America sure knows how to disappoint. First it was the American Presidency and now American Idol or was it the other way around. Who knows? All I know is that tonight's finale was a HUGE upset! Sure Kris Allen is a good singer. But he was NOT the BEST! That is what we were supposed to be voting for: the person with the MOST TALENT! However, America once again has voted for the person from their state or region or the person they thought was the cutest or most charming. Way to go! It's no wonder we ended up with the President we have now. Everybody gets ruled by GROUP THINK! Here are examples of American Idol contestants who you did not vote for and who WON in the end are Chris Daughtry and Jennifer Hudson.
It is my hope that Adam Lambert gets signed to the best record label and PROVES all of America WRONG! May Adam Lambert's debut album soar to #1 and stay there for weeks. May Adam Lambert's debut album go to PLATINUM! Believe me when I tell you that Adam Lambert will become a LEGEND. Oh and to all of you IDIOTS across America who insist on referring to Adam Lambert as flamboyant... Yeah, I saw the homophobic videos urging everybody to vote for the other guy and read the atrocious comments by bloggers. I have never understood why people, most especially religious people would FEAR gay people? Isn't FEAR abd HATE the opposite of God's LOVE and FAITH? Jesus would NEVER have approved this kind of behavior! The only reasonable explanation why you would FEAR a gay person is because you could secretly be one yourself! That would be the only sensible reason why people feel so threatened. Your FEAR is a clear sign of WEAKNESS and INSECURITY. My point is if you were truly SECURE with your sexuality, then you should have absolutely NOTHING to FEAR. Homeosexuality is NOT a disease and is NOT contagious! You either are or your NOT. I honestly believe that your ignorance is more of a threat to humanity than someones 'private' life.
Need I remind you of other LEGENDARY flambuoyant artists such as Freddie Mercury, lead singer for Queen; Steven Tyler, lead singer for Aerosmith; Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and Pete Criss of KISS; Robert Plant, lead singer for Led Zeppelin; the list goes on and on!!! They are UNIQUE ENTERTAINERS who have AWESOME VOICES!
