I am so elated to announce my all time favorite movie "Somewhere in Time" will be airing on HBO at 12:40am!!! This movie has not been on cable for a very long time. I have it on DVD and can watch it anytime. But I'm happy for those who will get to watch it for the first time. :)
This is one of my favorite scenes from this movie, "Somewhere In Time". This movie was not a big hit when it was first released. In fact, it was a flop. But years later, those who were deeply touched by this movie turned it into a cult movie and now have a huge following. Avid fans meet annually at The Grand Hotel in Mackinac Island, Michigan where this movie was filmed. The soundtrack is AMAZING too! I still want to cry when I hear Rhapsody by Rachmaninov. In this scene one of the main characters named Elise Mckenna has re-written the entire first scene from the play she is acting in. She breaks from the original script and gives a heartfelt message.

I'll be watching this movie tonight for the gazillionth time crying my eye's out. It's been a while. But after listening to this beautiful music, I've been inspired to watch it again. :) ♥ I love the scene when they meet for the first time and she says to him "Is it you?". ♥ An absolute MUST WATCH if you haven't seen this masterpiece. ♥ SUBLIME!
