WOW! This is such a great story! I am sooooo glad the school rescinded their order to this child not to display the American flag. We should never be made to feel shame for honoring our country symbol. After all, America is OUR HOME. The people who are disgusted by the American flag are FREE to leave the United States of America. All of you who hate our REPUBLIC have displayed much dis-respect toward our home that we call America and have spit on our U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. Well we are not going to take it anymore! There are MILLIONS of foreigners waiting in line to become an AMERICAN and would gladly want to take your place. These people would be grateful to become an AMERICAN and are desperately wanting to escape their SOCIALIST or COMMUNIST countries to get a taste of what you take for granted and are disgusted with.
Heck, when you drive into Ensenada, Baja California they have a humongous Mexican flag displaying their pride of country!!! and I'm NOT exaggerating... IT IS HUGE! They want to make sure that every American knows they are in Mexico now.

13-year-old Cody Alicea, aka "Flag Boy" just wanted to fly the flag on his bike. This morning, about a hundred people, including some coming in from the East Coast escorted Cody to school.
After arriving at Denair Middle School the group recited the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem.
The teen who was told to remove the American flag from his bike the week of Veterans Day is now back proudly carrying Old Glory, with the blessing of his apologetic school district.
