The Real Treasure... ♥ This Is So BEAUTIFULLY Expressed
[source: Osho International]
Don't waste your life for that which is going to be taken away. Trust life. If you trust, only then can you drop your knowledge, only then can you put your mind aside. And with trust, something immense opens up. Then this life is no longer ordinary life, it becomes full of God (Love), overflowing. When the heart is innocent and the walls have disappeared, you are bridged with infinity. And you are not deceived; there is nothing that can be taken away from you. That which can be taken away from you is not worth keeping, and that which cannot be taken away from you... why should one be afraid of its being taken away? It cannot be taken away, there is no possibility. You cannot lose your REAL TREASURE. ~ Osho
The Man, His Son And The Donkey
An Aesop Folktale
Once an old man and his son were walking with their donkey to the fair to sell it. They passed a group of people on the road. A countryman noticed that the donkey was walking alongside them and laughed, “You fools, why don't you let the ass carry you? You're silly!"
The man heard what they said, and put his boy on the donkey while he walked. They had not gone far before another group saw them. One of them said, "How can the young man ride the ass, while the old man walks? That's too much."
Hearing this, the old man ordered the boy to get off, and rode the donkey himself. Soon, they heard voices behind them. There were two women. One of them said to the other, "Why is it that only the father gets to ride the ass? He's torturing the boy."
The man didn't know what to do at first. He thought and thought and finally decided to put his son up in front of him on the donkey.
Soon they reached the town. There too the passers-by began to jeer and point at them. The man stopped and asked them what they were scoffing at. The people said, "How can two heavy people ride on an ass? Aren't you ashamed of yourself for overloading that poor donkey? You're torturing the animal!"
The man and the boy got off. They had to think of what to do all over again. At last they had an idea. They took a long pole and tied the donkey's feet to it. Then they raised the pole to their shoulders and carried the donkey upside down.
The passersby could not stop laughing at the silly pair. Frustrated, the old man threw the donkey into the river, and walked home empty-handed.
The MORAL of this story:
When you try to please everybody, you won't please anybody. Those with no opinion of their own can only follow others, incapable of deciding between right and wrong and achieving nothing in the end.
In other words, just do your thing. Others opinion of you is none of your business. Keep walking on your path and don't let others steal your joy. Remember, they don't pay your bills.
In other words, just do your thing. Others opinion of you is none of your business. Keep walking on your path and don't let others steal your joy. Remember, they don't pay your bills.
Seeing The Glory Of God. Good Information For Those Wanting To Draw Closer To God, Who Want To Feel His Presence. This Is Your Own Personal Spiritual Journey Surrendering Ego.
Seeing The Glory Of God
written by Pastor Bob Briggs
[source: SermonCentral.com]
Summary: People desire to see God’s glory, but what does it take for His glory to be seen?
Moses asked God in Exodus 33:18, "Now, show me your glory." God responded to the bold request of Moses in the next verses saying, "I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. But, you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live."
God allows each of us a revelation of who He is, but within that, there is a mystery, a seeing through the glass dimly that will one day be revealed when we meet Him in eternity. Through Jesus Christ we have gained a clearer picture of Father, but I believe in our own lives, we have yet to scratch the surface of who God is and with that, the knowledge of what He is capable of doing in and through our lives. I want to share with you a 10 part series, Catching a Glimpse of God, so we, like Moses, can increase our knowledge and understanding of God which will lead us to a higher level of living as we apply the principles the Word of God teaches. In your bulletin I have included the titles for this series and I want to encourage you to plan to be here or if you are on vacation, to get the tapes or the entire series to share with others. The more knowledge you have, the less you can be introduced to the growing number of cults and false religions that are spreading across this land as we come into the new millennium.
Today I want to begin this series with a message entitled, "What happens when we see God?" The text comes from Isaiah 6:1-13 (READ).
Can you draw a visual image of what is taking place. Isaiah, the prophet of God, who has already worked in the role of prophet, having received a vision from God according to chapter one, in the reign of Uzziah, now stands in the throne room of the One who send the vision, the throne room of God. There he sees the back of a robe, the train, so large that it fills the temple, angels flying around the throne, proclaiming "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory." loud enough their voices shook the Temple, and smoke filled the room. Have you ever had an experience like this? John did in Revelation chapter one, and history records others who have had similar experiences with God.
In 1922, Smith Wigglesworth was ministering in Wellington, New Zealand and he called for a special prayer meeting with a group of 11 leaders. After each one had prayed, Wigglesworth rose to seek the Lord and the Presence of God began to fill the room. The light from God’s glory became extremely bright, and the heat in the room intense, so much so, the other men could not take it any longer and each one of them left the room, all except Wigglesworth, who was able to continue in the midst of the Shekinah glory of God.
I have a friend who told of the mist of God, his glory coming into the presence of his home as he and his wife communed with God. And the same God who has touched these lives, is the same God who would love to usher each one of us into His presence but we had best know what happens when we see Him.
The chapter starts out by stating, in the year King Uzziah died. There are several ways you can look at this inclusion into the text. Uzziah’s death in 740 B.C. could just be a road sign in history for dating the text, a landmark for us to come across, yet I believe the prophet Isaiah is really telling those who are seeking to enter into the presence of God something deeper than a date.
The first thing you are going to have to do to enter into the presence of God is to let your own King Uzziah die. Uzziah represented peace and security for Isaiah. He was someone everyone trusted in, who would take care of them, protect them and satisfy their hungers in life. A good person who blocked the need for drawing close to God. Some of us need to let our Uzziah’s die so we can learn to worship God’s majesty, to give Him the honor He alone deserves, to lift up and exalt His name for He alone is worthy of our praise and adoration, He alone is worthy to be Lord. And this will not happen when we have competing interests. What are the Uzziah’s of your life? Is it a boyfriend or girlfriend who pulls you away from your relationship with God? Young people especially, I want you to hear this. Missionary dating rarely works. That is where you date a non-Christian with the intent of bringing them to Christ. I know the personal pain it can bring. Laura had a cousin who was going for the Lord, dated a non-Christian, they married had children, all the while he did not accept her believes, only tolerated them when it was convenient for him. Racing down the freeway with another car one day, he lost control, Shelly was thrown through the windshield into oncoming traffic and died. She left a husband who is now mentally impaired and children who were no longer raised by their mothers Christian beliefs and now have a lifestyle as teens and adults that reflect that Uzziah in their upbringing. Uzziah could be your playthings, we live in one of the great recreational area areas of America and our boats and trailers, tents and snowboards could become a Uzziah when they interfere with our relationship with God and our desire to know Him more, and I could go on and on.
In the year King Uzziah died, Isaiah said, I saw the Lord. So the first thing that happens when we see the Lord is our Uzziah’s have died.
The second thing that happens is we see ourselves for who we truly are. Isaiah cried out in vs. 5, "Woe is me! I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among people of unclean lips."
Ruined in the Hebrew means unraveled, Isaiah stood in the presence of God and basically said, I am coming apart. The Apostle Paul fell like he was dead. People who truly fall in the spirit, or are slain in the spirit, I believe fall because they can no longer stand in the presence of the Lord because a revelation of their state begins to weaken their knees, they realize they are undone.
When you see God face to face, He will affect your self-esteem. What happens is you might have thought you were cool, you might have thought you were somebody, but in the presence of God you will discover you are not anything like you thought you were.
Can I be honest with you, we don’t take the Christian life serious enough because we don’t know who God is. That’s why this series is important. Let me give you an example of what I am speaking. How many of you have kids, either grown or not? How many of you have ever noticed with your kids there are times when they forget who the parent is and who the kid is? Okay, we have experienced this phenomena of childhood. I think you would agree, that when a kid forgets who the parent is, that child will try anything during that time of disorientation. Is that right? What happens is this, every now and then, the parents need to remind their child who’s who.
Well, we are like children at times. We have a tendency to forget who God is and we too, will try anything, and God has to bring us back to the understanding that we are not God. And if we are going to stand in His holiness, I guarantee you, this revelation is going to happen.
Standing in the presence of God, Isaiah got the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth about who he was, and it wasn’t all pleasant, that’s why he said, "Woe is me" That’s why all church services should not make you want to shout and feel good about yourself. If they do, you will never experience what truly happens when you see God. Shouting has its place, and I want us to shout and raise the roof for God, but I also realize some messages should make you cry, to gnash your teeth, to fall prostrate on your face before a living God. Because when you see God reveal Himself, when the true knowledge of God is revealed, it shows who you are.
The third thing that happens when you see God is repentance and forgiveness. The seraph’s, ministering before the Lord and to man, took a live coal and touched Isaiah’s lips, "See this has touched your lips, your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for." Romans 10:13 tells us, "Whosoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved." How do we call upon Him, with our lips, though which we ask for forgiveness of our sins.
So lets review, 1. Our Uzziah’s must die; 2. We will see ourselves for who we truly our; 3. This leads us to repentance and forgiveness.
And fourth, the final thing I see happens here in this passage when we see God is we receive our call and ministry.
We struggle so much with our purpose and reason for being because we have neglected to get into the presence of God in the terms God has set. We have so much pseudo-Christian activity. There was a man who built an enormous machine with pulleys, belts, gears and all the whistles. People were impressed with the machine, its inventor a genius at putting it all together. When asked what it did, well, it did nothing except make everything work and look good. Pseudo-Christianity, looks good on the outside, but Christ has been excluded, it runs well without Him, after all, when God comes, he messes up our plans. But let God come and see what happens, He will refine His plans for our life. What kind of trade off do you want?
God said, Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? I hope you understand he did not say this before Isaiah had worked through the process. Oh, he did use the prophet before this experience, but in a much limited way. Just read the book of Isaiah and you will discover a changed man, a great ministry, and greater results after chapter 6 then before. When you have stood in the presence of God there becomes no hesitation, no worry of inconvenience, no lack of desire to move out. Remember we have a room of angels that are shouting so loud the building is shaking, we have a room filled with smoke. We have Isaiah who has heard the voice of God lay out a challenge. I can hear Isaiah, not in a small voice, but one that wants to be heard above the sounds in the room, "Here am I, send me!"
So today, God always wants to draw you into His Temple, the inner court. What will happen when you see God? It is my prayer you will work through this chapter this week, but even more, I want to share the experience of seeing God right now, here in this room. He is here now, standing in our midst, his train fills the temple and he is waiting for you.
God Loves You – 3 Things You Need To Know About God’s Love For You.
I added the picture above to the message I've shared with you below. :)
written by Pastor Bruce Edwards
[source: BreakthroughForYou.com]
God loves you! No matter what. Did you know there is absolutely nothing that can separate you from the love of God? Romans 8:38-39 says,
“I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
God’s unstoppable love toward you is one of the most important Biblical truths in the Bible. Your relationship with God and how you live out your life is influenced by how much you understand this truth. In just a moment I’m going to share 3 powerful things about the love of God that will help you get a better understanding of God’s love for you.
Most Misunderstand the Love of God
Most Christians think they understand the love of God, but if they did they wouldn’t feel condemned, discouraged, depressed, and defeated. It wouldn’t be a problem loving others even those who are difficult to love. Worry, fear, doubt and unbelief would not be ruling so many believers thoughts and lives. Truly understanding the love of God cures all these problems
Faith Works by Love
Until we fully understand the love of God our faith doesn’t work the way it should. Faith works by love. (Galatians 5:6) When we understand the love of God every negative feeling and emotion turns positive. God’s love has the power to bring us into the fullness of all the good things God has for us.
The Greatest is Love
Having a deep revelation of God’s love for you is the most important thing you need in your life. 1 Corinthians 13:13 says, “Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.” God’s love is the greatest. Do you understand the love of God?
When You Understand God’s Love – You Experience the Riches of God
In Ephesians 3 the apostle Paul prays for believers to fully comprehend God’s love. Why? Because in verse 19 Paul says that when you grasp God’s love you will experience the richness of all that God has for you and you will be completely filled and flooded with God Himself! Are you lacking in any area of your life? If you are, the way to turn that around is to really understand the love of God.
God Loves You
Hear me – God loves you! He loves you right where you are and exactly the way you are. I want to help you better understand the love of God. Here are 3 powerful things you need to know about God’s love.
1. God’s Love has 4 Dimensions
“May you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. (Ephesians 3:18) Notice the love of God has four dimensions. There is width, length, height, and depth to God’s love. God’s love is all encompassing.
a) How Wide is God’s love? It is wide enough to reach across the whole world to every person regardless of where they are. God’s love is wide enough to reach you.
b) How Deep is God’?. The “depth” of God’s love refers to the intensity and intimacy of His love: “ God knows every detail about you. He cares about everything – from the smallest to the greatest. God has an intense-deep love for you.
c) How High is God’s Love? God’s love is high enough to cover any mistake you ever make. “Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens…” Psalm 36:5 NIV God’s love reaches to where ever you are and is able to cover you .
d) How Long is God’s Love?. God’s love never runs out. It goes forever – from eternity to eternity. You can’t use up God’s love. God loves you forever.
2. God’s Love is Unconditional
“But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” (Romans 5:8) There is nothing you can do to get God to love you any MORE than He does right now and there is nothing you can do to get God to love you any LESS than He does right now. God doesn’t love you because of your goodness. He doesn’t love you or stop loving you because of anything you do or don’t do. God loves you because He is Love. “God is love” (1 John 4:8).
Don’t allow the devil to deceive you into believing God’s love for you is based on your performance – if you are good enough, pray long enough, read the Bible more, pay tithes, go to church, etc. then God will love you and answer your prayers. This is not true, it’s a legalistic juggernaut. God’s love is unconditional.
3. God’s Love Never Fails
“Praise the Lord! He is good. God’s love never fails. Praise the God of all gods. God’s love never fails.” (Psalm 136:1-2) Regardless of the circumstances or situations in your life God’s love for you never stops. People will fail. Governments will fail. Businesses will fail, but the love of God never fails. Take comfort in the fact that God’s love for you is unfailing. No matter how much you fall short in life, God is not willing to give up on you. Trust Him – “But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever.” (Psalm 52:8) God’s love never fails.
God’s Amazing Love
Gods love is amazing and He wants you to know how much He loves you and that He has great plans for you. God’s love is unconditional, it never fails, and all you need to do to experience it is accept it, and rejoice in it. So, stop trying to earn God’s love and just experience it!

(Feeling love is feeling good, I believe in love)
Yeah
(Feeling love is feeling good, I believe in love)
Yeah
Feeling love, that's all
That's enough for me
Yet I see, I see faces
Covered up and empty eyed
Empty spaces
Where there used to be a soul inside
Nothing and no one ever gets to you
Seems the wind could blow right through you
Believin' in gods that never knew you
I believe in love
I believe in love
I believe in feelin' good
And that's feelin' love
Now worry
Climbin' up your money tree
You've got to hurry
Monkey do what monkey see
You're on a one-way street and you're speeding
Missin' the signs you ought to be readin'
Passin' things you'll later be needin'
I believe in love, what?
I believe it nobody sold me
Always knew it, nobody told me
I believe in someone to hold me
I believe in love
I believe in love, I do
Yes, I believe in feelin' good
And that's feelin' love, yeah
(Feeling love is feeling good)
Feeling love, that's all
That's enough for me
I won't be, don't wanna be lonely
Sleeping in an empty bed
Shouldn't be only
A place to rest my head
But I don't want to find myself one day
Waking up and looking at Monday
With some what's his name left from Sunday
I believe in love, what?
I believe it nobody sold me
Always knew it, nobody told me
I believe in someone to hold me
I believe in love
I believe in love
I believe in feelin' good
Now everybody should
They believe in feelin' good
Believin' in, believin' in love, LOVE!

Dear Friends,
Full Moon is Tuesday, February 19 at 8:53 AM Mountain Standard Time (MST).
This full moon activates our intuition and emotional side at the same time as inviting us to take more responsibility for the organization of the details connected with our intentions. Creativity and inspiration are key words for this full moon and we need to give our imagination some room to play and dream. We can put off the organization of details as we remind ourselves that life is not all seriousness and growth. There needs to be time for the inner child to express through creativity without any attachment to a specific goal.
The needs for expansion, adventure and expression are alive and well and should be acknowledged as allies during this time. Any resistance you have to a little chaos should be let go on an exhale. Take a break, do something fun, give your creativity an outlet and share your gratitude and inspiration with others. With that said, it is also good to make a plan for organizing the details and giving some structure to what comes from imagination, inspiration and creativity.
Blessings,
Lena

Virgo Full Moon
Sun in Pisces ~ Moon in Virgo 0º SuperMoon
Tuesday, February 19 at 8:53 AM Mountain Standard Time
(Tuesday, February 19, 3:53 PM Greenwich Mean Time)
Mercury will be our guide for this Full Moon escapade. The Sun moves into Pisces on the 18th taking us out of the cool, impersonal objective realms of air sign Aquarius and into the illusive, receptive watery realms of Pisces. Already in Pisces, Mercury awaits the Sun. With the shift of the Sun into Pisces, we are beckoned into the invisible worlds of imagination, intuition and the more accepting expressions of love rooted in compassion and the desire to serve.
Mercury’s (16º) watery qualities are magnified by a conjunction to Neptune 15º, ruler of Pisces. Mercury/Neptune will shift and open our perceptions to the emotional arenas. Neptune teaches us to be like the vast ocean – the tides, the waves, the drops. Neptune dissolves boundaries, and unites all. We will be sensitive to nuances of feeling like never before. We may not know the source of our feelings. Are they ours, a work partners, from the collective, from the Earth itself? Our imaginations will be calling to us to create, dream, and give our poetic selves free rein to lead us. Messages from our allies in the invisible world can be stronger, more significant. The dream world may turn up the volume and infuse you with vivid, relevant insights. Music and film are the perfect mediums for entering another world and deeply experiencing another’s reality. Meditation can achieve deeper levels of awareness, peace and healing. Practice asking questions of Spirit and this other world and listen expectantly for the response.
Pisces/Neptune rule the spiritual aspects of the chart. We can easily expand into unity consciousness where the web of life links all living forms and where love is the medium that binds us together. We will see Neptune in Pisces 16º empowered again when the Sun and Moon join at Pisces New Moon 15º on March 6th.
We still have more than two weeks remaining to move decidedly forward before Mercury becomes our first planet this year to turn retrograde on March 6. This means Mercury will be in Pisces for an inordinately long time, six weeks, instead of the usual two to three, so it seems we are meant to explore these intuitive realms and learn to embody them, dissolve the boundaries that bind us closely to this physical construct, and bring that other-worldly learning down to the material plane and into your daily life like never before.
I say this because Mercury in Pisces is exactly sextile Saturn in Capricorn 16º. Here is an open portal for bringing the help, support and wisdom of spirit into the material plane of your life. Saturn in his own sign loves to uphold the values of achievement, focus and responding in life in a practical way. Saturn wants to accomplish what needs to be done, clear the path of obstacles, and bank his earnings for growth. Capricorn is the businessperson of the zodiac and takes the responsibility to build the protective structures of community that insures stability, business and progress will continue.
Venus in Capricorn 18º finds herself between two heavies, Saturn 16º and Pluto 22º – a sobering environment for her. She will, no doubt, soften their stern attitude toward what is expendable and frivolous and bring an element of negotiation, balance, and a feminine concern for seven generations. They, Saturn and Pluto, in their turn will seek to revamp and make enduring our finances and the underpinnings of our relationships whether personal or professional. Here is the practical antidote to all that Piscean, other worldly influence. Get real and get practical and be realistic with your time if you want to move energy in the material world. Be wary of falling prey to illusion, denial and addictions – the nemesis of Piscean energy and leaking your energy away. Venus has significant power in this chart.
Mars, our direct line to action, moves into Taurus on Feb. 14 just ahead of Uranus representing a dynamic energy duo that may push you ahead with a jolt from the cosmos to get you moving toward a more inspired path. The cocktail of the planet of action mixed with the planet of change may be the boost you need to get your resources in order and become more self-sufficient. It is going to be important to know what you truly value in the near future as Uranus makes a major move into Taurus for the next seven years. Mars here may make you dig in your heels or needlessly resist what’s before you. Take a breath, create some space and allow the rarefied energy of Uranus at the exalted 29th degree of Aries gift you a direct transmission from your higher self about your new direction. We’re all learning to relinquish control to something greater than the survival oriented nature of our ego minds. We have so much more in store for us.
Mars in Taurus trines and is in full service to the Virgo Full Moon. Deborah Houlding, well respected astrologer, defines Virgo so well, “…the benefits of Virgo are that it bestows purity, diplomacy, a mastery of words, a discriminating intellect, a propensity for study, a talent for investigation and analysis, skillful creativity, and a keen appreciation of the mysteries of nature.” * You hear the ring of the Mercury rulership and influence in her description. Virgo helps us organize, manage and maintain the fruits of our labors. Both Virgo and Pisces are mutable signs able to adapt to what is at hand and thriving on changing circumstances and times.
Chiron re-enters Aries on the 18th after its final visit to Pisces. For the next seven years this natural healer will seek to realign the divine masculine energies represented by Mars-ruled Aries. Our independence and self-awareness will be brought forward in our attention so we may recapture our source of courage, exuberance and pioneering spirit. We ask that the wound demonstrated as aggression and selfish recklessness we see around us be healed and turned into strong medicine for the Earth and its peoples.

Iran's capital city has banned the public from walking pet dogs, as part of a long-standing official campaign to discourage dog-ownership.
Tehran Police Chief Hossein Rahimi said "we have received permission from the Tehran Prosecutor's Office, and will take measures against people walking dogs in public spaces, such as parks".
'Fear and anxiety'
He told the Young Journalists Club news agency that the ban was due to dogs "creating fear and anxiety" among members of the public.
As if this were not draconian enough, Brigadier-General Rahimi added that driving with a dog in your car was also banned.
"It is forbidden to drive dogs around in cars and, if this is observed, serious police action will be taken against the car-owners in question," he told the agency, which was set up by Iran's state broadcaster to train young journalists.
Owning dogs as pets, and walking them in public, has been contentious ever since the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran, and owners have sometimes had their dogs confiscated.
Dogs are viewed as "unclean" by Iran's Islamic authorities, who also regard dog-ownership as a symbol of the pro-Western policy of the ousted monarchy.
The Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance banned the media from publishing any advertisements for pets or pet-related products back in 2010, and there was a push in parliament five years ago to fine and even flog dog-walkers.
The latest anti-dog drive has not created great waves on social media, although one Twitter user asked whether the people of Tehran will be forced to ride camels next.

A pop group has been banned by Iran's religious police after a female guitarist sang a 12 second solo at their concert in Tehran.
Negin Parsa was playing guitar in singer Hamid Askari's well known band on January 30 at the Milad Tower concert venue.
But Iranian law - which is dictated by Islamic Sharia law - only permits that women sing in front of other women and can only sing in front of men as part of a duet or chorus.
During large concerts such as Askari's, performances are monitored by supervisors and Parsa's microphone was taken away shortly after her singing.
But Askari decided to flout the regulations and brought his microphone over to share with Parsa in a show of defiance, France 24 reported.
Parsa shared a picture on Instagram of the pair of them sharing the microphone, saying: 'Many people talk a lot but when their business interests are compromised it turns out to be just slogans.'
She thanked him for representing her and 'all the girls in your land.'
As a result of the law breaking, the Iranian authorities told them they would be censored until further notice while they review the case, the French news site reported.
The Office of Music of the Ministry of Guidance stated there had been a 'violation', according to local media.
Askari said he had been performing for more than 14 years and understood the government's red-line, having never once crossed it, Fararu reported.
Parsa is a 29-year-old composer and multi-talented musician who has collaborated with many of Iran's pop stars, specialising in rock music.
Last month there was reportedly a similar incident involving Ali Ghamsari, a popular folk musician, who also had a woman sing.
Ghamsari was given warnings and the woman's microphone was cut during the singing.

Tehran: January 31, 2019. Iranian Christians request prayer following the arrests of five female converts from Islam to Christianity. These include Ruhsari Kamberi, a 65-year old who was arrested and detained in Karaj, and forced to endure ten days of intensive interrogation.
Early one morning, shortly before Christmas 2018, Ruhsari Kamberi was arrested at her home by three members of Iranian intelligence. They searched her residence, confiscating mobile phones, Bibles and other Christian materials, then took her to the intelligence offices for questioning. Fewer details are available concerning four other female Christian converts, from different church groups, who were arrested at the same time.
Ruhsari was interrogated from morning until evening for ten consecutive days, then released after paying 30 million Toman bail. Two weeks ago she was brought before the prosecutor to answer charges of “acting against national security” and forced to go to a religious leader to be “instructed” and offered the opportunity to return to Islam.
Friends of Ruhsari have been shocked by this disrespectful treatment towards an elderly woman and report that she has been very upset by her experience.

SRINAGAR, India - Indian security forces on Monday killed two suspected organizers of a deadly suicide bombing in the disputed region of Kashmir that has fueled tension between nuclear-armed India and Pakistan, police said.
The suicide bomb attack on a paramilitary police convoy in Indian-controlled Kashmir last Thursday killed at least 40 men, the deadliest single attack on Indian forces in 30 years of insurgency in the Muslim-majority region.
The Pakistan-based militant group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) claimed responsibility for the attack. India accuses Pakistan for harboring the group. Pakistan denies that.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, facing an election that must be held by May, has promised a strong response to the attack and says he has given the military a free hand to tackle cross-border militancy.
The two suspected masterminds of the bomb attack killed in a clash on Monday were both Pakistani nationals and members of JeM, police said in a statement.
"The encounter is still in progress and the security forces are on the job," police said.
Four Indian soldiers and a civilian were also killed during the fighting, police said. One police source told Reuters one of the dead militants had been identified as Abdul Rashid Gazi, who went by the alias Kamran Bhai.
Indian troops had earlier cordoned off Pinglan village in Kashmir's Pulwama district, where the attack took place on Thursday.
An indefinite curfew has been imposed and police have asked people to stay indoors.
Mohammad Yunis, a journalist in Pulwama, said troops were searching the village and civilians trapped in houses were being evacuated.
On Sunday, police said Indian forces had detained 23 men suspected of links to the militants who carried out the Thursday bombing.
Kashmir is at the heart of decades of hostility between India and Pakistan. They both claim it in full but rule it in part.
India has withdrawn trade privileges offered to Pakistan and has warned of further action.
With tension mounting, Pakistan withdrew its envoy to India for consultations, a spokesman for Pakistan's foreign ministry said on Twitter on Monday.
The Thursday bomb attack has sparked outrage in India with calls for revenge circulating on social media, and rising animosity towards Kashmiri Muslims in other parts of the Hindu-majority country.
The Confederation of All India Traders called for a nationwide strike to protest against the attack, and footage from Reuters partner ANI showed shuttered shops in several states on Monday.

NEW DELHI - India will take all possible diplomatic steps to ensure the “complete isolation” of Pakistan in response to an attack by an Islamist militant group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) that killed 44 Indian paramilitary police in Kashmir on Thursday, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said on Friday.
This would include India removing most favoured nation privileges given to Pakistan under World Trade Organisation rules, he said.
Pakistan-based JeM claimed responsibility for a car bomb that killed the police in one of the deadliest attacks ever in the India-controlled Kashmir region.

A glimpse into the future of the whole of Europe. When I spoke in Germany in 2010, a teenage girl told me that she was harassed every day on her way to school by Muslim migrants, because she was not, in their view, properly covered.

“Austrian Girls Forced to Wear Hijabs to Avoid Harassment, Ex-MP Claims,” Sputnik News, February 15, 2019:
According to Doctor Marcus Franz, who used to serve as a lawmaker in the National Council, there are “problem zones” in the country’s capital where local girls are being forced to hide that they are Austrian.
Former member of the Austrian National Council, Doctor Marcus Franz, stated in an interview to broadcaster oe24.TV that he knew fathers in Vienna’s “problem areas” who give their daughters hijabs in order not to let them be recognised as Austrians and protect them from harassment. He cited witnesses from his personal acquaintances in the 15th district of the Austrian capital.
The man pointed to “permanent micro-aggression”. He said girls are dressing differently than people in Austria are used to because of an “unhealthy aggressive attitude”.
“Girls, young women as well as older women are simply afraid. You can observe this among people, you can see it plain and simple when you work in a social profession — as I do. And one should make a clear distinction between those who are new and those who have already been with us for a long time”, he stated.
Since 2015, Europe has been facing a migration crisis, with scores of refugees arriving from conflict-torn countries and crime rates being increasingly linked to the drastic influx of migrants all across the continent, particularly in Germany, France, Belgium, and even the comparatively well-off Austria. According to a Crime and Safety report by the United States Department of State, Austria is targeted by largely foreign criminals, with 64 percent of drug-related offences being carried out by criminals who are born abroad.
The discussion flared up after the murder of a 16-year-old girl in the Austrian city of Steyr. The key suspect in her brutal stabbing is asylum seeker Saber Akhondzada, who was denied asylum, but allowed to stay in the country, as he is wanted on murder charges in his home country of Afghanistan because Austria does not deport people facing a death sentence in another country. According to the victim’s family, she had recurring rows with her possessive boyfriend Akhondzada, reacting violently to the girl talking to other men and thus trying to intimidate her.

The mother of Muhammad Said Muhammad Ali, a terrorist who wounded three officers in a dramatic stabbing attempt before being shot and killed, is seen praising her 19-year-old son for his “heroic” act.
In a February 14 interview with Al-Aqsa TV that was translated by Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) earlier this week, his mother talks about how her son was “martyred” at the Damascus Gate in occupied Jerusalem.
“He was a hell of a guy, she says. “A butcher. A lion. You could see in the video of the attack how practiced he was in wielding a knife, because he was a butcher...and knew how to slaughter.”
In what appears to be almost a song. She calls her son “courageous.”
“You could hear the soldiers of Jerusalem’s riot police (screaming) like madmen,” she sings. “You are the pride of Islam, as millions bear witness. Your knife sent those midgets running in all directions. Our homeland is precious and deserves that we sacrifice our lives for it.”

“I entered Israel with a knife because I wanted to become a martyr and murder a Jew.”
Why did he want to murder a Jew? Because his religion told him that to do so was a holy act. The notorious genocidal hadith states: “Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.” (Sahih Muslim 6985)

“Suspect in murder of teen: ‘I wanted to kill a Jew and be a martyr’ — report,” by Jacob Magid, Times of Israel, February 12, 2019:
The Palestinian man suspected of brutally murdering 19-year-old Ori Ansbacher told interrogators from the Shin Bet security service that he entered Israel and looked for a Jewish victim because he wanted to be a martyr, Channel 13 news reported Monday.
“I entered Israel with a knife because I wanted to become a martyr and murder a Jew,” Arafat Irfaiya reportedly said. “I met the girl by chance.”
Irfaiya said that after he crossed the Green Line he sprinted to deliberately avoid detection by security cameras.
It was the first time Irfaiya appeared before cameras since his Friday arrest in the West Bank city of Ramallah. He had open scabs on his forehead, nose and below his right eye. The suspect appeared to smirk from his seat as photographers flashed their cameras before being ushered out of the courtroom.
Despite a last-minute official appeal from reporters, the judge decided to hold the session behind closed doors. Channel 12 news reported that investigators from the Shin Bet security service and Israel Police hope to indict Irfaiya, a 29-year-old Hebron resident, for murder in the context of a terrorist act, in addition to a charge of rape.
Details regarding the rape charge had previously remained under wraps due to a court-imposed gag order.
On Sunday, the Shin Bet announced that the murder was a nationalistically motivated terror attack. The intelligence agency, which has been running the investigation with assistance from police, had held off on announcing a terror motive, despite proclamations to that effect from right-wing lawmakers and pundits that began shortly after Ansbacher’s body was found in a forest on the outskirts of Jerusalem on Thursday evening.
The Shin Bet said that Irfaiya reenacted the murder in front of interrogators and “implicated himself definitively in the incident.”
In the predawn hours of Sunday morning, the IDF entered Irfaiya’s home in Hebron in order to prepare the structure for demolition.
Citing the suspect’s account under questioning, the Shin Bet said in a statement Saturday night that Irfaiya left his home in Hebron on Thursday armed with a knife and made his way toward Jerusalem, where he spotted Ansbacher in the woods and fatally attacked her….
