House Speaker Joe Hackney Bans Word "Jesus" In Prayers Before NC Legislative Meetings

Sheer insanity!!! How can anybody be offended by the name of Jesus. Even if you are not a christian, why so afraid? Why have they NOT banned the words "Mohammad" or "Buddha" or "Moses"?!?! Why the FEAR of the word "Jesus"? Seriously, I want for you to think about that for a moment. WHY? Perhaps because INVOKING the name of "Jesus" cleanses the environment. Well then I recommend ANY pastor start using the word "YAHSHUA" when ordered to revoke Jesus' name! These idiots won't have a clue what that word means but you will.

It seems almost shameful to point it out, but it is simply a reflection of where this nation is headed. The irony here is that Pastor Ron Baity of Berean Baptist Church in Winston-Salem had been invited for the very purpose of leading in prayer at North Carolina’s capitol, and he was supposed to hold the responsibility for a week, according to a www.foxnews.com article on Friday.

Baity had been asked to hand his prayer over to a House clerk: “When I handed it to the lady, I watched her eyes and they immediately went right to the bottom of the page and the word Jesus.”

Baity said that the woman told him, “We would prefer that you not use the name of Jesus. We have some people here that can be offended.”

Baity explained that, “I told her I was highly offended when she asked me not to pray in the name of Jesus because that does constitute my faith.”

When Baity’s protest was made known to House Speaker Joe Hackney, Baity was told that after delivering prayer for the day, “his services would no longer be needed.”

According to a www.onenewsnow.com article on Friday, a conservative political activist has claimed that “Obama’s pro-Islamic leadings” are causing radical Islamic groups to become more bold in their activities. And situations such as the one mentioned above likely add to the notion that America is simply becoming a weak nation that they can more easily overcome than in the past.

Robert Knight, senior fellow at American Civil Rights Union and senior writer for Coral Ridge Ministries has also claimed that Obama’s lack of support for Israel and his preferential treatment toward the Muslim nations is feeding the extremist mindset regarding jihad.

The One News Now article also mentioned that the radical Islamic group Hizb ut- Tahrir America (HTA) is planning an event on July 11 in a Chicago suburb which they are calling “Emerging World Order: How the Khilafah Will Shape the World.” The Khilafah (also spelled Caliphate) is basically, according to Webster’s, “the office or dominion of a caliph.” A caliph is basically a spiritual leader of Islam. The president of American Islamic Forum for Democracy has admitted that HTA is “a conveyor belt to terror.”

NASA Administer Charles Bolden’s admission that one of NASA’s main purposes is to improve relations with Muslim countries has been a hot topic in conservative circles. A Fox New article from Thursday reported that former NASA personnel were deeply concerned when Bolden, “not only claim(ed) Muslim outreach as his portfolio, but he called NASA an ‘Earth improvement agency’ and said the United States cannot go beyond low-Earth orbit without international help. His predecessor, Michael Griffin, said that is false, despite his professed admiration for Bolden.”

The only way Muslim relations will ever improve between the US and Muslim countries is if the US declares itself a Muslim country and institutes sharia law. If the Obama administration isn’t ignorant of this fact, then one has to wonder if they are trying to assist them. The extremists have declared war on America. So attempting to straddle the political fence of diplomacy is reading as a retreat and is only going to lead to the defeat of America…whether we remain an ally to Israel or not. And since God blesses those who bless Israel and curses those who curse it (Genesis chapter 12 verse 3), we’re likely to experience some much needed divine intervention as a country if our nation starts consistently standing with Israel again.
