Gay T.E.A. Partiers Speak Out: “It Was Harder to Come Out as Conservative Than As Gay”

***APPLAUSE***
BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!!

My gosh what a wonderful day I've had listening to all of these inspirational FREEDOM LOVING INDEPENDENT MINDED Americans!!! WoooooHoooooo!!! Right on, I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! Thank you for speaking OUT! I absolutely feel the exact same way as them with regard to marriage and contract law. The civil union contract is a legal agreement made between two consenting adults. Every couple independently chooses the kind of ceremony they wish to have when they exchange their vows and celebrate their union, their bond together in front of those closest to them. Straight or gay, the couple may choose to have a religious ceremony at a church or a private ceremony in a back yard, or on the beach or at a resort. There are even some couples who don't care to have a ceremony at all. The point I am trying to make is the civil union CONTRACT is a legal agreement made between two persons that is RECOGNIZED by the STATE! The ceremony is a personal choice based on beliefs.

If you are gay and feel like you've been treated like the guys in this video I recommend that you get connected with GOProud. GOProud represents gay conservatives and their allies. GOProud is committed to a traditional conservative agenda that emphasizes limited government, individual liberty, free markets and a confident foreign policy. GOProud promotes our traditional conservative agenda by influencing politics and policy at the federal level.

With the overturning of Prop 8 in California, we thought it would be appropriate to share this clip of a discussion we had last weekend with a couple of gay conservatives who were in attendance at the Uni-Tea Party in Philadelphia.

Note their constitution-centric take on marriage (gay or otherwise) as well as their experiences facing hateful bigotry from their peers on the ever Progressive Left.

These guys make a lot of sense.

Founding Bloggers recently spoke to openly gay tea partiers at a Philadelphia tea party recently.

These guys said they were more welcomed at the tea party than at gay bars.

Let me be the first to commend these brave men for confronting the bigotry and radical leftism in the gay community.

Well done.
