Often people feel dissatisfied because they don’t feel as though others appreciate them. Other times they think that they are not good enough?

That is very easy to understand because we all want to be valued. Our happiness ought not to dependant on what other people think about us or say to us, but instead, our goal ought to be that of pleasing God and do things that we know are right and good for us, that He taught us in the Bible.
If your goal is to only to please yourself. Then you are setting yourself up for discouragement and rejection.

The solution is to encourage yourself by living your life to please and honor God as well as others at the same time when possible, but don’t forget about yourself. You need to take care of your body, mind, and soul. ~ Bill Greguska

You Are Very Valuable And Full Of Much Worth!

Ways You Can Encourage Yourself!
  1. Find satisfaction in who you are because of who God made you. Whether it is because of a small accomplishment or just the little things you do or say in your daily life. You need to not only believe in God, you have to believe in yourself.
  2. If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then make it your goal today to get to know Jesus. If you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, keep on that path and grow closer to Him every moment of your life.
  3. Consider yourself your own best friend. Think about the things you would say to a good friend when he or she is down and needs encouragement, say those things to yourself. Often friends can leave us for whatever reason, but you will always have yourself to be with the rest of your life. If you don’t like yourself your life will be an uphill battle. Sometimes we need to just be our own best friend.”
More ways you can encourage yourself…
  1. Focus on things that are humorous and keep on looking for the bright side of things even when times when you are discouraged or depressed. Laughter does so much to heal us that it is foolish not to keep that in mind. Try it and see what I mean.
  2. Do some things that you enjoy that give you pleasure or that give other people pleasure. When we encourage others it is so often then that we ourselves become encouraged. Reach out to others for help, and don’t forget to reach out to others to help them. Often people find that doing things for other people helps their own problems seem a little smaller, or at the very least gets their mind off of their own problems.
  3. Exercise is so very important! No matter what you do, whether is it just going for a walk, or going to the gym, the important this is to just keep your body moving and your heart beat up. Simple stretches are a great thing to warm up your body. Do as much as your doctor allows you to do and then do it at least 2-3 times a week and the minimum of 15-45 minutes each time. This will help your mood significantly.
Scriptures To Encourage You

Sometimes we need to just encourage ourselves.

When nothing else will work, encourage yourself in the Lord. Do it with the word of God. “Be assured, if you walk with Him and look to Him, and expect help from Him, He will never fail you.” – George Mueller

But David encouraged himself in the Lord. I Samuel 30:6

David needed to, and so will you. And if he can do it, you can do it. Let God pour His love and acceptance into you. He is faithful and you are accepted. Receive it and walk in it.
