I couldn't find the PSA they show here in Los Angeles everyday with President Obama asking us to help the food banks. The one I'm referring to is similar to the one about what it means to be a father they run almost everyday. But this PSA will have to do to make my point.
IF President Obama really cared about helping the poor, he wouldn't run daily television ads asking US, the citizenry to make contributions to the FOOD BANKS across America that don't have enough food to provide the growing number of UNEMPLOYED citizens who need it. If he really cared, don't you think the problem would have been resolved already? I mean seriously, I want for you to think about this for a moment. He is President now. Why didn't he make sure all FOOD BANKS were stocked immediately?
As a taxpayer, I don't mind my President sending our money to a worthy cause such as this to help my fellow countrymen, women and children in need. That is taxpayer money well spent. However, all he has done is talk about it and has the nerve to ask us to contribute a portion of our NET INCOME after the federal and state government has taken their share to spend on their collegues and friends.
What get's my goat is that President Obama and the democrats have WASTED 100s of BILLION of our taxpayer dollars on special interest EARMARKS within ONE YEAR that only serve their political careers! My gosh I get a brain freeze to think about the BILLIONS they have wasted on JUNK that could have easily paved every road in America, clothed the naked, fed the poor and provided shelter for the homeless.

$1 BILLION alone would have stocked up every FOOD BANK across America to the brim and overflowing.
What's more, the COST of those television ads President Obama is running using our taxpayer money, could have easily helped the FOOD BANKS across America!
Let me remind those of you who choose to conveniently look the other way. President Obama threw each of us a bone with the so-called Economic Stimulus bill. President Obama gave the unemployed a $25 per week increase and gave those who are employed an $8 per week increase via his so-called tax cut. That is the COLD HARD TRUTH about how he feels about the common citizens struggling in America.
