Woot! Get ready folks... the 47th Super Bowl game is about to start in 2 hrs. The Baltimore Ravens (AFC no. 4 seed) vs the San Francisco 49ers (NFC no. 2 seed) at 3:30pm PST / 6:30pm EST on CBS. :D
I have to admit that I am not as gung-ho as I was for last year's Super Bowl when my NY Giants were in the game. My regular readers know that I am a Denver Broncos and NY Giants fan. However, my mom is a HUGE 49ers fan, so she's coming over to watch the game and is super excited. My mom keeps saying, "It's about time! It's been 18 year's since the 49ers made it to the Super Bowl and they've WON every time!" The last time the 49ers made it to the Super Bowl was in 1995. The 49ers were the first team to win five Super Bowls thanks to Montana winning the first four and Young winning the last one. So I'll be cheering for her team, but my heart's not in it.
It's all good though... my fridge is stocked with my Samuel Adams beer and I have chips galore with other munchies, oh yeah and PIZZA... so I am a HAPPY CAMPER. Go team lol ;)
