see this blind man as those Christians who do not know their covenant rights and, as a result, they have been placed in a beggarly position.

“Oh, God, won’t You please heal me?”

No, that’s not our position in the blood covenant. God, Himself, told us to put Him in remembrance of the covenant (Isaiah 43:26), and make a demand on His power. We have every right to be healed, every right to be prosperous, every right for our children to walk with the Lord—because we have a covenant!

Next, notice that when the blind man heard all the commotion of the crowd passing by he called out to find out what was happening.

What did the people tell him?

Jesus of Nazareth is passing by!

My friend, Jesus is passing by us every day. Moment by moment, He passes near us. In fact if you’re a Christian, He is in you right now. Still, if we want our miracle, we will have to take action. We will have to do our part.

In this case, the blind man started hollering.

Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me! Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!

Now, once this man started making his demand on Jesus, notice what the people around him did. Verse 39 says they rebuked him and told him to shut up.

Today, as then, organized religion tries to keep us from our miracles. I know, because it kept me from them. Religious traditions kept me from the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, healing, and so on. They may have kept me out of hell, but they also kept me from so much of heaven.

So, here we have a blind man who was able to see his miracle passing by, yet the religious people around him couldn’t. His natural eye couldn’t see a thing, but he saw clearly with the eyes of his spirit, with the eyes of revelation—and what he saw, the religious folks rebuked. But that didn’t stop him. He just cried out louder, and with more intensity.

When Faith Talks...

Now that we’ve seen the blind man’s part in this press toward a miracle, let’s examine God’s part. We find it in Luke 18:40-43.

And Jesus stood, and commanded [the blind man] to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee. And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.

In the middle of a noisy crowd, Jesus heard a distinct voice. It was the voice of faith. When He heard that voice, The Amplified Bible says He “stood still” (verse 40). He stopped.

Jesus hasn’t changed. He’s still the same (Hebrews 13:8). Any time He hears the voice of faith, He stops. When anyone speaks words of faith, it’s like calling Him to attention. He must stop, because He is under divine orders. The voice of faith places a demand on His power.

So once we make that demand on God’s power, and once Jesus stops...then notice what He does—verse 40 says, “Jesus stood, and commanded … ”

When we make a demand, God makes a command. He makes a command on our behalf. He releases supernatural power to change natural, perverted situations, and causes them to line up with what we are believing. His power submits to our faith.

You see, God has placed Himself in a situation where our faith controls Him, as well as all of His resources in heaven. You and I have the ability to move God and all of heaven at any given time—in the supermarket, in the car, in the house, in the yard, on the job.

So, on the road that day, Jesus could not go anywhere or do anything until He answered the voice of faith that cried out to Him.

Just Receive

After Jesus commanded the blind man be brought to Him, He asked the man, “What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee?” Notice He didn’t say, “Let me see what I can do for you,” or “Sure, I want to help you, but let’s don’t get carried away.”

No, Jesus placed no limits on the man’s request. Actually, the limits were up to the blind man. So he told Jesus, “Lord, that I may receive my sight” (verse 41). With that, Jesus replied, “Receive thy sight; thy faith hath saved thee” (verse 42). Receive. All the man had to do was just receive.

Today, Christians lack a lot because they don’t receive—and that shouldn’t be.

As believers, we should have such a lifestyle of deliverance that people are constantly attracted to us. And why not? We have something that can stop Jesus, the Miracle Worker, at any time...and for any reason!

My brother and sister, Jesus stopped on His way to Jericho that day because He heard the voice of faith. That voice stopped Him in His tracks. He didn’t have to think about it or pray it. He had no choice. He had to respond. But the key was faith.

Jesus doesn’t just drop in with miracle-working power. As with anything, He must have a faith invitation. If He doesn’t, He will pass us by.

A lot of miracles have been getting away from us because, even though Jesus shows up, we let Him pass by. We don’t call out with the voice of faith necessary to stop Him.

So, stop Him! Don’t let Jesus pass you by! Speak words of faith—cry, shout, use greater intensity if you have to, but do it with the voice of faith!

And once Jesus stops, don’t back off. Don’t limit Him, or yourself! Go ahead and tell Him what you would have Him do for you. Then receive.

Yes, we serve a miracle-working God, and heaven has come down to us. But, your miracle is up to you. So, don’t let it pass you by. Stop Jesus!

A Great Personal Story About The Difference Between Capitalism and Welfare Mentality.

There are tons of people on this planet that speak harshly against capitalism and consumerism. Well, there are people on this planet that want to work and be productive members of society. We should want an economy that is humming, responsibly producing products and services. End result? JOBS. JOBS. JOBS. Leading to a happy, healthy society. :)

I'd like to share a personal story Tom Nicholson posted on Facebook this week. 

A guy looked at my Corvette the other day and said I wonder how many people could have been fed for the money that sports car cost.

I replied I am not sure, it fed a lot of families in Bowling Green, Kentucky who built it, it fed the people who make the tires, it fed the people who made the components that went into it, it fed the people in the copper mine who mined the copper for the wires, it fed people in Decatur IL. at Caterpillar who make the trucks that haul the copper ore. It fed the trucking people who hauled it from the plant to the dealer and fed the people working at the dealership and their families. BUT,... I have to admit, I guess I really don't know how many people it fed.

That is the difference between capitalism and welfare mentality. When you buy something, you put money in people's pockets, and give them dignity for their skills.

When you give someone something for nothing, you rob them of their dignity and self worth.

Capitalism is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value.

Socialism is taking your money against your will and shoving something down your throat that you never asked for.

The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard. This Is Capitalism In A Nutshell.

1 Jesus said, “For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard. 2 He agreed to pay them a denarius for the day and sent them into his vineyard.

3 “About nine in the morning he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing. 4 He told them, ‘You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.’ 5 So they went.

“He went out again about noon and about three in the afternoon and did the same thing. 6 About five in the afternoon he went out and found still others standing around. He asked them, ‘Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?’

7 “‘Because no one has hired us,’ they answered.

“He said to them, ‘You also go and work in my vineyard.’

8 “When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last ones hired and going on to the first.’

9 “The workers who were hired about five in the afternoon came and each received a denarius. 10 So when those came who were hired first, they expected to receive more. Workers in the Vineyard

How can focusing on God’s grace in our lives keep us from becoming jealous of others? In what way can you thank God every day for his grace in your life?

Observe that nobody was cheated! Not a single worker was underpaid. While it may be argued (based on human, subjective, economic comparisons) that some were overpaid, nobody was cheated. The complaint of the early workers offered no evidence of wrongdoing. It was a complaint born in hearts of jealousy, not objective reality. Some of them received less than they expected and many received more. We should rejoice in the good others receive.

The landowner had the right to “overpay” the late workers. He said “whatever is right you will receive.” He determined what was right, not based on ordinary human accounting, but grace. His over-payment of the late workers was his choice and nobody could argue he didn't have that right.

Jesus’ story makes no economic sense, and that was his intent. He was giving us a parable about grace, which cannot be calculated like a day’s wages. No one was cheated; all the workers got what they were promised. [each worker was PAID WHAT THEY AGREED TO. (emphasis mine)] But discontent arouse from the scandalous mathematics of grace.

Significantly, many Christians who study this parable identify with the employees who put in a full day’s work, rather than the add-on's at the end of the day. We like to think of ourselves as responsible workers, and the employer's strange behavior baffles us as it did the original hearers. We risk missing the point of the parable: that God dispenses gifts, not wages. None of us gets paid according to merit, for none of us comes close to satisfying God’s requirements for a perfect life. Why Challenges Are Essential...

The Parable of the Farmer and the Wheat

I have heard an ancient parable--it must be very ancient, because God used to live on the earth in those days. One day a man came to him, an old farmer, and he said, "Look, you may be God, and you may have created the world, but one thing I must say to you: you are not a farmer. You don't know even the ABC of farming. You have something to learn."

God said, "What's your advice?"

The farmer said, "You give me one year's time, and just let things be according to me, and see what happens. There will be no poverty left!"

God was willing, and one year was given to the farmer. Naturally, he asked for the best, he thought only of the best--no thunder, no strong winds, no dangers for the crop. Everything was comfortable, cozy, and he was very happy. The wheat was growing so high! When he wanted sun, there was sun; when he wanted rain, there was rain, and as much as he wanted. This year everything was right, mathematically right. But when the crops were harvested, there was no wheat inside.

The farmer was surprised. He asked God, "What happened? What went wrong?"

God said, "Because there was no challenge, because there was no conflict, no friction, because you avoided all that was bad, the wheat remained impotent. A little struggle is a must. Storms are needed, thunder, lightning is needed. They shake up the soul inside the wheat."

This parable is of immense value. If you are just happy and happy and happy, happiness will lose all meaning. It will be as if somebody is writing with white chalk on a white wall. Nobody will ever be able to read it. You have to write on a black board, then it comes clear.

The night is as much needed as the day. And the days of sadness are as essential as the days of happiness. This I call understanding. Once you understand it, you relax--in that relaxation is surrender. You say, "Thy will be done." You say, "Do whatsoever you feel is right. If today clouds are needed, give me clouds. Don't listen to me, my understanding is tiny. What do I know of life and its secrets? Don't listen to me! You just go on doing your will." And, slowly slowly, the more you see the rhythm of life, the rhythm of duality, the rhythm of polarity, you stop asking, you stop choosing.

This is the secret. Live with this secret, and see the beauty. Live with this secret, and you will be suddenly surprised: How great is the blessing of life! How much is being showered on you every moment!

- Individuality means your uniqueness -- not compared with anybody else. Your incomparable uniqueness: that is individuality. Individuality is beautiful; that's how God has made you -- as an individual. Ego is comparison. Ego is your invention. God has not given you any ego; he has certainly given you an individuality.

Ego is comparison: you think yourself more intelligent than the other, you think yourself more superior than the other -- or inferior. You think yourself more beautiful than the other. Then you are bringing ego in: the moment you compare yourself with somebody, the conclusion that comes out of the comparison is ego. If you stop comparing then you are there -- tremendously beautiful and unique. All superiority or inferiority, all anxiety of where I am, where I stand, who is above me and who is below me, are ego problems. The superior person suffers, the inferior suffers; both suffer -- because even the superiormost cannot have a state where he can be satisfied.

Abraham Lincoln was not very beautiful, his face was ugly. And that was a torture. In fact, when he stood for the presidentship, he had no beard. In his campaign, a small girl suggested to him, "If you grow a beard, you will look a little better." Hence, he grew the beard. But he remained constantly aware of his ugliness. He became the president... but whenever he would see a beautiful face he would feel hurt.

Napoleon Bonaparte was not very tall, just five-five -- just exactly my size. He remained disturbed for his whole life. Now, nothing is wrong in being five-five. What is wrong in being five-five? -- I have never felt any problem in it! And what is going to happen if you are five-seven or five-eight? Nothing is going to happen, you will be the same -- five-five or five-seven or five-nine makes no difference. But he was tremendously troubled -- he was so conscious of it. One day he was trying to fix a picture on the wall and the picture was a little higher than him, and his bodyguard said, "Sir, I am higher than you, I will do it." He said, "Stop! Never utter such a word. You are taller, not higher."He was very conscious about it -- "Higher? Say you are taller; don't say higher!" Now, if even Napoleon is not happy, who can be?

People who compare can never be happy. These trees are happy -- the smaller tree does not bother about the higher tree. They never bother about each other: the smaller is smaller and the higher is higher. In fact, the higher and the taller and the smaller and the lower are human terms -- they don't exist in the world of trees. A rosebush is as happy as a big oak tree; there is no problem about it. Not even a rosebush, but just a small leaf of grass is as happy as any lotus flower. It makes no difference.

God is showering on everybody -- on the rosebush, on the grassleaf, on the lotus flower... he is showering everywhere. And the whole existence is happy; only man has got into trouble. The ego arises with comparison. Individuality you have, unique individuality you have. With comparison how many problems arise!

Just a few days before, one woman was saying to me that she cannot accept her body. But why? -- because she is a little fatter. Now, why compare? How can you be fatter if you don't compare? Mm? -- you must have some idea of a thinner woman, and you must be comparing. I don't see any problem in the woman directly. I looked at her: she is a beautiful woman, a unique woman, an individual -- but unnecessarily in anxiety, in deep anguish, suffering. She cannot believe that anybody can love her, because she is a little fat.

And who has given the idea? How do you decide what is standard? Nobody has any idea what is standard; all averages are just false. Nobody knows how much fat is needed for a particular body -- only the body itself knows. Listen to your body, love your body, and don't compare. Now this comparison will create such trouble that she may miss her whole life. Because of comparison she cannot love. And she will create such trouble that she will not allow anybody to love her, because she cannot trust anybody who can love her. That man must be perverted: how can you love an ugly woman? -- your idea of beauty must be perverted, or you must be deceiving.

She cannot trust anybody -- if somebody comes and says to her, "I love you," she will distrust them. She cannot love herself -- how can YOU love her? Impossible. You must have some other design, you must have some other idea behind it: you may be interested only in sex, or you may be interested in something else -- in her money, or something else -- but you cannot love her. Because how can you love her? -- she cannot love her own face in the mirror. And even if you persist, she will try in every way to destroy your love, so she can prove that she was right and you were wrong. Now it is very difficult to find a lover who will take that much trouble to convince you. she will remain loveless. And when there will be no love coming, her idea will become more and more fixated: I am ugly. And she is not ugly at all.

In fact, I have never seen an ugly person in my life. How can a person be ugly? Have you ever seen any ugly crow? Impossible! Have you ever seen an ugly cow? Impossible. Have you ever seen an ugly tree? Impossible. All is beautiful as it is... but with human beings you bring comparison, and immediately trouble starts.

Don't compare, there is no need. Comparison is one of the greatest calamities that has fallen on humanity. You are perfect as you are.

Love yourself, respect yourself. If you are not going to respect yourself, who is going to respect you. If you are not going to love yourself, who is going to love you?

People don't respect themselves, and expect everybody else to respect them. They don't love themselves, and want the whole world to fall in love with them. Now you are asking impossibles -- these things cannot happen. Love yourself, respect yourself -- and a person who respects himself never compares. Comparison is a disrespect.

Now, if you summarize all this, it means: to be an egoist is to be very disrespectful towards yourself. To be an individual is perfectly good, but to be egoistic is disrespectful.

Police arrested two men in Lahore on Wednesday for their alleged torture of one suspect's wife over her refusal to dance for them.

According to a first information report registered on March 26, Asma Aziz's husband of four years and two of his employees tortured her over her refusal to dance for them. The Punjab police in statement said the incident had taken place in the city's Defence Housing Authority area.

Asma, in a video circulating on social media, claimed that her husband had "always hit her a lot".

This time, she alleged, "He took my clothes off in front of his employees. The employees held me as he shaved my hair off and burned it. My clothes were bloody. I was bound by a pipe and hung from the fan. He threatened to hang me naked."

She said that when she went to the Kahna police station to register a complaint, "they asked me for money". She added that the police had, instead of providing her the FIR number or conducting a medical examination, asked her for money.

Superintendent Model Town Muhammd Ali Wasim took notice of Asma's allegations of police officials' involvement in trying to extort money from her. He asked the DSP Model Town to provide him a report after looking into the allegations.

She appealed to people for help, claiming that both her parents were dead and she had no place to go or food to eat.

In-charge Investigation at Kahna police station, Saleem Shaukat, told DawnNewsTV today that two of the suspects ─ the husband and one of his employees ─ had been arrested.

Punjab Inspector General of Police Amjad Javed Saleemi took notice of the incident and ordered a thorough investigation, directing DIG Investigation Dr Inam Waheed to personally investigate the matter and to make sure that the perpetrators of the attack are punished severely under the law.

After the news was reported, Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari tweeted that she had taken notice and looked into the case. "My office was informed by station house officer of police station Kahna, Lahore: Police has registered FIR and arrested both accused and booked under sections 337(v) and 506. Medical report of the woman is awaited. One of the arrested is her husband."

SOMALIA: 15 People Killed, Many Injured When Islamist Militants Exploded A Car Bomb On A Busy Street And Ripped Into A Nearby Restaurant

At least 15 people died when a car bomb exploded on a busy street and ripped into a nearby restaurant in Somalia's capital on Thursday, medics said.

Security officials and witnesses reported bodies strewn on the ground as plumes of smoke rose high into the air after the bomb detonated on Mogadishu's Maka Al-Mukarama road, one of the seaside capital's main thoroughfares, an area busy with businesses and travellers.

It struck as people were eating lunch.

The attack was claimed by Al-Qaeda's Somali affiliate Al-Shabaab, in a statement posted on a pro-Shabaab website.

Abdulkadir Abdirahman Adan, director of the Aamin Ambulance service, said that 15 people had been killed, as well as several more wounded by the ferocious blast.

Witnesses described scenes of devastation.

"The car bomb struck a restaurant along the road," said Abdulahi Osman, who was nearby when the blast hit. "This really was a disaster."

Vehicles were tossed into the air by the force of the explosion, which also damaged surrounding buildings. Witnesses said several cars and three-wheel motorbikes were destroyed.

- 'Another day, another funeral' -

"I saw 16 people carried from the blast scene -- and more than 10 of them were already dead," Osman added.

Ambulance workers rushed in to help take the wounded to hospital.

"I don't know whether they were dead or wounded, but I could see several people strewn in the street -- some of them were motionless," said Suado Ahmed, another witness who was at the scene moments after the blast.

Teams of ambulance workers carried away those killed and wounded on stretchers, while volunteers also helped by using plastic sheeting to lift the bodies away.

The bombing is the latest in a recent string of blasts in Mogadishu, which has been hit frequently by Al-Shabaab attacks.

On Saturday, Shabaab gunmen attacked a complex housing government ministries in Mogadishu, killing 11 people including the deputy labour minister.

Since then at least four people have been killed this week in three blasts, including car bombs and roadside explosions.

"Another day. Another funeral. Another friend dead. Another acquaintance burnt alive. I have been to 4 funerals in 4 weeks. Mogadishans used to talk about being at the wrong place at the wrong time, now its degenerated to being at any place at any time," city resident Dalmar Hassan wrote on Twitter.

Shabaab fighters have been fighting for more than a decade to topple the government. They fled fixed positions they once held in Mogadishu in 2011, and have since lost many of their strongholds.

But they retain control of large rural swathes of the country, and continue to wage a guerrilla war against the authorities, striking at the heart of Somalia's government, despite years of foreign military support.

The bomb blast hit a restaurant in Mogadishu as people were eating lunch.

Mogadishu has been hit frequently by Al-Shabaab attacks.

Somalis rushed in to help take the wounded to hospital after the bombing.

The legal system of the United Arab Emirates is based on the Constitution of the United Arab Emirates; this system is dual in nature as it has local and federal courts with a Supreme Court Based at Abu Dhabi.

Unlike Britain and other countries where previous court judgments are regularly used as legal precedents, the UAE does not depend that much on precedents, although sometimes the judgments of higher courts can be applied by lower courts in similar cases.

Where legislative provisions do not cover a specific issue, the court will make a decision in accordance with Sharia law. Islamic jurisprudence is widely used in the construction and interpretation of the UAE law.
