What this man is saying in his speech is completely and utterly false! There has NEVER been a sign carried by any member of the T.E.A. party that read "Lynch Barack Hussein Obama" or "Lynch Eric Holder" NEVER! You can FOOL some of the people some of the time, but you CAN'T FOOL them ALL OF THE TIME.
Now the NAACP has stepped in and publicly declared in a forum that we the T.E.A. party are a racist group intent on overturning the first black president. Almost all people that voted for Barack Obama CLAIM it was NOT because of the color of his skin. Now this proves that they are outright being dishonest with themselves. The color of his skin appears to be the ROOT of their loyal support. Because why is their #1 concern about Barack Obama being the 1st black president. That should not be an issue. It should have NEVER been an issue. His POLICIES should be the issue and that is what the T.E.A. party movement is against! We are Americans standing together. We have every right to disagree with this president's ideology and laws/legislation he has passed and intends to pass that will affect ALL OF US! We are independents, democrats and republicans from ALL RACES, CREEDS, AGES and income levels.
I am NOT WHITE! The Obama administration with the help of the NAACP are desperate to discredit the T.E.A. party. You need to ask yourselves why? We are NOT racist. We are Americans that stand together AGAINST the Obama administrations POLICIES/LEGISTLATION PERIOD! NAACP you have or will lose any credibility you have left. The word "racism" has all but lost its meaning from being overused, misused and abused by your organization and by other folks within the black and hispanic community. I really wish you could get beyond the color of your skin, stop teaching and condoning segregation and free your mind from the prisms you have created for yourselves. Yes, that is my wish. We are ALL "AMERICANS"!

CBS Political Hotsheet

The NAACP has passed a resolution condemning racism in the Tea Party movement.
The resolution was approved in a vote by more than 2,000 delegates at the annual convention of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in Kansas City.
Versions of the resolution condemned "explicitly racist behavior" in the Tea Party movement and called on people to "repudiate" what it described as racist elements of the Tea Party. The final text of the resolution has not yet been made available, however, and that language may have changed.
As the Associated Press notes, NAACP President Ben Jealous has said the Tea Party movement needs to "be responsible members of this democracy and make sure they don't tolerate bigots or bigotry among their members."
Members of the Tea Party movement vehemently deny that their movement is racist.
A CBS News poll in April found 52 percent of Tea Party members believe too much has been made of the problems facing black people. Far fewer Americans overall -- 28 percent -- believe as much. Among non-Tea Party whites, the percentage who say too much attention has been paid to the problems of black people is 23 percent.
The original NAACP resolution, submitted by the group's Kansas City branch, said the Tea Party movement has "displayed signs and posters intended to degrade people of color generally and President Barack Obama specifically."
It condemned "racist elements" of the movement as "a threat to progress" and referenced instances in which black congressmen said they were verbally and physically abused by Tea Party activists.

The Tea Bag Party are just “haters not debaters” or as others have dubbed them “screamers not dreamers”, with their failed attempts at stopping Healthcare reform, they say they respect the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence but they do not mind passing laws, through weak Governors (no one voted for this crazy) who only cares about getting elected Governor, on the backs of undocumented workers, that will not pass Constitution muster.
Brewer signed into law;
1. S.B. 1070,
2. No permit conceal weapons law,
3. The famous Birthers law,
4. Banning Ethnic studies law,
5. Banning human-animal hybrid (aren’t most GOPers crossed with the Reptilian race?)
or are they just giving Laurence Gonzales, some great promotion material for his new book “Lucy”.
6. Could she be behind the Mural in Prescott, Arizona, ordered to be whiten,
7. On deck to pass, no citizenship to babies born to undocumented workers,
8. If she can read she should look up Arizona’s House Bill 2779 from two years ago (which was un-constitution and failed when legally challenged),
9. The boycotted Martin Luther King Day, what idiots don’t want another holiday? Yes, you guessed it Arizona.
Well Arizona, you can boycott new holidays and keep passing crazy laws and the rest of us will continue to challenged them in a court of law and continue to add cities to our Boycott of your state.
I real cannot believe anything that comes out of Brewer’s mouth, in an interview she first said her father had died in Germany fighting the Nazi in World War II (war ended 1945) but of course we find out the truth that father was never in Germany and died in California in 1955. But we are suppose to believe everything else she says, right! No one voted for you for Governor, yet you keep listening to the tiny brains of the crazies and signing into law everything that comes into their feeble minds, it only make you look dumb, stupid or racist, or maybe all three.
As for the Tea Bag Party, their phony patriotism is sickening; they are just racists going by another name. We all know you are just itching to put a sheet on their head? Let’s face it the Republicans had eight years to deal with health care, immigration, energy (remember Cheney’s secret meetings with oil companies where loosening regulation and oversight were sealed), climate change and financial oversight and governance and they failed. It appears that the Republican Party is only good at starting wars (two in eight years, with fat contracts to friends of Cheney/Bush) but not at winning wars as seen by the continuing line of body bags that keep coming home. The Republicans party will continue turned inward to their old fashion obstructionist party (and their Confederacy appreciation roots) because they continue to allow a small portions (but very loud portion) of their party of “birthers, baggers and blowhards” to rule their party. I will admit that this fringe is very good at playing “Follow the Leader” by listening to their dullard leaders, Beck, Hedgecock, Hannity, O’Reilly, Rush, Savage, Sarah Bailin, Orly Taitz, Victoria Jackson, Michele Bachmann and the rest of the Blowhards and acting as ill programmed robots (they have already acted against doctors that perform abortions). Yee Haw!
A note to my reader's: I published this one hateful comment to give you a taste of what I deal with every day. I barely posted the NAACP article and I received a dozen comments like this by different people. or perhaps it was the same person who knows.
Montana, I am part of the T.E.A. party movement that began in 2008 when George W. Bush was still president. Part of me wants to feel sorry for you, but I won't. Based on what you wrote you are obviously an adult and ought to be able to think for yourself. Therefore, you and I can debate those issue's you mentioned like adults.
My first question to you is: Have you read the Arizona illegal immigration bill? It is only 16 pages long vs. the 2,000+ page health care reform bill.
Oh and by the way, I am NOT WHITE, nor am I a republican.
The problem is this. Tea Party candidates will win a number of these congressional races because local districts are often safely partisan in nature. They can make their wild, unfounded claims, crazy accusations, etc., and win. That means not only are we likely to see an increase in Republican seats in both houses, we're likely to see more antics, more insanity, more stupidity. At the same time they're going to do everything they can to derail Obama's policies which will likely mean high unemployment, a moribund economy, and more compromises on policy positions that make no one happy.
That could literally mean that if the Republicans put up a legitimate candidate in 2012, they could win. Such a result is bad enough, but the likely response for the Democrats is to move further to the "middle" to placate voters. As we've seen over the last decade, the "middle" in American politics is basically on the verge of being an 80s Republican. Increasingly that means we'll have a political landscape of a conservative party and ratfuck insane parties. The former, given it's track record, slowly moving to the right, the latter, given it's track record, loudly screaming "socialism, communism, fascism!!!"
If we continue on this course, privatization will be socialism.
@Dogmeat, yes we in the T.E.A. party are in complete utter agreement that we want ALL of the democrats FIRED and republicans who have forgotten that they were put in office SERVE the people NOT themselves.
Therefore, you are correct in saying that we intend to replace the career condescending politicians with republican candidates who WILL be seriously VETTED and WILL be HELD ACCOUNTABLE!
The problem is NOT that we are replacing the democrats with republicans... THE PROBLEM is that the American public as a whole has been SERIOUSLY COMPLACENT and that my friend is what has led us ALL into the mess we find ourselves in.
I agree our federal, state and local governments have UTTERLY FAILED US ALL over the past 9 1/2 years. I was not fond of Bush and have that documented in the blog if you care to read back. However, President Obama has not only MAINTAINED Bush's former policies that he rebuked when he was running for president, he is RESPONSIBLE for making OUR SITUATION FAR WORSE! and has the nerve, THE NERVE to continue telling the American public that our economy is on the RIGHT TRACK?! He and the democrats really believe that we are THAT STUPID! Only his followers will blindly agree with his false statements even though THE economic FIRE is burning them.
I want to take this opportunity to thank the Tea Party for electing Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown since he voted for the Financial Reform Bill and help the President of the United States with another legislative victory, thank you Tea Party. Have you heard of “Unintended Consequences” or “Blowback”? Was he working for the Tea Party, himself or our Country, hmmm... ony you can answer this one.
I appreciate your sarcasm. I'm glad to hear that you are informed. I can't speak for Scott Brown. But I can speculate that he received a payoff, an exchange, for his vote. Scott Brown has to live with this decision he made. We'll find out if he has a good conscience in due time. This is his first big vote, it is now on his record and yes he will be held accountable for it.
Right now, all I can say is he made a horrible decision to sell out the American public by voting for the finreg bill. This piece of legislation is just as god awful as the hcr bill. It doesn't fix the problem it ONLY made it worse.
But I don't expect you to understand that, since you appear more enamored with your political party and president Obama than you do with the GREATER GOOD for Americans. Meaning you place more importance on the democratic agenda victory than you do with what is ACTUALLY being signed into LAW!
Did you even bother reading the finreg bill? If you did, there would be no justifying your excitement.
