Lies Lies Lies

As I mentioned in my previous post, I spent the weekend redecorating my mom's bedroom. When I finished Sunday night, I plopped on the couch to rest and unwind. My mom began changing the channels and stopped on breaking news. There was President Obama giving yet another performance, I mean... announcement. Oh the infamous ever elusive Osama bin laden was "killed" on his orders. Bravo I thought, what a way to get the general public distracted from your poor performance, bad economy, high real unemployment, weak foreign policy, the fraudulent birth certificate you released last week and manipulate their emotions using an impactful event from our past, plus get them to praise you all in one swoop. He pulled an ace out from up his sleeve. President Obama claims to have known about Osama bin Laden's location since August of last year. Think about it.

While I was listening to his entire speech, this song kept playing in my spirit. Oh and that smirk on his face was priceless. By the way, since when has he cared about America's greatness? Remember he spent his first year in office on a worldwide tour apologizing for America. He was so ashamed of our country. Not to mention, his profound disdain towards Capitalism. This whole event smacks of sheer desperation and theatre. To put it bluntly, this is more manufactured bullsh*t brought to you by the Obama machine and the "Power's That Be"! The complicit media is going to spend the entire week replaying heart wrenching images of 9/11 to reopen the wound.

The American public is hungry for good news, something, anything to celebrate. If it makes you feel good to believe that Osama bin laden is dead. Then celebrate. But let me remind you of the following:

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is still in U.S. custody in Guantánamo Bay since September 2006. "The 9/11 Commission Report alleges that he was "the principal architect of the 9/11 attacks." He is also alleged to have confessed to a role in many of the most significant terrorist plots over the last twenty years, including the World Trade Center 1993 bombings, the Operation Bojinka plot, an aborted 2002 attack on the U.S. Bank Tower in Los Angeles, the Bali nightclub bombings, the failed bombing of American Airlines Flight 63, the Millennium Plot, and the murder of Daniel Pearl." Are they going to shoot Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in the head as well and then give him a "respectful" proper muslim religious burial too? [On a side note, if they cared that much about not hurting the muslim community's feelings, why didn't they give a proper burial to all of the other muslim extremist we've killed on the battle field and with unmanned drones?] or will the Obama administration revert back to the dog and pony show telling us that these "terrorists" deserve the same US constitutional rights as Americans to have a federal "fair" trial in a civilian court to face a jury of their peers in Downtown Manhattan? Now suddenly you don't give a damn about terrorists rights and you were able to supposedly "kill" Osama bin laden without remorse? Shooting someone in the head is much worse than "torturous waterboarding" interrogation wouldn't you agree? But since you're on a roll Mr. President, why don't you show us that you really do have the cajones you so desperately want us to believe and just order this monster's execution as well and spare us the expense of housing him in Guantanamo Bay and the expense of a trial. That would be the right thing to do. That's if you're really serious about getting JUSTICE for Americans! I mean you don't seem to care about the rule of law anymore. I'm confused... what do you believe? I can't tell with your schizophrenic approach to everything important to America.

On October 12, 2008, Kohlmann ruled that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and his four co-charged, should be provided with laptops, so they can work on their defenses.
In November 2009, according to an Administration official, Mohammed was being transferred from Guantanamo Bay to New York to face a Federal Trial. Four other detainees will be facing trial in front of civilian federal court, as well.
On January 22, 2010, The Pentagon officially dropped military charges against Mohammed and the four other alleged conspirators, clearing the path for likely transfer from Guantanamo to the United States to face charges in a civilian federal court.
On January 7, 2011 US President Barack Obama signed National Defense Authorization Act which explicitly prohibits the use of US Defense Department funds to transfer detainees from Guantanamo Bay to the United States or other countries.
On April 4, 2011 Attorney General Eric Holder announced that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other 9/11 terror suspects will face a military trial at the Guantanamo Bay detention facility.
