On April 30 (London) and April 29 in the Americas, an amazing, powerful Full Moon in Scorpio blesses us right as Mars and Pluto (co-rulers of Scorpio) form a conjunction!
Scorpio is an intense, magnetic star sign.
Scorpio TOTALLY TRANSFORMS.
Some area of your life will be completely changed after the Scorpio Full Moon!
Expect an extraordinary ENERGY surge too with the Mars/Pluto conjunction happening the same time – plus purging and going DEEP emotionally…
You will experience changes – as TRUTH is uncovered (and may take you out of your comfort zone).
Scorpio makes sure we go to the core of the matter, as there is always more to investigate underneath the surface…
One thing you’ll notice is being able to SEE through people, and get straight to the point!
As long as you share your insights with grace and use your power wisely, you can HEAL at the same time (instead of making others feel uneasy).
I added the images above to Tania Gabrielle's message I've shared with you in this post. The pictures and gifs that I share sum up my interpretation of the current astrological message. I highlighted the part of the message that inspired the picture gifs I chose.
Also, April, is a 15/6 Universal Month, and the Sun, Moon and Saturn will be at 9° – an exquisite code of LOVE and letting go, heart-centered expression and compassion – and manifesting expansive abundance!
Several powerful planetary events are activated during the full moon:
Chiron moved into Aries a few days ago – starting NEW 50-year healing journey.
Mars formed a conjunction with Pluto on April 26 – Pluto RULES Scorpio and Mars is the former ruler of Scorpio – so this magnification brings a big energy surge and push for success.
Sun and Moon form a harmonious triangle with Saturn – (Sun trine, Moon sextile Saturn) – as all three are exactly 9° awakening your desire to assert yourself and persist.
You’ll notice your creative endurance has gone up a notch and how you have a tremendous capacity for concentration.
I added the images above to Tania Gabrielle's message I've shared with you in this post. The pictures and gifs that I share sum up my interpretation of the current astrological message.

Full Moon is Sunday, April 29 at 6:58 PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT)
This is an intense full moon with energy similar to an eclipse. It is an extremely important time to be mindful of your reactions and to take responsibility for them. If you are triggered in any way, you have an opportunity to look at those deep patterns that may be coming to the surface and work through them with focused and disciplined intention. Get help if you need it.
On the other side of this personal inner crisis energy is the support for expansion and the possibility of moving into something new and different. This is also a good day for gratitude and honor as you celebrate all of your accomplishments up to this point in your life without being attached to how they have defined you. Allow this full moon to support you in creating new intentions for redefining who you are.
Blessings,
Lena

Scorpio Full Moon
Sun in Taurus ~ Moon in Scorpio 9º
Sunday, April 29, 6:58 PM Mountain Daylight Time
(Monday, April 30 12:58 AM Greenwich Mean Time)
Scorpio’s Full Moon gifts can be plentiful ~ alignment with the feminine mysteries, diving deep, dying to the past, finding renewal, and powerful life force energy releasing when shadowy subconscious material is brought into the light where it can be named. These are gifts we may be challenged to receive this Full Moon. Where Scorpio, Pluto and the 8th house live is where your shamanic abilities to engage the invisible world lie.
This Moon that is the culmination of all that was set in motion at the Aries New Moon is acknowledging us for the steps we have taken towards breaking free and stepping up. We have completed the first of three Mercury retrogrades in the fire signs. We are learning to honor our own divinity while relinquishing what cannot be controlled. The chart here, especially seen in the aspects, asks for significant adjustments, adaptation, regrouping to include who and what doesn’t quite go down easily, resolution of stressful situations, swallowing your pride and man upping with apologies and taking steps to act in a new way. Scorpio and Pluto are powerful medicines asking everything of you before granting the joy of rebirth.
We bow to the previous Aries New Moon as we reach culmination here at Full Moon for the experiences we have undertaken, crisis overcome and commitments we have made towards breaking free and stepping up.
The Taurus Sun and Scorpio Moon are squaring the North and South Nodes (Leo/Aquarius) within a degree forming a Grand Square in fixed signs ~ aligning all the fixed, power signs at cross purposes generally known to be a difficult array and causing stressful events. Involving the Nodes suggests it’s a growth process for us where we need to let go, draw on skills we have attained, and take steps on that edgy new path (sucking up the growing pains we encounter).
North Node in Leo is exactly conjunct asteroid Ceres, so our basic bonding with parents where our self worth has its fundamental roots is our point of growth here. How we nurture our own hearts, how we can step into the power of self love, and recognize our divine origins will measure how well we can love another as our self in another form.
The ruler of the Full Moon is Pluto, but also Mars. Mars was the traditional ruler of Scorpio until Pluto was discovered in 1930 and given rulership over Scorpio. And notably, Pluto and Mars are closely conjunct in Capricorn. Mars loves the discipline and focus of Capricorn and is exalted there. Pluto/Mars are in a special creative aspect, a quintile or 72º relationship to the Full Moon, so we have a portal, if activated by our intentions and rituals, focused on the Moon to connect deeply with the mysteries that this emissary of the feminine, water power sign Moon holds. Call up the source of your creativity, fertility, and powers to destroy what you have created in the past and dance with your ability to heal yourself from the cellular to the cosmic levels. This Scorpio Moon is rich, warm, deep and powerful asking you to go out into the night and return renewed and refreshed having touched something deep inside yourself that nourishes beyond the needs of the body.
Call on your ancestors. With Vesta, representing that part of ourselves that we hold sacred and dedicate to a higher calling, Saturn, Pluto and Mars all in Capricorn, our elders, ancestors and wise ones are waiting to be called on to support us. Mars has been given the mission of activating the powerful forces of Saturn’s discipline and experienced wisdom geometrically stronger being in its own sign as well as Pluto’s ruthless transformative force to eliminate stagnation. Call on your ancestors, your allies, your guides to stand with you at this great shifting time. Learn to ask for help. Tremendous support is available to you for the asking from the invisible world.
Earlier in this week, Pluto has turned retrograde for the next six months; it’s powerfully at standstill now at 21º Capricorn. Here is an invitation to come and sit under the Tree of Life with your own inner elder and be taught by your own inner shaman.
Chiron entered a new sign this week for the next seven or so years. Now at 0º Aries the powerful point of new beginnings, it is welcomed by Juno 0º Aries, asteroid of intimacy and committed relationship and where in weakened expression, we give away our power to another. Your intimate commitments may be under scrutiny and tested at this Full Moon. Chiron will be taking us on a new healing journey with our masculine energies symbolized by Aries. We will explore our freedom, our courage, and deepen our self-awareness. Chiron will also retrograde in a couple of months to clear up any unfinished business in Pisces. Chiron’s purpose is to transform our wounds into wisdom so we can be present for others, to mentor and teach, and to bring us into holistic alignment with our body, mind and spirit utilizing earth based medicine from the plant and animal worlds.
‘There is always help along the way’ wise ones have shared, and this Full Moon is no exception. Who shall we look to?
Saturn at 9º Capricorn offers a channel to diffuse the lockdown of the Grand Square in the fixed power signs (Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius all 9º). Saturn trines the Sun and sextiles the Moon – both aspects of ease and opportunity. We can look to Saturn’s long view of time remembering we are moving through a long, multi-year period of major transformation here on our planet. We can lean into Saturn’s patience and propensity for order and discipline as a way to deal with the chaos that is arising – both inner and outer. With Saturn trine the Sun in earth signs, it points to getting your life in order on the physical plane, taking those steps that give you peace of mind and stability in your day to day life and free you up to move on your creative ambitions. Keep your physical body well grounded to better process the frequencies that are bombarding you and keep you out of mental spin.
Mercury in fiery Aries is also in a helping position to the Grand Square created by the Sun/Moon and North/South Nodes. Mercury, our communicating and networking ally keeping us mentally objective and neutral, trines the North Node and sextiles the South Node. Here we are helped to learn new ways of communicating our truth to others, and we are able to let go of our fixed positions as we share our personal truth.
Finally, Neptune in Pisces 15º trines both the Full Moon in Scorpio and nearby Jupiter giving us the watery ruled emotional resources we need to turn this challenge of a Grand Square in to nourishment for our spiritual growth as we continue to use forgiveness, acceptance and surrender for ourselves and others. We learn with each turning of the Moon to hold our lives as a choice. Which will it be here? Crisis or Opportunity?
In Jesus’ day, it was dangerous to talk about kingdoms. It was dangerous because there was really only one kingdom: Caesar’s. The Roman Empire dominated the world, and it dominated the world through brute force. History books talk about the Pax Romana, or Roman peace. It was a period of relative peace in the world during the 1st and 2nd Centuries when Rome was at the height of its power. But if you look into the lives of 1st Century Jews, you get the sense that Roman peace came at the tip of a sword. It was Rome’s way or it was no way. In fact, the Romans specifically designed something for people who got in their way: crucifixion. Rome crushed people. It slowly squeezed everything people had out of them with its endless taxes. It was a kingdom of power, a kingdom of the sword.
That’s the setting in which Jesus was telling stories about a different kind of kingdom, a kingdom not of the sword but of the seed. Both of these kingdoms hold power in their growth, but one uses death to accomplish growth while the other uses life.
One of the central ideas Jesus communicates with these parables of the mustard seed and the leaven is that the kingdom of heaven is growing. By its very nature, the mustard seed is invasive. The plant was and is known for it’s resilience and it’s tendency to keep on growing even when it is unwanted. Farmers fear the mustard seed because the plants can get into everything. It invades every nook and cranny, like weeds growing up in concrete cracks. In fact, there are modern day accounts of mustard plants growing in the cracks of boulders and splitting them in half. The seed itself is less than a centimeter long, yet is has the potential to split a massive boulder through it’s growth.
The same is true for the leaven that the woman hides in the dough. Most Bible translations refer to it as yeast, but the leaven is actually a fungus that expands when given moisture, heat, and sugar. Like the mustard seed, the leaven is alive. It moves. It bobs. It weaves. Even though it’s small, it is constantly expanding.
Most of the people Jesus spoke with were poor and powerless. They were tiny in the face of massive Roman Empire. Wealth and power were the dominant values of the day. The people who possessed them were the ones who shaped and changed the world. If you didn’t have them, you were nothing. You didn’t matter. You’d never change the world.
Yet Jesus challenges this assumption. He looks into the faces of the poor and powerless and tells them that they have resources of a different sort. They are still capable of changing the world. He speaks to them of a kingdom whose strength is in its smallness. It’s interesting that the kingdom Jesus spent so much time talking about started with just a bunch of poor people in Israel, but within a hundred years it had spread like wildfire throughout the Roman Empire. Now, thousands of years later, all that’s left of Rome are piles of broken rocks. Not so with the kingdom. The kingdom is still humming with life, finding its way into cracks and crevices and darkness, reminding the weak, the small, the hurting, the powerless that they have vast resources within them, and that they can shape and change the world in profound ways.
But Jesus doesn’t say that the kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed. He says it is like a mustard seed that has been planted. A seed sitting on the sidewalk is nothing more than potential unmet, but when that seed is planted and cared for Jesus says, “it will grow into a plant upon which others may rest”. Because this kingdom is alive, it must be planted, it must be cared for, tended to and nurtured or it won’t grow.
There are seeds just sitting inside of us-seeds we’ve neglected or assumed would grow on their own. We don’t get to be neutral in it all. We don’t get to sit this one out. We each will have an impact on the world around us through our actions or inactions. When we nurture the seeds that have been planted inside of us, the kingdom of heaven has a field day. When we fail to nurture those seeds, our inaction creates a world where Roman Empires flourish.
For centuries people have been caring for their seeds. Standing up for the rights of the oppressed, feeding those who are hungry, caring for those in need, and bringing praise to God. The seed is like a legacy that is passed on through the generations, one that we each get to care for in our own way. The seed is growing and therefore always changing. It looks different to different people. It never looks exactly the same. But the one thing that Jesus says always remains the same is that it will grow and it will provide rest for others.
The mustard plant grows up into a tree with branches, and the birds of the air come to rest on it. The leaven expands to create a massive batch of bread to nurture people. When the seeds grow inside of us, there are always implications for others.
Some friends of mine recently lost their eighteen-month old daughter. Her death has been excruciating for everyone. So a handful of us got together a few nights ago to love and support them. We cried, we prayed, we hugged, we sat silently, and we looked at pictures. At the end of the evening our friends said to us, “we just want to thank you for sharing this weight with us.” Somehow our presence had actually lifted a little weight off their shoulders. They were able to stop for a moment and simply rest on our branches, to feed on the loving presence of those seated around them. Every corner of that living room was filled with the kingdom. It was a tangled mess of branches and bread, and it gave them rest.
This is the kingdom of heaven. It is within you. It is not far from you or beyond your reach.
Self-Acceptance
Heart's-ease in the king's garden
[source: Osho International]
You cannot improve upon yourself. And I am not saying that improvement does not happen, remember--but you cannot improve upon yourself. When you stop improving upon yourself, life improves you. In that relaxation, in that acceptance, life starts caressing you, life starts flowing through you. Nobody else has ever been like you and nobody else will ever be like you; you are simply unique, incomparable.
Accept this, love this, celebrate this--and in that very celebration you will start seeing the uniqueness of the others, the incomparable beauty of the others.
Love is possible only when there is a deep acceptance of oneself, the other, the world. Acceptance creates the milieu in which love grows, the soil in which love blooms.
I have heard:
A king went into his garden and found wilted and dying trees, shrubs and flowers. The oak said it was dying because it could not be tall like the pine. Turning to the pine, he found it drooping because it was unable to bear grapes like the vine. And the vine was dying because it could not blossom like the rose. He found Heart's-ease blooming and as fresh as ever. Upon inquiry, he received this reply:
"I took it for granted that when you planted me you wanted Heart's-ease. If you had desired an oak, a vine or a rose, you would have planted them. So I thought that since you put me here, I should do the best I can to be what you want. I can be nothing but what I am, and I am trying to be that to the best of my ability."
You are here because this existence needs you as you are. Otherwise somebody else would have been here!--existence would not have helped you to be here, would not have created you. You are fulfilling something very essential, something very fundamental, as you are. If God wanted a Buddha he could have produced as many Buddhas as he wanted. He produced only one Buddha--that was enough, and he was satisfied to his heart's desire, utterly satisfied. Since then he has not produced another Buddha or another Christ.
He has created you instead. Just think of the respect that the universe has given to you! You have been chosen, not Buddha, not Christ, not Krishna. You will be needed more, that's why. You fit more now. Their work is done, they contributed their fragrance to existence. Now you have to contribute your fragrance.
But the moralists, the puritans, the priests, they go on teaching you, they go on driving you crazy. They say to the rose, "Become a lotus." And they say to the lotus, "What are you doing here? You have to become something else." They drive the whole garden crazy, everything starts dying--because nobody can be anybody else, that is not possible.
That's what has happened to humanity. Everybody is pretending. Authenticity is lost, truth is lost, everybody is trying to show that he is somebody else. Just look at yourself: you are pretending to be somebody else. And you can be only yourself--there is no other way, there has never been, there is no possibility that you can be anybody else. You will remain yourself. You can enjoy it and bloom, or you can wither away if you condemn it.
Psalm 42:7 says, "Deep calls unto deep." Only a call from the depths can provoke a response from the depths. Nothing shallow can ever touch the depths, nor can anything superficial touch the inward parts. Only the deep will respond to the deep. Anything that does not issue from the depths cannot touch the depths. Others can respond deep within to only what issues from deep within us. When we go to a certain place and listen to a message, the only thing that touches us is something that has issued from the depths of others. If nothing comes from the depths, the help we receive is just superficial. We have to see the importance of the depths. Anything that is not from the depths will never reach the depths of others. If we have never received help or benefit in our depths, we will never have anything issuing from our depths. If we want to render spiritual help to others, something must issue from our depths. If we do not dig deep, we can never gain others. Unless our utterance is from the depths, we will not touch the depths in others, even though we gain their emotions and thoughts and make them cry or be happy or excited for a while. Only deep calls unto deep. Superficial expressions will not touch the depths of others.
Deep Roots
One principle in preaching and receiving the word is found in the Lord's parable of the sower. While the sower sowed, some seeds fell beside the way, some on the rocky place, some into the thorns, and some into the good earth. This shows us four different ways for man to receive the word. The Lord Jesus tells us that among these different conditions, one is the rocky place. There is a little earth on the surface, but underneath there are rocks. When the seed falls into this kind of ground, it springs up quickly, but as soon as the sun comes out, it withers because of the lack of root.
What is a root? It is growth that occurs beneath the soil. What are the leaves? They are growth that occur above the soil. In other words, roots are the hidden life, whereas leaves are the manifest life. The trouble with many Christians is that, while there is much apparent life, there is very little secret life. In other words, there is the lack of a hidden life. You have been a Christian for a number of years, have you not? Then let me ask: How much of your life is hidden from view? How much is unknown to others? You stress outward works, Yes, good works are important; but apart from that manifest expression of your life, how much of your life remains hidden: If all your spiritual life is exposed, you do not have any root. Are all your virtues before God manifested before man, or is there something more that is unknown to man? If all your experiences are manifested, then all your growth is upward; there is no downward growth. If this is the case, you are a person who has only leaves without root, and you are on shallow ground.
In our Christian life it is necessary that we learn the meaning of the Body of Christ; we must learn to have a life of the Body. On the other hand, we must learn that the life given to each member of His Body by the Lord is distinctly individual. The measure that has been given to you personally by Him needs to be guarded; otherwise, it will lose its specific character and will be of no particular use to God. If that which has been specially committed to you is exposed, it will wither.
The discourse of the Lord Jesus on the Mount was most remarkable. On the one hand He said, "You are the light of the world. It is impossible for a city situated upon a mountain to be hidden" (Matt. 5:14). It is open. On the other hand He said, "When you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your alms may be in secret;...when you pray, enter into your private room, and shut your door and pray to your Father who is in secret" (Matt. 6:3-4, 6). On the one hand, if you are a Christian, you must come right out into the open and make a public profession; on the other hand, there are Christian virtues which you should preserve from the public gaze. The Christian who parades all his virtues before men and who does not have anything in the depth of his being has no root; he will not be able to stand in the day of trial and temptation
We have been the Lord's children many years; may the Lord open our eyes and show us the extent to which our experiences have been hidden from public view. How much would be left if what is known by man was taken away? May God work in us so that we can take root downward.
As we extend ourselves deeper and take root downward, we will discover that "deep calls unto deep." When we can bring forth riches from the depths of our inner life, we will find that other lives will be deeply affected. The minute our inner being is touched, others will receive help and be enlightened. They will know that there is something beyond their knowledge. When deep touches deep, deep will respond to deep. If our life has no depth, our superficial work will only affect other lives superficially. We repeat yet again--only "deep calls unto deep."
To experience a deeper dimension of God's presence, your soul must hunger and thirst for God in the same way a deer pants for the safety and sustenance of water. Only a small percentage of believers ever really experience this kind of intimacy with God because of the price.
Psalm 42:1-2 declares, "As the hart [male red deer] panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?"
In the natural, the panting of the deer is an audible agonizing for the safety the waters provide when pursued by a predator. When the deer runs into the water, the predator can no longer detect its scent. In addition to finding safety from its enemies, the deer finds relief from thirst in the waters.
“Intimacy with God is found only in the realm of the spirit.”Spiritually, your process of discovering a deeper dimension of God's presence involves longing, thirsting, and seeking. David wrote, "O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary" (Psalm 63:1-2).
Intimacy with God is found only in the realm of the spirit. There is a place of deep anointing, deep presence, and deep intimacy with God Almighty where "deep calleth unto deep" or spirit calls unto spirit.
It is a place that is so pure that every part of your being is consumed by the presence of Almighty God; a deep place where there is perfect communion between your spirit and every dimension of God's presence.
Your soul is stirred and there is a breakthrough in the spirit as "deep calleth unto deep" (Psalm 42:7).
It is at times like these that words become inadequate, because spoken words are the expression of the mind and not the soul. Words cease, and you stop asking. Only your heart can speak as it erupts in worship.
There is perfect harmony, perfect oneness. As you bask in the glory of His awesome presence, your spirit begins to fellowship with Him, crying out, "Oh, that I might know Him! Not the things He gives, or what He imparts, but Him!"
We encounter varying kinds of trials and tribulations on a daily basis. From overwhelming health issues like a diagnosis with a terminal cancer to financial difficulties, job loss, loss of a loved one, to the ordinary stresses of life.
In John 16:33, Jesus Christ said “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Jesus is right that we will have trouble in this world. Trouble is everywhere. There is hardly a person who is not affected by trials and troubles. But why should his followers who live on earth take heart or have courage because he has overcome? One can say its fine for you Jesus that you have overcome the world, I haven’t and I am suffering for it. The reason Jesus said that is seen in the scriptures. That is we are one with Christ.
When we received God’s grace, that grace made us to become sons (children) of God. As a result of that, we are one with Christ Jesus. Understanding our oneness with Jesus is very important in understanding God’s grace to us. God’s grace that made us one with Jesus also empowers us to overcome challenges as Jesus. That’s why Paul was able to say “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Phil 4:13) Why? Because Jesus lives in him and he lives in Jesus. He and Jesus are spiritually one. Jesus not only strengthens him but also endures with him. In the same way, when Paul talks about his labor in the work of God, he ascribes that to God’s grace working in him (1 Cor. 15:10). That grace is Jesus Christ living in him and working in him by his Holy Spirit.
The scriptures demonstrate our oneness with Jesus in many other ways. We are called the body of Christ and the bride of Christ. A person is one with his own body and with his wife.
In John 14:20, Jesus said, in that day you will know that I am in My Father and you in Me, and I in you.
The Bible takes the demonstration of this oneness even further. When we are insulted Christ is insulted. When we are beaten Christ is beaten. Here are some verses that show that:
Acts 26:14 records that “We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice saying to me in Aramaic, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.” In this passage of the Bible, Paul who at this stage in his life is a Pharisee is going about persecuting and killing Christians. He is on his way to Damascus to arrest and kill or punish Christians. In response to this, Jesus charges Paul with persecuting him, not with persecuting Christians. So Jesus clearly identifies the Christians being persecuted as him! We and he are one, he feels our pain!
Well, now you know that God loves us more than you love yourself, that God knows us more than we know ourselves, that you and Jesus are one and we are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus.
We are in Jesus, Jesus is in the father. Jesus died as us and for us. He is seated on God’s right hand as us and for us and again that we are in him, you can face trials with confidence that God is going through the trial and feeling the pain. Not only so but that Jesus has won, and so have you!
Confusion comes of the devil, because there is no truth in him. He is a liar and a thief, and Lucifer will always try and confuse, confound, and mislead us. We can overcome confusion through the Word, and through the Blood of our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Here are some scriptures that clearly define and contrast the works of the Father vs. the fallen angel Lucifer (not God’s opposite, but a fallen angel who was created).
Of the devil (Jesus here speaking to the Pharisees who interestingly enough were trying to cause confusion)…John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him (i.e. – only lies and confusion). When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
However, we know that Jesus came to destroy ALL the works of the devil, even confusion and the obstruction of truth…
1 John 3:8 …For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
God is a God of order. He created the universe and the very laws of science that hold everything in place. He gave us His Word and He gives peace.
1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. (here, the term peace can also be translated to mean a quiet and restful mind, not troubled by confusion or doubt).
We must not allow ourselves to concentrate on the confusion or the lies, but look instead to the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus spent little time being distracted by the works of the devil…in fact He would not allow the demonic to even speak but commanded them to “hold their peace” or to not speak forth things that would add confusion.
Luke 4:35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.
Therefore, when confusion comes in, we must take authority over the confusion by pleading the Blood of Jesus Christ and by standing on what God PROMISES us as believers and children. We must be proactive in our warfare against confusion as Paul states…
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations (literally - confused thoughts), and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
We should not fear this warfare but have knowledge that through Christ there is love, power and clarity of thought.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Praying in the Spirit helps to bring us out of these times of confusion because when we know not what to pray the Spirit will intercede…
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Pray without ceasing in the Spirit especially during those times when confusion abounds because we are promised…
Isaiah 59:19 … When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
Finally…be proactive in giving your mind a preventative remedy against the confusion returning…
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Don't waste your life for that which is going to be taken away. Trust life. If you trust, only then can you drop your knowledge, only then can you put your mind aside. And with trust, something immense opens up. Then this life is no longer ordinary life, it becomes full of God (Love), overflowing. When the heart is innocent and the walls have disappeared, you are bridged with infinity. And you are not deceived; there is nothing that can be taken away from you. That which can be taken away from you is not worth keeping, and that which cannot be taken away from you... why should one be afraid of its being taken away? BEIJING – A knife-wielding man with a grudge killed nine middle school children and injured at least 10 others as they returned home in northern China on Friday (April 27), authorities said, in one of the deadliest such rampages in the country in recent years.
The 28-year-old suspect was detained and the injured children were receiving hospital treatment, the Mizhi County public security bureau in Shaanxi province said on its official social media account. Seven girls and two boys were killed, the official Xinhua news agency said, citing local police.
The ages of the children were not given, but middle schoolers are usually between 12 and 15 years old in China.
The incident took place at around 6:10 pm local time, the department said. A man surnamed Zhao from Zhaojiashan village in Mizhi County was arrested, the public security bureau said. The suspect confessed that he had been “bullied” when he attended the same Number Three Middle School when he was a child, “hated” his classmates and decided to use a “dagger” to kill people on Friday, the bureau said.
A video posted by The Paper, a daily, on video-sharing website Miaopai.com shows two or three bodies lying on the ground in a narrow lane. A person is heard shouting “hurry, call the police!” Police are seen running and later frogmarching a man down the street. AFP could not immediately verify the authenticity of the video.
Knife attacks are not uncommon in the country. In February, a knife-wielding man with a personal grudge killed a woman and injured 12 others in a busy Beijing shopping mall – a rare act of violence in the heavily policed capital. In the southern city of Shenzhen, a man armed with a kitchen knife killed two people and wounded nine others in a supermarket last July.
Attacks have also targeted schoolchildren in the past, forcing authorities to increase security around schools. In January 2017, a man armed with a kitchen knife stabbed and wounded 11 children at a kindergarten in China’s southern Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
The previous February a knife-wielding assailant wounded 10 children in Haikou, in the southern island province of Hainan, before committing suicide. The man had entered the school in the afternoon, claiming that he was there to pick up his son.
The attacks have led to calls for more research into the root causes of such acts. Violent crime has been on the rise in China in recent decades as the nation’s economy has boomed and the gap between rich and poor has widened rapidly. Studies have also described a rise in the prevalence of mental disorders, some of them linked to stress as the pace of life becomes faster and support systems wither.
In June last year, a bomb blast that killed eight people and injured dozens outside a kindergarten in Fengxian, eastern China, was blamed on a 22-year-old introvert with health problems who had written the words “death” and “destroy” on the walls of his apartment. Material to make a homemade explosive device was found in the home.
Lu Haiyan said the slaughter began while she and a friend were standing in the ticket hall of a Chinese train station.
"Suddenly, many people started running around crazily," she said on Tencent Weibo, a Chinese equivalent of Twitter. "We saw two people carrying big cleavers hacking whoever is in the way. They almost got to my back. Then I lost contact with (my friend) and I saw blood splashing in front of me."
29 people were killed and 130 were injured Saturday night when 10 men armed with long knives stormed the station in the southwest Chinese city of Kunming, the state news agency Xinhua reported.
Members of a separatist group from Xinjiang, in northwest China, are believed to have carried out the assault, authorities said. The report referred to them as "terrorists."
Police said they killed at least four attackers and shot and wounded a female suspect. Authorities were searching for other suspects.
The killing spree came out of nowhere.
Yang Haifei, a resident of Yunnan, told Xinhua he was buying a ticket when a group of people, most of them in black, rushed into the station with knives.
"I saw a person come straight at me with a long knife and I ran away with everyone," he said, adding that people who were slower were severely injured. "They just fell on the ground."
He said he sustained injuries to his chest and back.
Lu Haiyan said she ran to the main road.
"I ran to a restaurant already with a full crowd," she said. "The restaurant owner shut the door for quite some time before reopening it. Both my hands and legs are shaking."
Xinhua quoted a 50-year-old woman whose older husband was among those killed.
"Why are the terrorists so cruel?" said Chen Guizhen, holding her husband's bloodied ID card.
In the aftermath, postings on Sina Weibo, another Twitter-like social medium, showed local police patrolling the station, with bodies in blood lying on the ground. Chinese state TV showed investigators putting a knife with a blade at least 2 feet long into an evidence bag.
Mass knife attacks are not unprecedented in China. Some occurred in 2010 and 2012, but the attacks happened at schools and didn't appear to have political connections.
Chinese President Xi Jinping urged law enforcement "to investigate and solve the case and punish the terrorists in accordance with the law," according to Xinhua.
Xinhua said the Kunming railway station is one of the largest in southwest China.
Chinese Premier Li Keqiang asked local authorities to ensure safety at public places, Xinhua reported.
Two weeks ago, 11 "terrorists" died in the Xinjiang region, Xinhua reported.
Frequent outbreaks of violence have beset Xinjiang, a resource-rich area where the arrival of waves of Han Chinese people over the decades has fueled tensions with the Uyghurs, a Turkic-speaking, predominantly Muslim ethnic group.
Kushinagar accident: Unstitched bodies of 13 children returned to parents after post-mortem
The Times of India Published on Apr 28, 2018: At least 13 innocent students were killed when a speeding train crashed into their school van at an unmanned rail crossing in Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar. For the parents of the deceased, the trauma is far from being over. Shockingly, the Kushinagar District Hospital authorities have done something which has left the grieving families completely stunned and shocked. They have returned the bodies of the children ‘unstitched’. This comes after the hospital was visited by Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath himself.
"At least 11 children were killed on Thursday morning (April 26) after a train hit a school bus in northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, police said." 😦😟https://t.co/On54BrxJDR via @STcom
MUMBAI - Thirteen children were killed on Thursday (April 26) when a school van collided with a train at an unmanned railway crossing in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, a police official said.
Eight children were injured and taken hospital, said the official, adding there were 22 children in the vehicle.
The accident took place early in the morning when the children were on their way to school.
The van collided with the Siwan-Gorakhpur Passenger Train, but the cause of accident is not yet known, the police official said.
This is the second major accident involving school children in a little over two weeks.
At least 24 children and three adults were killed when a school bus plunged off a mountain road in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh on April 9.
Wow 😦 "A court in the northern region of Navarra instead convicted the men, who had recorded video of the attack on their mobile phones and laughed about the incident afterwards on a Whatsapp group, with the lesser crime of sexual abuse." #Spainhttps://t.co/dmSc6RpcQI
Thousands of protesters took to the streets across Spain after a court cleared five men of the gang rape of a teenager at the 2016 San Fermin bull-running festival in Pamplona.
A court in the northern region of Navarra instead convicted the men, who had recorded video of the attack on their mobile phones and laughed about the incident afterwards on a Whatsapp group, with the lesser crime of sexual abuse.
The five men, including a former policeman and a former soldier, and the victim, who was 18 at the time of the incident, were not present in court.
The accused were named in the local media as soldiers Jose Angel Prenda, 29 and Alfonso Jesus Cabezuelo, 30.
They were convicted along with 29-year-old policeman Antonio Manuel Guerrero, who took the videos, and Jesus Escudero, 27, and 26-year-old Angel Boza.
The men, dubbed by Spanish media 'The Wolf Pack' after the name of their Whatsapp group, have been held in custody since July 2016 and were sentenced to between five and nine years.
The incident took place in the lobby of a building in the early hours of the morning at the San Fermin festival, which brings more than one million people to Pamplona for the nine-day-long festival in July.
One of the men stole the woman's mobile phone following the attack, leaving her with no means of contacting the friend with whom she had come to the festival.
She was found crying on a bench by a couple who rang the police when she said she had been sexually assaulted and later made a statement to officers describing the five men who were later arrested.
Fragments of video from the men's mobile phones taken at the scene were used as evidence in the trial, alongside witness accounts and biological tests.
The defence team argued the incident was a case of consensual group sex.
Thousands gathered in cities across Spain from Seville to Barcelona and outside the Justice Ministry in Madrid bearing notices reading 'I believe you sister' and chanting 'It's not abuse, it's rape'.
In Madrid, men and women packed central streets chanting 'Shame! Shame!' and 'No means No'. In Barcelona, thousands packed into the central square banging pots and pans and jangling their keys in the air.
The so-called 'Wolf Pack' case had already sparked widespread anger around Spain following concern over increased reports of sex attacks at the annual festival and over the mistreatment of women in general.
It has also drawn international attention, coming at a time of heightened global concern over the sexual abuse of women in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
After a five-month trial held behind closed doors to protect the victim's identity, a judge read out the sentences in the court in the northern region of Navarra.
The state prosecutor had asked for prison sentences of more than 20 years for each of the men. Instead they were given nine-year sentences.
Under Spanish law, the lesser charge of sexual abuse differs from rape in that it does not involve violence or intimidation.
The charge is used in cases of sexual activity between underage partners or those seen not capable of giving permission for sexual contact, such as those who are severely handicapped or under the influence of drugs or drink.
The judge, who did not give the reasoning behind the sentence, also ordered the men to pay the victim €50,000 in compensation. The ruling can be appealed in Spain's Supreme Court.
The Running of the Bulls involves hundreds of people dressed in white shirts and red neckerchiefs running down narrow streets in front of fighting bulls before ending in the city's bull-ring, where bullfights take place in the afternoon.
The festival is just as famous for the drinking and revelry on the sidelines, with huge street parties, processions and firework displays and draws thousands of tourists from all over the world.
SPAIN: Spanish prosecutors to appeal against Pamplona gang rape verdict. Good.https://t.co/dwjVfxPeyQ
Spanish prosecutors are to appeal against the verdict in the case of five men who were of a woman during the running of the bulls festival in Pamplona and convicted of the lesser offence of sexual abuse.
News of the appeal came shortly before the Spanish government announced that it would re-examine the country’s sexual offences legislation to establish whether such crimes were adequately defined and categorised.
The verdict, which was announced on Thursday at the end of five months of deliberation by judges in the northern region of Navarre, prompted a furious public reaction and protests across Spain.
The trial had been seen as a cross-examination of the 18-year-old woman, rather than the men who attacked her. One of the three judges had argued that the defendants should have been acquitted of all charges except the theft of the victim’s phone.
On Friday morning, the Navarre regional government said its lawyers were working to appeal against the verdict, in which each defendant was jailed for nine years and ordered to pay the victim €10,000 (£8,800).
A spokeswoman said the regional government was looking into “possible contradictions” in the sentence, particularly the fact that while the judges had accepted key parts of the victim’s testimony, they had failed to find the evidence of violence and intimidation needed to secure a rape conviction.
The lawyers are expected to lodge their appeal with Navarre’s supreme court within the next 10 working days.
Ana Ollo, the region’s minister for citizen and institutional relations, said: “The government stands with the majority of its citizens, who yesterday expressed their unhappiness with, and rejection of, the sentence in dozens of places across Navarre.”
Olli said society “cannot understand how there is no violence or intimidation in a case like this”, adding that the continued focus on “women’s reactions instead of the behaviour of violent men” was at the heart of the problem.
“We just cannot understand how the collective assault of women can be seen by some sexist men as a leisure activity that goes unpunished and has become normalised,” she said.
Carlos Bacaicoa, a lawyer for the victim, said he was waiting to find out whether his client also wished to appeal against the verdict.
“We need to talk to her to see if she wants to appeal,” he told Efe news agency. “We feel that it needs to be appealed.”
The five men, who nicknamed themselves “the wolfpack” and included a soldier and a Guardia Civil police officer, were found guilty of the “continuous sexual abuse” of the woman in the lobby of a building in Pamplona in the early hours of 7 July 2016.
But they were not found guilty of rape. Under Spanish law, the lesser offence of sexual abuse differs from rape in that it does not involve violence or intimidation.
However, the judges recognised that the victim had been “stunned and unable to react” to what five older and stronger men were doing.
They also noted that she had adopted “an attitude of submission and subjugation” during the attack and “she did not freely give her consent; rather, it was coerced or forced given the situation”.
Speaking on Thursday, Spain’s deputy prime minister, Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría, said that while the sentences ought to be respected, authorities needed to analyse what had happened “to avoid such behaviour happening again in this country”.
The following day, the government announced the review of existing legislation. Its spokesman, Íñigo Méndez de Vigo, described the Pamplona attack as “despicable”. He said that while the government respected the independence of the courts, it “has always been, is, and will always be on the side of the victims”.
Mexican authorities arrested a Colombian hitman working for a Mexican cartel, a police chief and 16 other people including policemen and assassins. All of the arrests are related to the recent execution of two federal policemen. Before the execution, the assassins disseminated a video showing federal police officers being forced to read a message accusing their bosses of stealing the drugs.
Last month, hit men from the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG) kidnapped two federal police officers in Nayarit and forced them to record a video threatening the federal government for allegedly carrying out illegal actions against the cartels, Breitbart Texas reported. Days after the video came out, federal authorities confirmed finding the bodies of officers Alfonso Hernandez Villavicencio and Octavio Martinez Quiroz. The bodies of the kidnapped officers were found in the trunk of a vehicle and showed signs of torture.
As part of a large-scale investigation into the murder of the two cops, Mexico’s Attorney General’s Office announced the arrest of 18 cartel employees including various lawmen. The Colombian capo Mauricio “El Manotas” Varela Reyes, who is the regional head of the CJNG in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, is accused of having planned the kidnapping of the federal officers. To carry out the kidnapping, Mexican authorities claimed that Varela Reyes had the support of local police who were reported to be at the service of the cartel. They are believed to have stopped the two men and turned them over to the cartel.
The 18 men tied to the investigation include the chief of police of Puerto Vallarta, Ubaldo “El Cocho” Cruz Cárdenas and the CJNG communications head, Luis Manuel “El Ingeniero” Cruz Gomez. He is considered to be responsible for disseminating the recorded narco-message of the recorded federales.

MEXICO: Prison Time for Mexican Border State Cops Convicted for Rapes, Robberies 😦 https://t.co/VfGRnh7Ort
SALTILLO, Coahuila — A Mexican court sentenced two police officers from the city of Saltillo to prison for their role in a string of armed robberies and rapes. The attacks occurred as the cops claimed to be carrying out police raids. The victims in all of the cases were underage teen females ranging from 12-17 years of age; they were raped at gunpoint.
A state judge in Coahuila handed down an 18-year prison sentence this week against Saltillo Police Officer Carmelo Diego Mancillas Rolon for his role in a series of violent armed robberies and brutal rapes that took place in 2016. The police officers were members of an elite task force called Centaurs. Instead of taking on organized crime, they carried out a series of armed robberies and rapes that terrorized the city. Saltillo is the state capital of the border state of Coahuila. The region has a long history of being used by drug cartels, primarily Los Zetas, to move drugs into Texas. The region is also well known for corruption where public officials and police officers protect drug cartels in exchange for hefty bribes.
Mancillas is the second police officer from the Centaurs unit to be sentenced in the case. Another judge sentenced Roberto Carlos Casillas Castillo to 13 years in prison earlier this year for his role in the case. Two more police officers Marino Jimenez Cruz and Roberto Santander remain behind bars awaiting further court proceedings in their case.
According to court documents filed in the case 353/2016, the team of police officers used unmarked SUVs to raid a home in Saltillo where they pretended to be state cops. The group pretended to carry out a drug raid but actually robbed the home taking electronics and other items. The officers then raped at gunpoint a 12-year-old girl who was at the house. In another case, the local cops pretended to be members of an elite state police unit and also pretended to carry out a drug raid but only to steal items from the home. In other robberies, the officers have been linked to the rape of a 15-year-old teen girl and the rape of a 17-year-old girl.

NAIROBI - A Burundian court jailed a human rights activist for 32 years late on Thursday, Amnesty International said, criticizing what it called a wrongful conviction based on fabricated charges.
Burundian government and judiciary officials were not immediately reachable for comment.
Amnesty said in a statement on Friday the charges against Germain Rukuki included “being part of an insurrection movement in 2015” during protests against President Pierre Nkurunziza.
“This conviction – built on an array of charges fabricated by the authorities - must be overturned, and Germain released immediately,” said Seif Magango, Amnesty International’s deputy director for East Africa, the Horn and the Great Lakes.
Burundi has been gripped by a political crisis since April of that year, when Nkurunziza announced he would stand for a third term, which the opposition said violated the constitution as well as a 2005 peace deal that ended a civil war.
The Burundian president is trying to pull the same crap as the Guinea president bypassing term limits to force a dictatorship upon nation. (emphasis mine)
He won a vote largely boycotted by the opposition, but protests sparked a government crackdown that has killed more than 700 people, displaced over 400,000 to neighboring countries and left the economy moribund.
Amnesty said Rukuki, head of the Njabutsa Tujane community organization and an employee of the Burundian Catholic Lawyers Association, was arrested in July 2017 over involvement in the protests.
He was charged a month later with threatening state security and “rebellion” for being an employee of Action by Christians for the Abolition of Torture (ACAT)-Burundi, Amnesty said.
“Germain Rukuki’s wrongful conviction and shockingly excessive jail sentence violate his rights and are an insult to justice,” Magango said. “He has committed no crime, but has rather been persecuted for daring to speak out against the human rights violations in Burundi.”
Burundi on Friday freed 740 prisoners, most of whom had been imprisoned after taking part in protests against President Pierre Nkurunziza in 2015, the government announced.
The detainees were released from Bujumbura’s Mpimba prison — the country’s largest — after a ceremony presided over by Justice Minister Aimee-Laurentine Kanyana, with several western ambassadors in attendance.
Their release came in the wake of a presidential pardon at the turn of last year.
Of the 740 released, 450 had been “sentenced for taking part in the insurrectional movement of 2015,” Kanyana said, using the official term for protests that ran from late April to mid-June 2015.
A western diplomat who saw the ceremony said, “We heard that there would be many prisoners of opinion who were freed.”
“It’s good news if that’s the case,” said the diplomat, who spoke on condition of anonymity. “We will check before speaking on an official basis.”
In 2015, the authorities released a number of opposition candidates, again in the context of a presidential pardon, but grassroots groups said the tally of those released was smaller than announced, and was followed by a wave of re-arrests.
The minister on Friday warned those released against committing “any re-offence,” saying this would lead to life imprisonment.
The governor of Mpimba prison said the release would help to ease conditions in the overcrowded facility.
Around 2,800 people, most of them convicted for common-law offences, have been released since the start of 2018 under the latest pardon.
The tiny central African state was plunged into political crisis in April 2015 when Nkurunziza announced his intention to run for a third term which he went on to win.
Post-election violence claimed at least 1,200 lives and displaced more than 400,000 people between April 2015 and May 2017, according to estimates by the International Criminal Court, which has opened an investigation.
The president has launched a campaign to hold a referendum on a new constitution, probably in May, that would set a limit of two seven-year presidential terms.
Doing so would enable Nkurunziza to stand again in 2020 and again in 2027.

I've been asked many times if I still track the stock market. My answer is a resounding yes. The stock market is in my blood. I'm still tracking the markets, still doing research and still following economic news. This is the one industry that is the heart of global productivity. It is essential in pumping the necessary oxygen (capital) to corporations that in turn hire employees who will in turn produce the products and services that we all use. Capitalism is a very very important element to humanity. It is what fuels dreams, self-reliance and individualism!
