Bono's ONE Foundation Slammed For Giving Just 1% Of Funds To Charity!!! POVERTY PIMPS! >:/

I knew it. I removed the ONE campaign from my blog last year. I would cringe every time I saw Bono's ONE (PSA) commercial with ALL of the celebrities on the television. ONE commercial was about "Make Poverty History"! Now that this information has been REVEALED, the cruel joke is on those people they CLAIMED TO HAVE BEEN HELPING! This is just like that Haitian singer Jean Wyclef where most ALL contributions go towards administrative cost and expenses and very little goes to help those they claim to be helping. The money is usually filtered back to them in some way shape or form. They make a huge contribution to their own charity, brag about it, get the write off from the government and then pay themselves back through the back door as an expense!

Jean Wyclef kept saying that he contributed $1 million to his charity to help Haitians when tax records proved that he was paying himself back through the back door through his charity expenses!!! Those tears you saw when he spoke to the media about this were tears of guilt because he was CAUGHT RED HANDED.

These people are POVERTY PIMPS! Just like our government! Pulling on our heart strings using the poor sick and needy for contributions to pay themselves! That's why everybody needs to WISE UP and check the Charity Navigator and the Better Business Bureau for Charities and Donors to make sure a charity is LEGIT before you hand over your hard earned money to them.

Con-Artist is defined as: A person who defrauds or swindles others after first gaining their trust; a scam operator.

Bono and his celebrity cohorts actually THOUGHT they could get away with this because they were famous and nobody would dare check them out. Shame on you Bono for using the poor, sick and needy for your PERSONAL financial GAIN!!! That is the HEIGHT of ARROGANCE and GREED!!!

Bono's charity was created to RAISE AWARENESS excuse is such bullsh*t. If this were true and they really cared and wanted to help, he and the other celebrities would have DONATED THEIR TIME TO RAISE AWARENESS and paid for those PSA's out of their own pockets!!! NOT MILK the hard working public who is already struggling for money under the pretense that their helping the poor, sick and needy just so that they can line their own FILTHY GREEDY pockets!

And Bono's ONE campaign has the NERVE to be asking the global public to sign a petition to STEAL U.S. TAXPAYERS MONEY! The petition reads, "Dear President Barack Obama, Please commit $6 BILLION to the Global Fund over the next 3 years." To watch the "No child born with HIV by 2015" PSA click HERE. Birds of a feather! Corruption begets corruption! All of you thieves STOP LOOTING THE U.S. TREASURY! That's why our country is broke!

ONE Foundation should have their NON-PROFIT STATUS REVOKED!

Bono's anti-poverty organisation has come under fire after the New York Post revealed that only 1.2% of donations in 2008 were given to charities.

The One Foundation received almost £9.6 million (around US $15 million) but just £118,000 (about $185,000) actually went to those living in poverty.

Incredibly, over half the money raised was spent on paying wages, meaning ONE gave its employees and executives over 40 times more money than it gave to good causes.

A spokesman for the foundation has said the money is used for raising awareness rather than being given directly to those in need.

Just a few weeks ago it was revealed that Bono's fashion label Edun has moved its factories from Africa to China. The U2 frontman was heavily criticised for the change, as Edun was originally set up to alleviate poverty in Africa.

ONE gives only a pittance in direct charitable support to its causes -- something Borochoff said the average donor might not realize.

The Bono nonprofit took in $14,993,873 in public donations in 2008, the latest year for which tax records are available.

Of that, $184,732 was distributed to three charities, according to the IRS filing.

Meanwhile, more than $8 million was spent on executive and employee salaries.
