Dozens Killed In Iraq's Bloodiest Day this year!!! Death Toll Being Reported Is From 67 To 89. This Is AWFUL! And Bombs Are Still Going Off!

Attacks in more than a dozen cities across Iraq killed at least 67 people on Monday, including at least 40 in twin blasts blamed on Al-Qaeda in the southern city of Kut, in the country's bloodiest day in more than a year. (AFP)

I'd like to share an article from an Iraqi news source. I'm glad the president "strongly" condemned these horrific attacks on innocent civilians across his country. But to say security loopholes are responsible is not exactly the kind of response the general public wants to hear when they are counting on the leader to protect them from person(s) or groups that want to intentionally caused them harm. These leaders don't know how to take control of situations. They are hens, NOT ROOSTERS! But wait a minute hens lay eggs and these so-called leaders don't produce anything. So they are in essense WORTHLESS! Merely collecting public money and foreign money just for having a political title. QUIT BLAMING EVERYONE AND TAKE CHARGE! Get your act together. PEOPLE ARE DYING, HOMES, CARS and BUSINESS' BLOWN UP!!! A leaders job is to PROTECT and SERVE the people and nature that have been placed in their care.

Iraq’s President Jalal Talabani has condemned on Monday the explosions that struck a number of Iraqi provinces during the day, charging their reasons for security loopholes and negligence to implement the political agreements among different blocs, according to a statement by his office on Monday.

“We strongly condemn those horrible crimes,” the statement, copy of which landed in Aswat al-Iraq news agency, quoted President Talabani as saying, adding that “they were committed due to the existence of security loopholes, most reasons of which had been the negligence to implement the understandings, reached by the Political Leaderships in Arbil.”

The statement quoted President Talabani as “calling on the political forces to set aside their differences and problems, and to begin immediately to find joint agreements and work together to strike the terrorists and cut the way on elements, who instigate sedition.”

Noteworthy is that today, Monday, had witnessed a series of explosions, the first of their kind in more than 2 months, that shook a number of Iraqi provinces, including Wassit, Karbala, Salahal-Din, Najaf and Kirkuk, killing more than 50 people and wounding about 200 others, according to security sources.
