ISIS Promises to Head for Italy, Obama Heads for the Golf Course

The ISIS horror video of the brutal murder of 21 Coptic Christian men titled, “A Message Signed With Blood to The Nation Of The Cross, begins with a militant speaking in English.

Of interest is their promise to conquer Italy. They already promised to take Spain back.

The savage who narrated the video said:

Oh people, recently you have seen us on the hills of Al-Sham and Dabiq’s plain, chopping off the heads that have been carrying the cross for a long time, and today, we are on the south of Rome, on the land of Islam, Libya, sending another message.

All crusaders: safety for you will be only wishes especially if you are fighting us all together. Therefore we will fight you all together. The sea you have hidden Sheikh Osama bin Laden’s body in, we swear to Allah we will mix it with your blood.

What makes this so threatening is that ISIS has taken over a town in Libya – Derna – and they have a presence in Sirte. Libya is across the Mediterranean from Italy.

The Interior Minister Angelino Alfano called for a peace-keeping force in Libya. He told La Repubblica: “There is not a minute to lose. We have to intervene in Libya with a UN mission. The international community must understand that it is crucial for the future of the West.”

Mr Alfano said the risk of Isis terrorists seeking to enter Italy disguised as refugees “could not be discounted”. Justifying his calls for UN intervention in Libya, Mr Alfano said the global community “had on its conscience” the danger that it had exposed Italy to by ousting Gaddafi.

Italy is talking about adding 5,000 forces to the fight to keep ISIS out of Libya.

Jordan and now Egypt have been bombing ISIS from the air in response to the murder of their countrymen.

As for President Obama, he traveled on Air Force One to Palm Springs Valentine’s Day to fundraise and golf over an extended vacation weekend.

In response to the beheading of the Coptic Christians, who were specifically targeted for being Christian, Barack Obama’s press secretary Josh Earnest refused to mention the word Christians.

“The United States condemns the despicable and cowardly murder of twenty-one Egyptian citizens in Libya by ISIL-affiliated terrorists,” the statement read, offering condolence to the victims families.

The United States condemns the despicable and cowardly murder of twenty-one Egyptian citizens in Libya by ISIL-affiliated terrorists. We offer our condolences to the families of the victims and our support to the Egyptian government and people as they grieve for their fellow citizens. ISIL’s barbarity knows no bounds. It is unconstrained by faith, sect, or ethnicity. This wanton killing of innocents is just the most recent of the many vicious acts perpetrated by ISIL-affiliated terrorists against the people of the region, including the murders of dozens of Egyptian soldiers in the Sinai, which only further galvanizes the international community to unite against ISIL.

This heinous act once again underscores the urgent need for a political resolution to the conflict in Libya, the continuation of which only benefits terrorist groups, including ISIL. We call on all Libyans to strongly reject this and all acts of terrorism and to unite in the face of this shared and growing threat. We continue to strongly support the efforts of the United Nations Special Representative of the Secretary-General Bernardino Leon to facilitate formation of a national unity government and help foster a political solution in Libya.

White House spokesperson Josh Earnest suggested Christianity wasn’t a factor: “ISIL’s barbarity knows no bounds,” he reminded the world. “It is unconstrained by faith, sect, or ethnicity.”

“Safety for you crusaders is something you can only wish for,” one of the savage militants said in the video, as he stood with a knife in his hand.

On that, ISIS and Obama agree, Christians are crusaders. We shouldn’t get on our “high horse”.

Sadly, only 57% of the American people object to Barack Obama’s handling of ISIS.
