State Controlled MEDIA: CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS. They Are NOT Journalist! They Are Bought And Paid For MOUTPIECES! Shame On YOU!

I am posting this for my readers who did not have the priviledge to observe the coverage of Wednesday's event that swept across the nation. I wasn't able to post this video yesterday because Google shut down the site for maintenance. So, I vented/commented at the YouTube video. I just went to retrieve the video and now there are 1,562 comments posted. WOW! That is ALOT in 24 hours. I am now actually glad that I didn't have access to my blog because Google had the site down for maintenance. It inadvertently gave me time to simmer and take it all in.

This is what I commented at the video:

This is a PERFECT example of government CONTROLLED MEDIA!!! MSNBC, CNN, ABC & CBS shoud be ashamed how they reported these rallies across the nation. Journalist are supposed to be OBJECTIVE! I am NOT a republican and the media made today's event out to be a right wing extremist rally! This woman and the Obama administration defended Obama by saying he gave 95% of Americans tax cuts?! $400 divided by 52 wks = $7.69 increase per week!! Obama is BRAGGING about graciously giving us $8 a week extra?! You can't even buy a pizza for $8 dollars!

We are pissed off at the government! At Congress and the Senate for drawing up the bills ie; $787 BILLION so-called stimulus bill and the $410 BILLION Omnibus bill! And we are pissed off that President Obama signed these bills even after knowing NOBODY READ THESE BILLS!!! Not to mention, the $350 BILLIONs that the Obama Administration was handed over by Bush to BAIL OUT the BANKSTERS! We the people of the United States are DEMANDING MORE TRANSPARENCY! Where did ALL this money go? To whom did it go? There is absolutely NO ACCOUNTABILITY! You, our government, have WASTED taxpayer dollars in the TRILLIONS without any REMORSE paying off ALL of your buddies to keep you in office!

This is how I feel now:

I am honestly amused that the reporters from these networks find the taxpaying citizens amusing. Did it ever occur to you that many of these protesters are SHAREHOLDERS and quite possibly viewers of your oganizations. You are shooting yourselves in the foot. We ALL have a legitimate reason to be concerned about the state and direction of our economy. We ALL have watched our government EXPAND instead of CONTRACT. The government at all levels, Federal, State and Local has and continues to overspend.

Please consider this for a moment, if more and more taxpaying citizens continue to lose their jobs, then that would mean LESS TAX REVENUE for the federal, state and local government. RIGHT? I think there are like 3.5 MILLION people unemployed right now. This figure ONLY includes those who are collecting unemployment insurance. Add to that figure, the millions of homeless and part-time working citizens. PLUS, MILLIONS are losing their homes to foreclosure which means LESS and LESS property tax collection for every state. The final nail in the coffin are the small business owners that will eventually have to CLOSE because they are unable to obtain short term loans to continue operating the business. It IS a VICIOUS CYCLE that will continue to play out. This means LESS business tax and other chargeable business liabilities that the government collects.

Now ask yourself honestly how do you expect our government to continue running if INTAKE is reduced dramatically and OUTTAKE meaning expenditures RISE DRAMATICALLY? Do you honestly think for one moment President Obama is not going to have to SERIOUSLY CONSIDER raising EVERYBODY's TAXES? I promise you this, he isn't ONLY going to raise the taxes on the wealthy. Somebody is going to have to pay for the MEGA PAYOFF spree President Obama, Congress and Senate have enjoyed and INTEND to continue enjoying AT OUR EXPENSE! This is absolutely NO JOKE!

Look, I have no problem paying my share of the taxes (Federal, State and Local). I see it as my contribution to the greater whole of society. It's supposed to be allocated to the many social services we all partake in on a daily basis. Plus, our taxes pay for the BLOATED SALARIES government officials REVEL in. However, I do have a problem when the government doesn't STOP, examine the situation and effectively act for the GREATER GOOD! Instead, ALL I continue to see is MORE SELFISHNESS and MORE GREED by our governing body! The government even had the GALL to give themselves a salary RAISE!!! This ENTITLEMENT mentality needs to stop! The citizens of the United States should VOTE whether our government DESERVES a raise or not based on PERFORMANCE!

Now, if the reporters plus Nancy Pelosi want to patronize us in the manner they displayed. By all means, continue to do so. All you are doing is proving that you ONLY work for the government. You are NOT JOURNALIST! No I'm afraid not. This government has acted IRRESPONSIBLY just as MUCH as the last President and I have NOT heard one quip out of you directed at any of these government officials. You have even APPLAUDED our government's recent FISCAL SUICIDE. Instead, you have decidely chosen to direct your FLIPPANT remarks at US, THE TAXPAYING CITIZENS of the United States of America! Thank you for BEING ON OUR SIDE! [/sarcasm] I guess what they taught you in the school of Journalism doesn't pertain to us. What a shame.

Journalism ethics and standards comprise principles of ethics and of good practice as applicable to the specific challenges faced by professional journalists. Historically and currently, this subset of media ethics is widely known to journalists as their professional "code of ethics" or the "canons of journalism." The basic codes and canons commonly appear in statements drafted by both professional journalism associations and individual print, broadcast, and online news organizations.

While various existing codes have some differences, most share common elements including the principles of — truthfulness, accuracy, objectivity, impartiality, fairness and public accountability — as these apply to the acquisition of newsworthy information and its subsequent dissemination to the public.

Like many broader ethical systems, journalism ethics include the principle of "limitation of harm." This often involves the withholding of certain details from reports such as the names of minor children, crime victims' names or information not materially related to particular news reports release of which might, for example, harm someone's reputation.
