Do YOU Think This Is PROPAGANDA???

I can't believe Barack Obama is so arrogant and apparently so desparate that his campaign has bought a half an hour of prime television airtime.

I don't know about you, but this infomercial is clearly propaganda to me! I mean come on, first he creates his own logo that has replaced the American flag on his campaign jet. Then he created his very own seal with his logo where the American flag should be that mocked the U.S. Presidential seal in my opinion.

Apparently, he believes that the brainwashing of Americans is working? Therefore, he wants to have one last go at making sure he has infected every last American with his subliminal messages. "I am the one you will be bowing down to very soon." or "You will see my face plastered everywhere to remind you that I am your leader." or "I will have statues built in my honor in every city using your taxpayer money." or "I will use the new FISA bill I voted for to arrest anybody being caught speaking against me or my administration."

This guy's arrogance is too much! He has made this election ALL about him and his rise to power. Him getting elected has nothing to do with the American people as he would like to make you believe. It has everything to do with his grandiose EGO!

These are indicators of where he intends to steer America. He has shown that he has absolutely NO respect for American ideals ONLY his own and that of his backers. Who by the way have spent billions of dollars grooming this man since he began running for state senator in Chicago. Hhhmm, have you at least stopped and asked yourselves why they chose him? and What are these peoples intentions for America's future? They merely played on Obama's ambition and Obama was more than happy to oblige. Spineless jellyfish!

Barack Obama's spending power will move a stage further when he takes over 30 minutes of prime-time network TV in a bold attempt to win vital votes.

On the other hand, he could simply irritate viewers expecting to see their favourite programmes.

His campaign has paid NBC, CBS and Fox around a million dollars each to air a half-hour long commercial. A version will also air on the Spanish language network Univision.

The only network which will be an Obama-free zone is ABC, which wanted to screen the programme at a different time. Obama's advisers refused, and although ABC finally caved in and agreed to air the advert, the campaign decided to spend the money elsewhere.

ABC is now trying to capitalise by telling viewers "Wednesday, you have a choice - get political with the other networks or watch a new episode of "Pushing Daisies" at 8 p.m.

The Fox network had another consideration before agreeing to accept the Democratic candidate's money. They are in the middle of screening the Baseball World Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Tampa Bay Rays. When the Obama deal was struck, there was the possibility that the best-of-seven series would be over. Article continued...

Nah, he is using it as one last attempt to talk directly to voters, especially independant undecideds, about his plans should he be elected President. McCain would have done the same thing if he had the money.

Plus, he constantly has to overcome the wingnut bloggers and faux news echo chamber of how he is really the anti-christ.

P.S. Pretty much all campaigning is propaganda, duh.

Princess, you said about Obama, "This guy's arrogance is too much!"

IMHO, this is an amazing thing to hear from somebody who favors McCain, whose voting record parallels that of George Bush.

And Bush's arrogance is indeed too much!
