WOW! This movie is spectacular and so captivating! I loved the story and the principles it teaches. I smiled, I laughed, I cringed, I got angry, I was inspired and I cried. I highly recommend this foreign film. You can rent this movie now with english subtitles. I'm definitely adding this movie to my favorites. I have taken the following synopsis from wikipedia.

An Empress and the Warriors (Kong saan mei yan) is a Hong Kong film released on February 19 2008 by Beijing Poly-bona Film Publishing Company. It was directed by Ching Siu-tung (action director Tony Ching) and stars Kelly Chen, Leon Lai, Donnie Yen, and Kou Zhen Hai.
An Empress is set in ancient China, when different kingdoms are battling for control of the region. Yen Feier (Kelly Chen)'s father is killed in battle, making her the monarch of his kingdom and its defender. She unites with Muyong Xuehu (Donnie Yen) to protect her kingdom, while her cousin sends assassins to kill her. Feier falls in love with a man who saves her, and ultimately must decide whether to fulfill her duty to her kingdom or follow her heart.
