UNBELIEVABLE! Environmentalist NEVER think things through! They are so DESPERATE to get off of OIL (petroleum) they'll accept anything! The EPA is following their lead. Oil is NOT the problem! The reason why off-shore oil drilling exists is because environmentalist persuaded the federal government to prevent oil drilling on land. Our ocean is affected now because of that decision. Our federal government is also in charge of setting mpg standards for auto manufacturers. Did you know that auto manufacturers who sell to european nations have a HIGHER MPG standard than the United States??? Yep! It's all a game folks! The reason this is so, is because the gas cost twice as much over there. Auto manufacturers have the capability to make cars with really high mpg. This is proof. But the governments of the world SET THESE STANDARDS for them. Why do you think? Come on... think it through. THE OIL INDUSTRY! Imagine driving a car that gave you 100 miles per gallon. Now that would be sweeeeet! for us that is. But the governments of the world really don't give a damn about benefiting the "PEOPLE" only those who bribe them for personal gain.
My friend Ira responded to this article on Facebook and without knowing it described the Socialist Eutopian dream perfectly, "It is also completely unsustainable, leads to fertilizer pollution of the water, squanders our precious topsoil unnecessarily, and shifts our agricultural industry from what it does best, feeding our country and the WORLD! NONE of the given paths by environmentalists have been thought through in even the most rudimentary way or they would be revealed as the dangerous pathways to utter DOOM environmentalists would really prefer!
You see, to the clearly rabid, dyed-in-the-wool environmentalist, there is just no room for you and your family and loved ones on planet earth and the theoretical eco-earth they envision! Humanity is a utter PLAGUE to these folks and they will not rest until humanity is back in caves and eating fibrous and semi nutritive tubers you would need to gather for food! All Gatherer and NO Hunter...get IT?

The Obama administration says gas stations can start selling fuel with more ethanol - a mixture of up to 15 percent - but it is recommended only for cars and light trucks built since 2007.
Motorists with older vehicles will need to watch what they are pumping or risk damaging their engines with too much corn-based fuel, the Environmental Protection Agency says. The current blend is 10 percent ethanol.
The move means that gas stations, if they choose to sell the fuel, will have to use special pumps and signs to ensure consumers don't fill their vehicles with the wrong fuel. The EPA said it will propose new pump labeling requirements to help consumers figure out which gas to use.
The ethanol industry says the agency should have allowed the higher blend for more vehicles, arguing that testing shows it is safe. The EPA was more cautious, saying that it will wait until more tests are completed in November to approve use of the blend for vehicles made from 2001 to 2006.
Opponents say that the increase in production of corn and its diversion into ethanol is making animal feed more expensive, raising prices at the grocery store and tearing up the land.
