Capitalism Explained Through Animation! Repost From 05/29/2009. I Came Across These Cartoons A Decade Ago That Blew My Mind. I Absolutely Love Them! Need To Share Them Again. :)

I am reposting my original messages from 05/29/2009. These were my reactions below after watching each of these videos. Now mind you, Barack Obama just became president of the United States and boy oh boy did the Make My Freedom cartoon seem very relevant for our times.

With Donald J. Trump as our President now, we can reap the rewards if we follow the lessons taught in Going Places, Meet Joe King, and the last one at the bottom titled Why Play Leap Frog.

I hope you enjoy these videos as much as I have. :)

I promise, you too will connect to its message! I have taken the following from the YouTube description:

Meet King Joe (1949)

Wow Can I get any more blown away by these cartoons?! I seriously love this animator, John Sutherland! This cartoon shows us how fortunate we as Americans truly are compared to the rest of the world! This cartoon was made in 1949. Of course, many factors have changed since then. However, our lifestyle and freedoms remain far greater than the rest of the world. We must do everything in our power to maintain what we typically take for granted. Amidst ALL the chaos, theatrics and nonsense, we STILL have so much to be grateful for. Let's not lose sight of that fact! I have taken the following from the YouTube description:
