Oh and for those of you who have never been told, the United States of America has federal, state and local government employment laws that protect the employer and protect the workers. And most companies have a human resources/personnel department where you can report your grievances.
I had to share this one dumbass sign that stood out for me from the Occupy Oakland movement, as you can see it reads "Replace the dictatorship of capital with workers power" from the Socialist Workers Party. Why do you think I call it dumb? Because these idiots don't know that capital means MONEY. So how do these dumbasses expect to be paid? and who do they expect to pay them?
If they hate employers so much and want an increase in pay, why have they never stop to consider perhaps starting their own business and become their own boss and set their own pay?!?!?! But no, these marxist socialist and communist don't teach their followers to be independent minded, nor do they empower them with a healthy self esteem, nor do they encourage them to come up with innovative ideas. They don't teach them to be creative and consider alternatives ways to generate income.
Why do you think this is? Because if any of their followers found the courage to start a business of their own, they would then know that it takes HARD WORK and COMMITMENT to get a business off the ground. They will find out what kind of personal sacrifices a business owner has to make, they will feel the tears and unrelenting determination it takes to grow and expand a business. Eventually the business owner will want to hire employees/workers. At this point, they will understand and will not take kindly to the unreasonable DEMANDS from their workers after they worked their asses off and devoted most of their time to build a business that created a job for them in the first place.
I would also like to point out that a business isn't limited to a brick and mortar storefront providing products and services. A business also includes ALL of you in the arts and entertainment industry. You know first hand that your successful careers were not handed to you on a silver platter. You know first hand that all of you had to persevere, work your asses off and make alot of personal sacrifices to go from an unknown artist with big dreams to become the celebrities you are today. Most of you know that you had to endure and overcome a lot of rejection before you received your big break. Now as a result of your hard work over the years, you have branded your name, your image and your artistic talent and can proudly say that you are "self made" multi millionaires. That's a beautiful thing and nothing to be ashamed of. You represent the American Dream that if you can believe it, you can achieve it and if it's going to be, it's up to me! All of you represent everything the Occupy movement abhors; hard work, determination and belief in oneself to be able to move on up.
