I came home from work today and decided to listen to Michael Jackson's HiStory CD amongst others I chose to listen to help me unwind. This song is the last song on this CD. When this song began playing I couldn't stop crying. These lyrics were completely unexpected for me. In fact, I completely forgot this song was on this CD. This song and lyrics have touched me so much right now. I hope it does the same for you.

WE ARE THE WORLD! You and me. We must do everything we have in our power to help those who are unable to defend themselves, unable to protect themselves, who have been silented by people or governments who are abusing their power of authority over others. God is holding us ALL responsible to love, care and attend to those who cannot help themselves. We MUST take a stand someway somehow to liberate those held captive in oppression and slavery and war. I was led to this extremely touching video adapted to this song.
