It just dawned on me that the horrible Health Care Reform Bill they are voting on today is NOT going to solve our cost problem one bit. With the IRS attached to this bill giving them expanded powers, they are only going to be monitoring those of us who are law abiding citizens who actually file tax returns. Well, you think you detest the IRS now, you better believe these SOB's will be so far up our Taxpayer arses we will wish this POS legislation was NEVER PASSED!
Now this is what I take issue with, I haven't heard one person mention or even consider those people who NEVER FILE TAX RETURNS! These people I'm referring to who use emergency rooms and DO NOT have health insurance are MAINLY the homeless, gangsters, drug dealers, pimps, prostitutes and immigrants who are here illegally. These people are still going to need to be treated when they get gun shot wounds, stabbed with a knife, beaten up, pregnancies, even for regular illnesses right? Our Health Care providers will still be required to take these emergency or non-emergency patients in as is the law today. Therefore, who the heck do you think is going to have to continue eating up the COST?! The Hospitals naturally and doctors! Then they will try to get that money from the government who will not pay them. Sound familiar? Well it should, because that is precisely what is happening today! This is the MAIN PROBLEM that has been driving up OUR COST! Don't believe for one moment that these people won't continue to be the CAUSE of driving up our Health Insurance premiums! Will these people be FINED by the IRS or arrested immediately for NOT HAVING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE?!
Another thing that I keep hearing from the democrats is that poor people are not covered. Well who's fault do you think that is? Our government! The poor and low-income individuals and families are covered through MEDICAID! The federal government has a history of not making payments for services rendered to the health care providers and when our federal government does make payments, it's far below the actual cost of the medical treatment. Therefore, because of our federal governments inefficient manner in processing claims hospitals, medical clinics and doctors have STOPPED ACCEPTING MEDICAID PATIENTS! Ask yourself this question, if you were providing a service for a couple of years and NOT GETTING PAID would you continue providing services to MEDICAID PATIENTS? NO, you wouldn't because you would be working for FREE, right?! Isn't your time worth something, not to mention your staff, overhead cost to run the facility and supplies used. Come on now, it's the federal government who has GROSSLY FAILED the MEDICAID SYSTEM that is supposed to be providing health care to poor and low-income individuals and families. And believe me NOTHING will change if this Senate Health Care Reform bill get's signed into law.
Now I want to talk about the those people who have pre-existing conditions. The democrats claim that the Health Care Reform legislation they are voting on today will cover children with pre-existing conditions immediately and adults with pre-existing conditions WILL NOT be covered until 2014. Okay, that kind of sounds good right? Have you ever thought this one through? Our federal government is going to FORCE Health Insurance companies to accept everyone with pre-existing conditions. But what the democrats have FAILED to tell any of you is the PRICE of the PREMIUM the Health Insurance companies will be billing you for this kind of coverage. Do you really think the Health Insurance company is going to charge you, somebody with a pre-existing condition that is going to COST THEM a lot of money to TREAT YOU for an extended period of time, THE SAME as someone like me who is in excellent health and will hardly use my Health Insurance? I want you to really think about that for a moment? Yeah sure, you or your child will be covered but AT A HIGH COST!
The middle class makes up the majority of the U.S. population. Therefore, it is going to be us who is going to have to shoulder the continued losses incurred by the Health Care industry due to the reasons I mentioned above. Thus, our premium rates will NO DOUBT be increased because the federal government is going to levie excise taxes on the Health Care Insurance Providers who will pass that extra cost/expense down to us. They will also raise our premium rates because of the cotinued losses incurred by people who DO NOT have health care insurance and use hospital emergency facilities. You don't have to be a genius to think this through and understand this fact.

Now this is something else I want you to think about. The democrats claim that 30 million Americans are without health care right now. Okay, the US Census Bureau reports there are 307 million Americans today. That would mean roughly 10% of the American population are without health care. Are you following me? Well, both the House and Senate bills admit that ONLY 94% of the American population will be covered leaving 6% without coverage. Hhmm... let us do the math please. 10% - 6% = 4%. Are you following me? These two bills they're about to toss a coin in the air to pick which one they'll pass WILL ONLY HELP 4% of the 10% that do not have or are unable to obtain coverage! LEAVING 6% WITHOUT ANY COVERAGE! That's roughly 20 MILLION Americans that will STILL be left UNINSURED. Why couldn't our government draft a bill that would explicity help the 10% of our population that needs help? But I suppose that would be TOO EASY! Our government likes to COMPLICATE EVERYTHING!
With all the 100s BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars WASTED on BULLSH*T this past year Health care could have been provided to the 10% of the U.S. population that really NEEDS IT!
