Fasih Mohammed, who is accused of being involved in a conspiracy to carry out bomb blasts in Bangalore and Delhi, has been extradited from Saudi Arabia, TV channels reported on Monday. He is now reportedly in the custody of Delhi Police's anti-terrorist Speciall Cell. Mohammed, 28, is accused of being a member of the banned terror group Indian Mujahideen, which is blamed for a series of bomb blasts in the country over the years. He is accused of involvement in the blasts at Bangalore's Chinnaswamy Stadium and the explosion at Delhi's Jama Masjid in 2010.

His family has filed a petition before the Supreme Court seeking information on his arrest after he was allegedly picked up from Al Jubal in May this year.

Mohammed's family has alleged that his detention was part of a joint operation of Indian and Saudi security agencies.
