Carrying just a long cane, a Chinese farmer led the flock through a main street in Taizhou, Zhejiang, weaving around vehicles and pedestrians. During the half-mile walk, the farmer says he didn’t lose a single duck.
A parade of ducks halted traffic when their owner decided to take all 5,000 of his feathered friends out for a walk.
Carrying just a long cane, the Chinese farmer led the flock through a main street in Taizhou, Zhejiang, weaving around vehicles and pedestrians.
He and another man ushered the ducks more than half a mile to a local feeding pond, as part of an annual tradition in the province.
The farmer says he didn’t lose a single duck during the walk, according to Australia’s news.com.
The city of Taizhou is on the eastern coast of the Zhejiang province, about 200 miles south of Shanghai, and has a population of nearly 6 million.
