Butterfly: The Mysteries of Transformation

I will never cease to be AMAZED by God! Today as I walked out to my backyard to enjoy my first cup of coffee, there was a beautiful butterfly resting on the pavement. I know there was a message within this butterfly's visit for me. I couldn't tell whether this butterfly was at the end of her life or the beginning. When I went to take a closer look I noticed that her wing's had newly created ridges on them. Meaning she had just recently hatched from her cocoon!

I then went to YouTube and typed these key words 'Butterfly + God' and was led to this AMAZING message created by the Humanity Healing Foundation! I have typed a transcript of this message for all of my international readers who need to use Babel Fish to translate:

"What the caterpillar calls the end of the World, the master call's a butterfly." by Richard Bach

The metamorphosis of caterpillar to butterfly emobodies the principle of physical and spiritual transformation. The very lighting of a butterfly upon a flower is the very essense of joy, freedom and beauty. The butterfly represents the essence of never-ending cycles of change.

Throughout time across nations, and in various cultures, the butterfly has been a symbol of many different things. To the ancient Celts, the butterfly has represented the carrying of the souls of the dead from Purgatory to the Heavens. To the Blackfeet Native Americans the butterfly brought dreams to the members of the tribe. While to the other Native American tribes it represents great joy. In China butterflies are the harbinger of change. To early Christians these amazing creatures symbolized the essence or the soul. While in Greek mythology the butterfly is associated with the Goddess Psyche. In ancient Egypt they reigning as the symbol of the Isis.

Butterfly has been the symbol of consistent change, cycles, growth and ultimately transformation. "If nothing ever changed, there'd be no butterflies." ~ author unknown

Butterflies act as a signal that you're about to undergo a transformation. Not only are these amazing creatures symbols of great change, but they represent the regeneration and creation of life. The metamorphosis of butterflies and moths is still considered one of the greatest mysteries of nature.

In early Minoan and Mycenaean cultures, the butterfly goddess was key emblem, symbolizing new life after death. The butterfly flies FREE in the mandala (wheel) of time. When the butterfly dies, that is the end of the soul forever.

"I only ask to be FREE. The butterflies are free." ~ by Charles Dickens

In embracing the symbol of the butterfly, we are also holding to the essence of our VISION to transform this WORLD back into the sacred: regenerating balance, joy, beauty and peace! Beginning within our homes, rippling outward with each wave of our wings initiating a new cycle where FREEDOM rings LOUDLY and sage foresight becomes the NORM! Through concerted EFFORTS toward creating the world in celebration; UNITED. We as a people collectively opt to make the necessary metamorphosis.

"We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty." ~ Dr. Maya Angelou
